On This Date
i still remember
how is it to stay in a room
and lock it for a day or two
not watching TV
neither talking to a friend
nor eating anything
early fasting for an early
black bird
nesting on my head
i agree with you
there is no amount of comfort
no flower or cloud
can sway my lips to smile
it was bitter
something so hard to swallow
time is a comforting mother
nurturing a child
crying in the wilderness

Autobiography
My father made the walls resound,
He wore his collar the wrong way round.
When I was five the black dreamscame;
Nothing after was quite the same.
When I woke they did not care;
Nobody, nobody was there.
In my childhood trees were green
And there was plenty to be seen.
When my silent terror cried,
Nobody, nobody replied.
I got up; the chilly sun
Saw me walk away alone.
My mother wore a yellow dress;
Gentle, gently, gentleness.
The dark was talking to the dead;
The lamp was dark beside my bed.
Come back early or never come.
Come back early or never come.
Come back early or never come.
Come back early or never come.
Come back early or never come.
Come back early or never come.
Come back early or never come.
Come back early or never come.

Predator Prey Early Morning
i could be an early bird today
that catches no worm
but i do not really mind
being early is enough
having to find something to eat
because there is nothing yet
to prey upon a chance
is another
at most
an early bird does its best
one time
after another
time
till it is finally
eaten
by another early predator
who makes
the same complaint

From Dusk to Dawn
As the end of the day takes on a stillness,
and the daylight blue changes to grey.
The twilight suddenly becomes quite noisy
as the birds have their last say.
They flutter for position on the branches
and disturb the stillness of the leaves.
Squabbling for their night-time roosts,
with the magpies dominating with ease.
It takes quite a while for the birds to settle,
but there's a disagreeable one,
and that one brings mayhem to the treetops,
until persuaded it's time to move on.
As dawn approaches there's a movement,
a bird changes its place of stay.
An early bird welcomes in the new morning
as it gets its first sight of day.
Early hours and the treetops are waking,
the magpie tidies its wings and tail.
Yesterday’s bread is much too hard to swallow,
so it swoops down, and wets it in the pail.

Too Early Her Sunset
Oh, so much of drowning regrets!
When faced with too early a sunset
Time seems to have been cheating
And the Future is just disappearing.
Life becomes fast drifting sands
We fail to hold in our weakened hands
Dreams and plans like mists are set
To fade like fog in too early a sunset.
Too early to think of sleep and rest
Too early for having Death as guest
Why does it seem that Fate forgets
Not to come early, too early for sunset?
It pains and grieves my frail heart so
Words to comfort, how? I don't know.
She hangs on there till the End is met
No choice but to go, too early her sunset.
For Eden, my friend. (Brain cancer victim at 38.)

Port Fairy In Spring
In Port Fairy by the ocean nesting birds chirp and sing
On a sunny day in early September in the early Spring
In a lovely old place on a beautiful day
The Spring is in town for her annual three months stay
In the home gardens and parklands shrubs and trees and flower beds in their flowers
And the coastal lands green after recent Spring showers
In Victoria Spring is such a lovely time of the year
And with each passing day warmer weather is near
The mud nesting magpie larks call out pee wee all day
From Utopia Port Fairy does not seem far away
Near Griffith Island one can hear the ocean's loud din
As the big waves at high tide to the beach rumbles in
In the old coastal town for it's beauty well known
Port Fairy it does have a charm of it's own.

A Lonely Cloud
I’m eating a lonely cloud
It’s empty and cold
When it has gathered lot
Soon the sky is getting dark
I’m eating a lonely cloud
It’s heavy and hard
When it has already been dark
Soon the day is going to rain
I’m eating a lonely cloud
It’s grey and bitter
When it has already rained
Soon the tear won’t hesitant to flow

I Miss My Mom
Mommy I miss you
Mommy I love you
Mommy you are everything for me
You are my best mom
You are my best friend
You are helping me more than I had seen
You always miss and care about me all the time
When every time I miss you
Sometime I cry
Sometime I feel like I want to die without you
Well, if someone read this they will think that I'm a weirdo
Because I act like a little kid that cry over a yo-yo
Yes. I agree I am if you give your love to other kid and not me
And yes. I am a jealous type of girl about my mom
Every year for mother day
I saw a lot of people buy gift for their mom with a smile on their face
But my eyes are watering and crying
I get jealous
I wish that my mom will be with me
I always think that if other people get sad or happy
Their mom will be the first one that they share
But for me I have no one
I get jealous when I saw someone mom really care about their child
Because why? Because I need a love from my mom
I mean she give me almost everything except she not here with me
Sorry mom, I really crying right now… I have nothing else to say beside I wanted to stay with you I hope my wish will come true…

I remember...(How could I forget?)
I remember your skin, 'cause it's perfect when we meet,
I remember your voice, 'cause without it I can't speak,
I remember your noise, as I'm taking you out of your mind
I remember your pressure, as it made me melt into the sublime.
But mostly, I remember you crying and asking me how someone could love a monster,
I remember you threading your hands through my hair pulling my face to you so you could see the fear written,
I remember you telling me that you'd understand if I left.
I remember comforting you as person A, B and C walked away,
I remember calling you, already knowing what you needed to say,
I remember you calling me angel, so where did that go?
I remember everything, even if it wasn't real, so tell me, is that so?
I remember you giving me everything
I remember giving you my all
I remember watching you put me on a pedestal,
I remember watching myself fall.

Unexpected Elegy
The fading pall is lifting in the East, -
black bird of night’s departing epiderm, -
surprise – the tables turn – who makes a feast
upon the early bird? – The early worm...

Early In The Morning
Early in the morning and I cant get right
Had a little date with my baby last night
Now its early in the morning (early in the morning)
Well its early in the morning (early in the morning)
Now its early in the morning
And I aint got nothing but the blues
Went to all the places where we used to go
Went to your house but you dont live there no more
Now its early in the morning (early in the morning)
Well its early in the morning (early in the morning)
Early in the morning
And I aint got nothing but the blues
Went to your friends house but she was out
Knock on your fathers door and he began to shout get out there boy
Early in the morning (early in the morning)
Early in the morning (early in the morning)
Early in the morning
And I aint got nothing but the blues
Went to doogie chain to get something to eat
Waiter looked at me and said you sure look beat
Now its early in the morning (early in the morning)
Early in the morning (early in the morning)
Well its early in the morning
And I aint got nothing but the blues
Well its early in the morning
And I aint got nothing but the blues
Well its early in the morning
And I aint got nothing but the blues

Too Early To Be Over
Music by richard marx
Lyrics by fee waybill
With another day another life slips away
And floats above the crowd
You can only stay ahead of time when time co-operates
Instead of heading south
Cards are dealt
You play what you hold
You cant tell me the storys been told
Its too early to be over
And its way past when
It could be starting again
Its too early to be over
Good hearted joe is the last one to know
Run down run around biting my tongue
Hardly my sad tale
But the rolling in and steppin out
Nothing but fun
I finally had to bail
Nothing worse than trying too hard
This aint this fools first walk in the park
Its too early to be over
I dont feel a thing from the bone to the skin
Its too early to be over
Good hearted joe is the last one to know
Somewhere out there it all evens out
So they would have you believe
But that dont get me
That wont set me free
Its too early to be over
And its way past when it could be starting over
Its too early to be over
Always the fave but I already gave
Its too early to be over
Dont feel a thing from the bone to the skin
Its too early to be over
Good hearted joe is the last one to know

Hole In My Head
Remember yesterday?
Driving down the M4
The sun lit up your face
Playing all the tunes
Feeling like a child again
The pain has been erased
I feel much better anyhow
Until I see that black cloud
I got a hole in my head
And it's making me sad
Got a hole and the world keeps looking in
Got a hole in my head
And it's making me sad
Got a hole and the world keeps crashing in
Stop looking in
Hide it all away
Keeping your heart inside a box
That no one else can take
Smile it all away
Holding back a thousand lies
But that was yesterday
I love it when she comes around
Until I see that black cloud
I got a hole in my head
And it's making me sad
Got a hole and the world keeps looking in
Got a hole in my head
And it's making me sad
Got a hole and the world keeps crashing in
Got a hole in my head
Got this song in my head
Waiting for the sun to come around
Waiting for the sun to come around
Take another smoke
I though you said you'd given up?
And does your mother know?
Take another rest
Holding out my hand again
I hope that we're still friends
I got a, I got a, I got a, I got a...
I got a hole in my head
And it's making me sad
Got a hole and the world keeps looking in
Got a hole in my head
And it's making me sad
Got a hole and the world keeps crashing in
I got a hole in my head
And it's making me sad
Got a hole and the world keeps looking in
Got a hole in my head
And it's making me sad
Got a hole and the world keeps crashing in

Magellanic Penguin
Neither clown nor child nor black
nor white but verticle
and a questioning innocence
dressed in night and snow:
The mother smiles at the sailor,
the fisherman at the astronaunt,
but the child child does not smile
when he looks at the bird child,
and from the disorderly ocean
the immaculate passenger
emerges in snowy mourning.
I was without doubt the child bird
there in the cold archipelagoes
when it looked at me with its eyes,
with its ancient ocean eyes:
it had neither arms nor wings
but hard little oars
on its sides:
it was as old as the salt;
the age of moving water,
and it looked at me from its age:
since then I know I do not exist;
I am a worm in the sand.
the reasons for my respect
remained in the sand:
the religious bird
did not need to fly,
did not need to sing,
and through its form was visible
its wild soul bled salt:
as if a vein from the bitter sea
had been broken.
Penguin, static traveler,
deliberate priest of the cold,
I salute your vertical salt
and envy your plumed pride.

The Mother And The Little Child
there is a feeling sometimes that there are two of us
in one room,
when one talks one hears an echo
but there is no surprise
this happens most of the time
one must stand corrected
there is a war being waged
the other one is dominant and calls the other stupid
who after all does not listen
and simply does what is felt what is wanted what is needed for
the time being
there is a wolf there and there is an white lamb
there is a witch and there is a trusting traveler of a child
one feels that this is just a cottage and lodging thing
something that you can stay for the night and then leave early morning
tomorrow and then
shrug your shoulder and forget what happened
on that dark night
when one cannot believe it and hence simply thinks that
it is just a dream
or even call it a dismissible nightmare
something that is inevitable
and as one pinches his arm
that thing
that horrible thing is simply forgotten
one goes on a usual journey
taking with him two shattered faces within him
the dominant one keeps talking and talking
like a nagging mother
and just the same that little child inside you keeps its games
not minding everything.
For as long as the toy is in the hands
and for as long as it is not too dark to stop playing
'who cares? ' that is what is being muttered.

What Be A Friend Of Thee? What Be This Friend To Ye?
Perchance i might say old friend...
You are my one of all friend to friends of a friend of all friends.
Friends are a lot that are few in time...
A friend is a friend of mine be so ever good and sublime.
A friend will not ask you to go to jail for them...
A true friend will stay behind with you or not
soon depart from you when you've become mad at them.
A friend will stay and talk with you when time is of the area of being early or late...
A friend will accompany you on a double date when the woman
he has chosen for you just might be of the ugliest and hideousest of state.
What is a friend true or best? ...
A friend is a friend, no matter what be your best given test.

Early in the Spring
Early in the spring
Not a leaf has struck the ground
The swallow has yet to sing
And the plowmen are no where to be found
Early in the spring
The forest stands still
And no creature dare come out
Before the sun rises o’er the hill
Early in the spring
The valley holds the morning dew
And its serenity may be captured
By only a certain few
Early in the spring
The trees turn, brown to green
Many changes occur
But few can be seen
Early in the spring
Or in the latter of fall
No matter the change of season
The evergreen stands tall

A Lover Since Childhood
Tangled in thought am I,
Stumble in speech do I?
Do I blunder and blush for the reason why?
Wander aloof do I,
Lean over gates and sigh,
Making friends with the bee and the butterfly?
If thus and thus I do,
Dazed by the thought of you,
Walking my sorrowful way in the early dew,
My heart cut through and through
In this despair of you,
Starved for a word or a look will my hope renew:
give then a thought for me
Walking so miserably,
Wanting relief in the friendship of flower or tree;
Do but remember, we
Once could in love agree,
Swallow your pride, let us be as we used to be.

The Chill Of An Early Fall
Well her old friend, from her own end of town dropped by today,
And way down deep inside me something died
When he came 'round to see her that way.
Here it comes again, that same old chilly wind
Will blow like a cold winter squall.
And I'll begin to feel the chill of an early fall.
And I'll be drinking again and thinking whenever he calls,
There's a storm coming on, it won't be too long till the snow falls.
Oh I'll be sobersome,
But when October comes and goes and no time at all
I'll begin to feel the chill of an early fall.
Oh how quick they slip away, here today and gone tomorrow.
Love and seasons never stay, bitter winds are sure to follow.
Now there's no doubt, it's gonna be cold out tonight;
I've shivered all day, and when I look in her eyes
Needing to hold her so tight, she just looks away.
Oh she'll swear that it's true, he's just someone she knew
Long ago, and I'll know that's not all,
And I'll begin to feel the chill of an early fall.
Oh I'll begin to feel the chill of an early fall.
