Desire has no merits
To relish your ballet,
I need not be a poet;
To enjoy your melody,
I need not be a vocalist;
To watch your steps,
No need I am a dancer.
I go after you, Apsaras,
Though I am not an Indra.

Apsara
apsara, the first of them i saw
were trapped on the angkor wall
three hundred years of cold storage
with their blossoming bosom
that could carry your eyes through
a prism of pleasures given only
to the mighty kings who once lived here
so lonely they stood now in all the corridors
they sent shivers down my spine
apsara, the second time i saw them
was in the cultural theatre in seam reap
fair skinned ravishing damsels with voluptuous
physiques and high octaved songs lifting
the spirits of those from near and afar
they were children of old apsaras, nymphs who
nearly had their wings clipped by revolutionaries
but peservered to keep the steps of their triumphs alive
so that young apsaras can be born and stand tall on
mount meru again, churning the milk of creation
and sing their heart's content night after night
their costumes and dance steps were luxuriant, their
hands and finger graceful as butterflies, setting them
apart from the Thais and Malay dancers
the third time, i saw the apsaras was at the Cham
Museum of Sculptures in Danang, fragments of an
enchanting and glorious past that had been torn apart, torn apart
like the temple stones, altars and pillars where apsaras struggled
to glimpse at the world, their voluptuous physique and bosom entrancing as ever

Message Ethereal...Part 1
Note: These poem excerpts are my independent works based on the story material of the Sanskrit poetic work ‘Megha Dhootham’(Cloud Messenger) by Poet Great Kaali Daasa- 5th centuary AD
1
O worthy Cloud! I bow to thee;
Bestow your eyes on this hapless me,
On this Yaksha* unlucky;
I am standing on my weakened feet,
In front of my hermitage, down this valley
2
My master, Kubera* the lord of wealth
Has expelled me from heaven
For my accused negligence to duty;
Accused I was, I pampered my spouse
Failing to fall in time for my lord’s service;
I bear his wrath; am in exile now on earth
In this Ramgiri* for one full seasonal cycle
Unfortunate I am, left to live alone,
Separated from my beloved young wife...
3
Was it a crime? You tell me
For someone as youthful as me
If allotted his time his heart
More to his beloved new bride?
They are lords their words are rules
They enjoy all the celestial bliss,
Despite having their own Devi*
They share shamelessly the Apsaras* girls;
O virtuous Cloud! I salute thee,
Tell me who have more sinned now?
They or the poor servants like me?
4
^O Cloud, you mighty and dark,
As if a tusker in *madh,
Butting against a mountain bank,
You appear high on the *Aashaad awaiting sky,
Full of water virile, of life;
You arouse my desires my lust
You rekindle my enthusiasm the fire inside;
What if my armlets
Have slipped down my forearms
Weakened by the sustained blows of parting?
I pray to you, may you carry my message of love,
My feelings, in the distance to my grief stricken wife...

Tiny Dancer
tiny dancer, dance for me
take away every dream and memory
trick me into believing everything is fine
dance til this rain turns to sunshine
as i watch you in my hand
...heal with with your beautiful dance
tiny dancer take me away
show me the way with your ballet
dance until my heart stops bleeding
kiss these wounds so they'll stop leaking
......now shes in me, always with me, tiny dancer in my hand
she dances with her heart and soul just so i can stand

Man’s itch
Flowers are there to see and enjoy.
Flowers are there to smell and enjoy.
Women are there to gaze and relish.
Women are there to love and desire.
Man’s itch to crush woman is still there.

The life of a dancer is tragically short. What is remarkable about the New York City Ballet is that it makes us forget that. Because it keeps the ballet alive.

The Poet's Bride
The poet's bride is a beautiful women
And she is looking so beautiful in her purple wedding dress
But the weather was beautiful
And they were very lucky
But at 12: 00 pm on that they the poet married his bride
Which was his wife to be
And now I had finaly a family again
Which I was looking forward too
We also got beautiful wedding gifts
So we were very blessed by God I believed
My father in law was a man that was 69years old I believe
And my mother was a women that was at least 73 years old I believe

The Melody Of Love
The melody of love!
It's such a beautiful moment!
When loving eyes meet,
The words you don't need.
The lightning sparks the hearts,
The holy union starts.
The melody of love was born.
The whole land it would adorn.
It's divinely beautiful,
It's graceful and faithful.
It's virgin pure,
It's impossible to reassure.
Its gusts are noble,
It's just youthful.
For two the nightingale sings,
For two God brings wings
And join their hearts.
For two a new life starts.
The melody of love!
It's just a tender touch.
It's beautiful as such.
It's beautiful in a dance,
It's beautiful in a sincere glance.
The melody of love!
It's in a tender kiss,
In tremulous words you miss.
It's the unit of two worlds
Swirled in one tight node,
No one knows its code.
The melody of love!
Hearts are filled with happiness,
Souls know only kindness,
There is no strength to part,
It's so light on the heart.
The melody of love!

My background is somewhat unusual, as I trained to be a ballet dancer. I worked in the theatre for eight or nine years as a contemporary dancer. But as an actor one does read Shakespeare and does try to learn the classics.

Poem about Poetry - Flowers, the poetry maestros
hey poets, if you wish to excel
learn from the flowers
the lotuses, the roses, crocuses,
the sunflowers, geraniums
humble violets and morning glories
and all the colourful blooms
how they tenderly begin
their poetic dance at dawn
petal by petal to reveal
their exquisite selves
pistils, filamens, pollen, stamens,
and bulbs so precise
and technically executed
to chart nature's wonder
you need the best ballet dancer,
poet, to challenge their heavenly skills
every step, every move, manoevring
this heart to bloom in full admiration

The Dancer
The picture hangs upon the wall
of a slender woman, une eleve
She is eternally en pointe
a Student of great Nurerev.
With Martha Graham’s Corps de ballet
She’d danced (before the children came)
Performed a beautiful Glissade-
enjoyed, for a while, a muted fame.
Light and shade proportionate
here catch her look of radiant joy
The dancer, ignorant of her fate,
seems more a heavenly envoy.
But you and I both know the rest-
The ravages of age and time
The sad result of little strokes
that slow the step and cloud the mind.
Here is her cane, her walker too
Their owner has succumbed to age
There will not be a pas de deux
Nor bouquets tossed upon the stage.

I Wish I Was A Heavenly Angel
I wish I was a heavenly angel
For I would watch and protect mankind
But I am no heavenly angel
Hence must play in my own kind
I wish I was a heavenly angel
For I would pray for those in sorrow
But I am no heavenly angel
Hence must suffer the torment of borrow
I wish I was a heavenly angel
For I would worship my god day and night
But I am no heavenly angel
Hence must fight for my own right
I wish I was a heavenly angel
For I would always cling to my sword
But I am no heavenly angel
Hence must fight the pain of my fault
I wish I was a heavenly angel
For I would never no tiredness
But I am no heavenly angel
Hence must till the land to grow in abundance
I wish I was a heavenly angel
For I would weep when man sin
But I am no heavenly angel
Hence must pray for my own sin so dire
I wish I was a heavenly angel
For I would shore endlessly in space
But I am no heavenly angel
Hence must check as I walk in pace
I wish I was a heavenly angel
For I would wonder around this world free
But I am no heavenly angel
Hence must stand still as a tree
I wish I was a heavenly angel
For my heart shall always be in joy
But I am no heavenly angel
Hence must behave just like a boy

The Melody Of My Heart
my heart is on the rise
and fall
my heart's melody is as nice
than all
like the leaves
on the tree by the river
my heart is a melody
to the birds of love,
life and all that worth
as i walked the earth
with the melody
of my heart from then
and sang to my heart a melody
i explore an adventure
of the melody in my heart
and art a melody of my heart
with fingers dancing to the heart
my veins rain with melody of the heart
i feel the heart
in talk and melody
and that melody
is the melody
of my heart
my heart is a melody
to the words of a rhythm
its music from the heart
a melody of emotions,
feelings, love and death
...after all,
it is the melody of my heart

Dancer
Im not invited to the party
Been sitting here all night
Im all alone here at the party
Aint got no black coat
Aint got no tie
I gotta shape up now
You gotto know why
Dancer, dancer
I cant live with it Im gonna die without it
Dancer, dancer
Aint no doubt about it
Dancer, dancer
Why dont you kick off your dancing shoes
And come along with me
Youre the life and soul of the funk-tion
It took me all night
To get hold of the right introduction
Blew me out of sight
I taste your lipstick
I look in your eyes
You feel fantastic
My body cries
(chorus)
(hot space)
Dancer, dancer
I cant believe your dancing
Cant take you home, cant take your dancing
Dancer, dancer, dance the night away

Ballet Of Lips
BALLET OF LIPS
esspeecee [21.03.09.]
Your lips…
Wanting. What?
To say
Rose buds…
Oh dear
Bloom for us.
Your lips
Saying go not
In stealth
O Rose buds
We’re for your
Blooming blush.
Your lips
Waiting to
Murmur the
Subtle melody
Of just bloomed
O you
Rose bud.
When lips make
Ballet movements
Singing in chorus
With melody of
Music of fragrance
O you
Rose bud.
Let me stand
Like a trunkless rock
On me the rose tree
And your subtle
Foot prints
I’ll embosom
O you - Rose bud
Oh you - Of yours.

We've had a problem finding a vocalist. We have not been lucky yet to find the one. I think the problem is that the three of us have such a pedigree of vocalist, that if we come out with someone that's not good we'll obviously be slated!

Republic Day Vavroovahana Patra
Beauty princess Republic Day appears as a bride adorned with rosy garment;
All people of India enchant with merriment.
All surrender on the feet of freedom fighters, martins;
Living peacefully in freed India content their desire.
Guys and girls, women and men receive the Bride on the altar;
Congratulating the beautiful bride become crazy with pleasure.
Rich and poor enjoy the auspicious day;
Political leaders deliver speech with gay.
With melody people enjoy the august day;
Beautiful girls sing and dance with gay.
The field echoes with enchantment;
All people enjoy with merriement.
Fragrance of blossoms and flowers pervades in the environment;
Students of schools and colleges dance with merriment.
Poets, peasants, patriots enjoy the beauty of Republic Day;
Govt. employees enjoy the day with gay.
All remember Gandhiji, Subhash, Uddam and all martyrs;
On their feet offer blossoms and flowers.
Hindus, Christians, Muslims unite on this day;
Sikhs, Buddhists, jainas enjoy the august day with gay.

Being a former dancer, classical dancer, it informed me as a human being just in terms of the grace I guess. Ballet is a very graceful form of art. You also become very aware of your body and your mind and your body is working in conjunction. That kind of helps you in acting as well. It's not only using your mind, it's like making your mind communicate this character into your body so that you can bring it to life and physicalize it.
