Proper Anonymity

at the age of fifty
i should have been somebody else
someone great
greater than the sun
famous, rich and
powerful

somebody
bigger than a rock boulder
beside an old mountain
for which travelers look at me
as a great story that they
can always tell to their
children and grandchildren
on the night times of
their lifetime

i could have been a strong river
wider than a lake
bringing all sand and silt and
storing them all
in my own huge basin
where all tourist come and
praise and then plunge themselves
for the unforgettable swim
of their lives
in the watery belly of
my greatness

but at the age of fifty
(just like everyone else
who drown themselves in the alcoholic
contents of their bottles
and who smoke their cigarettes
endlessly like a chimney
in winter)
i am still a nobody
my name is very ordinary
and people who pass by
do not even give a glimpse
as though i am, at least,
a human being
with the face like the moon
boosted by
a crown of stars

i dream,
i dream big, much bigger than your dreams
when i was young
but all my dreams have become wasted
dumped and burned and
in-order to live in peace
i have forgotten all of them
buried them alive
screams drowned six feet below
the ground

this is existence now
it is not i who is the center of this universe
it is the sun or
someone else who still believes that he is the sun
or can be
with all possibilities statistics-wise
the only sun
surrounded by all the planets
and accommodated by
the vast expanse
of space

my mother says i have become a mature man
by this she means
i have accepted what i am and where my place is

i guess we all have the same story
we are finally here
in the greatness and peace of
our own anonymity

in the ordinariness of routine
waiting for our own
chosen (hopefully) happy ending

Sonnet: On Greatness

Greatness is not a thing, much like an art;
Some man turns great if on it he stumbles;
His greatness ceases, if he thinks, he's great;
Great is he truly who tho' great, humbles.

Greatness is not true greatness, self-proclaimed;
Greatness is not what world showers on us;
Greatness is neither got by being claimed.
Greatness is not achieved by making fuss.

Greatness could come if world decides to give;
Greatness will stay if God blesses our work;
Such greatness, God-destined comes while men live;
Greatness can grow even without much luck.

Greatness doesn't come to everyone on earth;
Some men are made great; some are great by birth.

A Peom For K. (The Banker With All The Conflicting Interests)

i shall now write
a poem for my happiest day,

it is all about an old, scheming and fraudulent
woman
stacking all her money and the money of the other
people

inside her room
inside her house and inside
her bigger storehouses

she says
these are all for her children

and grandchildren and the children
of all her grandchildren and

all the coming children of more
grandchildren & great great grandchildren

what is mad about this is
that she is taking the money due

to other people who are hungry and innocent
and gullible

but she is a very
wise woman and she gets what she wants
she gets what she all wants
practically everything that her hands can
hold her eyes can see

perhaps

forgetting that soon she will be
made to pay for the price of her greed

and avarice and dirty schemes and
foul techniques and it will be for all

her children and grandchildren and the children
of all her grandchildren and

all the coming children of more
grandchildren all the coming children of more
great grandchildren &
great great grandchildren

...and then justice shall reign

but when it comes
i shall not see this event anymore
but i will be happy

>>>ii

Inspiration Dream

At night
When I am asleep
I dream so many things
That are inspiring

I dream of poverty ending
I dream of everyone finding work
I dream of becoming an accomplished writer
These are just a few of my inspiring dreams

I dream during storms
I dream during the day
I dream in gardens
I dream daily and nightly

Dreams are like stars
They appear and disappear
Each and every day
And everyone rich and poor
Famous and not famous
Have their own dreams
That they want to achieve

So go after your dreams
And let them inspire you

Dream Operator

When you were little
You dreamed you were big
You must have been something
A real tiny kid
You wish you were me
I wish I was you
Now dont you wake up
The dream will come true
Every dream has a name
And names tell your story
This song is your dream
Youre the dream operator
Its bigger than life
You know its all me
My face is a book
But its not what it seems
Three angels above
The whole human race
They dream us to life
They dream me a face
And every dream tells it all
And this dream is your story
You dreamed me a heart
Youre the dream operator
Shake-it-up dream
Hi-di-ho dream
Fix-it-up dream
Look at me dream
Ive been waiting so long
Now I am your dream
Hard to forget
Hard to go on
When you fall asleep
Youre out on your own
Let go of your life
Grab on to my hand
Here in the clouds
Where well understand
And you dreamed it all
And this is your story
Do you know who you are?
Youre the dream operator
And you dreamed it all
And this is your story
Do you know who you are?
Youre the dream operator

Our Own Greatness

We do not need kingdoms
To be kings, we do not need
Lands and money to be rich
And be powerful and be famous
And be great to the eyes of men

We only need our simple selves
At peace within our hearts
Admiring the greatness of God
And His Wondrous creations

We only need this humble humanity
Inside us always looking at the
Others’ mysteries always thinking
The true world beyond us on this journey

Our own greatness lies in our being ourselves
Knowing what we are and fulfilling the purpose
Of why we are here and what we are destined to be...there

I Dream, Do You

Do you have dreams, Well I do
I dream of wonderful things
I dream of things yet to come
I dream of things some may say is dumb
I dream of love not just the word I mean real love
I dream of of a place where there is no war
I dream of a good answer to what we fight for
I dream of floating in the clouds free with no worry
I dream of a president who can just say sorry
I dream of reading a book thats begins with 'what is hate'
I dream of a country, thats completely great
I dream of life beyond the one we live today
I dream of a time when all kids do is learn and play
Ok time to wake up to reality
I was loving my dream now im mad at me for waking up
Life here in the real world can be so crazy
I guess the bigger part of me wishes I was stil a baby
Some of my dreams may come true
I know thats not true and so do you
But I will continue to believe my dream will come true
Because my dream was so wonderful, so I shared it with you

Dreamz

what is a dream if you cant achieve it
what is a dream if you dont believe it
i want my dreams to all come true
i want my dreams to be shared with you
a dream is a place of magical things
a dream is a place where bluebirds sing
all our dreams we are longing for
a dream of you that i adore
why is dreams all filled with joy
when after a dream it is destroyed
why is dreams of something we cant have
when we dream of the things we once had
dreams come with so many meanings
happy and sad so many feelings
so why do we dream if it hurts inside
when we watch our dreams all fade and die
if i was a dream id fly away
id dream of happiness and make it stay
what is a dream with no ending
why do dreams start descending
what is a dream that aint complete
why are dreams so discreet
dreams are full of many things
dreams are full of true feelings
believe in dreams and youll succeed
believe in dreams yes i do indeed

Dreams and Dreamers

No one exists
With out experience
Of the dream.

Nature also has the experience
Of dreams.

The rainbow is
Dream of clouds,
Twinkling stars are
Dreams of the night,
Flowers are
Dreams of the earth,
Moon is
Dream of the sun,
Woman is
Dream of a man,

Smile is
Dream of the tears,

Poetry is
Dream of the words,
False is
Dream of the truth,

Human is
Dream of the God,
Dream of human is
Dream of the dreams!

Dream,
It is a display of sight (view)
In closed eyes,
Action of the sleep
And riddle of the slumber, (deep sleep)
Solitude of the seclusion,
Mirror of the wounds,
Mumble of the mind,
Windows of the paradise,
Language of an individual
Les’ understood by himself,

Dream is a
Modern poetry
Has no syllable and meter,
Dream is a
Divine power of human, (desolation, super natural, forlorn)
Dream is not a myth
But it is a naked truth,

Dream is a secret room
Of an individual
He rest there
With his genuine face,

Dream is
Incubator of a man,
Dream is wings
Of an individual,
Dream is
A lighthouse of man
Dreams are
Colors of a man
To glorify his
Black and white life;

Let all of us praise for men
Who love the dreams,
And we express
Our sympathy to all men
who live in dreams too….

I Am A Dreamer!

I dream of life
each and every day how it could be better
If things were this or that way

I dream of happiness
Hope it comes to each giving them
reason to live and peace

I dream of love
Something I know so well
In my heart it's there as wonderful
As a breath of fresh air

I dream of peace and harmony
Friendships and family of all the
Joys they share

I dream of goodness
To fill the land, for great crops to
Give to feed each needy hand

I dream even when reality is
So hard to bear
I dream with great dreams to share

Our Dreams

what a dream we all have,
An image we all crave.
A unique and wonderful picture,
Of a special and outstanding future.
Built with the desire of the heart,
Made easy when not torn apart.
A voice stronger than rock,
An exceptional vision that can never be mock.
With a zeal of consciousness,
Attaining the site of greatness.
Our dreams may have some ordinary introduction,
But with an extraordinary definition.
A dream that will shine the light,
Through the darkest of the night.
A dream never heard of before,
And a dream never seen before.
It may have some beginning misery,
But it will surely have an ending victory.

Dream Dreams

10,000 angels
rise and sing,
for every soul
that finds a dream -

Let the children of children dream dreams
from heaven on high,
and receive their sweet visions
that never shall die -

Dream dreams, you dreamers
of peace, and love,
beautiful prayers answered
from up above -

All God's children come together
and dare now rise,
Let all your great dreams
come fully alive!

Listen. You shall hear:
the chorus of unnumbered angels in song drawing near,
praising the Grace of dreams
drempt, without fear -

Dreams (Inspired-Desire from Visions in the Night)

Is it just a dream - to dream?
Or can one intelligently
And with honest hope inquire:
' What does a dream, truly mean? '
Is the dream given or allowed
To each their own,
Or across the masses to the crowd?
From God, or the soul,
How to be certain, how to know?
From Heaven's throne, or from the depth's of the human mind?
For one alone, or all mankind?
Shall we be allowed arcanumly to know
Just some of what was missed
From afar, through a dim glimpse?
Could it all possibly be
From somewhere beyond us all,
An endless soft echo
In a very old call?
One that is only to be heard
When the mind has settled quiet,
Into the time when the soul alone gathers words?
Or,
Is the dream as gift given
Hope to arouse and awaken.......
Hope for what awaits
Just out of sight, right beyond Heaven's open gates,
Thus in meager human faith
Tis meant true expectancy to create.......

If it really is more
Than just a dream - to dream,
Then perchance it is nothing less than vision,
A guiding gift given
Part of a much larger plan
Beyond the sight of man,
Originating from the Being
Within everything.

From whence and why
Do this querulous questions arise?
I know not for certain
I can only here in simple words
Ponder upon them,
And the mysterious reason they return
Again and again.

It would surely seem
Dreamy sights travel mostly by nights'
With perhaps a scent of mystery, of the once was, and the yet to be.
Or maybe they just come with a comforting thought
And the sweet peace it may have here to us brought.

Sleepy dreams
Like stars throughout the night,
Constant dark companions
Never to be touched
Nor fully known,
Not even the reason -if there be one-
To be wholly shown;
Yet, faithfully there,
Even if their purpose we are unaware.

A story possibly to show
Given from the Story-Teller
Who wrote them on our hearts
So long ago;
For now we sit in exile,
This temporary land to last only a little while;
Some messages may very well be sent
With a reason to behold,
One that surely must come
From the great Ages of old,
Even if shrouded in a fallen translation,
Tis still our story, everyone's story,
Even my story,
Waiting, and so wanting to be told.

Never Ending Story

Turn around
Look at what you see (yeah)
In her face
The mirror of your dreams (whoa)
Make believe Im everywhere
Hidden in the lines
Written on the pages
Is the answer to a never ending story
Never ending story
Reach the stars
And fly a fantasy (yeah)
Dream a dream
And what you see will be (yeah yeah yeah)
Rhymes that keep their secrets
Will unfold behind the clouds
And there upon the rainbow
Is the answer to a never ending story
Never ending story
Story...
Never ending story
(go!)
Show no fear
For she may fade away (yeah)
In your hands
The birth of the new day (yeah yeah yeah)
Rhymes that keep their secrets
Will unfold behind the clouds
And there upon a rainbow
Is the answer to a....
Never ending story... (whoa whoa whoa) (x4)

The Peace Of The Man And The Dragon

finally we have found peace,
the outcome of the war,
as we have seen greatness since,
as we have seen light and darkness,
the king welcomes us for a meeting,
we gave a great toast to peace to the lands,
and the lost honored in memory,
we have found the light,
as soon as we've seen the great light of peace,
our people have became the allies of peace,
we have seen our men attacked in the night,
for peace has prevailed for now.

The Lake Poets

You have heard of William Wordsworth he was bard of Cockermouth
And he truly was a great poet if that ever was in doubt
And with Southey and With Coleridge they became known as the lake poets
And they made the Lake District famous and some famous poems they wrote.

Robert Southey was a fine poet he was slave to poetry
And he was for awhile Poet Laureate proves the great poet he must be
And though he is not well known as Coleridge and Wordsworth's is a greater name
He tends to be under rated and deserve a better fame.

And as for Samuel Taylor Coleridge a name verse critics celebrate
His works were born of genius a poetic all time great
The Rhyme Of The Ancient Mariner his masterpiece and some say
Is even greater than the famous elegy of Gray

And as for himself Will Wordsworth his fame seem to grow and grow
He has fifty times as many readers nowadays as he had one hundred years ago
When one talks of poets and poetry Wordsworth's name can't be left out
A testimony to the greatness of the Bard of Cockermouth.

Coleridge, Southey and Wordsworth geniuses all three
Their names inscribed in glory and poetic history
They lived in the Lake District that beautiful English country side
And due to the fame of these men the Lake District is known World wide.

Dreams, What Greatness Is Made Of!

A thought
A dream
A glimmer of light that takes Flight
In the midde of the Night
These are the things of Greatness
For time is of of the essence
There can be no lateness
To reach the pinnacle
The time for action
is now
Do Not Bow
Take your dream into action
For it is with a thought
A Dream
that great things are built on! !
Freedom: Built on A Dream
We have America
Electricity: Built on A Dream
We have Heat
Dreams What Greatness is made of
Thoughts into action what Greatness is made of!

Story

I love story.
Truly I do.
And always will.
Of the best of them
I shall not ever
Get my fill.
They are never read, told, shared or sung
In vain,
They create, live and give
An allegorical ardor to life and being
That in no other form
Can anyone find or explain.
Yet,
the fact remains,
for each persons story
'tis the same:
Wherever great fictional stories
Are shown or told,
New or old,
There is a moment of climax, fantasy,
Where the main character overcomes confrontation.
And from that moment on everything is good, o.k.,
Pure and perfect transformation.......

Real life is story too,
One big Story
Filled with every human's sub-story,
All just as real, and true.
With the full ability to be every bit as great,
Word for word,
As any fiction
Ever told and heard.
With one powerful and true exception:
In the story of our human reality
The conflict may lesson,
But never, here and now, does it ever cease.
In this life, no matter what else,
There just will not be
Perfect, never-ending beauty and peace.
It's a fantastic fable
That from a moment forward
Life can be happily ever after;
No such thing has God here promised.
Only upon Christ's return
Shall tears and pain completely give way
To joy, dancing, and laughter.
Death to evil's horrid beast,
Finally and fully finished
At the great and glorious wedding feast!

But, tis not yet so;
Tis futile to think
For anyone life is unfragile,
We are all so soon wind-swept,
Our time, place and position on earth
Is never ours to be savored and kept...
So the story goes on and on
To it's final chapter,
Where the great author alone
Writes in the wonderous finish:
'The Eternal Happily Ever After'.

Sweet Dreams

Sweet dreams are made of many things
The different thoughts that we constantly think
The very things that that lie in our fantasies
And create a thought that's tenaciously sweet
That we savor so much while soundly asleep
Things that can only happen in dreams

My sweet dreams are made of you
The perfect moments and the perfect gloom
The perfect place and the perfect dream
But whatever could be more perfect than you?
Is only what I can conjure in my sleep

Life is a reality and dreams are the opposite
It's the time we find peace from every worry
It's a place where every story has a happy ending
It's a place where every person has a chance to be happy
It's a place where you and I have a happy ending

A cradle song before we sleep
And escape the grimes of reality
And the things that keep you away from me
Life is a reality and dreams are the opposite
Dreams are the sweetest and life is life
In my dreams you and I are happy
But in reality... life is life.
Sweet dreams are made of many things
And mine are made of you

Family Sweet Dreams

The moon dressed in her nightly attire
Showing only a glimpse of her crescent shape,
Heralds the nightly rest of sleeping mortals
Windows yellow darkens with curtain drape,
Smoke thins from the chimney portals
As a lonely dog howls at the locked door.
Midnight strikes silently as dreams begin
The cat purrs stretched out on the floor,
Mother dreams of holiday isles
Punting Father dreams of another winner,
The boy’s toys dreamt, stretch for miles
Labrador whimpers for a never ending dinner,
No way will the mouse dream to please
He creeps past the snoozing fat cat,
To search and seize crumbs of cheese
The end of the chain knows where his dinner is at,
Crawling in with knife and fork in hand
The cockroach to the kitchen silent and fast,
As sleepers dream, .....Goes for dinner so grand,
As night ticks on the morning wakes to the alarm clock blast.
Dreams at end the family jump out of bed
Another day alive another night is dead.
