Am I not a rascal?
Fortunes to others
Are like misfortune to me.
Misfortunes to others
Are like fortune to me.
Am I not a rascal inwardly?

Fortune Faded
They say in chess you've got to kill the queen
And then you mate it
Oh I? Do you?
A funny thing, a king that gets himself
Assassinated
Hey now, every time I loose
Attitude
You took a town by storm
the mess you made was nominated
Oh I ? Do you?
Now put away your welcome,
Soon you'll find you've overstayed it
Hey now, every time I loose
Attitude
So divine, hell of an elevator,
All the while, my fortune faded,
Never mind the consequences of a crime
is time, my fortunes faded
The medicated state of mind,
You'll find is overrated
Oh I ? Do you?
You saw it all come down and now
Its time to imitate it
Hey now, every time I loose
Attitude
So divine, hell of an elevator,
All the while, my fortune faded,
Never mind the consequences of a crime
is time, my fortunes faded
Come on God, do I seem bulletproof?
So divine, hell of an elevator,
All the while, my fortune faded,
Never mind the consequences of a crime
is time, my fortunes faded
So divine, hell of an elevator,
All the while, my fortune faded,
Never mind the consequences of a crime
is time, my fortunes faded

Good Fortune
They say to celebrate
you should raise a glass or two,
but if you do not drink
that is something hard to do.
Instead, you can toast
by raising a cup of tea
and light several candles
for the more misfortunate
than you,
and then thank god
for bringing good fortune
to you.
Good fortune may not be money
to line your pockets well.
Good fortune might be the joy
of triumphing over adversity,
or it could be
getting over your fears.
Whatever good fortune
means to you.
You must celebrate
with happiness
and share your good fortune
with everyone
you will meet.

Courage, it would seem, is nothing less than the power to overcome danger, misfortune, fear, injustice, while continuing to affirm inwardly that life with all its sorrows is good that everything is meaningful even if in a sense beyond our understanding and that there is always tomorrow.

The unwanted
I have been given good times.
Let me face bad times too.
I have been given successes.
Let me taste failures too.
I have been shown to fortunes.
Let me bear with misfortunes too.
Otherwise, I’m an ungrateful dog.

Do not yield to misfortunes, but advance more boldly to meet them, as your fortune permits you.
Fortune Teller
(neville)
Went to a fortune teller
To have my fortune read
I didnt know what to tell her
I had a dizzy feeling in my head
She took a hold of my palm
She said son you feel kind of warm
And then she looked into a crystal ball
She said youre in love
I said how could that be so
Im not friendly with the girls I know
She said when the next one arrives
You gotta look into her eyes
I left there in a hurry
Looking forward to my big surprise
The next day I discovered
That the fortune teller told me lies
I rushed straight back to that woman
Just as mad as I could be
I said I didnt see nobody
Whyd she made a fool of me
Then something struck me
Like lightning from up above
While looking at the fortune teller
I fell in love
Now Im a happy fella
Im married to the fortune teller
Im as happy as I can be
Now I get my fortunes told for free

No light means no shadow
It is true
That I lost many fortunes,
That I missed many chances
And that I left many ambitions.
It must be true
That I was saved of many misfortunes,
That I was spared of many pitfalls
And that I was left of many traps
That would have interfered with them
Had I succeeded to get them.

Fortune and misfortune are two buckets in a well.
Fortune and misfortune are two buckets in the same well.
An Ill Wind
An ill wind brings no fortune
when it blows your way
and if you see it coming
close up your shudders and boards
and hope it will pass by
leaving you to your own accord.
Be always ever vigilant
for an ill wind
that might just pass your way.
It leaves only misfortunes and misery
we can all do without today.
If you see one on the horizon,
shelter until it has gone away.
As an ill wind brings no fortune
whenever it blows your way.

Fate plays its part.
I shall do: doing is pleasant.
I’ve to do: having done is pleasant.
I’m bound to do; doing is unpleasant.
Fortune strikes: a happy moment.
Fortune skips: an unhappy moment.
Misfortune hits: a bitter moment.
Heaven is not entirely in my hand.
Hell is not entirely my outcome.
