Regrets

I left my youth and teeth;
I regretted.
I left my beloved and civil life;
I regretted.
Parents and youngsters left me;
I regretted.
I shall be lost after death;
I now regret.
After death, where is the thought,
To regret?

Animals’ generosity

No animals have ever regretted
That their young ones neglected
Them, the old, and left for good.
Are we as much in generosity?

Regrets and curses

Who had not regretted
That they had neglected
Their parents after their deaths?
Who had not cursed
Their children for the neglects
They had from them at their death?

Jeffrey Tambor

My part had three lines. I said, 'You look wonderful, sir,' three times. All my friends said, 'Do not take that role - and do not understudy. You'll regret it the rest of your life.' I did both of those things, and I've never regretted it once.

Hatred and regret

You hated whom you had loved.
You regretted which you had neglected
Hatred is the passive revenge.
Regret is the love posthumous
Solace is derived from the both

The Symptom of death?

A thought of death had never occurred
Till I left my service.
A thought of death has never departed
Since I left my service.
Things loosening and values flung,
Aren’t I hastening to death?

Participation Requires

Everyday we awaken,
To a freshness awaiting us...
That has been already made.

Each Sunrise and Sunset,
Comes created...
To be the best as it gets.

Only mindsets are falsely timed,
To move and become upset...
In regretted backward steps.

But nothing experienced,
Here on Earth...
Is created to deliver to anyone regret.

Only mindsets are falsely timed,
To move and become upset...
In regretted backward steps.

With wishes to replace the unknown yet to face.
Choosing to separate from nature,
And isolate an agenda to initiate one's fate.

Everyday we awaken,
To a freshness awaiting us...
That has been already made.

And participation requires,
An observance to digest this...
As we live and obey without delay.

Black Rat

A black rat arrived at London Docks
Scurried ashore with its companion
Met with a grey rat and had a fight
Died on the quayside, but the companion
Left the black rat for the grey
And entered unseen the great city
But by the end of the week
A lot of people regretted his coming
The plague of the Black Death had arrived

Too Long In Happiness

Did you expect to find me saddened?
Returning as a 'gift' to lift my spirits,
From darkened caverns of despair?
Hoping to build and boost me as your new project...
As you coached me through a narrow tunnel vision!
Something you suspect,
You placed and left there...
By a quick and regretted decision?

You have an expression of shock I witness.
Neither am I bitter...
Nor has hope for me been stopped!
Are you surprised I have no tears to drop?
What are you planning to plot on this 'visit'?

When you left without explanation...
And I saw you unexpectedly,
With a ticket to board a train at the station.
I knew right then you were setting me free!
I admit I was then a bit upset...
But something came over me!
I wasn't angry upon this sight I met!

I saw myself with a life you had stalled.
I chose to heal...
I chose to stand tall.
After bouts with doubts you left.
And after my emotions were torn as I crawled!
Realizing you were the one that had done this all...
I never looked back!
You made me see you were not worth that!
You made it clear you were not my destiny.
That was definitely a 'no no' for me!

I'll prepare you lunch.
And when you are done...
Disappear.
I wont allow you to smog my fresh atmosphere!
Is it clear...
I have been too long in happiness without you?

Death

Death is a gift from heavens above,
Death is something you can not run from,
Death is something you can not regret,
Death is a wish,
A wish you might soon to regret,
Death can scare you,
You can not cheat death's design,
Death is not a game,
Death is something you might not win,
When you number is called you know death is calling for you,
Theres no pain, No more regrets, No more broken hearts,
Someday soon we all will die in deaths arms.

With Each Plateau Reached

With each plateau reached,
A piece of one's life is left behind...
To seek,
A greater experience that leaves,
Someone or something regretted.
Someone or something felt neglected.

But growth is just what that is.
A growth seldom occurs,
Without shedding some tears.
And a grief that eventually teaches.
With a mission that continues,
To be personally journeyed.

Hating myself for hurting you

I hurt you and I regret it with every breath i take
From what I did my spirit and heart break
I cry from the pain I caused you
I got drunk and did something I didn't want to
I lost one of the best things in life I've stumbled upon
Now I am left with nothing but pain to reside on
I am sorry and hope you can forgive me
For without you I will not be able to be happy
I wish I wasn't so stupid and could take back what I did
My hands tremble and my mind wanders into thoughts of death
I don't if I can make it through this
Something I caused by my pure stupidness
I look in the mirror and only see hurt and regret
I feel as though there is nothing left
I will do anything to be back in your arms
I want to be surrounded by your warmth
I cry and know the tears wont stop as long as you are gone
I hate myself for what I did knowing it was morally wrong

The Skeleton Butterfly

A skeleton butterfly, Kisses my cheek,
A kiss so beautiful...so gentle....so sweet,
It floats around the air, where death has been,
Always following me, for death has always been to close to touch,
Its beautiful bones, and wings of Crimson embers, Is left as a reminder that death Lives within us all,
he'll pay you a visit the cost is small,
This beautiful creature of death, left to ponder the living,
Lost in the sarrows of humans Frightened be fear,
It clings to me for life has more meaning when Death visits and leaves,
Lost in the devils eternity,
A butterfly stays with those touched by death, forever there friend,
when the world has left.

Peccavi for friend Bob

A sword suspended by a thread, precariously above my head
A sin committed long ago I did not want the world to know.
My conscience nagged incessantly I dreaded the discovery
of what I had done as a child. Sufficient cause to be reviled.
By anyone who came to know the secrets that I hid below
my air of seeming innocence. How I’ve regretted my offence.

What I had done nobody knew nor were they ever likely to.
I did not wish to cause alarm nor did I wish the slightest harm.
To anyone I was a fool to think it would be rather cool.
To super glue the ladies loo which left a lady sticking to
The toilet seat to her distress. I was too frightened to confess.

I realised eventually that only I could forgive me
I still regret my foolishness. A childish prank no more no less.
The time has come for my reprieve I am forgiven I believe
My punishment draws to its close.Although in fact still no one knows.
Who superglued the ladys loo. There is no way that they could do.
I have repented of my sin but secretly suppress a grin.
When I recall the memory which all my life has haunted me

Promised to Be Kept To Keep

Secrets...
That are kept,
Are secrets...
That may be wept.
To leave one with nights,
Unslept without rest.
Although promised to be kept to keep.

And secrets...
Left,
In a protectiveness...
Never regretted to forget,
Are kept secrets...
Wept.
One wishes to have ever met.

Direction

There was a girl in misery,
Undecided what she should be,
She stalked a man with mastery,
Hoping to learn from what she'd see,
She made the choices he did make,
Hoping that she could claim his fate,
It turned out it was a mistake,
But she realised this too late,
She went in a new direction,
But got lost once she had begun,
Following an introspection,
She saw her aim could not be done,
So chose to follow a woman,
And copied her every movement,
But it proved to be a bad plan,
Which did not aid her contentment,
For guidance she turned to a book,
But didn't like how things were put,
And regretted taking a look,
Because her failure was afoot,
She found this a wretched concept,
For she feared a life of regret,
So on with her struggle she kept,
Albeit with a new mindset,
In the end things turned out all right,
However it came at a price,
Which all too soon did come to light,
Since it proved to be her worst vice,
She discovered she could not smile,
Which caused her life to go awry,
For people thought she was hostile,
And would not look her in the eye.

That Melancholy Feeling

Rows of epitaphs casting shadows on the graves
I, singing quietly, feel the tranquility in May
I walk along the pathways reminiscing memories
I stumble on an emerald meadow- among it many trees.

Serenity is breathing a soft and balanced tune
And time dies, left behind us, and now it feels like June
The field has brightened quickly, morphing into striking jade
The melancholy feeling is the one I can’t evade

Regretted turning memories into feelings of remorse
Because I feel the sadness of the loss that was so coarse
I finally felt no hunger; no thirst had then remained,
And time was passing quickly, losing memories I tamed.

The deceased deserve to live, but fairness is a scary game
And every day I quiver from the death of my beloved dame
August passed, September too, and still it felt so glum and blue
I left the field, took one more glance, and felt a feeling of romance

Without mind or heart she was, but I stayed wrapped in timeless thought
And in a web of life and love, I was trapped, enveloped, caught
And through this crazy labyrinth I trekked, and swiftly finished.
But I wanted to return, redeem a feeling that diminished.

I understood the consequences of staying far too long,
And so I left the bright green field, still searching for that song
A melody to release through catharsis my emotions
And pledge to portray to her my yearning for devotion

As the millennium adopted living memories in my mind
Of her and I, our tangled lives, experiences that bind
Our soul into one twisted state of one eternal fact
That even though I left her grave, our hearts were still intact.

A heart chanced

A heart chanced
~
A heart chanced once more
After years of silent solitude
Met only silence in its asking
And wept into a quiet nothing
A pride and strength deflated
The hope which fed each word
Broken like the dream left behind
The memories of past heartbreak
Revoked in this new silence
A question asked, regretted
A belief chanced, lost
The simple words spoken
Honest and gently thought
Fall into a quiet silence
A solitude of reply
To the heart which fought
To believe and chance again
Sits sadly quietly weeping

Heavenly bodies and Nobodies

The penury is the only valuable ornament they wear.
Their far relatives who are in the heaven hoax them in their dreams.
They call these innocents as heathen.
Once in a blue moon they come to the earth with their flickered flying saucers and fly in the face.
This flightless flimsy souls who are penniless and how do they afford the passage to heaven?
They regretted and left behind in the furnace named hell.
