My Breath To The Atmosphere
this is my breath
against the sun against the light
particles of water
from my throat
complete with the virus
and the germs
of my oral existence
do you like to catch it?
airborne some people are dying
without their knowing.

Kill the virus, not us
Kill the virus, not us
Recently this fever is frequently reported
Some even die
People infected by this virus
Range from slum dwellers to farm owners
Even doctors are not spared
Why a very successful film producer
And director too succumbed to this
The blame come on to us, the carriers
We, the Aedes mosquitoes
Thrive on juicy leave saps
And our female members have to have a
Human blood meal
If not for anything else,
For the continuation of our generation
The blood meal is taken early in the morning
Or in the evening with sunlight still being there
We have no clue as to
Whether the person on whom we feed
Suffers an infection of dengue or not
You may not know that
We too get infected by the virus
But we manage well without suffering any symptoms
By the time when all our body fluids
Are enriched with virus it will be
A week or ten days passed
After the blood meal from the infected person
This is when we become real carriers
We have the potential to infect a healthy person
With dengue virus if we happen to bite that person
We are just carriers, not knowing what we carry
Blaming us only is unfair
You hurriedly take measures to eliminate our species
It is not at all possible
We brave all your biological weapons
And you may not be aware that some of us
Have already developed resistance to
Most of your branded repellants and pesticides
We have some of these suggestions
For your staying uninfected by this virus
We admit, we only spread the infection
Remove and clear all such spots
Where we may establish a habitat
We suggest that you use a good mosquito net
And keep us away from you
We repeat, your repellants and pesticides
Are no longer effective against us
Or your genetic stalwarts can engineer
A mutation in us
So that our system itself produces an antigen
Against this virus
And the virus is made non-infective further
Or immunize your people against the virus
Do something with your great scientific effort
To relieve us of this burden around a viral infection
Your mission must be to ensure
That we, the Aedes mosquitoes and you
Have a harmonious co-existence
Kill the cause, not the carriers
Kill the virus, not us

If You Want To Become Obese, Catch A Cold (Fun Poem 37)
According to a news story, I read yesterday.
Every time to cough or sneeze,
you put on an extra pound or two.
According to the scientists, obesity can be party blamed
to the good old common cold.
Now if their figures are right
I should be weighing in at about ten tons by now,
as I rarely seem to be without a cold,
spring summer, winter or fall.
Mind you, it would help to explain
why people remark that my wife
seems a lot shorter than I do.
She is standing in my footprints,
which make potholes wherever I go.
However, it gets better than that;
they say the virus is transmitted through our dirty hands.
I am assuming they want us to wash
our hands every five minutes of the day.
In that case, we should carry a bowl of water
around our necks, with a bar of soap and some disposable towels.
You have to laugh at this though.
I remember a few years ago the self same scientists
sent a troupe of scouts away for a month and told them not to wash.
When they came back dirty from head to foot,
the scientist declared they had fewer germs
on them than someone who showered every day.
Now they are telling us dirty hands help us catch colds and obesity.
So we can forget about the diets and the expensive gyms.
All we have to beware of is the common cold,
of which they have never found a cure for,
because if we catch one you can stack on the pounds.
You may even become like me a ten-ton weakling!

Water in the dry land
water spoils the day, when party is
gone, not a waste of time as if you're
have bath in the sun, what a big deal
will it come, when dry spell hit in
the land
water always looks up in the throat,
for almost all sweat run to close
every lip and your eyes gently glitter
every time you want to talk, knowing
it that, you want not to breath,
unnoticed that you're already falling
asleep
furious you seem innocent, lying
down in the style you want to be, but
remember the eloquent you may be,
gesture the netted water in your
stunning wit of humane you'll be
elegant face you survive, the stylish
memoirs you prose, yet the dried mind
need sprinkle water to resist as the
great sun goes to down not for you to
exist

Dying
I'm Dying, Dying to wake up without you, without you in my head again
I'm Dying, Dying to forget about you, that you ever lived
There's a shade come over this heart that's coping with laying down to rest
I'm Dying to live without you again
I'm Dying, Dying to find a distraction, get you away from me
I'm Dying, Dying to reach a conclusion, so that the world can see
It's the same old story of love and glory that broke before it bent
I'm Dying to live without you again
The first time you left I said goodbye
Now there's not a prayer that can survive
Dying, Dying to die just to come back so we can meet again
Dying, Dying to say what I always should have said
It's a strange emotion this but there's still hope in this
As long as there's a breath...
I'm Dying and I can't live without you again
It's a strange emotion this but there's still hope in this
As long as there's a breath...
I'm Dying and I can't live without you
I'm Dying and I can't live without you again

I need thee...
Like the air I need to breath
The water that flows to meet the sea
I need thee
You complete me
Like the blood in my veins
And the Power of Christ's blood stains
I need thee
You complete me
Like the energy from the sun
The Cheetah's need to run
I need thee
You complete me
I have walked a thousand miles
Seen countless un-genuine smiles
I need thee
You complete me
I have heard so many lies
And created my own alibis
I need thee
You complete me
I have hidden from desperate eyes
Comforted by my lonely lullabies
I need thee
You complete me...

When the Wind Returns
a soft strong voice called me,
a voice i'd heard before
but couldnt quite remember...
and my spirit rose from my body,
and left through the bedroom window
without looking back...
there is a space beyond the stars
in the darkest sky... a place
beyond the mind's understanding...
when light returns to darkness
and is reborn.... in tiny particles
of dust that gather and are formed....
a song that has no human words...
but is known and knowing... and
can only be played by human hands...
i do not know... dont have to!
but i know beyond knowing...
and have drank water from that brook...
when the wind returns, so will i...
i need no name, no familiar face...
you'll know i'm there when you breathe!

Tomorrow Never Knows
listen to the colour of your dreams...
turn off your mind, relax and float downstream
then it's not dying, then it's not dying
lay down all thoughts, surrender to the void
and it is shining, it is shining
now you may see the meaning of within
it is being, it is being
love is all, love is everyone
and it is knowing, andit is knowing
let ignorance and hate mingle with dead
it is believing, it is believing
oh play the game, existence to the end
of the beginning, of the beginning
of the beginning, beginning
turn off your mind, relax and float downstream
it is not dying, it is not dying
play the game, existence to the end
of the beginning, of the beginning
of the beginning, of the beginning,
lay down all thoughts, surrender to the void
of the beginning, of the beginning, of the beginning

Prayer For Healing
I am a Divine Act of Creation
Here, now, and forever
I am self-contained and complete
I take in the “Breath of Life”
Breath that fills my being with light
Indeed…
Light containing the voice of Creator
Light that fills every part of my body
Light that soothes my troubled mind
Light that heals all physical disease
Yes!
Beautiful Light…
That someday carries me home

Let's Take One More Rocket To The Moon
Let's take one more rocket to the moon
Before we wake I'll kiss your eyes and lie between
While you sleep is all around
Just look up in the air and find it
Just wish upon a star and find it
It's dawning I'm gently falling
The rhythm of water and windows are white
Darling soft as your pillow I'm slowly drowning
Go spiralling down as you catch your breath
A keychain in your pocket just for luck
I hold it in and close my eyes to hide a tear
And what we need is all around us
Just say a little prayer and find it
Just look up in the air and find it
Walking into your life love without knowing
I'm out of my mind
Calling straight to your heart
I'm slowly drowning and morning is here as I catch my breath
And what we need is all around us
Just look up in the air and find it
Just say a little prayer and find it
Walking into your life love without knowing
I'm out of my mind
Calling straight to your heart
I'm slowly drowning and morning is here

The Dying Soldier
' Here are houses,' he moaned,
'I could reach, but my brain swims.'
Then they thundered and flashed,
And shook the earth to its rims.
'They are gunpits,' he gasped,
'Our men are at the guns.
Water! . . . Water! . . , Oh, water !
For one of England's dying sons.'
' We cannot give you water,
Were all England in your breath.'
' Water! . .. Water! . . . Oh, water !'
fie moaned and swooned to death,

Small People
we are the small people
we take the size of the dusts
and termites
down to the minute cells
the virus
and the neurons...
we have the capacity to hurt
without your knowing
so be cautious
try using the microscopes before
you say you are taking control
we are the small people
we know you but you do not know us

Gutless
All my friends are embryionic
All my friends are dead and gone
All my friends are microscopic
All my friends wake up alone
Girl germs eat your little virus
Revolution come and die
Will you lead us into virus
Sleep with me, wake up alive
Gutless
Youre gutless
Youre gutless
Youre gutless
You can try to suck me dry
But theres nothing left to suck
Just you try to hold me down
Come on, try to shut me up
Step and fetch, grease my hips
I dont even have to part
I dont really miss god
But I sure miss santa clause

Youre gutless

Be Still, And Listen!
be still!
the One whose thoughts
conceive universes
out of particles of dust,
walks within you.
can you feel the ebb
and flow of the tide?
listen! you can hear
voices binding darkness
and light....
are they not merely echoes
of the living written
and etched into your memory?
what you call wind
is only the breath of God....
what you call rain, Her tears...
the empty place that's always
been hidden in your heart...
is only Her hand cupped
to catch your dreams....
whisper softly; Her voice blends
with yours.... and calls the robin
that builds a nest in your prayers!

Bathing In A Tub
What is cleaner-
Bathing inside a tub
or out of it?
How stupid to ask
such a silly question!
You put turkey in a pan
to cook it over fire
Your potatoes won't bake
but burn if put in fire
Your Bar-B-Q would char
if put in fire
So, what seems good
Is to put things over fire
not in it.
If you bathed in a tub
full of water with sud
your pretty skin will catch
all the germs you dropped
in the dirty bath water
No need to be Japanese
But learn from anybody is good
you don't have to burn your hand
by putting your hand in fire
or for the sake of this topic
in the infested water in the tub
Get going and take a bath
outside the bath tub
when you've cleansed yerself
of all 'pollution'
then only you should sit
pretty in the clean water
of your bath tub
and get healthier and more!

Water can sustain life (but not for him)
Water can sustain life, , but not for him,
Water took his life, he never learned to swim;
Too many children, too many early deaths,
Water claimed their souls and dying breaths.
A fraction of a second, is all it takes,
Pools, canals and man-made lakes.
The greatest loss, is to the very young,
Their songs are finished, and left unsung,
Water refreshes the body no more,
The spark of life has exited the final door.
Water can sustain life, but not your daughters,
There is no such thing as 'our safe waters.'
The greatest loss, is unfinished growing,
The biggest loss, is always knowing,
Knowing your boy or girl is dead,
Wishing it were you instead.
