The colour of the King
The king loves the throne
Rather than those he governs.
The king loves the governing
Rather than the governed.
His subjects adore him
And mourns his death more than his kin’s.

The Divine Right Of Kings
The only king by right divine
Is Ellen King, and were she mine
I'd strive for liberty no more,
But hug the glorious chains I wore.
Her bosom is an ivory throne,
Where tyrant virtue reigns alone ;
No subject vice dare interfere,
To check the power that governs here.
O! would she deign to rule my fate,
I'd worship Kings and kingly state,
And hold this maxim all life long,
The King — my King — can do no wrong.

Humility for the holder
The king honouring his subject,
The subject can boast it off.
The subjects complimenting their king,
The king must not beam with it..

A King in Exile
O THE Queen may keep her golden
Crown and sceptre of command!
I would give them both twice over
To be King of Babyland.
Sure, it is a wondrous country
Where the beanstalks grow apace,
And so very near the moon is
You could almost stroke her face.
And the dwellers in that country
Hold in such esteem their King,
They believe that if he chooses
He can do—just anything!
And, although his regal stature
May be only four-feet-ten,
Think him tallest, strongest, bravest,
Noblest, wisest, best of men.
Ah, how fondly I remember
The good time serene and fair,
In the bygone years when I, too,
Was a reigning monarch there!
But my subjects they discrowned me
When they’d older, colder, grown;
And they took away my sceptre,
And upset my royal throne.
Yet, although a King in Exile,
Without subjects to command,
I am glad at heart to think I
Once was King of Babyland.

He loves me, He loves me not
He loves me,
he loves me not
Like a fairy tale
a flower pedal
represents love,
but of course
He loves me,
he loves me not
There is no
I'm not sure's
or I like you, but's
just seven little words
He loves me,
He loves me not
There are no other girls
no jelousy or pain
no arguments, no humiliation
it all falls into
He loves me,
He loves me not
But what if...
it doesn't exist
if love is truly such a fairy tale
then explain this:
He loves me,
He loves me not
He loves me,
He loves me not
He loves me,
He loves me not

Loves On The Line
Tell me baby
Have we lost everything that we had before
What do you do in the day
When I walk out the door
I can see you made up your mind
And I know our loves on the line
Loves on the line, our loves on the line
Loves on the line, our loves on the line
Loves on the line, our loves on the line
With each passing day
I gotta watch more and more what I say to you
I can feel your eyes looking through me
As I sit at the table at dinnertime
I can feel our loves on the line
Loves on the line, our loves on the line
Loves on the line, our loves on the line
Loves on the line, our loves on the line
I watch our kids
Growin up, going to school
Is there anything else for us now
Are we both just fools
Wasting our precious time
At night we lay in bed
But its like youre not even there
Theres something real bad
Going wrong somewhere
Last night I heard you cry
And I know our loves on the line
Loves on the line, our loves on the line
Loves on the line, our loves on the line
Loves on the line, our loves on the line
Loves on the line

The King Paves The Way
If the king is corrupt,
His subjects will follow suit.
If the king is immoral,
His traders will take upper hand.
If the king listens to the queen,
He will lose mass appeal.
If the king ignores shortfalls
His welfare has no effects.

How Does It Feel
I know that youre out there
Knowing that theres someone out here thinkin of you
In your heart and in your mind
I know there is no doubt that someone loves you
And I know that you know
That Ill be waiting here when you have need of me
And when the world has chained you down
I know you know my love will set you free
How does it feel to know that someone loves you
How does it feel to know that someones always thinkin of you
Oh and how does it feel to know that someone puts no one above you
How does it feel to know that someone loves you, someone loves you
I have come to know and love you
Like Ive never known or loved another
Words have not been made
That could describe these feelings we have for each other
And I would go to any length
To let you know at all times that I care
cause I want you to know
That any time you reach for me youll find me there
How does it feel to know that someone loves you
How does it feel to know that someones always thinkin of you
Oh and how does it feel to know that someone puts no one above you
How does it feel to know that someone loves you, someone loves you
Someone loves you, how does it feel to know it
Someone loves you, how does it feel to know that someone
Loves you, someone loves you, how does it feel, how does it feel
How does it feel to know that someone loves you
Somebody loves you, how does it feel, how does it feel
How does it feel to know that someone loves you
Someone loves you, somebody loves you
Somebody loves you, how does it feel to know it
Somebody loves you

He Loves You
His love will conquer anger
His love defies all words
He hears all the prayers that are spoken
And all the prayers unheard
His love is unconditional
He loves you when your wrong
He loves you when you disobey
His love for you is strong
He loves you when you stumble
He loves you when you fall
He loves us so much more than words
He really loves us all
He loves you when you call His name
He loves you when you cry
He loves you when your down and out
For us He sent his Son to die
He loves you when you're laughing
He loves you when you smile
He loves it when you praise His name
He loves you, you're his child
His love is never ending
Until the end of time
And once you just embrace His love
Your life will be just fine
For He's got the best intentions
Look at The Son of Man
Be honored through the joy & pain
You're a big part of His plan.

King Without A Crown
Welcome to the great republic
Guess I should show you round
Where once I was a king
And now I am a clown
The love that we once shared
Made a king of me
But now youre gone... but now youre gone
All I face is poverty
...king without a heart
...king without a hope
...king without a woman baby
Oh Im a king without a crown
...king without a heart
...king without a hope
...king without a woman baby
Oh Im a king without a crown
Hell hath no fury
Like a woman scorned
But heaven dont boast - no heaven dont boast
The jewel - the pretty jewel I just pawned
Every cloud has a silver lining
Every dog has its day
Oh but I guess the sun stopped shining
On the day you went away
...king without a heart
...king without a hope
...king without a woman baby
Oh Im a king without a crown
...king without a heart
...king without a hope
...king without a woman baby
Oh Im a king without a crown
...king without a heart
...king without a hope
...king without a woman baby
Yes Im a king - king! king without a crown
Bathed in former glory
Deposed from my throne
How do I get to tell my story?
When all gets your answerphone...
But you aint home
With the love you gave
I felt like royalty
But now youre face to face - face to face
With one ex-member of the aristocracy
...king without a heart
...king without a hope
...king without a woman baby
Oh Im a king without a crown
...king without a heart
...king without a hope
...king without a woman baby
Oh Im a king without a crown
Theres no need to feel down
Yeah just take a look around
Youll see a man whos just a man
Nothing more
A king without a crown

Jesus, He Loves Me
Edwin McCain---Jesus, He Loves Me
I've been through the valley
But I've feared no man
Saw the beach and the footprints
Alone in the sand
And times seemed hopeless
The night too dark to see
The lone footprints on the road behind
Were the times when You carried me
Jesus, He loves me
This I know
Jesus, He loves me
For the Bible tells me so
Son of God, our Savior and King
You're taking away
The sins of the world
So I'll raise my voice and sing
I've held the hand of the devil
At the crossroads of my faith
My Lord came and rescued me
By His saving grace
And Jesus, He loves me
And this I know
Oh Jesus, He loves me
And you know, He saved my soul
He saved my soul

Rock n Roll Is King
Listen everybody let me tell you bout the rock n roll
Feel that rhythm and its really gonna thrill your soul
She said come along with me, to a land of make believe
She said rock n roll is king
She loves that rock n roll and she plays it all night long
Thats all she ever tells me when I call her on the telephone
She says feel that jumpin beat, and git up on your feet
She says rock n roll is king
Chorus: oh let those guitars play
Play for me play for me
Oh let that song ring out
Thats how its meant to be
It rolls like a train thats comin on down the track
She rolled over beethoven and she gave tchaikovsky back
She loves that drivin beat, she goes dancin on down the street
She said rock n roll is king
Chorus
When she comes around and Im listenin to the radio
She says you cant do that cause all I wanna do is rock n roll
Now here Im gonna stay where that music starts to play
She says rock n roll is king

When This Woman Loves A Man
Looks like she really did you in
You're a broken hearted lover
Just tryin' to recover
You need to find a place to mend
All your time ain't necessary
But I don't wanna be a temporary thing
Gimme just half a chance
Chorus
When this woman loves a man
She'll do anything she can
To keep the fire alive in your soul
And when all the chips are down
I'm still gonna be the one around
To build you up and be your friend
When this woman loves
When this woman loves a man
Dont play it cool, no don't be shy
Oh there's no need to worry
No I'm not in a hurry
So let your conscience be your guide boy
Come here and let me show you
Just how much I adore you
Let me help you understand
(repeat chorus 2 x's)

When Somebody Loves You
When your heart is all alone every second
Seems so long
When its just you, you cant see through
Those ol clouds that rain so blue
But when somebody loves you
Theres nothing you cant do
When somebody loves you
Its easy to get through
When somebody loves you
The way I love you
When its late, the sun hangs low
By yourself, nowhere to go
Sing a song, you dance alone
Play solitaire and stare at the phone
But when somebody loves you
Theres nothing you cant do
When somebody loves you
Its easy to get through
When somebody loves you
The way I love you
So lets put aside our foolish pride
And let our hearts say hello
We both agree were just no good
At bein on our own
cause when somebody loves you
Theres nothing you cant do
When somebody loves you
Its easy to get through
When somebody loves you
The way I love you
The way I love you
The way I love you

When God Breaks His Silence
Let young Earth tremble 'neath His feet while planets still align
And in one pathway, let them meet and represent His sign,
For just as Israelites converge, one nation to behold,
The Heavens, too, must one time merge, as prophecies foretold!
The faithful wise ones kneel and pray! The Bridegroom's at the door!
The Saviour King's sent on His way, of this, you can be sure...
Else why would Christ, God's Son, submit to death upon the Cross,
If not upon His throne to sit and burn the Devil's dross?
Then Israel, slow through disbelief, repents with earnest shame,
To learn they caused their Saviour grief, yet now call on His name...
What love is shared by God above? Like manna from on high!
Like snowflakes from the King of Love! Like melted tears men cry!
Rejoice all ears that hear God speak! Hearts happy now, dear friends!
God loves you strong! God loves you weak! Receive the love He sends!
The Holy Spirit once in Christ is shared with mortals, too...
Though bruised and pierced and sacrificed, Lord Jesus died for YOU...
Behold one day of righteousness like none the Earth has known...
When God speaks one almighty, 'YES! I AM HERE, YOU'RE NOT ALONE! '

The Moon; A King
Sat upon an earthen throne:
The moon; a king.
Forever cursed to rule alone:
The moon; a king.
With bright celestial crown of stars:
The moon; a king.
So weary from battle and tattooed with scars:
The moon; a king.
