My transfer brought her to my lip.
Her transfer wrought me a slip.
Can Cupid’s hand extend a grip?
Apricot, when will you be ripe?

No Matter How Outsiders May Look At It

I've done the best I could.
But no matter how outsiders may look at it,
To say what I did or did not do for anyone else.
There are some things I am still unable to do!
With an awakening done to realize,
What it is I 'can' prioritize.

I can not transfer over to another,
My motivation.
I can not transfer over to another,
My devotion and discipline.
I can not transfer over to another,
Reason and purpose with a drive to accomplish.
I can not transfer over to another,
An ability to wait patiently while sacrificing time.
I can not transfer over to another,
The pain that is felt when someone else...
Has time to criticize AND character assassinate,
My efforts and abilities I had volunteered in the past...
With a deception that is effortless.
And for them convenient to ensure its effectiveness.
To be able to survive,
Dancing through that kind of ammunition...
Is a miracle of God's I can not re-create.

And...
Do I seek to abandon my peace of mind,
I was blessed to find while recovering from exhaustion...
And diseases that came to feed on me as if I was a treat?
I'll give you a hint.
Get out of my face!
Go solicit your act of 'Together We Are Stronger If We Unify'...
Somewhere else.
I am 'still' a work -in-progress trying to associate forgiveness,
With a forgetting I can not seem to be able to eliminate.

But...
One never knows what the future holds!
Does one?

How To Make Money

how to make money,
baby;
how to make money;
tell me sweet love
you tell me
how to make money
how to make an easy billion

the world’s full of it
in cyberspace
and in shopping malls;
the world’s full of money schemes
in our real world
and where we buy a drink
or get more fries

it’s full on
about how to make money,
baby;
how to make money

make money, pal
they say
doing nothing;
I’ve got an auto system
and all you need is internet
and all you’ve got to do
is sit back and let the dollars roll
into your bank account

so tell me
how to make money,
baby;
how to make money

come in to this meeting
another group says
and we’ll show you how
show you how easy it is
how easy it is to make money:
it’s auto, auto, auto, fully automated
and the money keeps coming;
the money rolls
rolls in, rolls in, rolls in

tell me
how to make money,
baby;
how to make money

it’s all so easy
because we want
you to enjoy the life
we’ve earned;
we’ve made our money
and we want you to share
in the happiness;
it’s all so easy, dear friends –
we’ll guide you each step of the way;
we’ll show you how to make the money

so they’ll tell us
how to make money,
baby;
how to make money:
the only thing is
what they mean is
how to make money for them, babe,
how to make money for them
with a simple transfer of money
transfer of money, transfer of money
transfer of money from the foolish
transfer of money from the foolish to the deceitful;
wealth is, dear darling,
wealth is the transfer of money
from the foolish to the cunning

how to make money,
baby;
how to make money;
tell me sweet love
you tell me
how to make money
how to make an easy billion

Transfer

Can promise friendship fresh personnifies
transfer from level ground to penthouse steep,
skim surface whim, or [b]rim vast wave as deep
and high as a tsunami which defies
all in its path, searching to emphasize
emotions' drive, all obstacles must leap?
Will [n]one these words recall or shall both keep
in heart and soul a part? the whole? though flies
Fate’s double hand whose grim date none denies
although some days may snail-trail, seem to creep
unwilling to their one-way dungeon keep?
Is one alone, or may two empathize?
Is this base transfer case, or skein once sown
on which two dangle while Time’s scythe rusts prone?

Get A Grip

I see it on the tv, its playing on my mind,
Everything I see has got something to do with killing my brother.
Just another mind game? or maybe its a sign,
When the child with a gun holds it up to the head of his brother.
Well that aint nice. gotta get a grip, gotta get a hold on life,
Gotta get a grip cause youre gonna slip, yeah.
Somebody tell me, where did we lose?
Wheres the point that we lost the control to live with each other?
Mister politician, searching for a lie.
Whats the truth? will the youth find the proof for a revolution?
Cause that aint nice, gotta get a grip, gotta get a hold on life
Gotta get a grip cause youre gonna slip, on ice,
Gotta get a grip, gotta get a hold on life
Gotta get a grip cause youre gonna slip
Gotta get a hold of the situation, gotta get you into my life,
Gotta get a hold and get it moving.
I cant tell you what you need to know its up to you, oh yeah
That aint nice, gotta get a grip, gotta get a hold on life
Gotta get a grip, cause youre gonna slip, on ice,
Gotta get a grip, gotta get a hold on life
Gotta get a grip cause youre gonna slip.
Gotta get a hold of the situation, gotta get a hold on life,
Gotta get a grip and get it moving,
I cant tell you what you need to know, its up to you, oh yeah.
Dont your blood run cold, dont the sorrow show,
Hold on tight to what you have.
See it in your eyes, dont it make you cry,
Get a grip and shake the can.
Get a grip, yeah, get a grip, yeah, get a grip, yeah,
Get a grip, get a grip, get a grip, get a grip, get a hold.
Get a grip on life, get a grip on life, get a grip on life,
Yeah get a grip.

Why Aren't You

Why aren't you walking in the Sun,
To...
Beam your radiance.
And...
Transfer your energy,
To me.

Why...
Aren't you,
Walking in the Sun.
To...
Beam your radiance.
And...
Transfer your energy,
To me.

Why...
Aren't you,
Walking in the Sun.
To...
Beam your radiance.
And...
Transfer your energy to me.

Why...
Aren't you,
Walking in the Sun.
To...
Put some breeze in the heat.
To...
Put your scent in the air,
To supply it with your sweetness.

Why aren't you walking in the Sun,
To...
Beam your radiance.
And...
Transfer your energy,
To me.

Why...
Aren't you,
Walking in the Sun.
To...
Beam your radiance.
And...
Transfer your energy,
To me.

Why...
Aren't you,
Walking in the Sun.
To...
Put some breeze in heat.
To...
Put your scent in the air,
To supply it with your sweetness.

Why aren't you,
Walking in the rays of the Sun.
And why aren't you,
Getting to you what comes.

Why aren't you,
Walking in the rays of the Sun.
And why aren't you,
Getting to you what comes.

And why aren't you,
Walking in the rays of the Sun.

And why aren't you,
Walking in the rays of the Sun.

And why aren't you,
Getting to you what comes.

And why aren't you,
Getting to you what comes.

And why aren't you,
Walking in the rays of the Sun.

The Story of Uriah

Jack Barrett went to Quetta
Because they told him to.
He left his wife at Simla
On three-fourths his monthly screw.
Jack Barrett died at Quetta
Ere the next month's pay he drew.

Jack Barrett went to Quetta.
He didn't understand
The reason of his transfer
From the pleasant mountain-land.
The season was September,
And it killed him out of hand.

Jack Barrett went to Quetta
And there gave up the ghost,
Attempting two men's duty
In that very healthy post;
And Mrs. Barrett mourned for him
Five lively months at most.

Jack Barrett's bones at Quetta
Enjoy profound repose;
But I shouldn't be astonished
If now his spirit knows
The reason of his transfer
From the Himalayan snows.

And, when the Last Great Bugle Call
Adown the Hurnai throbs,
And the last grim joke is entered
In the big black Book of Jobs.
And Quetta graveyards give again
Their victims to the air,
I shouldn't like to be the man
Who sent Jack Barrett there.

Sense her pretense.

She never spells it out
When she falls in love
As she cannot spill it out.
You have to smell it out.
She likes to advance
Without being in advance.
The silence is a license.
She impersonates a sleep walker.
When she does so you slip with her.
Her moves are tacit.
Pretext is her whip.
Handle her; you will conquer.

Woman’s pity

As a puppy is put to love the master
When she is brought from her mother,
Even so is the woman from her parents.

As a cow is free to follow the cowherd
When she is let out from the cowshed,
Even so is the housewife from her yard.

As a hen is set to ignore the cock
When she hatched her chicks,
Even so is the mother with her kids.

Love is a trade.

When a man is landed up
with a woman of fortune,
to wed her, he is haste
lest some one should usurp.
When he has the upper hand
he is quick for her flesh,
With wedding not in card,
himself not in confidence.

Love is a trade
and is bought by fraud.

The unnoticed travel

She spoke to me but not with words.
She saw me but not with glance.
We were not there to the crowd.
We were aware in a trance.

I spoke to her without a nod.
I stared at her, keeping a distance.
An iota of doubt, no one had.
So subtle, our love is not a disturbance.

Hand in glove
is our love.
It embarrasses
none of us.
