Haec Olim Meminisse Iuvabit

one day
i look forward to this
that one day
you look back
on this group of words
and then you smile,

you remember something
that i once said
and then you trace
the exact hour
of the night where we
stayed together

you remember a touch
from my hand
you look back
close your eyes and
dream,

it is enough for me
once,
we both remember
and then
the light fades away
