Speed of the River

Fast and slow, after the speed has shown,
We travel as far as heaven, and run back.
This distance denigrates our holiness,
It is sometimes a face, some of us tearfully resign.
The distance of the road is great, greater than surprise,
As force is a river over which there is no bridge.
The water cascades with the land one day,
Becoming a lovely path of new knowledge.
