That Yummy To The Tummy Done
Chasing to escape a common placement,
Is a taste one wishes to keep sweet.
Once the taste of achievement...
Stays to cling on a tongue,
With the licking of the lips done.
And that yummy to the tummy...
Has a difficult time for one to overcome.
When treated the first time,
No one thinks of addiction.
Or a thought that something would stick...
With a desire wished that solicits a wanting more of it!
Chasing to escape a common placement,
Is a taste one wishes to keep sweet.
Once the taste of achievement...
Stays to cling on a tongue,
With the licking of the lips done.
And that yummy to the tummy...
Has a difficult time for one to overcome.
And that yummy to the tummy...
Has a difficult time to overcome.
That yummy to the tummy done...
One never forgets its deliciousness.
Or the first time lips were licked.
That yummy to the tummy done..
Ahhh.
A tummy with a yummy comes,
Ahh ahh...
That yummy to the tummy coming with a yum yum.
That yummy to the tummy done..
Ahhh.
A tummy with a yummy comes,
Ahh ahh...
That yummy to the tummy coming with a yum yum.
That yummy to the tummy done..
Ahhh.
A tummy with a yummy comes,
Ahh ahh...
That yummy to the tummy coming with a yum yum.
That yummy to the tummy done,
Ahhh.

There once was a turkey named Chummy,
Mom thought that he might be quite yummy.
He waddled away
On Thanksgiving Day -
But still ended up in my tummy!

I wish I was a Donut
I wish I was a donut,
And got eaten everyday.
I could stick on someone’s fingers,
Squishy testy like cookie dough,
In a most delightful way,
So they wouldn’t mind.
I wish I was a donut,
Sugar coated just for fun,
To slide into your mouth, down your throat, and into your tummy.
I’m so tasty everyone would like me.
Pass me around or share me with your pale.
I wish I was a donut,
Filled with yummy cream,
I am sure you’ll enjoy me,
All you’ll hear is the sound of sucking me down,
Licking your lips and wanting more of me.
I’d be in the spot light,
The star of the show.
I wish I was a donut,
Deliciousness will fill your mouth,
And your taste buds will enter a moist smooth dream world,
After the first taste of me.
I would be candy to a cop,
And a surgery treat to a child.
I wish I was a donut,
Don’t you?

Healthy fruit - Guava!
While I entered into my kitchen,
The aroma of a nice fruit pierced my nose!
It gave an euphoria to my sense,
O' It is a smell of Guava!
Yellow in color,
Ripened in nature,
It invited me to eat
and taste;
I took the fruit in my hand,
I took the knife too kept aside,
I cut the fruit gently with care,
into pieces of four;
I tasted the fruit, Guava,
It was yummy yummy,
Very tasty and yummy,
Healthy fruit - Guava!

Ode to S'mores
An ode to s’mores
I love them more
Every single day
Nice and sweet
My favorite treat
I’d eat them anyway
Tasty and yummy
Inside my tummy
Give me more I say
I do adore
My cherished s’mores
I’ll eat them June through May
Soft n fluffy
Big n puffy
They make me want to play
Or when I’m mad
And feeling sad
They chase my clouds away
An ode to s’mores
I want some more
Every single day
If we ran out
I’d have to shout,
“MOM, get some more today! ”

Those Creams
Clotted and sour, whipped and double,
All delicious when laid on the tongue,
One could find oneself in deep trouble,
It's hard, keeping the figure young.
They melt with so much pleasure,
When you deem to taste their charm,
And if you're sampling them at leisure,
They can do you a lot of harm.
Inches creep onto your waistline,
And without warning, before very long,
Your poor body becomes less divine,
And your willpower, becomes less strong.
The flavoured ones, they are so yummy,
Nutty mixtures, with chocolate and fudge,
But they're no good at all for your tummy,
And will not help those inches to budge.
Those creams call out, waiting to tempt you,
And so you really just have to resist,
You should try out the 'Weight Watchers' menu,
Now then girls, do you follow the gist?

If I Ever Was a Snake
If I was a snake, my eyes would be green,
I would wander the land and look real mean.
If I was a snake, I'd know how to sting,
Despite all the trouble it would bring.
If I was a snake, I'd be red and gold,
I would slither and slather and eat my mice cold.
If I was a snake, I'd rattle my tail,
But I'd be polite and never go to jail.
If I was a snake, I'd slide on my tummy,
Hamsters and mice would be real yummy.
If I was a snake, I'd live on the ground,
Sleeping and snoring 'till I was found.
I would never learn how to rake,
If I ever was a snake.

Greengage Jam
I'm a jar of Greengage Jam
And I'm upset because of a remark made by a man
JJ is his name, he's tall, good looking and funny
Because one day he said ‘I love the taste of sweet honey'
Well that for me is not what I expected to hear
Not when only this morning he called me ‘dear'
We would always meet for breakfast at around 8
And before he picks me up and spreads me on his plate
He'd carefully pop my top off and look inside and say ‘wow you do look yummy'
And take a mouthful with a spoon that quickly disappears in his tummy
With a smile he'd then put me on his shoulder so he could hear
These loving words - ‘thank you my dear'
But this time, before he could put me down to finish his tea
I shouted loudly - 'Marry Me, Marry Me'
To which he promptly and calmly replied - ‘let's talk about it later'
And quickly put me back in the refrigerator
Now I'm just another pot of jam left in the dark and cold
Somewhere deep at the back alongside an out-of-date cheese with lots of mould.

It’s all about the Chocolate!
When certain holidays come around
I have often noticed it is true
It’s all about the chocolate
It is for me, now, how about you?
First on the holiday list is, of course
Valentine’s Day at the top of the year
Boxes of chocolate candies
Or chocolate roses sweet and clear
Easter is right around the corner then
Chocolate eggs and bunnies so sweet
Fancy paper wrapped around chocolate
Is such a wonderful treat
Of course, at Christmas there are Santa’s
In every shape and size
Finding them in the Christmas stocking
Is always a wonderful surprise
There is chocolate on a stick as well
They are so creamy and so yummy
Chocolate fountains with special treats
Are just perfect for my tummy
It really doesn’t matter at all, however
You can just be sad or stuck in a rut
Go visit the candy counters ‘cause
It is all about the chocolate!

Mom, I'm Hungry
A funny in my tummy
I want to eat something yummy
I grabbed the phone to call my mommy
And told her, 'mom, I am hungry'
When my mom came home she baked me a cake
I munched and I crunched the cake she had baked
After a while my stomach had growl
The word mommy I just howl
My mom came as quickly as she could
And gave me snacks that looked so good
She gave fruits that looked so nice
And a glass of water she filled with ice
After I ate
My stomach had ache
I never knew I ate so many
I'll never eat food so plenty
I always say 'Mom, I'm hungry' at our house or even outside. I made this when I was in the 6th grade.

A Story (feat. Pierre Henry)
I got a story
A sad sad story
About a girl
Who met a boy
About her mother
Whose vision saw her
Daughter to marry
Another boy
(Nooo nooo nooo...)
They made a plan
To get away
To run away
And though it be hard
To make that day
Freely to live
Without the mother
They'd send a postcard
(Nooo nooo nooo...)
Out on the interstate
That's where they made their mistake
That's where they met their fate
Out on the interstate
They met a monster
The monster of the interstate
Who will not hesitate
Who eats teenagers
Like a shark eats little fishes
Who eats bad kids disobeying parents wishes
An interloper against the elopers
A troll at the pay toll
They stopped at the toll booth
And reached for a quarter
The monster filled the whole booth
He gave them no quarter
"Don't eat me"
Chirped the girl
Clutching to her purse
"Don't eat me"
Croaked the boy
"Or eat her first
I'll turn right around
And take her back to her mother's
We repent of being out of wedlock lovers"
"You should have thought of that before"
And a scaly horny hand
Ripped the car lock door
And the boy
Tried to drive
But oh boy
He was eaten alive
And the girl
Tried to scream
But she was swirled
In the giant's vanilla ice cream
And the boy was yummy
And the girl was yummy
As they slid down the throat
To the monster's yellow tummy
He said:
"Hmm hmm good
Didn't do like they should
Hmm hmm good
Didn't do like they should"
The mother sold the
Rights to the story
It was so scary
This gory story
They made a movie
A horror movie
The mother made a million
And the producers made a billion
"And that other sweet boy
That my daughter has shunned
Now I'm his wife and he's my husband"
The moral of this story
Is clear for all to see
And if clearly all can see
Then it isn't clear to me

Second Helping Anyone?
Savor the fine flavor, they're the pride of Birmingham,
And if your down in Jackson, try them with some June Bug Jam.
Go ask Billy Bob or Bubba and they'll say 'Sweet Lord above,
It's Goat Guts and Garlic Grits that we do dearly love! '
Sweet Lacey Jo and Betsy Leigh
Spice them up nice in Tennessee
And they're served around the clock
A little south of Little Rock!
Oh, they claim that folks inhale 'em
In Charleston and Winston-Salem!
In Lexington and Atlanta
Children leave them out for Santa!
A Tradition that's very old, a Redneck specialty I'm told.
They're yummy in the tummy, wish they'd serve them at the Ritz...
Any rebel down in Dixie knows by the smell that it's...
Them good ole Goat Guts and them Garlic Grits!

Good-By Now or Pardon My Gauntlet
Bring down the moon for genteel Janet;
She's too refined for this gross planet.
She wears garments and you wear clothes,
You buy stockings, she purchases hose.
She say That is correct, and you say Yes,
And she disrobes and you undress.
Confronted by a mouse or moose,
You turn green, she turns chartroose.
Her speech is new-minted, freshly quarried;
She has a fore-head, you have a forehead.
Nor snake nor slowworm draweth nigh her;
You go to bed, she doth retire.
To Janet, births are blessed events,
And odors that you smell she scents.
Replete she feels, when her food is yummy,
Not in the stomach but the tummy.
If urged some novel step to show,
You say Like this, she says Like so.
Her dear ones don't die, but pass away;
Beneath her formal is lonjeray.
Of refinement she's a fount, or fountess,
And that is why she's now a countess.
She was asking for the little girls' room
And a flunky though she said the earl's room.

Grandma's Gorgeous Boy
There's a chuckle in the tummy
Of Grandma's gorgeous boy
Laughter curls in his intestines,
like spaghetti, a la joy.
And the merest hint of jelly beans,
buy's dimples, two per smile.
Every burst of hearty laughter
Chocolate fish in single file
There's a chuckle in the tummy
Thousand, ways of being coy.
A scolding, drowns in misty eyes
he's, Grandma's gorgeous boy.

Roxee And El Duque
Roxee and El Duque are like cute stuffed toys,
Roxee is the girl and El Duque is the boy.
Roxee is the trouble maker for she eats a whole bag of chews,
Nancy calls her a cute nickname, it’s Roxee Poo.
Roxee is half Maltese and also half Havanese,
she got away with eating a ball from the Christmas tree.
Luckily the vet gave her a chew that would clear out her tummy,
I heard it worked like magic even though it wasn’t yummy.
Roxee’s brother is a barker whose eyes hide behind his hair,
he is from Havana Cuba where cigar smoke fills the air.
He will bark when he meets you hopefully you don’t care,
Roxee you can pet her she’ll be standing right there.
El Duque has a cousin who was in a dog show,
he won a ribbon which is nice to know.
Now Scott made Roxee and El Duque a fun dog blog,
I will put their poem up on a blog entitled Dragonchester Dogs.
So if you see Roxee and El Duque standing side by side,
come up and pet them, they are really not that shy.

After Listening To A Friend
okey, i got a basketball
for a tummy
and you advise that i
take the exercises
you tell me: stretches
ball, abs, i have to do
abs in 20-repetitions
regularly everyday
got to eat less carbs
more fresh veggies
more fruits to detox
my ugly body
avoid stress take yoga
chant and have my
private peace
gym must be regular
must have discipline
no smoking and
strictly no alcohol
oh, it took me
ten years to earn this
shapely tummy
took care of it
put more fat and
had more sleep than
needed
there were more
expensive pizza and
burgers and cakes
in there
had put more investments
deposited money in there
let me think if i have to remove
it, but if yes, definitely,
not just in a day, a week,
or month, can't promise
i love myself, and my
appearance sadly does not
matter, but i may change
if i don't die earlier than
the time frame that God
gives to hopeless men.

Homage To The Turkey......[Humor; Holiday Food]
Carmi suggested this poem paying homage to a bird,
but first I had to consult a book to get a definition of that word.
'Homage' definition #2 is 'special honor or respect....publicly' shown.
Is the special honor therefore having ones flesh cut off ones bones?
Perhaps instead the honor comes in being 'served' with ceremony
at Thanksgiving, when a turkey's status soars above that of baloney.
As a kid I'd join for holiday feasts with assorted kin,
and await the carving of the naked headless bird with the golden skin.
Hours in a hot oven, accompanied by periodic basting,
produced a festive centerpiece which was well worth tasting.
And from its drippings gravy was made to drench potatoes yummy,
and cooked inside the bird was spicy stuffing, soon to fill my tummy.
And when the bones were stripped of meat, with none left for the flies,
I'd seek out the wishbone, the potentially-lucky prize.
So here's to you, the Turkey, who Ben Franklin thought much of.
We hope you rest in avian peace, when you reach Turkey Heaven above.
