Advice is in vain

Worthy advice is born
Out of one’s experience
No one would follow it
Until one experiences it.

Follow the Wind

Follow the air.
Follow the wind.
Release what you have sinned.

The wind is your savior.
Tell him what happened with
your every behavior.

Follow the air.
Follow the wind.
It will get you out of your every
sin.

Follow the angel.
Follow your God.
It is not very odd.

Follow his words.
Follow his advice.
Eventually, you will be very nice.

The society is stagnant.

I, as a human, am endowed with
An abnormal ability to learn
From the experience of others,
And also with certain disinclination
To follow what I have learnt from theirs.
That is why the society is stagnant.

Man learns through experience, and the spiritual path is full of different kinds of experiences. He will encounter many difficulties and obstacles, and they are the very experiences he needs to encourage and complete the cleansing process.

Wasnt Born To Follow

(gerry goffin / carole king)
Though Id rather go and journey
Where the diamond crescents glowing
Run across the valleys
Beneath the sacred mountain
And wander through the forest
Where the trees of leaves are prisms
That break the light of day into colours
That no-one knows the names of
And when its time
I go and wait beside
A legendary fountain
til I see your form reflected
In its clear and jewelled water
And if you think Im ready
You may lead me to the chasm
Where the rivers of our vision
Flow into one another
And Ill stay awhile
And wonder at
The myths that theyve created
And lose myself within it
Cleanse my mind and body
And I know at the moment
As I stand in that cathedral
I will want to dive in
The white cascading water, water, water
He may beg
And he may plead
He may argue with his logic
He can mention all the things Ill lose
That really have no value
Though I doubt that he will ever come
To understand my meaning
In the end hell surely know
I was not born to follow
I was not born to follow
I wasnt born to follow, no, no
I wasnt born to follow
I wasnt born to follow, no, no
I wasnt born to follow
I wasnt born to follow

Saints and seekers

Saints go preaching.
They have no time to experience.
Seekers go in knowing.
They have no will to experience
The one who experiences
Has scant respects for them.

X’mas

Born was a child in a manger;
Born was the son of God, the Father;
Born was the love of the Maker;
Born was for men, a Redeemer.

Born was a baby boy, a king;
Born was on earth a prophet great;
Born was the love of God in human form;
Born was a Messiah.

Born was a son of a carpenter;
Born was the king of Jews;
Born was the living God as flesh;
Born was a Savior.

Born was a babe, who brought,
Joy and peace to the world;
Born was a babe on a bed of hay,
As angels choirs kept singing on.

Born was the spotless Lamb of God
Who was to die on the cross;
Born was a divine child,
From the Virgin Mary’s womb!

Born was Lord Jesus Christ,
Who paid the price for our sins,
And by His death and resurrection,
Made it possible for sinners too,
To go to Heaven.

If With Truth It Bites

Experiences.
Come to sit within.
What one does with them,
Depends upon the stripping that begins.
To remove that which one knows is untrue.
Deceit for them is not accepted or quickly served.

Experiences can not be exchanged,
For refreshened outlooks to eliminate...
What has been gained.
And perhaps that is the reason,
Those with experience...
Maintain and sustain a growing wisdom.
Many fail to solicit if with truth it bites!

We All Come To Experience 'Our' Truths

We all come to experience 'our' truths.
We all come to experience,
Realities lived others may not accept.
Or come to believe,
If they are not there to witness.
Or see as they sit to observe life pass by,
From a closed window and behind locked doors.

We all experience our own sorrows...
With burdens to bear and struggles to conquer.
And yet there will be some among the 'doubters'...
Who believe nothing happens to anyone but themselves.
And when they experience a pinch of pain to feel,
It becomes worthy of a news broadcast...
To appeal with the getting of attention on their griefs.

We all come to experience 'our' truths.
We all come to experience,
Realities lived others may not accept.
Or come to believe,
If they are not there to witness.
And yet...
Highlighted are the most ridiculous afflictions,
Repeatedly for all to witness close up on TV sets.

Experience, The Best Teacher

When I was a student,
Many a teacher preached a sermon.
A sermon of, surprisingly, same subject.
This tedious theme could be thus summarized:
‘ if I could my student life re-live,
Very differently would I behave'.

A discourse denoting a dirge
A communication connoting a caution
If not a counselling to student who have ears
Students who would not shed tears,
Because they have ears to hear
And wise enough to understand,
Words of wisdom, even few.

But why to us their sermon relate?
Why to us their stories declare?

It is because about our future they care.
Careful, concerned and committed teachers,
Eager their experience to share,
Aware of the facts, glaring,
Facts preserved in an axiom,
The often quoted and tested maxim,
That experience is the best teacher.

Experience is the best teacher,
To those without any experience,
The best teacher is experience shared.
Shared by fair and frank fellows,
Who When good opportunities
Came beggarly begging,
Refused to these opportunities utilise,
Reaping the result of their recklessness, fully
Learning first-hand from their folly,
That opportunity knocks but once,
And once unutilised is lost forever.

But shared experiences meticulously applied,
Will save one the superfluous suffering,
Subsequent from the silly slip-up,
Of turning deaf ears to sermons.
Signifying that total respect to advice,
Plays a crucial role in molding us,
And goes to lend credence
To the usually used saw, that
Experience is the best teacher.

My Other Days

My days are in the other days,
Weeks follow the story of happiness;
For where are the wicked deejays,
Of a madness that exists aimless.

I have adventure in this ageless realm,
Advice is offered by the damned,
And I have refuted the worthy to overwhelm,
As I have refused the leaders who are programmed.

I see a scam that appears to disbelieve
In me as a gentleman of hope and learning,
This will be a thief of heights to relieve
Me in my wonders and joyous admiring.

I Believe / All I Need To Know (medley)

The taxman's in the pocketbook
The pressmen are by the bar
And all the world is at your door
It's strange that you should lock it up
And preach an open heart
But you know what they're waiting for
You can turn your face away now
And don't think twice
I'm just the ordinary guy you used to know
I'm not after your money
Or even your advice
I believe you'll follow me
It's all I need to know
(to walk away)
I was tempted by the devil in this deep blue swimming pool
Until the devils makeup ran..
And my future's in the strangle hold of ever changing rules
I don't intend to understand
You can stop pretending now that I had you fooled
I'm still the ordinary guy you used to know
I'm not after your money
To paralise my soul
I believe you'll follow me
It's all I need to know
Promise me you'll try to understand before I go
(and walk away)
You can turn your face away now
And don't think twice
I'm just the ordinary guy you used to know
I'm not after your money
Or even your advice
I believe you'll follow me
It's all I need to know
Promise me you'll try to understand before I go
All I need to, all I need to, all I need to know
All I need to, all I need to, all I need to know
All I need to, all I need to, all I need to know
All I need to, all I need to, all I need to know
All I need to, all I need to, all I need to know
All I need to, all I need to, all I need to know
All I need to, all I need to, all I need to know

Heaven

Heaven
Lyrics by: Lucy Simon / Carly Simon
I can almost touch the stars
Filling up the night
On their way around the world
They stop their flight
I can see the brightest star
Dazzling in the west
Three wise men follow
With no time for rest
And heaven can't be far
From where we lie
Heaven can't be far
From where we lie
Follow, follow
Pilgrims follow
To see the carpenters' child
Born the king of angels
He is meek and mild
Son of Joseph
Son of Mary
Son of love
He is born
Son of all believers
On this Christmas morn
And heaven can't be far
From where we lie
Heaven can't be far
From where we lie
