World Today
I like the world today
I like the world today
I like the world today
I like the world today
I like the world today
I like the world today
I like it when it's green
I like the world today
I like the world today
Oh what a hell of a price
What a hell of a price
But sometimes it's mean as hell
But sometimes

People Talk Of Love...
In today's world of greed,
In today's world of fraud,
In today's world of broken relations,
People talk of true love.
In today's world of materialism,
In today's world of selfishness,
In today's world of distress,
People talk of true love.
In today's world of mishappenings,
In today's world of misunderstandings,
In today's world of one- night stands,
People talk of true love.
People have the right to love;
If they honour the values and culture.
People have the right to love;
If they know the need of each other.
and people have the right to love
If they have faith that one day they 'll be together.

In this world of today
In this world of today
Youths fight
Adults shout
Children run and lie about
In this world of today
Kids are dying
Men are fighting
But we don't hear them crying
In this world of today
News reports talk s***
But what if they lived it
Maybe they would see
In this world of today
They lie to our face
They say its ok but we know it's a race
But what if we all took it at a steady pace
In this world today
We don't know what to say
But we keep up the fight
Protest with riots cause we want all our rights

Different Worlds
Time and tide,
Are the dreams that come and go,
They wait for no man on the shore.
Should you step,
In the same dark river twice,
Let it wash the sins away,
Is there time at hand,
With so much to say?
And I know, its a different world today,
And I know, to another God we pray,
And I know, were in different worlds today.
Here I stand,
My philosophy held high,
Like a preacher in a foreign land.
And here we walk,
In the wilderness of sands,
With the prophet and the holy man.
Is there time at hand,
With so much to say?
And I know, its a different world today,
And I know, to another God we pray,
And I know, were in different worlds today,
And I know, its a different world today.
Theyre burning the book, theyre burning the faith,
Our dream will be over,
Lets wake from the sleep, a legion well be,
To live forever.
I know I as wrong, I have to put it right,
I just cant let it slip away,
cause its a different world today.
Different world, different world, different world today,
Is it a better world today?

Last Card
Today
I died
A thousand deaths
Today
The world
Stops spinning
Today
My heart bleeds
In crucial pain
Today
I lost
My last card
Today
I cried
My last tears
Today
I heard
My last voice
Today
I sang
My last song
Today
My last hope
Ceased to dwell
Today
I mourned
My own funeral

Trust no one but yourself!
Who Can You Trust?
Who Can you trust in the world today?
Your friends?
They'll be just as trifling as your enemy
When you are stuck at a dead end
Who can you trust in the world today?
Your blood?
Blood is thicker than water
Don't let this be your rule
By this same rule was I fooled.
Who can you trust in the world today?
Your instructors?
Their job is to teach not to care
Your problems will appear just as thin as air.
Who can you trust in the world today?
Those who inforce and carry out the law?
This is where the world tears
They should be the ones we fear
Who can your trust in the world today?
Don't put your emotions up on a shelf
Trust no one but yourself!

Today
There has been a day like today
But a fresh new day is today
It is a unique day today
It is wide open today
All the answers for our questions has today
Let us dream today
Let us laugh today
Let us share our love today
Let us express our greatness today
Let us trade many a yesterday for today
Let us perform our tasks today
Let us make it a magnificent today
Let us thank God for giving life today
Let us thank God for seeing His creations today
Let us love most about today
A golden day is today
For it is a fact today
It has arrived today!

Today and Tonight
Today you have long day.
Tonight you have long night.
Today you have something to do.
Tonight you have done something.
Today you don't know why.
Tonight you knew why.
Today you face the shine.
Tonight you face the dark.
Today you holding on.
Tonight you missing.
Today you drive along the way.
Tonight you drive yourself crazy.
Today you should love.
Tonight you shouldn't love.
Today you thought you see nothing.
Tonight you thought you'd seen everything.
Today you are somebody.
Tonight you are shadow.
Today you are lazy lover.
Tonight you are dream lover.
Today you are in real world.
Tonight you are in secret world.
Today you wish.
Tonight you would.
Today you want someone you like.
Tonight you want your love.
Today you have the sun.
Tonight you have the stars.
Today let it flow like no tomorrow.
Tonight let it be sweet memories.
Maybe Today
Maybe today
Maybe tomorrow
Maybe someday
Things shall be any different
Than they are today
Maybe today the moon shall smile
Maybe today the world will dance
To the music and rhythm of yesterday’s drums
Maybe today our visions will rise to its Zenith
Maybe today we shall walk on the wire of our purest imaginations
Maybe today is all we have to become the architects of our fate
Maybe today is the perfect time to make peace
Maybe today is the best day chosen to forgive and let go
Maybe today is the time to be better people than we were yesterday
Maybe today is the best day to say ”AM SORRY”
Maybe today is the day to climb the highest mountain of purpose.
Who knows what tomorrow has in store?

Today's Gone...
*****************
Today's Gone
*****************
Today's gone,
Its gone with the wind,
I don't know where its gone...
But today's gone!
I don't know where i m going,
For all i know to be left alone,
Today's Gone,
Its Gone with the wind...
I took a walk on lonely road,
To where the heart wants,
Today's gone,
Its gone with the wind...
Heart sings the tune,
It feels like June,
Today's gone,
It's gone with the wind...
Rock on, they 're all gone,
The Hendrix, Cobain and Page,
Today's gone,
It's gone with the wind...
'Imagine there's no countries' said John,
Wish the terrorism from the world is withdrawn,
Today's gone,
It's gone with the wind..
'Nothing Else Matters'; Says Met,
Strum the Guitar and play the frets,
For Today's gone,
It's gone with the wind...
I got something to say,
It was wonderful day today,
Today's gone,
Its gone with the wind...

Is Today the Day
Is today the day
we tell Satan flee
is today the day
we will be free
Is today the day
we curl and run
is today the day
we use that gun
Is today the day
much like before
Is today the day
to close the door
Is today the day
the walls come down
Is today the day
we will abound
Is today the day
we ask Jesus in
Is today the day
life begins again
Is today the day
we help a friend
is today the day
Will we let Him in

Today...
Today, the leaves were greener
Today, the sky wasn’t grey
Today, the sun was brighter
Yes, it changed today
Today, people transformed
Today, they weren’t rude
Today, I felt loved
All just today, it’s true
Today, I lived for today
Today, was not for the future
Today, was a great day
Not menial, tiring, brutal
Today, I laughed in silence
Today didn’t make me cry
Today, everything became clearer
But, today, I couldn’t figure out why
And today, if everything changed
And today, if it wasn’t a dream
I don’t know what happened
But today will become everyday, it seems.

I paid upon my life today
I plead upon my life today
I frowned upon my life today
I flew upon my life today
I smoked upon my life today
I shitted upon my life today

I prayed upon my life today.

Affirmations(2002-2004)
Today, I will get up before my alarm
Today, I won't close my eyes until dusk
Today, I will not get a speeding ticket
Today, I will count this day as a first
Today, I will enjoy the life that has been left to me
Today, I won't frown over the may-have-beens
Today, I won't cry over the should-have-beens
Today, I won't wonder about the could-have-beens
Today, I'll smile.......Today, I'll Laugh.... Today, I'll relax
Today, I won't feel alone because I don't see you
Today, I'll find something new that wasn't true of you
Today, I won't be afraid to look upon a new face
Today, I'll step up and take my place
Today, I won't think about what I've lost
Today, I'll look forward instead of behind
Today, I'll find some piece of mind
Today, I'll hope.... Today, I'll pray... Today, I'll believe
Today, I'll dream as if I always did
Today, I'll wish on a star the way I used to
Today, I'll reach for the heavens and sigh
Today, My heart will start to heal
Today, the biggest miracle is ME.
Today, Yesterday's problems ceased to be
Today, the rain has stopped and the sun has returned
Today, the breath of kindness is found in words
Today, I wonder.... Today, I am a child.

Today I rule the world,
but no one knows it yet,
no one knows but I do,
becouse today I rule this world of ours,
becouse,
becouse....
I'll send you away,
if you get in my way,
today,

I rule this world...
And theres nothing you can do,
nothing.
Today I rule the world,
becouse,
becouse,
today I've got you're heart around my neck.
Today I've got the upper hand...

It is a New Day
Today is a new day
today is a new life
today, yes today is a special day
it never has occurred before
the sun light cast on today is ancient
the words I will speak will be for the first time, today
The air I breath is new today
the aches are new as well
the feelings are new today
my cats meow is new today
todays lunch I have is new
the thoughts I think are new today
the life I live today is new
indeed today is a new day

Today; Tomorrow
Today
It’s been five years since I have heard your voice.
Today
It’s been five years since I have heard your laugh.
Today
It’s been five years since I have seen your smile.
Today
Is the saddest day for me.
Today
I still remember like it was yesterday.
Today
I feel numb just like how I felt five years ago.
Today
I can still remember how I ran and didn’t want to stop.
Today
I still feel the emptiness of knowing I won’t ever see you again.
Today
I try and smile for you knowing that you are watching over me.
Today
I let my tears roll down slowly down my cheeks.
Today
I remember how you were so happy to be home.
Today
I still know that you didn’t have to suffer no more.
Today
I still try hard not to blame myself why you left my world.
Today
I sit here and remember the memories I have of you.
But tomorrow
I will still smile for you.

This World Today
Maurice white, wade flemmons & don whitehead
In this new world
The world of today
Now you might think
That the world has changed
But boy meets girl
Same as before
And they vow their love forever more
In this world today.
In this new world
Of troubled times
Just you look back
And Im sure youll find
Man fighting man
For no cause at all
And though it is wrong
The fighting goes on
In this world today.
Why do you say
Were in a different bag
When all the things you did
Were just as bad.
In this new world
Of suffering
Love, peace of mind
Should be our thing
Let man join hands
The old and the young
And let every heart
Now beat as one
In this world today.
Love, peace of mind should be our thing
Love, peace of mind should be our thing
Love, peace of mind should be our thing.

Just for today...
Just for today I will start my day the right way
Just for today I will pray on my knees
Just for today I will be thankful for all my treasures
Just for today I will lean more into His understanding.
Just for today I will be confidant and share my heart
Just for today I will not be afraid
Just for today I will Love myself unconditionally
just for today I will extend grace to all I know.
Just for today I will be BOLD and Courageous
Just for today I will share my hopes and dreams
Just for today I will listen to others as well...
and just for today I will help others succeed.
Just for today I will accept myself for who I am
Just for today I will work on my gifts...and
Just for today I will extend a hand to a fellow man
Just for today I will know God put me on this earth to Give.
