Surreal

hazy
that is all that i remember
on that trip last night
where a dream like a veil
wraps my head
covers my eyes
and seals my lips
my eyes saw all that
yet i have no words
there is simply none
enough to describe
what really happened
that is all that i can remember
the haze.

Remember Me Please

If one day you ever care to see me
remember me remember me
please…

remember my eyes
when you see some one suffering from love and all they do is cry
remember my lips, when you take the sweetest sip
remember my words my love every day
like in the mornings when you hear the doves sing so gay
remember my smile
exactly like a 8 year old child smiles
remember my body
when you hug your pillow to whisper you love me
remember me when I use to travel every inch of your body
remember me when I fell in your heart and you found me
remember that your lips where all I ever wanted to drink
remember that your eyes where all I ever wanted to see
next to you the only place I wanted to be
remember me please....
when I begged you so you wouldn’t leave

remember when I was inside of your heart
and nothing in this world could break us apart

remember
remember me
please…

Memorable

I remember your eyes and your smile,
I remember the beauty of your face,
I remember where I thought about taking you,
I remember imagining that special place,
I remember how you would laugh
And bring your hand up to your lips,
I remember the gentle touch of your skin
When you touched me with your fingertips,
I remember how you held me close
When I asked you if I may have a dance,
I remember when we talked about
How we were brought together by chance
I remember when I would look up at you,
I remember how you would smile at me,
I remember how nervous I would get
Whenever it was you that I'd see,
I remember how our eyes would lock
And neither of our heads could turn away,
No, I can forget what I remember,
I'll remember it all until my dying day.

I can't remember

I can’t remember the day
I can’t remember the night
I just see in your eyes
I just remember the feeling
What you feel you can’t forget

I can’t remember the light
I can’t remember the dark
I can’t remember the heart
I just live the today
Because it can’t be erased

Don’t let me here alone
Help me to remember what I forgot
I’m waiting for someone
Because alone, I cannot

If the rain come here
Help me to remember the tears
If the sun doesn’t shine
Don’t help me to remember the fears
If in the night there are stars
Remember me about the hope
If the sunset would be long
Help me to my eyes I get close
Because I would remember our love.

I Remember...

I remember that day all to well
I remember how you fell
I remember that hospital room to this day
I remember what you would say
I remember the hope in your eyes
I remember the last time I saw you alive
I remember my unknowing last words to you-I love you
I remember the day you died
I remember the tears I cried
I remember you always and forever

Much That I Remember About You

I remember you
I remember the first time I saw you
Looking up and there you were, an angel on earth
It occurred when I didn’t expect it, wasn’t looking
Seeing you and thinking that you were pretty
Seeing you and wondering why, afterwards, I
Remember you more now

I remember your voice
I remember the first time I heard and it enchanted me
Dulcet tones playing hypnotic music disguised as a woman’s voice
It happened in conversation, in the harmony of all you spoke
Hearing the coy happiness in the words we shared
Hearing the smile in your tone so that I
Remember your voice now

I remember your eyes
I remember the first time I became lost in them
How it was a time when our eyes met in more than just a glance
It happened in a moment, together with you
Seeing in your eyes more than just a casual interest
Seeing in your eyes myself and us which is why I
Remember your eyes now

I remember your skin
I remember the first time I felt the touch of your skin
When your fingertips brushed mine in flirting invitation
It flashed in a moment, skin to skin
Feeling the electricity of your touch, your skin against mine
Feeling the heat passing between us as I
Remember the feel of your skin now

I remember how you made me feel
I remember the first time I admitted to myself
What I felt for you was more than just friendship
It came in a moment, talking with you
Realizing that every thought of you made me smile
Realizing that each smile made me
Remember even more how you made me feel

I remember why I fell for you
I remember this all the time now
The memory comes in thoughts, your voice, your eyes
It happens in every moment these days, loving you
Knowing that what happened between us is a good beginning
Knowing that we could be much more always helps me
Remember constantly why I fell in love with you

A Dying Brain

Do you recall how I was once your fire –?
And we, a regal cloud of unity
Meandering through the closing blues of night,
Commanding stars to glitter;
Dawn to blush?

Your answer comes in ever-blanking stares:
A wall that blocks the know,
Damping down the glow that used to emanate
From clear and lucid eyes.
They've lost the will to recognise.

But hear! We are fifty years together –
And once we writhed in pleasure –
Drowning in emotion,
That which was our prime.

You don't recall.
You only lie as vegetation
Scattered on the ground:
A living mound of flesh,
Devoid of any neural mesh
To let you say 'I'm sound.'

Don't worry Dear,
For I'm aware with memory!
I'll tell you how we were.
We have our right of history!

If you could just concur.

Do you remember...because I do

I remember when you said I love you
I remember when I said yeah me too

I remember when you said love me
I remember when you carved our names in that old oak tree

I remember our first kiss
and I ignored the fact that you missed

I remember when you said together...always
I remember when I stood in front of you dazzled and amazed

I remember the sparkle in your eyes and
I remember the tears you made me cry

I remember when I could never be truly honest with you
I remember me packing, and you asking is there anything that I can do

I remember when I looked into your eyes and
I remember when we said our goodbyes

Rote Lippen Soll Man Kssen

Lately all you can feel is the rain falling
Maybe you feel this world is to blame
you've been crying.
Only
only inside will you know
but still you wonder sometimes:
Where can
where can you go? - Can you go
can you go? -
Remember me
- oh
when you feel this way
And you need someone to lean on.
And if you're ever
- ever too far away
Remember me
- I am the one
- remember me
- I am the one.
Remember me
I am the one who sees in your eyes
Remember me
I am the one who sees in your eyes.
Remember me
- I am yqur guardian angel
and I'll never let you fall.
And if you'Fe ever
ever In fear of danger
-
Remember me
- I am the one
- remember me
- I am the one
-
Who will turn
turn all your darkness to light in the morning.
You'll learn when yov're too hard on yovrself yov can call me.
Remember me
- oh
when you feel this way
. . .
Remember me
I am the one who sees in your eyes
Remember me
I am the one who sees in your eyes.
I can see you
yeah!
Remember me
I am the one who sees in your eyes
Remember me
I am the one who sees in your eyes.

My Memory Of You

My Memory of You…

I can remember the first time we met, the way
Your smile just lit up my day

I can remember how you kept helping me up
When I was down

I remember everything about you,
Your hair, your eyes, and that smile

I can remember your piercing blue eyes…
That make me weak

I remember our first kiss, and the way
You were so nervous

I can remember how shy you
Used to be

I don’t have to remember how much I loved you
Because I still can’t live without you

I remember all the pain, hurt, and fear
You put in my heart and my head

I remember how much I wanted to embrace you in my
Arms and not let any thing hurt you

I somehow can remember all of this… but
I can’t remember why… why you tried
To take your life

I remember how scared I was that you
Would actually do it this time

I remember all those things
I remember you

We Like To Be Reminded Of Our Presence

we get tired and try to take a nap
on a soft sofa in our sala

we lay there in silence
we do not want to talk
we simply want to close our eyes
and see things inside us

we remember a lot of things
a cup of coffee that we sip together
on a roadside cafe somewhere in france
we remember little things
like a pin, a ring, a handkerchief
then we move on to something
that knows what rotting means

a dry leaf, a mossy side of the pool
a dead tree, a rolling log, a cabin

then we get too engrossed in silence
and hazy places, a room dimly lit
by this halogen lamp creating a certain
warmth that we remember
some arms and hands and lips

we want something delightful
we begin to speak to someone beside us

how was your day? have you eaten your dinner?

then you transfer to your bed and then
you sleep and dream
with her beside you. You turn off the light.

Outside, it is dark like the color
of a woman's hair.

I remember you only you

When the day light kiss the moon and left in silent
I remember you
When the stars draw loves word in the sky
I remember you
When the drowsiness play with my eyes
I remember you
When the dreams flow in me
I remember you
When the words birth a poem
I remember you
When the sun force the darkness of night to leave
I remember you only you

Some Day I Won't Remember

Some Day I Won't Remember
How you smell or how you look
Some Day I Won't Remember
All the pieces of me you took
Some Day I Won't Remember
What it was like to kiss you in the rain
Some Day I Won't Remember
All the tears and all the pain
Some Day I Won't Remember
The feel of your skin
Some Day I Won't Remember
All our secrets and our sins
Some Day I Won't Remember
Staying up late at night to cry
Some Day I Won't Remember
That vivid blue-green color of your eyes
Some Day I Won't Remember
The passion that we used to share
Some Day I Won't Remember
What it felt like to have you there
Some Day I Won't Remember
The precious sound of your beating heart
And when that some day comes
I will entirely fall apart

Actually I Have Nothing To Say To You

so we meet again and you are seated
next to me
by chance our eyes meet and we remember the times
when once we were together
we were not lovers
we may think we were friends we ate together till the night comes
we drank on the same glass
of wine when our heads began to fly bubbles in the air

you ask me if i remember
how can i forget? it is you and it is always me still
by chance we meet again and
our eyes meet like the headlights
of two cars colliding one dark night

i still remember
there is nothing that hurts that always last
i still remember and i know you also remember
the screeching on the streets and the marks of shocked tires
we do not like to remember that which hurt us both
you have nothing to say and actually to be honest and

blatant about this meeting by chance
i have nothing to say but i could have told you i want simply to forget

you but i can't
forget you and erase you
you always leave this mark that i cannot just hate and believe

that you do not exist at all

A Walk Down My Memory Lane

Remember...
The day we wed.
Remember...
How we snuggled in bed.
Remember...
Walking in the oceans' sand,
Remember...
I'm in a hostile land.
Remember...
The ring, you're first surprise.
Remember...
My happy, green eyes.
Remember...
How I used to smile.
Remember...
Its been a long trial.
Remember...
My devotion.
Remember...
All my emotion.
Remember...
Christmas and Thanksgiving.
Remember...
To be open and giving.
Remember...
Our old birch tree.
Remember...
Remember me!
Remember...
The hot tub bath.
Remember...
Walking on the forest path..
Remember...
Your wedding gown.
Remember...
The love we found.
Remember...
When the war has passed.
Remember...
Our love will forever last.

Remember The Words

You got to believe me
Remember the words
Remember the words
When you're down on your knees
And without a friend
Standing afraid at the very end
Back on your own
Lonely and lost again
Try to forget what you're going through
Think of the things that you're gonna do
Lift up your eyes
Like they told you to
Told you to
Just remember the words
You are never on your own
You're not alone
Baby, now and forever
Remember the words
You are never all alone, not on your own
Baby say never ever
Baby say never ever
We go up
We go down
But we never stop
We're gonna work it until we drop
Moving along
You're gonna be on top
Don't be afraid you are not alone
Don't ever think you're on your own
Lift up your eyes
You'll make it home
Make it home
Just remember the words
You are never on your own
You're not alone
Baby, now and forever
Remember the words
You are never all alone, not on your own
Baby say never ever
You got to believe me
There is a reason
Why you're crying
And what ever you may do
Don't forget to keep on trying
Do what you got to do
I said believe in you
(Oh Yeah) Just remember the words
You are never on your own
You're not alone
Baby, now and forever
Remember the words
You are never all alone, not on your own
Baby say never ever
Just remember the words
You are never on your own
You're not alone
Baby, now and forever
Remember the words
You are never all alone, not on your own
Baby say never ever
Remember the words
Remember the words

Haec Olim Meminisse Iuvabit

one day
i look forward to this
that one day
you look back
on this group of words
and then you smile,

you remember something
that i once said
and then you trace
the exact hour
of the night where we
stayed together

you remember a touch
from my hand
you look back
close your eyes and
dream,

it is enough for me
once,
we both remember
and then
the light fades away

Remember When I Gave You That Rose?

Remember
Those times of yesteryear?
Remember
That night I held you near?
Remember
How we were so close?
Remember
That song we always chose?
Remember
The way we shared our mind?
Remember
How we were one of a kind?
Remember
Those words you spoke to me?
Remember
How clearly we would often see?
Remember
Your beauty and escentric pose?
remember
When I gave you that rose?

Remember Me

Find myself all alone
In darkness without you
Now I cant turn away
From what I must do
You know Id give my life for you
More than words can say
Ive shown you how to love someone
I know youll find a way
Say goodbye, close your eyes
Remember me
Walk away, the sun remains
Remember me
Ill live on somewhere in your heart
You must believe
Remember me
No way I can change my mind
I dont have the answers
If you could see through my eyes
Youd let go of your fears
And though I have to leave you now
With the thought of each other
Ill miss your touch
You call my name
I am with you forever
With the change, we cant explain
Remember me
You know Id give my life for you
More than words can say
I showed you how to love someone
I know youll find a way
Be there to watch over you
Remember me
Feel Im gone
My heart lives on
Remember me
Dont you think of this as the end
Ill come into your dreams
Remember me
Close your eyes
Say goodbye
Remember me
Say you will
Close your eyes
Remember me
Say you will
Say goodbye
Remember me
