The Killer Instincts Of Thoughts....
his thoughts are like
tall, untamed grasses
no one lives there anymore
and everyone is
afraid,
even the dogs, they sniff
a story
of a bitch who went in there
and never
came back, alive.
the grasses are sharp like swords
and tricky like
a mad magician who kills its willing
subjects alive
and escapes in the air like a
whiff of
a sigh
the grasses are alluring, and one white dog
thinking of the bone
and the meat of the jackal
one night
slipped in there like a thief
the sounds of one choked fade
like a denim.

Green Grasses
Green beautiful grasses
Where lands the butterflies
Green grasshoppers just hopped
Greedily shining beautifully to be alive
Looking deeply in ones gazing eyes
And don't know how to say goodbye
Or tell ones flesh never to smile freely
With these green grasses
That smiles with a dog tooth
For flesh makes grasses ever green.
Green beautiful grasses
Just doesn't feel right
Growing on a burial ground
Across ones head
Having no yesterday,
And no to-morrow.
Forgetting thoughts, taught, time
Forgetting fortune, life and love
Lying at peace
With grasses growing all over ones head
Green beautiful grasses
Where I lay when I rise to the morning sun
Stretching legs during the burning ray
Forgetting about death or life
Feeling an angel
Angels cherish a background
Looking so beautiful,
A sight to see
A scene to show
How deep is a love….

The Grasses At The Beach
the grasses in the beach
are thick and tall
spreading upon the edges
of the concrete fences
perhaps wanting to go out
of its rectangular cage
it is unattended
no one visits them
the time is only at least
once a week
the grasses are tall and thick
perhaps because
they are all free

Nervous & Weird
You know i want to be
The way you want me to
Big hearted and tall enough to cover you
I would break in half
If you said it loud splinter out of myself
Just like mercury
I think it's better now,
Than how it used to be
You were lying in bed and i would levitate
I think it's better here,
Than where we used to be
I wish i could go out into the oregon sun. . .
To be alive in the day. . .
I would smile at everyone
I remember you
Back in '83
You were dressing insane
You were my everything
You were so different
From all those other girls
A blind electra in drag
So cool and casually lame
I think i'm better now
Than how i used to be
Always nervous and weird
Scared most of the time
I think it's better now
Than how it used to be
Always up in the night
Afraid to live in the day
Afraid of being afraid
Afraid to live in the day
Afraid of being afraid
I sit alone
When your not around
I read aloud just to hear a friendly noise
I see your scary dolls
They always look at me
From the corner of my eyes
I see them shake their heads
You know i want to be
The way you want me to
Big hearted and tall enough to cover you
I want to be
The way you want me to
I wish i could go out just to be alive in the day
To be alive in the day
To be alive in the day
To be alive in the day

American Prairie
10’ tall Big bluestem…
Once flourished there, now almost gone
Creamy yellow blossoms of Plains wild Indigo
White prairie Phlox and…
Bright yellow Prairie Ragwort
Tiny dark-blue Downy Gentian
Grasses fade from bluish purple
to copper-tan and wine-red.
Compass Plant leaves point only north and south
And it’s sap a natural chewing gum
Short grasses in the shadow…
of the Rocky Mountains
Tall wind shimmered grass
from Manitoba to Texas
Soil with the exotic name of Loess
Composed of glacial born rock dust
Leavened with wind borne debris.
Fields of ten foot tall Sun Flowers
Beauty and history… in land never tilled
Russets, …yellows… and purples
Dancing in the never-ceasing wind

As You Go Back To The Paths Of Your Dreams
as you go back to the paths of
your dreams
the grasses grow tall
on the bend
somewhere
i depart as breath
to my labyrinths of
regrets
if i find you
i must kiss you
if you like it still
if i don't i must
find back my hands
so i can still feel
my heart still beats
sounds
of life like a cicada
at high noon
extreme heat
but never burned.

Morning Peace
THE sudden sunbeams slant between the trees
Like solid bars of silver. moonlight kissed,
And strike the supine shadows where they rest
Stretched sleeping; while a timid, new-born Breeze
Stirs through the grasses, petulant—her eyes
Half-blinded by the clinging scarves of mist:
Her robes, that tangled through the grasses twist,
Weave as she moves sweet whispered melodies.
O may it be a morn like this, when slow
From a dark world beneath my soul shall go
Through the wet grasses of a purple plain,
Still stretching broader in the cool, grey glow
Of morning twllight: then my soul shall know
That life and love are lost—and found again!

The Old Nipa Hut In Shambles...
in the middle of the rice field
after the harvest
March, wet days, the nipa hut
stands alone
the grasses have grown tall
no one arrives neither someone leaves
abandoned, the heart sometimes
cannot anymore remember

Showcase
socialite clouds rest on the top
of Malindang Mountain
the common trees look at them
with envy
the grasses chide that there is no point to this
the clouds are meant to pass
the trees are meant to be cut and burned
and the grasses win.

The Green Grass Of Your Home...
they are the silent witnesses
of my first love
those spreading green grass of your home
away from mine
when we first kiss and when we finally made love
sweet juices flow on such blanket of green
so fresh then warm...
they shall be the same silent witness of my last breath
those wilting grasses of your home
away from mine
when we finally part and when the wreath is placed
above my home
away from yours
the elegy shall be said and the dirge shall be played
and the wilting grasses shall have heard
the sounds of my
final rest.

Rock'n'roll Is Alive (And It Lives In Minneapolis) (Tony Fly Mix)
And It Lives In Minneapolis)
(Rock 'n' roll is alive!)
Rock 'n' roll is alive (Rock 'n' roll is alive!)
(Rock 'n' roll is alive and it lives in Minneapolis!) {x2}
From all over the world the people came
Even the President flies in 2 worship a thing called fame
Red, white, and blue boy / girls - 2night everyone's the same
Some people say it's dyin', but we don't wanna play that game
Rock 'n' roll is alive and it lives in Minneapolis! (Sing!)
Rock 'n' roll is alive (and it lives in Minneapolis!)
Rock 'n' roll is alive and it lives in Minneapolis! (Sing!)
Rock 'n' roll is alive (and it lives in Minneapolis!)
Sure as the drive around Lake of the Isles is cool I know (Oh)
Rock 'n' roll will never die like the Minnehaha flow (Oh)
Sure as the land of a thousand lakes is sometimes made of snow
There'll always be another king 2 die butt-naked on the floor (Oh)
Rock 'n' roll is alive and it lives in Minneapolis! (Sing!)
Rock 'n' roll is alive (and it lives in Minneapolis!) (Oh)
Rock! Rock!
(Very impressive)
Rock! Rock!
(Sing!)
(Rock 'n' roll is alive and it lives in Minneapolis!) (Sing damn it!)
Rock! Rock!
Rock 'n' roll is alive! (Yeah!)

Watching the Needleboats at San Sabba
I heard their young hearts crying
Loveward above the glancing oar
And heard the prairie grasses sighing:
No more, return no more!
O hearts, O sighing grasses,
Vainly your loveblown bannerets mourn!
No more will the wild wind that passes
Return, no more return.

Winter Has Come
Definitely winter has come.
The evergreen shrub's white flowers have disappeared.
The ginko trees have turned into brooms.
Like a sharp sharp piercing, winter has come.
Everyone dislikes winter.
Deserted by grasses and trees, run away from by insects, winter has come.
Winter,
come to me, come to me.
I have winter's strength, winter is my victim.
Permeate through, penetrate into!
Make fires break out! Bury with snow I
Like a sharp knife, winter has come.

The Mining Story
they scraped the hills
with trees
the green grasses of homes
are gone
they dug those big holes
looking for
metals
manganese, gold,
for your jewelries
and other accessories
coal for your
fuels
the natives are dislocated
the children lost their birds
chickens and pigs are butchered
for they have no place
to stay
the hills are like criminals
their heads cut off
the trails here are like
intestines
penetrating the
belly of this
earth
listen! do you hear the drunkards
the government and mining firms!
listen! do you hear the sounds of guns
and the last living screams of the
chieftains
the mayors whom they voted
betrayed them
listen! do you hear the explosions
of bombs
the mountains are cracking
skulls
brains are spilling on the
rocks
listen! do you hear the guards coming
with their M-16s
and barking dogs
Run! Run! Run for your lives
Lest you forget
We are the last chickens and
pigs alive
Do not look back
Those are the children and wives
of the chieftains
Those are the hungry natives
begging in the cities
Their Homes gone
Their Hopes shattered

The Sea Grass and The Waves Of The Sea
i went to the beach this afternoon,
the coconut plants that i have planted months ago on the shoreline
have grown taller,
the grasses have spread,
and the shoreline has increase its size
as though the sea is avoiding a confrontation
between sand and
roots,
as though the sand is finally winning against the tide,
the waves are calm,
as though, they miss the leaves of the sea grasses,
unperturbed by the beauty that it has not seen
on the depths of its being,
i wonder, if the feeling is the same
with you, i am the patch of land wanting to own
a part of the sea
you are the sea, and i think, you miss me too.

The Cape Hunting Dogs Of Africa
They run for hours on end each day through grasses gray and brown
Race antelope to a stand still and drag big zebra down
Outlast the speedy wildebeest their victims die in pain
Those amazing cape hunting dogs the hunters of the plain.
They have no sense of right or wrong they must hunt to survive
And their young in den some ten miles off without fresh meat won't thrive
The cape hunting dogs of Africa don't have sins to forgive
They risk their lives amidst flying hooves they kill so they
can live.
The cape hunting dogs of Africa are creatures i admire
They chase big game for miles and miles and never seem to tire
Their team work and companionship they live to serve the pack
They often kill ten miles from home and trot the ten miles back.
The cape hunting dogs of Africa live as true family
They chase big game for miles on end and work in harmony
They have no choice but kill to eat if they don't eat they die
And they risk their lives to serve the pack when hooves of hunted fly.

The Relentless Arms of August
The Relentless Arms Of August
I see the dust billow
behind the well-used pick-up
on the farm-to-market road
paralleling the paved, lined ribbon
which I drive.
In my yard,
a Robin splashes
in what is left
of my reflecting pond.
The awful browned grasses
and lethargic leaves,
created by a merciless white-hot sun,
and cloudless upper reaches,
turn my thoughts to the rich,
renewing rains of Spring.
But now, in the grasp
of late, stifling summer,
I struggle to break free
and launch into the cool,
embracing arms of Autumn.
Bring me the gentle rains
to quell the billowing clouds of dust,
soothe the browned grasses,
make supple the listless leaves,
and renew the aquafer
of Earth and Mind.

I Don't Want To Live Forever
Frank Sinatra died today
I came home and found my mama crying
The TV had so much to say
Somehow I was thinking about dying
I'm seventeen and thinking about dying
I don't want to live forever
Just want to know that I'm alive
Don't want to live forever
Just until the day I die
I see my daddy in his chair
He sits there night and day
The TV still looks good as new
Daddy's old and gray
And it's scaring me to death
I don't want to go that way
I don't want to live forever
Just want to know that I'm alive
Don't want to live forever
Just until the day I die
Just because your heart's still beating
It don't mean that you're alive
Don't want to live forever
Nobody lives forever
Gonna live while I'm alive
You can see the glass half-empty
You can see the glass half-full
But all I see are shattered dreams
Around this neighborhood
My brother's girlfriend's pregnant
And today she's moving in
My friends all play the lottery
And swear one day they'll win
I'm seventeen, I'm thinking about dying
I'm seventeen, no way I'm dying
Don't want to live forever
Just want to know that I'm alive
Don't want to live forever
Just until the day I die
Just because you're breathing
It don't mean that you're alive
Don't want to live forever
Nobody lives forever
I don't want to live forever
Nobody lives forever
Don't want to live forever
I don't want to live forever
Nobody lives forever
I don't want to live forever
Don't want to live forever
I don't want to live forever
Nobody lives forever
I don't want to live forever
Nobody lives forever
I don't want to live forever
