No Expectations
the clouds are better
for they expect nothing from the wind
tossed from one corner
to another
they never complain
at least, i never hear them
despite the heaviness of their burden
they let go and when it is time
they send the rain and then go away

Picky and Petty Too
This is how the mind of those unconnected wind...
When they want something from you,
They want you to do.
They expect you to do it regardless of your time!
But don't expect 'that' from them...
You can try test after test,
And your conclusions will find...
As long as you allow them to use up your time,
They will think you have nothing else to do!
Because you think of them before yourself,
And selfishness for themselves 'first'...
Will be shown time after time to you!
That is how the mind of those unconnected wind.
And even though you know this is true...
Don't waste your time bringing it to their attention.
They will claim 'you' complain,
As well as picky and petty too!

Burden To Carry
Every man has a burden to carry
And some seem to carry it very well
While others complain, about the burden and strain
And as their fall from grace to all they must tell.
They will blame all others for the life they live
And then brag and lie for pity and shame
They will tell themselves to halt, that it was never their fault
So they figure their loss will also be their gain.
Every man has a burden to carry
And some need to carry that burden alone
As they don't seek help, from no one but themselves
And only GOD will feel their pain or hear them moan.
The burden they have is their right of passage
As they walk through life to become a man
Every step that they take, another worry they will forsake
And truly that a vigilante only he should understand.
Every man has a burden to carry
And so many carry it with a vigor and pride
As they head down the road, with their own life's load
While keeping a happiness and love and joy deep inside.
They live the life that was presented to them
And never once do they complain or quit
They take life in it's stride, they throw their chest forward in pride
And what they lost or will loose, they will never miss.
Every man has a burden to carry
And to see it just look upon a mans face
He will either be wearing a smile, like holding a child
Or else you'll see pain and sorrow and even disgrace.
Just walk in his footsteps at least one time
Take his journey as he run's or walks or even tarries
Then you will feel the weight, that man can't escape
As every man has a burden, that he must carry.

Mamunia
Mamunia mamunia mamunia
Oh oh oh
Mamunia mamunia oh oh oh oh
The rain comes falling from the sky,
To fill the stream that fills the sea
And thats where life began for you and me
So the next time you see rain it aint bad,
Dont complain it rains for you,
The next time you see l.a. rainclouds,
Dont complain it rains for you and me
Mamunia...
It might have been a bright blue day
But rainclouds had to come this way
Theyre watering everything that they can see.
A seed is waiting in the earth
For rain to come and give him free,
So the next time you see l.a. rainclouds
Dont complain, it rains for you.
So lay down your umbrellas
Strip off your plastic macs.
Youve never felt the rain my friend,
Till youve felt it running down your back
So the next time you see rain, it aint bad
Dont complain, it rains for you.
The next time you see l.a. rainclouds
Dont complain it rains for you and me.
Mamunia...

Walking Through The Rain
Once in our lifetime
will go through a narrow road
where there's nobody around
We just walking all alone
Carrying attached burden
And behind, chased by a storm
Will the soul safely reach home?
Left and right, nothing around
keep walking in a small road
Wind run chasing this feet
Bringing sand to my eyes
A bit hurt, force to tears
dropped, flew, dried still fears
Keep walking the storm just near
Wind swirl and touch the trees
The weak leaves falling down
Riding this feeling we cant help
After carrying all blurry years
The future seems like a smear
But the storm keep coming near
Too close to breaks and clear
I still walking ahead with hopes
There's nothing around to hold
The grey conquer half of the blue sky
While the sun gone leaving without light
Keep walking, keep moving, it's alright
Even the clouds shades my shadow
We left the past, i wont undo
When the rain pour on me
Finally i know the storm caught my body
Still walking, keep walking even a bit slowly
Stuck in heaviness, waking, standing and walking again
The storm push me down like the weak leaves falling down
Wake up and walking once again, nothing to hold, all by my own
Thunder shouting to scare but i'm too tired to keep afraid
No choice only walking, so I'll be brave for a change
Through this heavy rain
Keep walking to keep moving
Even it was pain with burden
For days and years to come,
I making decision through this rain
For life and future days still remain
Dont want spent entire life with all constrains
A Change for a chance,
So i took this chance to change
For next change of life chance
For always i trust my believe for a chance
The reason why i keep walking through the heavy rain
Cause i know there's always something i will gain at the end
A future with a rainbow will prove there's a chance and change
Cause I know the sun will rise and shine again
So i have made a decision through the rain
Even though i know storm will appear again
I will keep walking and stand again

Not That Aloof
Lofty sit on clouds,
Leaves me stunned sometimes.
I didn't expect to stay afloat so long.
Nor did I expect neighbors to complain
About the continuous use of the smoke machine,
I use for 'my' visions!
They could have borrowed it at anytime!
But no...
They had to call the police,
Anonymously!
To say my routine interfered with the 'sight' of their dinner!
I know just who that was!
The last time I ate there...
A little smog would have encouraged my appetite.
They could have told me,
They could not see driving home at night!
I am not 'that' aloof or thoughtless.

Prayer for a profusion of sunflowers
Send sunflowers!
With my turkey-bone whistle
I am calling the birds
To sing upon the sunflowers.
For when the clouds hear them singing
They will come quickly,
And rain will fall upon our fields.
Send sunflowers!

Comfort Of The Rain
You had your finest hour before you
Long after I thought I had mine
Only in need of the right circumstances
Wat if the sunlight that has failed you starts to shine
If the sky is dark with clouds tonight
Don't bother don't complain
Bringing down the comfort of the rain
This morning I came across your window
The lights were all on
and the curtains drawn
Casting a burden from yor shoulders
Wearing yor winter coat and waking up before the dawn
And if at last the silence falls tonight
And empty streets remain
For once enjoy the comfort in the rain

Expect No Mercy
If youre ready for the street
You wanna mix it in some fight
Let me tell you somethin
Now I dont wanna get you uptight
But if youre in a corner
And you cant find no way out
Dont look around for no help
No, no there wont be any around
Expect no mercy, expect no mercy
Expect no mercy, expect no mercy
So you think you got a case
And you think you know the score
No you dont wanna listen
You cant be told no more
But waitll you get out there
You better do it right
cause the streets are lined with things that kill
And theyre hidin in the night
Expect no mercy, expect no mercy
Expect no mercy, expect no mercy
Expect no mercy, expect no mercy
Expect no mercy, expect no mercy
Feel that you can cut it
You think you got the time
Theyll only give you one chance
Better get it right first time
And the game youre playing
If you lose you gotta pay
If you make just one wrong move
Youll get blown away
Expect no mercy, expect no mercy
Expect no mercy, expect no mercy
Expect no mercy, expect no mercy
Expect no mercy, expect no mercy

A Question For You?
i ask the wind
when will i ever see you again?
and the clouds hear it and then
the sun shines telling it is when the clear day comes again
and then i wait and there is rain for days and days.
on a clear day, the sun shines the flowers bloom and i wait again
there is no you, not even a shadow, and i left
the sun, the wind, the rain, the clouds
they have nothing to give for my quest for answers,
useless metaphors, broken promises, empty poems
shattered dreams

(guitar intro)
(Send your mind)
(Send your mind)
(Send your mind)
(Send your mind)
Well you're out there, on the highway
While you're drivin', a-roll on by
Goin' south between the bridges
While the river's runnin' dry
And if ya can't come home
Please send your mind
(Send your mind)
(Send your mind)
(Send your mind)
(Send your mind)
Now you're talkin', where ya goin'
On the train that sees the road
'Cross the nation, passing stations
While the night is as black as coal
And if you can't come home
Please send your mind
(Send your mind)
(Send your mind)
Ooo!
(Guitar solo and Instrumental)
(Send your mind)
(Send your mind)
Well, if your handle ain't, on your heartbeat
And your headed between the sheet
And the sign isn't from the lamp post
On the corner of the street
And if ya can't come home
Please send your mind
(Send your mind)

Ooo-ooo-we
(Send your mind)
(Send your mind)
Ooo-ooo-wee-ooo
(Send your mind)

(Send your mind)
Come on home
(Send your mind)
Come on home

Ah, try to send it, baby

All ya gotta do

It's Just The Sun
It's just the sun, that's shining in your eyes
It's just the moon, that is the sun's diguise
It's just the sky, with clouds a blowin' by
The sun and the moon and the sky
And you and I
It's just the rain, that's rolling down my cheek
It's just the wind, that makes me hear you speak
It's just the song, that anyone can sing
The rain and the wind and the song
And the love you bring
It's just the world, that's gonna break your heart
It's just the past, that's tearing us apart
It's just the time, we have so little of
The world and the past and the time
That we fell in love

My Sneaking Tears
How heavy fell the rain that day
From burdened clouds of mournful grey.
The torrent forced them stay their height -
Composure swayed by onerous might.
My skin wrung wet with icy chill
As mud embraced that sodden hill;
But mind of mine had elsewhere gone -
'Twas clouds abandoned I was on.
The driving drops advanced their gears
To camouflage my sneaking tears -
Whence now did swell such floods of pain
To see me melt into this rain…
On equal bearing now were we:
This rain, myself, in harmony.

Gloomy Clouds
As the clouds course through the sky, you sit below and wonder why,
Why we have such clouds in life, filling our days with darkened strife.
Just why it is that dark days come, filling one’s joyful heart with glum.
When darkness overcomes the light, nothing seems to be going right.
Filing your heart with undue care; pushing the heart towards despair,
From the heaviness upon your heart, that seems like it will not depart.
You may not know the how or whys, but know Christ is eternally wise.
For Christ suffered just like us; and in Christ you can place your trust.
When in a gloomy cloud of rain, let not your suffering heart complain.
God is sovereign over all affairs, and is one you know who truly cares.
He cared enough to die for you, and knows all you are going through.
Whatever, He’s been there friend, knowing the beginning and the end.
Christ suffered just like you and me, but He was nailed upon a tree,
Where He was mocked and left to die, a wicked death for you and I.
Friend in His suffering as God’s Son, He for us was the rejected one.
And by His Father, be not mistaken, for our sin, Christ was forsaken.
It was a dark time for Christ indeed, He was left on a cross to bleed.
Abandoned by those close to Him; and this because He bore our sin.
A dark time of such I will never see, as on that day Christ died for me.
Dark times that may fall on me, can never compare to that of Calvary.

A Pleasant Inconsequence
- does anyone hear
that something, so near
an ear, an eye
an eagle, a fly
a friend or a foe
where does it all go
I speak alone
words to a gamboling poem
left to right
not a care in sight
even the wind
in a rain decides to take a swim
souls soar to the clouds
where bodies are not allowed
those who hear
without fear
and who see
beyond the trees
and who shall fly
before a time to die
know life's more serious plot
is not to be got
they just enjoy their short time
and make up pleasant little rhymes -

Please Send Me Someone (Anselmo's Song)
Some people said, if I could only care for you
Some people said, he will never love again
Some people said, you can see it in his eyes
He keeps it all inside and yet . . . .
Some people say, in time, we all teach ourselves to live this way
And for a thousand days, I was lost
I thought never to be found,
Underground
And don't you think I'm ready now?
So please send me someone to love . . .
Please send me someone, someone to love
As much as I loved you
(The way I loved you, darlin')
Please, please send me someone, someone to love
Please send me someone
Any time, any day, any time, any day now
Any time any day, any time, any day now
Please, please send me someone
Just to hold me now that you're gone
Some people say, "I hope you know I'm there for you"
Some of the people said - nothing,
And nothing was just fine
(You know how I get sometimes . . .)
And for a thousand days, I was lost
I said, "Heaven knows I'm ready to be found",
Underground
But I think I'm ready now
So please send me someone to love
Please send me someone, someone to love
As much as I loved you
Please, please send me someone, someone to love
Please send me someone
Please send me someone
Any time any day any time any day now
Any time any day any time any day now
Please, please send me someone
So say that you will, because the nights are long
Without our song to sing
Just search the clouds until . . . until
So say that you will
Show me right from wrong,
Without our song to sing
Just search the clouds until . . . until
And Darlin' darlin' though I can't replace you, there's a-ac

Sonnet: The Wind
What shakes the trees so violently? ’Tis Wind;
What moves the clouds hither/ thither? ’Tis Wind;
What takes the tornado around? ’Tis Wind;
What brings the sandstorm on the earth? ’Tis Wind.
What makes the cool and gentle breeze? ’Tis Wind
What makes the boughs and leaves to dance? ’Tis Wind;
What makes the autumn leaves to fall? ’Tis Wind;
What makes the honey-bees to fly? ’Tis Wind.
What makes pollen reach in showers? ’Tis Wind;
What makes the dust to climb towers? ’Tis Wind;
What spreads the perfume of flowers? ’Tis Wind;
What makes the rain-clouds advance far? ’Tis Wind.
What makes the Wind to blow? ’Tis God;
What makes a Tempest stop? ’ Tis our Lord.

When The Rain Stopped Falling
there is this heavy rain
falling on top of your roof and it is so disturbing
that you wake up
and lock your windows
to shut yourself away from the sounds
of falling
but you cannot help worrying even when you cannot
literally hear the sound of the falling rain
you still imagine how they fall inside your mind
as though you can hear every syllable that every neddle of rain
is pricking in your brain
your ears
and your eyes still have the image of these
series of fallings
that even if the rain finally stopped
and you open your window to check
in the middle of this time
when morning cracks fromt the shutters of your windows
you still think like crazy
you hear the sound of the wind and it is like the sound of the falling
rain
and even if the wind has left like a leaf flown to the eastern side
of your house
even if there is no shadow of the leaf anymore
you hear your heart falling from your chest
now you must accept
leaving.
now you must accept the pain.
do not deny it.
it is you that is falling out
from the grace of her love.
it is you.
cry it out!
shout it!
it is you.!
it is you!
it is not the rain, it is not the wind, it is not the leaf that was blown away
towards the eastern part of the house.it is not the design of the house.
it is not the purple curtains. it is not the lonely courtyard
it is not the red bowl. it is not the tower.
it is not the blank sheets of paper.
it is not the bell.
it is not the winding stairs.
it is not the dirty garage.
it is not the scaffold.
it is not the white paint.
it is not the doorbell.
it is not the turbulence of the plane.
it is not the slap of the hand.
it is not the blue fan.
it is not the cellophance floating in the air and whirling in that corner
a dead-end.
it is you! and that is the truth!
be calm now. wipe the tears.
try sleep and dream.

Wooing Summer
because you are lonely
you woo for summer to come
you ask for the swing
and the breeze by the sea
under the coconut trees
but summer is hard to please
and what comes instead is the rain
bringing its mournful sound
the falling tears of the clouds
the heaviness of what it is carrying
but because you are lonely
and nothing seems to be of remedy
you accept the rain as it is
you accept its condolences
and you begin to understand its sympathies
and then you dance and sing with the rain
seeking the company of its miseries
and then you write: my life is lived, not in vain.

Unappreciated Rain
It lands on the windowpane
And brings sane while it cleanse
The distinctive sound as it hits the ground
Rain, the gift from the One
We gain but we complain
Today it's present and tomorrow it's gone
It gathers itself into what might appear as random
As life celebration
And singing with the wind
Before falling down to the ground
As sunshine dries the air and raindrops disappear
Again, complain we begin
Forgive us rain
As we human have no appreciation
The equal importance of sunshine and rain
Human, shameless us should learn of acceptance

Hold Back The Rain
Were miles away from nowhere
And the wind doesnt have a name
So call it what you want to call it
Still blows down the lane
People tell me, I havent changed at all
But I dont feel the same
And I bet youve had that feeling too
You just cant laugh all the time
And if the fires burn out theres only fire to blame
(hold back the rain)
No time for worry cause were on the roam again.
(hold back the rain)
The clouds all scatter and we ride the outside lane
(hold back the rain)
Not on your own so help me please.. hold back the rain
-
So what if the words aint rhyming
Did you think that its just a game
I probably didnt even say that right
And I really dont give a damn
Okay go off and wander
Im guilty just the same
Sometimes youre needed badly
So please come back again
(chorus)
-
And if the stars burn out, theirs only fire to blame
(hold back the rain)
No time for worry cause were on the roam again.
(hold back the rain)
The clouds all scatter and we ride the outside lane
(hold back the rain)
Not on your own so help me please.. hold back the rain
Hold back the rain
Hold back the rain
Hold back the rain
Hold back the rain
Hold back the rain
Hold back the rain
Hold back the rain
Hold back the rain
