Those Years
those years of closed doors,
they must be over by now.
the days start to come in trickles
of light this early morning
bringing sweet memories of the moon
and the stars
the venetian blinds are dusted
molecules dance at the center stage
on such an immense light
as you sit and stare
and ponder like a new seed
breaking its own
shell

Morning Song
this is the song of
the pillow and the blanket
when you splash them
in the air and then
you fold the blanket
and put it on top
of each other and you
set them gently aside
this is the song of the
yellow green venetian blinds
when you pull the strings up
and you let in the light
this is the song of the doors
and the windows when you
unlock the knobs and open
them to let all the sounds of the
day enter your house
this is the whistle that comes
out from your throat when
you shape your lips like
a pout where good thoughts
are let in and then the notes
begin to fly like some birds
on a clear early morning sky

Cocky
at 4 a.m.
the cocks are getting
cocky
announcing
the arrival of a
satisfied
morning
everything is a yes
everybody is welcome
light penetrating
the shutters of the venetian
blinds
light filling the room
like cream
to the mouth and lips
the cocks are cocky as ever
now louder
and stronger
on voices to the skies
to a perfect morning
hail! hail! hail!

COME ON BABY
DANCE IN THE MOON LIGHT
MAKE YOU ALL MINE
LOVE WITH ME BABY
EARLY IN THE MORNING
LATE AGAIN AT NIGHT
BE WITH ME WOMAN
NEVER LET ME LEAVE YOU
AND JUST KEEP DOING ME RIGHT
I DON'T GIVE A DAMN ABOUT
NO ANDS, IF'S, AND BUT'S
I WANNA LOVE YOU TONIGHT
COME ON BABE AND DO ME TONIGHT
I WANT LOVIN EVERY MORNIN, NOON, AND NIGHT
YOU ARE ALWAYS DANCING IN MY DREAMS
WORKIN IT SO HARD YOU MAKE ME CREAM
COME ON AND WALK WITH ME BABE
AND TALK UNTIL THE NIGHT TURNS INTO DAY
WHILE I SIT AND LISTEN CAREFULLY
WHILE MAKING DEEP SWEET LOVE IN EVERY WAY
COME ON BABY
DANCE IN THE MOON LIGHT
MAKE YOU ALL MINE
LOVE WITH ME BABY

The Morning Lights Outside The Kitchen Door...
must it be habit
that makes you turn off the light
outside the kitchen
at the break of day
when the birds start to
sing their songs
you save on electricity
in the same manner that you budget
your time and
money
i've tried it once
not putting off the lights from morning
till night
some early birds that pick the early worms
passing by the house
with closed doors and windows
with lights not switched off
think that i am
dead

Seven Days In The Sun
I've got a friend, her name is Laura
We took a holiday, seven sweet days in Majorca
We took a plane through to southern Spain
To see the ocean wave's blue
We sat and watched the moon
As crickets sung back cover tunes
Way back in May
Seven days in the sun, seven days in the sun
She's my heaven
She's a spark
Feels like heaven
So light me up
She's got this friend, his name is Paula
He likes to cross dress every friday night in clothes from Prada
We took a train, left behind the rain
To see the summer sunset glow
But now she's not around
I'm hanging on with broken hands
Way above the clouds
Seven days in the sun, seven days in the sun...sun
She's my heaven
She's a spark
Feels like heaven
So light me up
You really light me up
You really light me up
You really light me up
You really light me up
You really
Staring out through the crowd
It's pulling me underground
And who's gonna dig me out?
We used to take a walk on velvet sands across the beach
We used to build a fire, and stare into the rising heat
You used to set me free, lift me from the concrete seas
Seven days in the sun
She's my heaven
She's a spark
Feels like heaven
So light me up
You really light me up
You really light me up
You really light me up
You really light me up
You really light me up
You really light me up
You really light me up
You really light me up
You blow my mind

In fact blindness speaks
Unmouth words
They come in shades of light
Specks
Trickles
Unmouth words
Now they come
From your eyes
Closed eyes
From a blindness of so much love
Unmouth your words
Let the words come
As shades of light in a dark soul
Speck of light
Trickles
Of
Feelings
Like pearls
Of teardrops
From a blindness of so much
Unmouth
It is your eyes speaking
Closed
With soft hands
Reaching
The touch
Of my heart in pain.

Request
love not the fading of the light
darkness is its only offering
oh the light of the moon and the stars
oh there may be too many of them
but their silence is deadening
their flickers merely an additive
wait for the twilight for it
offers you the breaking of day
the light of the sun
the merrymaking of the flowers and bees
the whispers of love in the air
the playful waves of the sea
love me not
for i am only the friend of the moon
please go
i have nothing but the empty promises of the stars

A Seeds A Star/tree Medley
Were a people black as is your night
Born to spread ammas eternal light
Which since time began
Has been to bring truth to every man
Our ancestors have since long ago
Passed their wisdom down so we to know
For here lies the key
That will help unfold the mistery
A seeds a star
A seeds a stars a seed
A stars a seed
A stars a seeds a star
In myself I do contain
The elements of sun and rain
First a seed with roots that swell
I gradually burst through my shell
Pushing down into the ground
The root of me is homeward bound
A trunk, a leaf and there I am
A miracle of least by far
Tree - you are the longest living one we know
The largest of all plants and still you grow
Tree - within your branches theres such history
So much of what were searching for to know
Every fifty years we celebrate
Po tolo, our star, as it rotates
Though infinitely small
It is still the heaviest of them all
(background)
A seeds a star
A seeds a stars a seed
A stars a seed
A stars a seeds a star
A seeds a star
A seeds a stars a seed
A stars a seed
A stars a seeds a star
(background-simultaneous)
Ye lolo de ye
Lolo ye kesse de ye
Kesse ye lolo de ye
Lolo ye kesse de ye
Kesse ye lolo de ye
Lolo ye kesse de ye
Kesse ye lolo de ye
Lolo ye kesse de ye
And some believe antennas are their leaves
That spans beyond our galaxy
Theyve been, they are and probably will be
Who are the mediocrity

Dance dance dance
Dance in the moon light with,
All the stars in sight
Dance to the smiles
Dance in the shadows my love
Dance dance dance.
You may think I'm crazy
I'd dance in the moonlight
I'll dance when I want to
Please let me dance
Dance dance dance
Dancer take my hand to your,
Hand
I need to dance
Close your blue eyes,
Hold me in your arms and,
Dance dance dance.

May This
May this breathing part
stop working tonight,
when everyone will be
in their sleeping bed.
I'll leave in semi-darkness
this beautiful earth.
The moon in his vessel
will move gradually..
The stars with flickering
light won't notice from
very far, many light years away
a soul, has started its sojourn,
from that hateful, earthly
world, away far away...
Next morning will be
again full of golden
light, the trees will
dance with the air,
the rivers, streams
will be running towards
the seas and ocean...
Like them I may come
back with new robes,
new home but with
the same lot to sip
the drink of life,
until another journey comes!

Why Am I Needing This?
I am not those dark days lived.
To perform an existing within shadows.
I am not,
One who sits comfortably...
Fixed to fears,
Of my own image appearing...
On walls that I visit forelorned.
I can not accept a misery imposed upon me.
I can not accept...
My own reflection hinting with signs of neglect.
I am the light that brightly shines...
On the other side of closed windows.
I am the light that brightly shines...
Beyond closed and locked doors,
My mind has been convinced...
I'm needing more to restrict my addictions.
I'm needing more of this...
To keep and explore!
'I am not those dark days lived',
I say.
'I am not that one existing,
Within the restriction of shadows.'
I am the light that brightly shines...
On the other side of closed windows.
I live beyond closed and locked doors!
And yet I am a victim,
Of my own self inflicting addictions.
Why am I needing this...
To keep adventured and explored?
'Why am I needing this?
Why from it I just can't quit? '

Dance Unto The Light
Dance unto the light,
Sway to the sounds of time,
Watch the angels bright,
As they dance within your mind.
Dance my friends and sway,
To beauty, to laughter, to love,
For this is the most perfect day,
A perfect gift from above!
Dance unto the light,
Catch the stars bright,
For perfect are the angels love,
From the One Most High above!
Dance, dance, dance
As the music plays on,
Dance, Dance, Dance,
As we listen to their song.
Dance unto the light,
Star light, star bright,
Watch as the baby is born,
On a most glorious morn?
Dance unto the light,
Catch the stars so bright,
Yes He died on a tree,
But He died for Victory!
dance unto the light,
We dance unto the night,
The song has been sung,
For He has finally won!

At Times I Can Loose Myself In Sadness
At times I can loose myself in sadness
although the sun still rises in the morning,
the stars glow in their myriad at night,
the wind rustles in the great oak trees
as you have left me, have gone to another
and I truly did love you and thought that you
had a place for me somewhere in your heart
and in days and nights like this we were together
and there is some kind of detachment in the loss,
as if the world is much more immense without you
as if I will somewhere, somehow again find you
but you are nowhere and days turn into years
and what we had is gone and totally lost
while memories keeps on lingering.

It Didn't Matter
It didn’t matter if the moon was full last night, and that I did not count the stars-
Or that the birds were singing upon early morning awakening,
Forty or some odd years ago- or perhaps even before then-
A full moon evoked fantasies of fortune, mystery and desire to know
What existed beyond my own back yard-
Stars were a million light years away and
Brought to mind none but curiosity and fascination-
I never knew why birds sang and hardly cared- as
Their songs were hymns of enchantment,
In tune with love of nature at the rising of the sun -
The dawning of a new day was reason for celebration.
I do not know if the moon was full last night
The sun could rise this morning and
This world could cease to exist-I am lost inside a world of my own
Where I live inside the fortress of my thoughts,
Spoken words echo about my mind and
Inundate with fear, rage and terror-here inside the tenement of my delusions
I have been commanded by voices echoing about the chambers of my mind
To lock the door to actuality, and to toss its key to the wind outside-
The songs of the sparrows have evaded me and
I no longer care to witness the rising of the sun, or
The dawning of a new day, and have become quite a stranger to myself-
It doesn’t matter if the moon was full last night
And not only the stars are a million light years away- as seemingly are
Hopes and dreams for a promising future I had as a child-
I stare upward towards the ceiling counting
The stars that are a figment of my imagination-
Inside the world of my thoughts, dreams and apparitions
I am being inundated by a phantasmal though provocative meteor shower, and
Trapped inside hell’s brushfire that no rainstorm can extinguish;
It has been said that dancing beneath the full moon can bring about loss of sanity-
Hiding inside the safe haven of my fondest dreams
I could be found wishing upon one of those stars
Some millions of light years away-
While I have become a lost soul with no destiny-
Dancing beneath that fickle light of the moon, mistrustful of all intruders, I could be-
Hell’s brushfire has burnt down the bridge that connects veracity to unreality-
Even though it may always remain in question
To whether or not the moon has remained full past midnight as would be hidden behind
Clouds of apprehension, I can still
Wish upon those stars after the day the sun burns out-and perhaps some day
I may find hope, peace of mind and fortune as near as within my own back yard…

I Walk With Dark Thoughts
I walk with dark thoughts-
The sunlight on the morning road smiles at me-
Life is an endless struggle between the dark and the light in oneself-
Fear and Hope war within endlessly-
As the day goes by
It will become brighter,
But Darkness always comes again-
And in the early morning lying awake before the light has come
It will prevail again-
Life is an endless struggle between the dark and light in oneself-
Oh God Please let there be greater light in me
In the days and the years ahead-

oO-Morning Sun-Oo
The night's calm darkness,
Is washed away with the morning light,
The light strong enough to wake up a highness,
The Sun high in the sky.
The warmth, The light,
It's all here with the Morning Sun.
The joy, the sight,
It's here with the Morning Sun.
Then the sun settles over field and sheep,
The Moon following behind.
And when the Morning light has went to sleep,
The Night and the Moon have come.
Light The Heart
Time pushed me into dark
It closed all the doors
And locked me in cage
For days and months
With no rays of light
I lived in with a hope
In that cage for months
For a light of hand
To reach my darkness
And to pull into light
Days and months passed
In darkness and hope
No light of hand came
To pull me into light
Slowly my hope died
I stopped to look
For light of hand
And started to think
How to light darkness?
How to light darkness?
Finally the light came
In my cage of darkness
Its not light of hand
Its a light of lights
That showed me light
It divvy's any darkness
It unlocks any cage
It lights all the time
It always helps me out
Its a light of my heart

A Resolution
early in the morning
as we pray in church
searching for
light
we ponder deep
like a well
without rope
on a rusty pail
and then we open our eyes
not seeing any light
we find the darkness instead
and then we step out
and walk on our
separate ways.

Frenchman for the Night
Comes a song I've heard before
A scratchy grammaphone
Cuts to the bone
La vie en rose arpeggios
So the dream begins
And the song is amplified
Buy the beaujolais
On Bastille Day
He dances in the tide
Chorus:
By the light of the moon
Hes a frenchman for the night
By the light of the moon
It'll be all right
Well it takes him back
To the days of love and war
And the girl he knew
With eyes of blue
Waiting on the shore
If hed only known
How the years would fly on by
Such a simple crime
Hes run out of time
So he reaches for the sky
Chorus:
By the light of the moon
He's a frenchman for the night
By the light of the moon
It'll be all right
Blame it on the Champs Elysees
Blame it on a tune
Blame it on the stroke of Monet
But you can't escape the moon
You can't escape the moon.
He sees the stars above
As the floor to heaven's light
While the angels taunt
Cest une nuit blanche
He's a frenchman for the night.
