something so plain is as obvious as
both of you
very well understand
there is that tinge of
little pains
but on a stormy day like this

have no time yet to speak about it

it is a matter of
experience, and common knowledge so
to speak, that

for those we do not understand fully
we say, - oh great!
and for those we half understand we say
- something is wrong

Evolution

used to be plain
understandable instructions
like a manual
of what to do
when the times get rough
or when so in love

and you like it
others say it is so obvious
and to the taste
buds, numbing and to the
nerves so boring

and then time has a way of
feeding you
its evolutionary coping up
mechanisms

from a mole you
turn things into a hill

a tadpole to a whale
a breeze to
a storm

no rules now
no guides to follow suit
just plain
rambling like a boat tossed
by the stormy sea

and deep down under
the sea
this sinking comes like
a true
phenomenon

corrals and fish and
electric eels
and ocean floors

mermaids dance
and some Britons
a Triton

a palace under the
sea
Atlantis reborn

now, it is you so different
and yet so equipped

and so misunderstood
like a river without banks.

Here we go.
She's a waitress at her corner,
Always dancin' nine-to-five.
Well, she ain't no supermodel,
But I'm here to tell you, she's fine, (Ha, ha.)
She's so fine, Johnny.
She's like the classic girl next door,
There's somethin' 'bout her walk:
There's somethin' that goes off inside,
Each time she starts to talk.

Nature's Vengeance

on the eye of the storm
you must see the cause of nature's outburst
if any boat insists
the whirlpool shall swallow lives
the wind shall crumple
the metallic wings
of the traveler

like us our eyes speak also
when our souls are tossed on a stormy sea
we only need to wait a little time
when the storm subsides
and then we begin again to speak

First 4 Stanzas of MY VERSION of 'The Raven' by E. A. Poe

Once upon a bright spring morning, while I pondered about the heat,
Over many a splendid and soothing volume of forgotten sound,
While I nodded, nearly speechless, suddenly there came a knocking.
As of someone gently tapping, tapping at my house all around.
' 'Tis some visitor, ' I whispered, 'tapping at my house all around-
Only this, 'twas all I found.'

Ah, distinctly I remember it was in the sparkling April,
And each separate blooming flower circled the room round.
Eagerly, I wished for more- I had to try to find
A dog of some sort that could hunt- maybe something like a hound-
For the rare and radiant maiden so she could have a hound-
Nothing else that I had found.

And the vibrant, vibrating uncertain rustling of each blue curtain
Thrilled me-filled me with fantastic elation never felt before;
So that now, to still the fast beats of my heart, I stood saying
' 'Tis some visitor trying to come in at my door weighing a pound-
Some late visitor trying to come on at my door weighing a pound-
This it is, it was all I found.'

Presently my soul grew in strength; hesitating for a short time,
'Sir, ' said I, 'or Madam, truly you have great reason for being profound;
But the fact that you are here, and so gently you came knocking
And so faintly did I hear you, tapping at my house all around.
That I knew you would be here' - here I opened the door weighing a pound-
An angel there, with beautiful seraph sound.
