What I Think

what i think is what you get
this is all i have
a finger, a thought, a tongue
i can offer you a hand
if you want
if you stay, i can offer you greater
than all these
you may have my body
and if you care for me more than
enough
you can even have my soul
but if you are true more than enough
that you take time
burying me when i die
then i can give you
more than my soul and my body
but you may not like it
so i may ask: won't you take my poetry?

don't laugh, i am a serious writer.

Shake Hands With The Devil

I know some people say that Im the devil in disguise,
I wont try to tell you that I aint.
I dont like believing that Im evil in your eyes,
But I aint make believing Im a saint,
cause Ill do anything I can to win you from the world,
Its something that my senses cant control.
And if thats sin then shake hands with the devil, little girl,
I want your body and your soul.
Chorus:
Shake hands with the devil, dont be frightened, I wont hurt you.
I dont want your silver or your gold.
Im not after anything that you dont want to give me,
I just want your body and your soul.
Other men can offer something peaceful and secure,
I cant offer anything but me.
I can take you higher than youve ever been before
And show you things you never dared to see.
And hand in hand together we can laugh the world away,
Ill keep you from the hunger and the cold.
So let your love come easy, you dont need to be afraid,
I just want your body and your soul.
Chorus:
Shake hands with the devil ...

Body And Soul

rise with me this body of mine
sail with me o' soul of thine
for mine is a matter of time
to mold a body of mine
and have a kind
i prefer, as without me
there is none, and without you
there is no me

send me a sense to my body
o' body of mine
a friend and shadow of mine
without a dime
take me from wrong to conformity
lead me from animosity
unchain my soul from vanity
for mine is a body and soul
detach me from the unknown
shine on me o' body and soul
bring me a blessing to my soul

connect and share with me o' body of mine
laugh and talk with me so fine
run and steady with me so divine
the body of my soul and awhile
take me back to my body as a child
...possibly not! i presume...
if i die, you too die
and there is no more of me then
from whence to the end
for i live(d) with you 'til then

Gyrating

The soul gyrated and swung into crevices
Of sisters and brothers, linking with the word,
The word sprung from the words to offer.
The soul likes you when you offer forgiveness,
Forming a routine of the gutter, and the guts.
Never can the being of the body be disturbed
By longer poems and their likeable material.
The soul gyrates on an abhorrent line,
Making you shrewd and happy with it.
Let this body be beautiful as it burgeons
In ways of the word, as the agility of eternal manners
Becomes absurd to the touch.

Between This Body And This Soul

my body thirsts for water
my soul thirsts for another

my soul immersed my soul entwined
my body grows my soul static as a thought

i shift from one channel to another
body to soul, soul to body,

the body's nature to sin
the soul's quest to heaven

God is in between.

Soul’s relation to body

I love you; who is ‘I’- soul or body?
I won over your heart; you stole my heart.
Heart- do we mean the corporal one?
Soul, the fire, catches the body, the wood.
Soul to soul and body to body, no love sparks.
Soul in body loves soul in body.
Souls or bodies exclusively love not.
Soul and body are not like air and balloon.
Soul and body is like heat and body.

The Unfortunate Soul

Some poor unfortunate soul
towards the end of the day
has made it to my doorstep.
And who am I to say,
that but for a change of circumstance
that soul might have been me.

Do I shut the door and turn my back
or offer what I can?
Now some would say in these dangerous times
that's the better plan.
But I, who was taught while growing up
that to fear is a coward's way
offer this soul a helping hand
and pray that if some day
I should be the unfortunate soul
to face a time of woe
that they will harbor friendship to
the one with no place to go.

Death is a divorce

Death is a divorce.
The soul and the body are separated.
The soul escapes; the body decays.
Who is the cause: the soul or the body?
‘It is the body’, accuses the soul,
‘As it went unfit.’ ‘It is the soul’
Reprimands the body, ‘which found me stale.’
Who is the male: the soul or the body?
‘Male is the body’ complains the soul,
‘In whose home I entered as a bride.’
‘Male is the soul’ retorts the body,
‘Who deserted me to seek the other.’

Death is the divorce,
Where both separate.

I Sell My Soul

“My soul and body for sale “
Offer from fish to a big whale,
When saw a big danger face went pale,
But indeed plain truth and not simple tale,

I can’t grow any more,
Nor can I protect in downpour,
Never faced worst ever this before,
Broken at heart and body lay tore,

I may not offer or even fight,
Find no candle even there no light,
Situation may be worse or even tight,
Worries may be more solution not in sight,

Tough it prove life may prove hard,
Can’t keep it away or off may ward,
Still it may remain, close I may eyes,
Nor it may vanish even I make byes,

I may boost big and promise tall make,
Handle it with ease and eat like cake,
Shaken from within when face rough,
Resolve may shrink when task find tough,

Still I may not relent, and also lament,
But loose I may ground and offer no comment,
I may collect thread and wave it neat,
Try to project success and excellent feat,

Had it been in reach, I may hold good,
Last I may more even without food,
But alas! I am gone and face defeat,
I may loose ground and may retreat,

Still I may hold firm and loose not grip,
Dark may not deter even light may trip,
I still stand fast and put brave front,
Odd may not give in I may more confront,

But as I said I just cave in,
Future lay barren and I shatter within,
I can’t offer more than body and soul,
Life proved hard and I feel foul,

So do I offer soul and body sale,
Story may not find well with male,
But it may find favour and also flavour,
I may keep it low but it will clamour

For literature sake.

When the body ages, does the soul do?
When the body gets wounds, does the soul suffer?
Are body and soul like sac and air?
Not so obviously.
Are body and soul like flesh and heat?
Might be.
Does not soul die when body dies, then?
Heart is not the seat of emotion, but brain.
Soul is not distinct to be treated so.
Yet soul is distinct for literature sake.

Care for Thy Soul as Thing of Greatest Price

Care for thy soul as thing of greatest price,
Made to the end to taste of power divine,
Devoid of guilt, abhorring sin and vice,
Apt by God's grace to virtue to incline.
Care for it so as by thy retchless train
It be not brought to taste eternal pain.

Care for thy corse, but chiefly for soul's sake;
Cut off excess, sustaining food is best;
To vanquish pride but comely clothing take;
Seek after skill, deep ignorance detest.
Care so, I say, the flesh to feed and clothe
That thou harm not thy soul and body both.

Care for the world to do thy body right;
Rack not thy wit to win thy wicked ways;
Seek not to oppress the weak by wrongful might;
To pay thy due do banish all delays.
Care to dispend according to thy store,
And in like sort be mindful of the poor.

Care for thy soul, as for thy chiefest stay;
Care for thy body for thy soul's avail;
Care for the world for body's help alway;
Care yet but so as virtue may prevail.
Care in such sort that thou be sure of this:
Care keep thee not from heaven and heavenly bliss.

Soul has an extra mileage

Soul and body: who depends on who?
Soul and body: who adds values to who?
Whom do you regard: soul or body?
Who is the cause of your actions?
Does soul departs for body decays?
Does body decays for soul departs?
Soles alone are ghosts; bodies alone are corpses.
Soul and body together gain values.
Must soul have an extra mileage?

How Do I Love You My Beloved

How do I love you my beloved

Since the day My eyes met with your's
They never stopped watching your roads
How do I love you if you ever knew!
How do I love your pure sense, .
The touch of your hand how a beautiful sense..
Your voice my sweetness full of care
While you talk my soul arise to air
The thougts of wise man and attic
I love all those and byond
I love you with eternal love
That will never die
Till the heart gets apart the body
Promise that you'll stay the only soul in the body
But stay there till the soul leaves the world

Chocolate Soul

As the day begins the dreams reveal
The night before was a unconscious feel
Soothing your body from every end
Chocolate Soul is giving more time to heal

Tears don't necessary lend a hand
The exotic points are about to extend
Soothing your body from every end
Chocolate Soul is giving more time to heal

Knowing that hi points touch the thighs
Leaving the feeling of passion within your eyes
Soothing your body from every end
Chocolate Soul is giving more time to heal

Touching your skin beyond ectasy
Is Breathtaking enough to calm the seas
Soothing your body from every end
Chocolate Soul is giving time to heal

Piercing eyes creep through the pane
Embarrassment captures your every saying
Soothing your body from every end
Chocolate Soul is giving time to heal

Once more you catch your breath
The feeling of euphoria is beyond wealth
Soothing your body from every end
Chocolate Soul is giving time to heal

Once more you catch your breath
Passion and Envy are tied up in self
Soothing your body from every end
Chocolate Soul is giving time to heal

Finally the day has end
Remember to touch, feel and speak
Encounters the moments of the soul being weak
Soothing your body from every end
Chocolate Soul is giving time to heal

Once more you catch your breath
The shivers are a response of something else
Soothing your body from every end
Chocolate Soul is giving time to heal

The moral of the story may seem unclear
Come closer to me and never fear
Soothing your body from every end
Chocolate Soul is giving time to heal

A Body

A body gets tired. A body gets weak,
too damned tired to even speak.
A body that's worked so hard everyday
is too damned tired to even pray.
A body that is slowly succumbing to fate
knows in its bones that it's too damned late.

And so it looks forward to a long sweet dream
one where it can awaken,
one where it will seem
as if the body does'nt count anymore.
For it is finished. Something else is in store.
No more aching, being tired and sore.

A body's just a body and now it is done.
No regrets are with you, not even one.
A soul's not tired. A soul's not weak.
A soul lives forever. It is unique.

Soul Please Understand

Soul, you must understand
how this body sleeps with you.

Soul, you must remember
it has separate manners with you.

Soul, learn the sensual pleasures
of this body, its twists and turns,

its crooked ways, its perverted ways,
its insatiability, even its evil ways,

Soul, you have all the patience,
when the body is rested before its

time is over, Soul, awaken it,
shake it, let it shed off its dusts

of errors, its stains of lusts,
wash it with fasting, and repentance

Soul, be wise, and kind enough to
save this Body, until it rusts and

to dust it shall return, and Soul
when you go up there, Forget.

Value your soul

The soul and the body aren’t separate.
They’re as integrated as body and heat.
To love or hate a person is soul’s act.
To love or hate a thing is body’s act.
Soul, not body, experiences shame.
Body, not soul, ignores guilt and qualms.
Value the soul to value yourself.

Souls are born

Souls are born leaders-
But a stranger's come calling,
Trying to open a door;
For sure opening windows.

Soul's all dressed up,
Body lagging behind
Following the bright lights,
Like shepherds hunting babies.

Body the sluggard; body the receptacle
Of so much light, amid time-crazed journeys;
Body follows maps, soul the guiding stars..

Soul knows not where the body's going
But only what happens, when it gets there.

The Way You Smile At Me

as we get near
at the junction of our new directions
i could not help but notice your smile
i understand perfectly what you are hinting
you will offer something that i dream of
like your heart on a golden platter

i would like to take it
with my own hands
and keep it whole
i want it forever

but no
things do not just stop in there
there is also an exchange
a price that i must pay
you will also take everything i have
my soul my body
it is there on the curve of the smile like a scythe
i am not ready as always to part with what i treasure
my body my soul my independence my mind

and so i turned back
to the old ways of my home

Tricked and mistreated.

Tricked and mistreated.

I’ve been evicted dispossessed
I was fool did not believe
I really thought that knew best
and had no fear of all souls eve.

To me a jolly holiday
to trick or treat with all my friends.
But sadly I became the prey
of evil spirits who intend.

To seize the opportunity
Usurp a body take its place
assume again humanity
and thus rejoin the human race.

By accident I was alone
with no one near to offer aid
when I was cast out overthrown.
It was the one mistake I made.

To disbelieve was foolishness.
The legends made it very plain.
So now I am left bodiless
although I can still feel the pain.

I’m not the me I used to be
I am not sure just where I am.
Though all around me I can see
foul spirits who don’t give a damn.

For me and my predicament
They are too busy trying to
realise their only intent
of occupying a body too.

I’ve been evicted dispossessed
I know too well the tales are true.
I’ll disappear with all the rest
When the sun comes smiling through.

I’ll have to suffer 'til next year
Between the worlds in limbo lost.
Until all souls eve draws near.
For disbelief I pay the cost.

Then I’ll be hunting with pack
Seeking an opportunity
to try and seize my body back.
To be again who I should be.

I would advise you to believe.
The warning that I offer you
and stay indoors on all souls eve
because the old wives tales are true.
