Imaginations At 447
you lay your head
on the pillow on a bed on a boat
bound for Palawan
what you hear
because your heart is broken
is this dying boat slowly riding on the waves
rusting upon its hulls
with nothing in mind
but to just comply and complete
the journey
there are no dreams of welcome
no streamers
no drums
just an arrival and the usual
announcement: we have arrived.

Boat To Sail
Youre up state, up late, and city fed
Im a california label
From the top of my head,
Forever, ah
See a lot of open sky
When the sun goes down
Theres a hot, lot of loving when you come
Around, to free me, ah
In a boat to sail, boat to sail, away, ah
All those letters mailed from a
Boat to sail, away ah
We are riding in a boat to sail
Bare foot, coconut and supermild
Jamaica take a look
At your own child
Forget not
Brian wilson songs are never left behind
Dont you worry baby, youre a friend of mine
For so long
From a boat to sail, boat to sail, away ah
All those letters mailed, from a
Boat to sail, away ah
We are riding in a boat to sail

The Boat and The Sea
I will tell you, my Dear
Story of the Boat and the Sea
'Since the unknown time
The Boat heard the call from the Sea
Wings of Gull, blue waves
Took Boat traveled everywhere, all ways
The Boat's soul's filled with hopes
And the Sea's boundless love
Boat went far, further no tiresome
The Sea was still far...so far
Those nights the moon was gentle
The sea was like a girl, who's little
She whispered, she sent her thoughts
Round the boatside, waves elapsed
Sometimes, causeless
The Sea, its waves, pourred impetuously in the Boat
(Because of Love, for all times, ever was just imovable?)
Only the Boat understood
How boundless the Sea was
Only the Boat knew
Where the Boat went to, back to
The days without meeting
The sea was with white head, with missing
The days without gathering
The Boat was broken - crack
If already seperated from the Boat
The Sea only remained the wind and waves
...up and down, a craze'
If having to be separated from you
I just only remain storms

Loboc River Cruise
we finally huddled in a boat
well decorated with some flowers
like the one in the Rose Parade
the boat slowly sails in the River
with a matching band of guitars and
animal skin drums
a woman sings another woman dances
as we see how the brown river is sliced
by the boat on the water
until we arrive at the end of this journey
where there is a waterfall
and then we turn back
to our way again
not really monotonous
and not a waste of time
been here i think seven times
but the river still sings
a lonely song
in my
heart
legend says....
there was once a beautiful maiden....
her heart was broken...

Friend-Ship
My friendship is sinking,
I'm bailing out water as fast as I can,
Move too quickly the boat will tip over,
Move too slowly the faster it will sink,
Seconds away from abandoning ship,
But there's land in sight,
So close to shore,
Tying a rope to the boat,
Jumping into the water,
The water is so cold,
Pulling the boat to shore,
Moving too slowly,
Waves threatening to take the boat away,
Waves threatening to take me away,
Suddenly the shore seems so far away,
Waves fill the boat with water,
The burden of the weight of the water,
Becomes unbearable,
The rope is pulled out of my hands,
And the boat sinks,
Pulling me under,
I swim to the surface,
Swim to shore,
Once on shore I look back,
There is nothing left of the Friend-ship

I See A Boat On A River
He left on a boat
Just to follow a dream
He had to find.
You can't hold a man
When he follows a dream
That's on his mind.
I see a boat on the river,
It's sailing away
Down to the ocean,
Where to i can't say.
Boat on the river,
It's sailing away
Down to the ocean,
Where to i can't say.
I waited for him
Such a very long time,
Don't know what for
'cause i should have known
When he left on the boat
We'll meet no more.
I see a boat on the river,
It's sailing away
Down to the ocean,
Where to i can't say.
Boat on the river,
It's sailing away
Down to the ocean,
Where to i can't say.
Boat on the river,
It's sailing away
Down to the ocean,
Where to i can't say.
Boat on the river.
You're bound for the sea,
If you should find him
Please greet him from me.
There were people who came
And said it's really a shame,
Why did he take off
To follow just a dream.
But i guess they were wrong,
In life you're sailing along
And things don't turn out
As simple as they seem.
Boat on the river,
It's sailing away
Down to the ocean,
Where to i can't say.
I see a boat on the river,
It's sailing away
Down to the ocean,
Where to i can't say.
I see a boat on the river.
You're bound for the sea,
If you should find him
Please greet him from me.

This Is A Boat
this is a boat and it is in my hand
the hand is the sea
and my fingers keep it wavy
this is the boat and it is wooden
and it is loaded unevenly on its left side
and so it leans on the heavy
edge like it is a man
with a shorter left foot
and walks like the
floor is uneven
and imperfect
this is my body and it has become an ocean
and the boat sails on without the sun
my eyes the moon and stars
and they are closed
this is the darkness where the boat sails
and this is the silence
of its journey
this is my mind
and everything: the boat, the sea, the ocean
the tilting, the weight of the load,
things exist because i let them so
this is my hand and this is the sea of waves
these emotions
this is the mouth speaking
without any sense at all like a woman nude
running for life away from the atomic bomb

Upon The Wind And Waves
Andy tooks us down upon the keyside
To board the silver boat
Upon the Wind and Waves
And Daniel he harrelted the boat
And directed her well
Across the Wind and Waves
And Johnny took us on the boat
He held the sails, he tied the ropes
Upon the Wind and Waves
And Desiree she watched the ocean
Fair Upon the wind and Waves

Infinite Journey
The sky was covered with swans and birds
moving towards there endless infinite journey
there image reflecting with new waves
my small boat was moving with the winds
some new lights falls on me
makes me fly higher and higher beyond space
towards the infintie journey of eternal love
where i will listen the chanting of birds
which are flying with my floating boat
towards the endless journey
where the sun always tries to meet the earth
on the edges of oceans far far away
where the waves tries to kiss the clouds.

Slowly slowly like this
Slowly slowly
The rippling waves hit the boat
A small fishing boat on the lake
In which he and I sit
Softly back and forth
Waves caused by some water ski
Do not disturb us
My hands stretch out on wood
Behind me as I look
At him
He is telling me a story
Bashfully looking away
Each time I try to catch
His eye
Familiarity warms his body
To mine
The distance is now less
But he still looks away
I smile
He is so cute
When he does this
He has no idea how much
I love him
And how happy I am
Just being with him
Like this
Looking at him
Watching him
And loving him
Always loving him
Like this

A Paper-boat just on the Sea!
A paper-boat, I tend to be!
The sea of life is too stormy;
Afraid I am, it could sink me,
Before I can reach land’s safety!
But if He wants, the Almighty,
Could work miracles still for me;
And guide the boat to shore safely,
And keep me dry eternally!
A paper-boat just on the sea!
How can it float for long freely?
And when the sea becomes angry,
Can it escape its cruelty?
But all the same, I move slowly;
Nothing on earth can deter me;
Unless something so cowardly,
Drenches the boat mercilessly.
A paper-boat just on the sea!
I know I must make it surely;
And when I reach the shore, may be,
I will feel immensely happy!
A paper-boat just on life’s sea!
Who else would want to be like me?
God is my guide and my safety;
In Him, I have strong faith truly!
A paper-boat just on the sea!
A paper-boat, I tend to be;
A paper-boat, I want to be-
A paper-boat just on life’s sea!

The Boat
i am drawing
this situation, this is the boat, it has four arms spreading
on the wide face of the sea
these arms shall caress
and make love with its bounty
some waters sound a slush
like the sand announcing your safe and soft arrival
the boat has eyes too
just like us inside it
its gaze spreading the vision of where we are going
the boat looks upon us with envy
we are the lovers inside its mouth
the boat slides on calm seas
this peaceful twilight
when the seagulls have gone away
here, we make love again
the boat compromising with a restful state this time
everything is so warm
the fires in our hearts
the boat surely understands something that burns
yet so unconsumed
undiminished

Gulf Crisis Lullaby
Space is always getting bigger
Time just keeps moving on
Take your finger off the trigger
You aint gonna shoot that gun
Roads are always leading somewhere
Dreams are always being dreamed
That black cloud on the horizon
Its not as big as it seems
No, you may believe it or not, but hear what I say
This old boat of ours is bound for better days
Fools will always have an answer
Cheats will always tell a lie
They dont have to take us over
Just let them pass you by
Luck is always being lucky
Fate is always being fate
Theres really no need to hurry
You aint gonna be late
No, you may believe it or not, but hear what I say
This old boat of ours is bound for better days
Age is always getting older
Youth is always being born
Come on climb in here beside me
And keep your lover warm

Mercy Street
For anne sexton
Looking down on empty streets, all she can see
Are the dreams all made solid
Are the dreams all made real
All of the buildings, all of those cars
Were once just a dream
In somebodys head
She pictures the broken glass, she pictures the steam
She pictures a soul
With no leak at the seam
Lets take the boat out
Wait until darkness
Lets take the boat out
Wait until darkness comes
Nowhere in the corridors of pale green and grey
Nowhere in the suburbs
In the cold light of day
There in the midst of it so alive and alone
Words support like bone
Dreaming of mercy st.
Wear your inside out
Dreaming of mercy
In your daddy(s arms again
Dreaming of mercy st.
swear they moved that sign
Dreaming of mercy
In your daddys arms
Pulling out the papers from the drawers that slide smooth
Tugging at the darkness, word upon word
Confessing all the secret things in the warm velvet box
To the priest-hes the doctor
He can handle the shocks
Dreaming of the tenderness-the tremble in the hips
Of kissing marys lips
Dreaming of mercy st.
Wear your insides out
Dreaming of mercy
In your daddys arms again
Dreaming of mercy st.
swear they moved that sign
Looking for mercy
In your daddys arms
Mercy, mercy, looking for mercy
Mercy, mercy, looking for mercy
Anne, with her father is out in the boat
Riding the water
Riding the waves on the sea

Nature's Outburst
night
and heavy rains
inside a boat
the sounds of big waves
shall this boat
break into a half?
shall there be
another wailing
and then with a snap
everything shall be gone?
the torrential rains
the currents and the
crew on watch
until the light is seen
from the tower
and the port
and the arrival
all sighs gone
what is it? there is none
there is nothing.
and then the rains stopped
the sun comes
it is morning.

A Body
a boat lays adrift
finally on the shore
of the far away
island
the sail is broken
the rudder is damaged
the side of the boat leaks
its head appears like
the head of a very weary man
staring at the trees fronting it
while undergoing repair
