Vanity
let us urinate together
let us see
which urine reaches the clouds
mine reaches only
the mountain.

A good name reaches far but a bad one reaches farther.
Reaches An Age
a man reaches an age,
and a time in his life...
when having worked, and fought,
having loved, and lost,
having gotten knocked down,
and gotten back up,
over and over, time and again...
a man reaches an age,
and a time in his life...
when he knows he's given more
than he had to give.
when suddenly he's just tired,
and worn to the bone...
a man reaches an age,
and a time in his life...
when he just wants to stop,
to look back, to just feel,
and see if somehow
he's still there!
but now the times have changed,
and there is no stopping,
no point of refuge,
no time to rest...
the battle looms, the lines are drawn,
and all a man can do....
is to keep walking!

Me prove it now—Whoever doubt
537
Me prove it now—Whoever doubt
Me stop to prove it—now—
Make haste—the Scruple! Death be scant
For Opportunity—
The River reaches to my feet—
As yet—My Heart be dry—
Oh Lover—Life could not convince—
Might Death—enable Thee—
The River reaches to My Breast—
Still—still—My Hands above
Proclaim with their remaining Might—
Dost recognize the Love?
The River reaches to my Mouth—
Remember—when the Sea
Swept by my searching eyes—the last—
Themselves were quick—with Thee!

What comes from the lips reaches the ears, what comes from the heart reaches the heart.
While in Goa!
Coming to you Oh! city of beaches
Ever nice your plesaure when someone reaches
Everyone dreams of the times to visit
A journey off the sun into a cool spirit
Pleasing is your weather which calmness teaches
Coming to you Oh! city of beaches
Ever nice your plesaure when someone reaches
Breeze of the coconut trees within a mile
The sea has an instinct of sudden smile
Healing of the shore offers gathering of riches
Coming to you Oh! city of beaches
Ever nice your plesaure when someone reaches

The goodness of the father reaches higher than a mountain; that of the mother goes deeper than the ocean.
Above all, do not lie to yourself. A man who lies to himself and listens to his own lie comes to a point where he does not discern any truth either in himself or anywhere around him, and thus falls into disrespect towards himself and others. Not respecting anyone, he ceases to love, and having no love, he gives himself up to passions and coarse pleasures, in order to occupy and amuse himself, and in his vices reaches complete bestiality, and it all comes from lying continually to others and to himself. A man who lies to himself is often the first to take offense. It sometimes feels very good to take offense, doesn’t it? And surely he knows that no one has offended him, and that he himself has invented the offense and told lies just for the beauty of it, that he has exaggerated for the sake of effect, that he has picked on a word and made a mountain out of a pea — he knows all of that, and still he is the first to take offense, he likes feeling offended, it gives him great pleasure, and thus he reaches the point of real hostility…

Stay With Me
Tempered by greed, tall buildings breathe
Give a sigh of relief when its night
Stirring from sleep, we night owls creep
Is there any sign of life under this stone
Star chime hollow & true.
Love, child
Weep for me & I will cast your wheels in motion
Walk with me the inner reaches of emotion
Sheltered by creed, one piled on one
Do you have a little room for one small one
Light shine wild & free
Sun, rise
Weep for me & I will set your wheels in motion
Keep with me & like a roller on the ocean
Stand by me & I will fill you with devotion
Walk with me the inner reaches of emotion
Weep for me & sands of time will fill the ocean
Keep with me til rays of sunshine fill the ocean
Walk with me the inner reaches of emotion
Stand with me & I will fill you with devotion
Weep for me the sands of time will fill the ocean
Keep with me & like a roller on the ocean
Stand by me & I will fill you with devotion
Walk with me the inner reaches of emotion
The sands of time will fill the ocean
Keep with me & rays of sunshine fill the ocean
Walk with me the inner reaches of emotion

Mendes
Your beauty reaches up to the skies and,
I am Mendes and i love you;
But the snares of death confront you like war!
And the cords of the grave are ready for you.
Hear the voice of my cry and i will save you,
For your beauty reaches up to the skies!
And of the great joy of your love that speaks the truth,
For my true heart will be with you always.

Beyond The Daylight Reaches
Beyond the daylight reaches,
near the back roads of the mind.
Love lies waiting there
for some lucky person,
to pluck it from the air.
Memories of old loves
linger somewhere back there,
waiting to be rekindled,
like a dying candle flame.
Beyond the daylight reaches,
near the back roads of the mind.
The world’s great treasure
waits for someone to find.
The treasure of love,
one that will last forever.
The dream without ending,
all seek, but very few
ever get there to find.
A few will take the trouble,
and keep the desire warm
at the upper most of the mind.
Travelling down this dangerous road
that stretched out beyond the daylight reaches,
near the backs roads of the mind.
Seeking the ultimate prize,
they could ever hope to find.

No reaches
The heart approaches joy
But never reaches it.
The heart approaches women
But never reaches them.
Women keep their windows open
With doors always shut.
They will shut their windows too
As rainbows in me turn white.
Then I’ll house them in my inn
That I have built in my brain.

Without A Spark To Ignite The Flame
I hear your voice,
In ever changing whispers...
What it is you feel,
On those days you choose to say...
Words you wish me to believe are real.
But I can not trust,
What it is I can not feel.
Or be made to believe...
A feeling that is not there,
Can be made for me to know is real.
Unspoken is that touch that reaches my heart.
Silent are those embers that warm and linger.
Not stirred by words...
Just to have them heard.
Unspoken is that touch that reaches my heart.
I hear your voice,
In ever changing whispers...
What it is you feel,
On those days you choose to say...
Words you wish me to believe are real.
Unspoken is that touch that reaches my heart.
And a passion within me just will not burn...
Or start,
Without a spark to ignite the flame.

Somewhere Between
I love you so much I can't let you go and sometimes I believe you love me
But somewhere between your heart and mine there's a door without any key
Somewhere between your heart and mine there's a window that I can't see through
There's a wall so high it reaches the sky somewhere between me and you
[ steel ]
Somewhere between your heart and mine there's a love I can't understand
It's there for a while then it fades like a smile and I'm left in the middle again
Somewhere between...

Dis-stance: versts, miles
To B. Pasternak
Dis-stance: versts, miles...
They've dis-joined us, dis-mantled us,
So that we would be quiet,
At the world's farthest ends.
Dis-stance: versts, reaches...
They've disbanded, disrupted us,
Disunited and dissolved us,
Not knowing that we are an alloy
Of inspirations and sinews...
They haven't dispirited us, but they've dispersed us,
Dissected...
Wall and moat.
Displaced us, like eagles-
Conspirators: versts, reaches...
Not dismayed, but displanted.
Across the slums of the earth's latitudes
They disarranged us like orphans.
How many is it - oh, how many - Marches?!
Since they disordered us like a deck of cards!

Weep Day
I never went to the tropical island
Though everybody said they saw me there
And it wasnt me you punched a hole in
At the west german protest march
Simultaneous events dont happen
We are isolated temporally
And a part is never called the whole thing
Though it bothers us to know its so
Every man is made of two opinions
Every woman has a second half
And its samba time for tambo and weep day for urine man (samba time for tambo and weep day for urine man)
Yes, its samba time for tambo and weep day for urine man (samba time for tambo and weep day for urine man)
I didnt write the words you hear me singing (didnt write the words you hear me singing)
I didnt sing the line before this one (didnt sing the line before this one)
You are not the one I was addressing (you are not the one I was addressing)
That person took a train to africa (africa)
Where he met the consulate from belgium
Who is now a buddhist in a cave
Who is pitching for the oakland raiders
Striking out the batter she became
Every man is made of two opinions
Every woman has a second half
And its samba time for tambo and weep day for urine man (samba time for tambo and weep day for urine man)
Yes, its samba time for tambo and weep day for urine man (samba time for tambo and weep day for urine man)
Yes, its samba time for tambo and weep day for urine man (samba time for tambo and weep day for urine man)
Weep day for urine man (weep day for urine man)
Weep day for urine man (weep day for urine man)
Weep day for urine man (weep day for urine man)
Weep day weep day
Weep day weep day
Weep day weep day
Weep (weep) weep (weep) weep (weep) weep (weep)
Weep (weep) weep (weep) weep (weep) weep (weep)
Weep (weep) weep (weep) weep (weep) weep (weep)

When the mountain with all its peaks are aflame
flames spread further with destruction
from where the mountain is covered by fire
until it rushes to the end of the bushes
and everything that it reaches is burning
from where the mountain is covered by fire
while fire-fighters are bringing the first resistance
and everything that it reaches is burning,
people are jumping fleeing out of the way
while fire-fighters are bringing the first resistance
and the fire rolls on and on,
people are jumping fleeing out of the way
in the smoke do not really know where to go
and the fire rolls on and on
while people are looking with emotion,
in the smoke do not really know where to go
while some are demanding escape
while people are looking with emotion
until it rushes to the end of the bushes
while some are demanding escape
flames spread further with destruction.

Black Dog Pink Wall
black dog
walking
near a
pink wall
stares
at the pinkness
of the wall
and then
it raises its
right leg
and squirts
urine
do you think
love exists
in this show
of release?
urinate
after a pink
love
black dog,
is that you?
staring eyes
are those
yours?
spread legs
are those
yours?
