a stinking dog sits below me
it has a way of feeling my feet
with its canal flavored tummy
affection it shows
and that i must understand
despite the dislike
i must somehow reciprocate it
with a pat on its

Hate And Dislike
Hate and dislike are not the same thing between them the difference is great
We well may not like everybody but our dislike should not give way to hate
For hatred leads people to bad crimes since hatred as a feeling is very intense
The feeling of hatred is noxious and is poison to common sense.
Some commit murder due to hatred and than murder there is no worse a crime
Their hatred has landed them in prison for to serve a lengthy span of jail time
Their life it is ruined forever and darkness envelopes their soul
Suppose that is what's bound to happen when hatred is out of control.
Hate and dislike are two different creatures and though dislike to hatred can grow
Hate in it has got far more venom those who hate mercy will not show
Whilst those who dislike you may not harm you at least not in a physical way
And if you asked me to choose between them I would choose dislike any day.

The Smell of a Dog
I love the way a dog smells.
Ever since I was a boy,
I have loved the smell of a dog's paws,
leathery pads, edged with fur,
that absorb the rich, musty fragrances
of where the dog and I have been
in our adventures together.
I love the smell of the top of a dog's head,
where the fur is smoother than at any other
part of the animal
and is usually cleaner, too.
The top-of-the-head smell is fresher than the paw,
more like the smell of a little boy's hair
at the end of a summer's day in the sun.
I don't mind
the faint smell of skunk on a dog,
(but only if it's faint) .
Snuggling down for a nap
with my skunk flavored companion
lying next to me
puts me back in another time,
when the world was new,
waiting to be explored and discovered
by my friends and me and our dogs;
when the little lame balloon man
was simply another reason to wonder.
Hugs
Hugs are for affection
given to those you care about.
I use them as my trademark
then the ladies know I am about.
One lady that I know
whenever we meet
to hug me takes a flying leap
nearly knocking me off my feet.
Another lady that I know
when she hugs me I have the feeling
she never wants to let me go.
Everyone loves a hug
as it shows you care.
Even our pets like a hug
as it shows them we are there.
Therefore, when you meet someone
you like or love,
give them a big hug
and let your affections flow.

An affectionate gesture
Kiss, kiss and kiss without any hiss
You are gifted with emotions so not to miss
It is not be taken as affront and objected
It is kind of affection and shan’t be rejected
Loving father can paste it on forehead
The affection and love is clearly read
The message is loud and very clear
Parents have taken long years to rear
It need not be confined to its narrow meaning
It may construed as distrust and demeaning
How can we lower our image by confining?
Let us understand it clearly by defining
At every stage we nee d love and affection
It has got its own action and reaction
There is no addition or subtraction
It is purely accidental and with affection
Lover boy may offer it with flower
He may express it in rainy shower
I may be understood by only fewer
Still he may go in for clear answer
What will be exchanged in return?
Who will respond and reciprocate in turn
There may be feeling of desire’s burn
We have lot many things yet to learn
Think of mother’s love to her kid
We can certainly take a lead
We might have across many times and read
It must rest peacefully in our head
There is no parallel for expression of love
Have you ever seen the love expressed by doves?
They swim across the lake and raise the voice
They have free will and have every choice
We are human beings and have sense to express
We may enjoy all the time but cry in duress
There is feeling at every stage
We should try to come out of cage
Love and hate are different syndromes
One may not influence each other and overcome
One may lead to frustration and uncontrollable rage
Other may help you to over come and manage
Have you ever witness joy on boy’s face in street?
When he is patted on back and emotionally greeted?
He is not being given anything which is uncommon?
Bu it is the best form of love always given and known
How a person reacts to grief when faced with imminent death?
His body is shivering with fear of departure and lying of wreath?
He is totally engulfed with the thought of effects aftermath
How disparately his soul dips into emotions to take bath?
Love is precious thing God has bestowed on everybody
It has to be expressed at proper time and proper place with anybody
No one may mind if there is clear intent of its expression

When I got told the other day, you said won't it be nice
To spend some time and share a look there was no thinking twice
The die was cast no time to lose as much as one can say
