No truth is universal

I could not find a truth
Put forth by seers and prophets
As universally acceptable
Across humans, fauna and flora.

Festival Navarathri

Durga, Lakshmi, Saraswathi
Decked up glittering with litanies
Dining
On the top of nine steps
With their friendly celestials down
Respectively
Accompanying a band of humans
And super-humans, flora and fauna
Environmentally resourceful
Of hill, river, park, play-ground
Amazingly even a city
Neat like the old of new excavation
At a concert of music
Braided long with Jasmine
Draped with silk skirt and saree
Bejewelled
Over a feast of 'Sundal' varieties
Blessing by turn of three each
In nine days
Partying on the tenth, the 'weapon-day'
Over the victorious demon-slaughter
Goddess Mahishasuramarthini ventured

(V - 2009) The Truth of the Truth

The Sages and Seers
That be and have been
Cannot have seen
The truth of the Truth!

What they see as Truth
Is Truth merely
It’s not really
The truth of the Truth!

The Ultimate Truth
Cannot be known
We aren’t that grown –
The truth of the Truth!

We’re part of the Truth
We’re trying to see
We’re yet so tiny –
The truth of the Truth!

Though hard and great
The pains we give
We cannot outlive
The truth of the Truth!

What’s Truth to you once
Remains not the same
So changing the game –
The truth of the Truth!

What’s Truth to a man
Is not Truth to all
That’s what we call
The truth of the Truth!

These thoughts as I pen
It’s Truth to me
It’s to me only
The truth of the Truth!

Injustice is triumphant

Robes show us men as seers.
There are seers without robes.
The world sees men by robes.
Injustice is triumphant

The praisers

You might not spot them in a crowd –
but for that certain stillness of the self-contained:

in conversation, not until some detail
of an action, person, or a deed
sparks their mind; then from their heart -
not, pours – but rather, in a fine, fine stream
of exquisite precision, flows - their praise:

as if their whole self gives itself to you
in some new form of thought, in which
there is no longer, they and you –
you are united in exalted praise;

and their eye shines – inviting you to join
a world above: perhaps they sum the virtue
of a person, action, deed; and yet,
while they are speaking, praise is seated there
above the virtues; they are prophets, seers,
visionaries of that which in our praise, we are..

and perhaps, you try to join them in your speech –
how awkwardly praise sits upon your tongue!
you, who prided so yourself, a balanced judge
of all your fellow humans…find yourself
now at some sad and puny tongue-tied loss..

so, practise, in ourselves, a year or two –
(there’s silent praise – the eye gives that away…)
and praise the praiseful in their mighty work:
another world awaits: where we become
the prophets of ourselves in timeless life.

TABLET

Mountain tablet, steep protective sides,
Above savannah security provides,
Green pastures, flora, fauna, stretch below,
Imagination catalyzed may flow
Creatively, seek what horizon hides.
Maybe lost world jurassic here abides.

Living Things

I live among the world’s animals,
Unlike them, I stare and gaze at the stars;
I love the animals inhabiting this planet
Like the stars that shine in the galaxy.

The crust is seething of dead animals,
Organisms grow from the deaths and lives,
They musically play, swallow their prey,
Live with each other like humans.

The Earth never complains of the treatment
Given to certain living things,
Flora or fauna,
Young or old.

Socrates

I decided that it was not wisdom that enabled [poets] to write their poetry, but a kind of instinct or inspiration, such as you find in seers and prophets who deliver all their sublime messages without knowing in the least what they mean.

A Prophet’s Zeal

The prophets are men of astonishing zeal,
Greatness reigns over their souls, so much meal.
Every prophet guarantees the result, the last day,
Professing special causes, leaning on shoulders.
Once war arises their brightness looms with divine light,
This action, this compulsion, and this pain, utters a sight.
Once they are seen, war erupts from the mountains too high,
And lava that is human flesh. Humans are troops, humans are!
When aid is given to the masses, prophets partake in conquest,
For their souls are no longer tested by the heads of government.

To Digress The Law

How long will this be in the heart of the prophets?
For the prophets who prophesy lies are still around my people;
And i have seen them making up schemes to digress the law,
And devising a plan to dissuade my people! !
How long shall this be?
Yet still, they say that all is well;
And where are the ethics of my people? !
For the false prophets around have captured their minds.
Positive is the way ahead and truth is beautiful,
But for the lack of knowledge my people perish in your hands;
And the whole world is deceived as at now,
But these false prophets say that all is well.
We are now in the state of dilemma without control,
But blessed is the one whose eyes do see;
So chisel out the tablets and tell them the truth,
For how long shall they lead my people in the dark? !
The truth is always beside us if only if we will look around for it,
And it is like the muse of my love in the land of peace;
So be very wise on this earth before it is too late,
For not all that glitters around you is gold.

Lily Of The West

When first I came to louisville, some pleasure there to find
A damsel there from lexington was pleasing to my mind
Her rosy cheeks, her ruby lips, like arrows pierced my breast
And the name she bore was flora, the lily of the west.
I courted lovely flora some pleasure for to find
But she turned unto another man whose sore distressed my mind
She robbed me of my liberty, deprived me of my rest
Then go, my lovely flora, the lily of the west.
Away down in yonder shady grove, a man of high degree
Conversin with my flora there, it seemed so strange to me
And the answer that she gave to him it sore did me oppress
I was betrayed by flora, the lily of the west.
I stepped up my rival, dagger in my hand
I seized him by the collar, and bodly made him stand
Seing mad by desperation I pierced him to the breast
All this for lovely flora, the lily of the west.
I had to stand my trial, I had to make my plea
They placed me in the witness box and then commenced on me
Although she swore my life away, deprived me of my rest
Still I love my faithless flora, the lily of the west.

Noted By All

The truth,
Written by the Inspired Prophets of Yahweh!
And, you can find the truth in the Holy Scriptures.

The truth,
All together,
In your Scriptures,
Closer to you;
But, you are now being led by Satan! !
And, your ways are noted by all.

Summer Scenario

The splotchy blot of the yonder eastern sky
So cooling piercing the grey
Bewitching its aesthetic orange
Empowering its blue sprawled
But fallacious, fallacious
In mid-day of its white bright..

Ogreish, throwing a volley of invisible ammunition
Scorched up feasting on the fauna
Horrendous combusting the flora
Ferocious quench of its thirst
Atrociously impinging the nearby Indian ocean
Entering steaming into homes
Devastatingly beating humans down to sweat-streams

Leaving everyone to feel on edge
Departs in diminished grey, black, dark, night
Lingering on.. its fiery menace fully swung
Farther twinklings pacify crooning 'don't worry'

Zoo in the Man!

Flora & Fauna
Seems to be a jungle?
Blood river flows
Stream like nerves
Run all over the puffed body.
In the mysterious brain
Elephant, Lion, Tiger
And all the animals rest.
If this bourgeois Man can live
Like a deer or a rabbit
Then no more unnecessary Wars
But he does for others need?
