Swimming With The Dark Queen
how i wish to swim with the dark queen
how i like it that way
where i make the strokes, set aside the water with my hands
breathe,
and travel a distance,
wading throughall the liquids wrapping my body
the coldness and warmth all mixed up
the rhythm of the body sipping through
losing itself to a certain depth and coming out again triumphantly
experiencing little deaths and surging up to life again
i may pretend that i drown and i may resurrect myself with that big lie
and tell myself there is more to life than death
there is more to the struggle than simply lose myself in the depths of defeats and some uncertainties
Swim! Swim! Swim! Plunge yourself into the wates of Life
That is what my father too used to tell me once when he was alive
and so cruel and strict and unfeeling
and then i met you dark queen writing everything about swimming
how i wish to swim back to life again
and what i like most about it is that it can be done without so much talking.

It's a Fish's Life
Swim fish, swim! swim for your life!
The fisherman's coming you're tea for his wife!
Swim fish, swim! your fastest yet,
You must swim quickly, to avoid his big net!
Swim fish, swim! right out to sea!
For I am a shark waiting, and you're dinner for ME!

Swimming in the sea
Summertime is here
And it is time for me to swim
Bodies of all shapes and sizes
Will be evident in the sea
Swimming in the sea
Provides closure of the winter for me
After being secluded for a few months
It is time to embrace the sea
I hope the sea will not be full
As I would really like to swim
The tingle of water through my feet
Provides peace for me
My body becomes accustomed to the sea
As the heat linger on over the beach
I am engulfed by the waves
“ Ooops…” I am far back in the sea
I see various shapes floating in the sea
They take up all the space
I can hardly breathe
It is hard for me to swim
There are bodies all around me
“Fok! Hoe kan ‘n mens so swem”
Swimming in the sea provides solitude for me
Swimming in the sea sets me free!

To parents
Come back, swim back… I need you…
When I stood a child upon the seashore
waving through the tears as first
the one and then the other
was taken by the tide until
no longer visible in that dark sea
too vasty to be thought about…
then turned, and ran back up the beach
to meet and greet my life..
that was, as it was; but now
I run back to the water’s edge
shouting come back... I never knew you,
I’m grown up now, I want to meet you,
ask you all the things I never asked,
tell you all the things I never dared,
look you in your fierce, sad eyes…
come back, swim back, I need you,
for I’m grown up now; I can love you
without restraint; give love not ask for it…
or must I wait, until the tide
laps feet, then knees, then heart, then sight…
to join you in that dark unknownness which
may be, may be, an even greater love
than that which stands here at the water’s edge
as the evening water darkens,
shouting swim back, swim back…

Embalmed
Those who swim in cool clean water.
Do they swim in ephemeral water?
For love of glistening sparkling water?
Or from listless loveless loneliness?
Is body immersed to forget or renew?
Body offering taken out upon tide.
Freedom embroiled foam promise
never quite becomes regenerative true.
Swim in primeval womb in darkness.
Sense deprivation absolute
craved by encumbered few.
Offering taken out upon tidal rip
clothed in dark twinkling star garment
absorbed in keen yearning for heaven
before cast back to land life duties.
Angels watch over heaven bound
marvel at souls cast down to rise.

Moonlight Swim
(words & music by sylvia dee- ben weisman)
Lets go on a moonlight swim
Far away from the crowd
All alone upon the beach
Our lips and our arms
Close within each others reach
Will be on a moonlight swim
Lets go on a moonlight swim
To the raft we can race
After just a little while
Ill sit and pretend
That youre on a desert isle
With me on a moonlight swim
Though the air is cold
With kisses oh so sweet
Ill keep you warm
So very warm from head to you feet
Lets go on a moonlight swim
Were in love and above
Theres a crazy balloon
That sits winking down
And inviting us to come on in
On a moonlight swim

Swimming
i swim through this world
through two eyes,
two hands, . legs
i swim through this world
my hands, legs
and physique
the only setbacks
i swim through this world
covered with body, air, water,
everything that you can see
and - cannot see

Venice Drowning
Venice breathing, shiny shoe mirrors of sex and violence,
In the purple evening silence, venice dreaming of a partner.
Fill your arms with breasts of marble, from the cradle to the table
Coax this naked treasure, from your saviour.
Come swim into my love
Come swim into my life
Divine blasphemer tempting, holly beads of jism
With a scarlet catechism, her lips will answer
(ah, her lips will answer)
How to be, the perfect stranger, the perfect lover - wanting
And as youll discover - giving, and as youll discover - being.
Come swim into my love
Come swim into my life
Enter this sublime corrosion
Venice drowning in emotion
-
(the body stirs, and is reanimated, only briefly,
But then life is very brief)
(come swim into my life)
(come swim into my life)
(ah-ahh ah-ah ah-ah-whoo heyyey)
Venice drowning!
Venice drowning!
Venice drowning!
Venice drowning!
Venice drowning!
Venice drowning! (slowly disappearing..)
Venice drowning! (slowly disappearing..)
Venice drowning! (slowly disappearing..)
Venice drowning!.... (slowly disappearing..)

Fish Out Of Water
You always said you were the compassionate one
But now you're laughing at the sun
With all your high class friends you think you've got it made
The only thing you made was that tanned look on your face
With all your cigarettes and fancy cars
You ain't a clue who or what you are
You're dreaming your life away
Fish out of water
Go swim in the tide today
Fish out of water
We used to sit and talk about primal scream
To exorsice our past was our adolescent dream
But now it's sink or swim since your memory fails
Now in Neptune's kitchen you will be food for killer whales
And on the crucifix his mother made
Hangs one more martyr to the hit parade
You're dreaming you're life away
Fish out of water
Go swim in the tide today
Fish out of water
You're dreaming you're life away
Fish out of water
Go swim in the tide today
Fish out of water

Sperm Cells (Rondelet)
Slow they do swim
in the surging swell avoiding rocks,
slow they do swim;
maybe a little he or him,
a small girl with shining locks,
conceived in happy wedlock,
slow they do swim.

Water Nymph (Fantasy Poem)
Water Nymph come swim with me,
in the deepest valleys of the sea.
Swim through the eddies,
flirt with the sea ladies.
Many treasures here for you and me.
sirens of the sea waving happily.
Water nymph, water nymph,
did you see, they waved at me.
Come water nymph come swim with me.
Enjoy the vastness of the deep blue sea.
There are sea monkeys, sirens, mermaids and more.
Maybe we can take some treasures back to shore.
Oh cmon water nymph, don’t be shy.
Come swim with me, watch the boats sail by.

Dont Cross The River
Theres a little girl out lyin on her own
Shes got a broken heart
Shes not the kind to take you down for long
She knows and plays it smart
(ah--) and if shes comin shes showed no mark
Shes heard no whistle blowin from the dark
She feels like leavin and she dont know why
Without no bridges shes trapped, so I sigh
Dont cross the river if you cant swim the tide
Dont try denyin livin on the other side
All your life
You were on your own
If you want you can ride my train
And soon forget the reason that youre leaving
Youll lose yourself and then sometime
Maybe even save yourself some grievin
Oh, oh, oh, oh
Dont cross the river if you cant swim the tide
Dont try denyin livin on the other side
Dont cross the river if you cant swim the tide
Dont try denyin livin on the other side
Dont cross the river if you cant swim the tide
Dont cross the river if you cant swim the tide
Dont cross the river if you cant swim the tide ...

Deep Waters
I am every where-
all immersion-
surrounding you;
yet you cannot see me;
my name's unknown
my love unknighted;
not shown.
I give you my All
you swim in it
suffused with that joy
which
is unknown
to even itself.
You come and you go
and I labor in this love
giving birth
to you in my soupy midst;
seeing your dreams small
and large grow tall and fit.
I see them swim away too soon
swim away
because
I am water
and you are fish.
I surround you in my dreams at night;
you swim in your world
unaware of me.
But your mouth opens and opens again
drinking of me
which gives you life;
keeps you alive
in the dream world we share.
Above the water line
is the other world
of boats steamers and reality
But here below
under my cover,
it is only
you and I
but only I in the end
since fish you know
never
discover
water-
until
its gone.
We are all fish then
unaware of the dreamy water world
which makes fish possible.

In Your House
I play at night in your house
I live another life
Pretending to swim
In your house
I change the time in your house
The hours i take
Go so slow ...
I hear no sound in your house
Silence
In the empty rooms
I drown at night in your house
Pretending to swim
Pretending to swim

Sweet River
Let me swim in your sweet river
Deliver on to you
Take back all the wrong Ive done
Then give his love just one more run
The moon is full with your green eyes
I surprised you baby
Take back all the wrong Ive done
Give his loving just one more run
One more chance, baby
Let me swim in your sweet river
Wash away all of this pain
Whoah baby I did you wrong
But I never do that again
Take me like a mermaid
Should I jump in and leave the shore
Im a swim and leave the shore
Baby, swimming for some more
Swim and leave the shore
Swimming for you girl, oh baby
You know what I mean
Let me swim for you girl
Cuz I love you

Swimming Sideways
I'm in over my head in this nightmare
The water is dragging me under
And I'm gasping for air
I kick a little harder
I won't go without a fight
But the waves are getting bigger
Crashing down on me
The riptide is getting angrier
And I'm screaming frantically
But nobody can hear
I've made it through storms before
But do I have strength enough now?
My body is tired and sore
It tells me to surrender, but I vow
I won't give up, not yet
But these voices in my head
Tell me that it's useless
'You have no choice, ' they said
Tell me that it'll be painless
But then I hear my conscience
It's weaker than it used to be
But it's still there
It whispers to me
'You know what's right'
And I do, oh, I do!
But it's so tempting
To just give up when times are hard
When so many others are drowning
But I have a lifeguard
He died so I wouldn't
I can't disappoint him
So I muster all my strength
And sideways I try to swim
I'm not ready for death
My soul, my innocence, isn't ready to die
Oh, teenagers
We're all just trying to swim
Through life's stormy waters
Some of us seem to skim
Over rough water, under turbulent waves
Others are doggy-paddling
Slow, but steady
They get knocked around, but keep swimming
They make mistakes constantly
But hope and trust they'll eventually find land
And yet, so many others give up hope
Maybe they never learned how to swim
Or they've been crushed by one too many waves to cope
The future looks so grim
And either way, they drown
They give up who they are
To become who society wants them to be
They fall, they fall far
Into temptations and peer pressure easily
Some even give up on life
Me? I'm just doggy-paddling through
Trying so hard, but sometimes falling short
And now I'm stuck in this riptide, it's true
But I'll make it to that faraway port
Because now I'm swimming, swimming sideways

SWIM SUIT GIRL...by Talile Ali
I WANNA TAKE A WHIRL
WITH MY RED HEADED
FUNKY WALKIN
SWIM SUIT GIRL
RUN AROUND THE BASES
AS SHE GIVES ME A WHIRL
MAKE IT WITH
MY SWIM SUIT GIRL
DANCE AND ROMANCE
IN HER PANTS
IN A TRANCE LOVIN
MY SWIM SUIT GIRL
OH I CAN'T HELP BUT WANNA
GO FOR A WHIRL
DANCIN WITH
MY SWIM SUIT GIRL
SHE LIKES TO BOOGIE
AND LIKES TO ROCK
SHE'A A BAD ASS ROMANTIC
WITH THE SWEETEST LEG LOCK
AND I LIKE
TO TAKE HER FAR AS I CAN
AND I LIKE
TO DO HER BECAUSE I'M HER MAN
SO I CAN'T WAIT
CAUSE I GOT A DATE
WITH MY SWIM SUIT GIRL
DANCIN AND ROMANCIN
AS SHE GIVE'S ME A TWIRL
SPINNING WITH MY SWIM SUIT GIRL

Fish with no tail
as i gaze out of nature... i have seen a fish without a tail
impossible but its true, first things came up to my mind
is, ask whether its worth to give time to remember all
the scene or perhaps, just a memories of a simple
goodbye
as the fish swim, deep beneath the crystal blue water, i
couldn't remember the minutes, the hours past, nay i felt
that i haven't taken my meal, it seems all are just a blink
of a second in my eyes
it keeps on bubbling, even in a thousands seconds it
stay in the water, until i notice that the fish fail to surface
beneath the running water, for the absence of the tail
the body is nothing
all is just a mirror of a fish that, every movement of the
body, the twist of the tail has to follow, its a paradox to
believe that we see the tail of other fish, nay never we
saw that we don't have tail of our own
like the fish it swim, with no direction, only an inspiration
that we can do, yet as it goes there we go, tail that swim
in the water stream with no affection of what to do
now i see, how to swim, in water, lou! where i may go...in
the world of stream when everybody is frame......
