Loboc River Cruise
we finally huddled in a boat
well decorated with some flowers
like the one in the Rose Parade
the boat slowly sails in the River
with a matching band of guitars and
animal skin drums
a woman sings another woman dances
as we see how the brown river is sliced
by the boat on the water
until we arrive at the end of this journey
where there is a waterfall
and then we turn back
to our way again
not really monotonous
and not a waste of time
been here i think seven times
but the river still sings
a lonely song
in my
heart
legend says....
there was once a beautiful maiden....
her heart was broken...

I See A Boat On A River
He left on a boat
Just to follow a dream
He had to find.
You can't hold a man
When he follows a dream
That's on his mind.
I see a boat on the river,
It's sailing away
Down to the ocean,
Where to i can't say.
Boat on the river,
It's sailing away
Down to the ocean,
Where to i can't say.
I waited for him
Such a very long time,
Don't know what for
'cause i should have known
When he left on the boat
We'll meet no more.
I see a boat on the river,
It's sailing away
Down to the ocean,
Where to i can't say.

Boat on the river,
It's sailing away
Down to the ocean,
Where to i can't say.
Boat on the river.
You're bound for the sea,
If you should find him
Please greet him from me.
There were people who came
And said it's really a shame,
Why did he take off
To follow just a dream.
But i guess they were wrong,
In life you're sailing along
And things don't turn out
As simple as they seem.
Boat on the river,

Misty River
This morning
Me in this Misty River
All the happiness
I am feeling inside myself
Misty River
The mist is coming
From this Misty River
There are clouds
In the sky
And the mist
Is caused by the condensation
Of the heat mixed in the cold water
Misty River
I am in a fishing boat
That boat is moving slowly in this
Misty river
It is early in the morning
I am eating my breakfast in the fishing boat in the middle of this
Misty River
I hear the birds singing early in the morning
In this Misty River
There must be trees because the sound of the birds is coming from the Branches
Misty River
So peaceful
It looks so different with the mist
No one is around but me
With my fishing boat
And the beautiful sound of the birds
It is so nice
To have a place to come to
Where I can
Hear the sound of the birds
And be left alone
With no one disturbing me
Misty River
This is my special place
And by afternoon
No clouds I will see
The birds are beautiful
Their song is just beautiful like mother nature intended it to be
If nobody else appreciates this Misty River
I do
Misty River
I will die for you
Misty River
I will shed my tears for you
I have been coming here for so long now

River’s Utterance
River’s utterance
Known to both the banks;
Inform you river
Tell him that I am
Sitting on side of bank-
When boat anchor
Swimming is unknown
I am totally helpless;
How to cross river
All time day-night
High or low tide boat flows-
Crosses the river
O! Why the boat
You took him dropping me;
No life except her.

A Paper Boat On A Murky River
on your hand is a paper boat
you made last night
on a rainy day like this
you put on a gray rain coat
the river rises
perfect for your scheme
you put the boat gently
on the brown water
white paper boat
carried by this murkiness
your hands push
the paper boat leaves
tonight you sleep on
the wooden floor
it is mahogany brown and you
become the paper boat
sailing inside your dream
the floor becomes the big river
your thoughts become the wind
your eyes become two moons
the room is as dark as the night
the dream is so alive like a mother's song.

Boat On The River (Frankfurt 2000)
Take me back to my boat on the river
I need to go down, I need to come down
Take me back to my boat on the river
And I won't cry out anymore
Time stands still as I gaze in her waters
She eases me down, touching me gently
With the waters that flow past my boat on the river
So I don't cry out anymore
Oh the river is wide
The river it touches my life like the waves on the sand
And all roads lead to Tranquillity Base
Where the frown on my face disappears
Take me down to my boat on the river
And I won't cry out anymore
Oh the river is deep
The river it touches my life like the waves on the sand
And all roads lead to Tranquillity Base
Where the frown on my face disappears
Take me down to my boat on the river
I need to go down, won't you let me go down
Take me back to my boat on the river
And I won't cry out anymore
And I won't cry out anymore
And I won't cry out anymore

The Dual Divided
Quiet flows a small river
And a small boat floats on its silence.
Nothing goes wrong for some time-
Nothing goes wrong....
There blooms a flower on the face of the lone sailor
As the river recedes and his boat triumphs forward,
He begins to sing a song-
A sweet song...
Nothing goes wrong for some more time-
Nothing goes wrong.
A small wind blows,
It grows into a storm next,
The song stops for at once
And the boat turns upside down.
The sea emerges
And it embraces the river.
Nothing goes wrong.

The Deserted River
THE river is complete nude,
no water or a stream,
no birds which flies around,
no beast animal visit to quench its thirst,
the boat half sank in the sand,
the boater left the bank,
the edges of river disappered,
no soul around,
the river is deserted till miles,
slowly the black clouds appeared,
suddenly it disapperaed,
the river dies a lonely death.

This River
this river is a wide and long stretch
of brown dreams
it is silent its ripples are like moving threads
it has a song of its own
that only your heart can sing
we sail this river again
this ealy morning when the sun still hides itself
in the nipa palms
we sit side by side as the boat takes its time
we hold our hands
we are still lovers throught the years
we look forward to the same direction
it will not take that long
at the end we will see again the cascades
we will hear the flow of the mountain springs
we will again remember
the harmony of what we once were
do you hear that cascading song of the water?
that is the song of the river that in my heart i always treasure
together and forever
we will cascade, my love, like this long, brown river to the sea
of our daily affections

The River Sings
The river sings
A voice rises above
Fairer than the water, rings
I know you well
For the river has told
All there is to tell
It sung of a maiden
Fair as the water’s song
Her heart heavy laden
Though she sang
Her song was sorrowed
In voice the sadness rang
No words were needed
The river knew
Her voice it heeded
She walked alone
Her gaiety was lost
River, her only home
She listened to the water
Telling a story
Calling her River Daughter
The river sang, through day and night
Sang for her, the only listener
She joined the song, through dark and light
She called to her lover
Come free me!
Called with song and river

That Old River
Look at that old river, sitting there so still
Full of fear, almost frightening - got to get
to that old river tonight somehow.
Freedom calls for me tonight, dreams only of old
dusty fields - no more, no more at last - got
to get to that old river somehow.
Is that biscuits I smell in that old kitchen - not
tonight I cry - across that old river tonight before
I die. Out the door I began feeling the warm breeze
in the air. Oh Lord! Help me to make it there.
With each step my feet got heavier and heavier - holding
my breath, scared to death. It's just me and you Lord,
sure can't turn back from this journey now.
This night seem longer somehow - suddenly I could hear
voices from afar - must be getting closer I sigh. Come
on over I heard someone cry, got to get across this old
river, freedom before I die.
Slowly, down the river we went, my heart gave a big sigh.
Suddenly, the boat hit solid ground - I jumped up
Hallelujah! Lord! I made it to the other side.
As I began to look back at that old river, it didn't seem
so big at all. Good-bye Old River, Old River Good-bye

Hymn To The Woman
Woman
You are God's gift to the world
Woman
You are
The flowers that grow wild
Around the river
Woman
The water of the river
Is flowing slowly
Woman
Your eyes are so beautiful
Woman
Your smile is like a rainbow
So let it shine
Woman
Don't be afraid to show your smile

Aqueous Transmission
Im floating down a river
Oars freed from
Their homes long ago
Lying face up on the floor
Of my vessel
I marvel at the stars
And feel my heart overflow
Further down the river
Two weeks without my lover
Im in this boat alone
Floating down a river
Named emotion
Will I make it back to shore?
Or drift into the unknown
Further down the river
Im building an antenna
Transmissions will be sent
When I am through
Maybe we can meet again
Further down the river
And share what
We both discovered
Then revel in the view
Further down the river
Im floating down a river

THE boat is ready
you hold the paddle
and you step on it
and take the ride
there is this peace
that the pond offers
there is this solitude
of the heart
that speaks the silence
of the water
the boat wades with
you
then you let everything
float away
beside the river bank
a tree grows
with lush leaves
you lay your head
on the side of the boat
you close your eyes
and then dream

Stop It
Roll-roll, roll your boat on the river of love!
For the drug addicts are too many and they do die easily as well;
But roll your boat on the river of love to overcome drug addict.
Stop it now and feel awaken from your sleep!
Because you are needed by the society around you;
So roll your boat on the river of love to be perfect.
To fickle with no cracking,
And try to save your life from drug addict;
And let this message of love keep you going,
For the hemp smokers and the cocaine users know their probelms as well.
Just roll your boat on the river of love towards success,
With no bottles, pins, and no injections of bad drugs!
For that is the guide to secure your health,
And don't even pass it on.

Edge of the Water
On the edge of the water
Worrying more than ought to
river reflects back up at me
the water is cool and calm
a peaceful stream
enters my mind
takes over the steering for me
the river floats around a bend
I'm on the mend
with a tree overlooking the river's curve
two birds make a squawk
skim the river's surface together
river boat bells play to set the mood

Emoting Emotions For Emo, The Hermit Kemit
IT is fluvial, there is a river, and a boat
there are tears in the river with a boat sailing one early morning
when you wake up, without him by your side, though there is a note,
saying, i will be away for two weeks in Davao,
company thing, compulsory ones, meetings and discussions
what to do, and where, and it will be long.
excuses.
lies.
deceptions of angels
and demons.
goddammit
he is with her and i am here, you say it yourself,
you are here alone, by the side of the river, flowing in a valley of tears.;
he's in the arms of the other woman who is feeling hot and sexy all over.
it is the note.
You respond, with
' i trust you'
Keep loving.
definitely, you're not hermit, the Kermit, she is the Emo,
emoting
emotions, by the side of the flowing river, the tears are valleys.

River Boat
(alan toussaint)
Time dies tryin to fly by
Got a grain of love in my eye
And if I ? ? ? ? ? ? ?
Tryin to beat each other if they can
But that river boat keeps on chuggin
While we keep on kissin and huggin
We got love, we got love
Big wheels just keep on turnin
And the fires just keep on burnin
Love keeps on gowin
Yeah river just keep on flowin
Time dies tryin to fly by
Got a grain of love in my eye
Opportunity knockin
Big boat keep on rockin
That river boat keep on chuggin chuggin
We just need to keep on kissin and huggin
We got love, we got love, yes we do
Big boat just keep on chuggin
We just keep on kissin and huggin
We got love, yes we do, we got love
Dont you know that river boat it keeps on chuggin
We just need to keep on kissin and huggin
We got love

Imaginations At 447
you lay your head
on the pillow on a bed on a boat
bound for Palawan
what you hear
because your heart is broken
is this dying boat slowly riding on the waves
rusting upon its hulls
with nothing in mind
but to just comply and complete
the journey
there are no dreams of welcome
no streamers
no drums
just an arrival and the usual
announcement: we have arrived.
