In Working With Images....

when we work with images
they become real, touchable,
i, too, smell
what has been transformed by
a dream
like a bread
baked
sending its fresh flavor
in the air

hot tea is served in the cold
corners of the mind

i am seeing beauty
and shapes of bodies come out from
glossy paper

i severed myself from the pains of
you

the images are real and they do not ask
if things are moral

i embrace all these images for the main reason
that i must live
my life
amidst the rules of this mundane games

every night i sleep late
transforming what this world thinks as invisible

in the morning
virtual leaves fall at the foot of the real tree
on top of grass, as green as my mind
flowers are flaming
like fire
in my belly.

Warm

One more time for ho jo, you know I cant wait
Another wasted line
Im sittin in the corner, I can feel the weight
Of my head on top of my spine
Theres nothing to be scared of once youve
Seen the the light, reflecting through the screen
A eudaemonistic life composed of tar and nicotine
You know it, you know it, you know it
cause youve seen it, now you believe it
You know it because it seems so real
You know it because youve seen it, now you believe it
You know it because it seems so real
It seems so real, it seems so real, it seems so real
Sit back and relax and do nothin,na,na,na,na
Youll laugh, then youll cry, then youll feel nothin,na,na,na,na
Implanted images of morality
Images of life, they seem so real
One more time for ho jo, what does it mean?
Im not sure I know, while looking for somebody
Deep inside a dream, my sunshine turns to snow
Now its blowin inside, I dont feel the cold
Yet Im frozen to my seat
My eyes have seen the truth
And still my mind admits defeat

Images of Time

The images in my mind is like my thoughts.
Expressing my thoughts is like expressing my feelings.
Words are spoken. All my images are broken.
Broken down into pieces, which can never be made into new dishes.

Those images of past.It takes time to last.
It will last forever for met to take over.
All those images wore my past life.
But it has nothing to do with my past life.

Those images can be forgotten. But not those people.
Those people who are in your images. Can be in a real image.
When you see those people in front of you.
You like to say 'How are you'?
If they say I am fine. Then you will think of those time.

In The Virtual World

IN THE VIRTUAL WORLD

In the virtual world
I somehow am real-
I add to myself all the time
Without problem.

In the real world
I am less successful.
Less attention is paid
And I walk the streets of my own city
Unrecognized.

Praise is nice
And virtual praise also something I suppose
But a real embrace is something different.

One day soon too perhaps, you say,
Virtual embraces will be more than real ones
But it hasn't happened yet.

As it is now I am more real in the virtual world
Than in the real one.

No wonder I spend so much of my time here
Writing to strangers who have never smiled at me
And who I too am not really in touch with.

Virtual World (12" Extended Mix)

Written by ricky & kim wilde
Images projected on a screen
Step into an artificial dream
Programme all the things you want to feel
Make a world where fantasies are real
Stand back and let the future unfurl
Well all be living in a virtual world
In a virtual world
Ah-ah, in a virtual world
Journey far beyond the atmosphere
Watch the world behind you disappear
Float inside a microscopic cell
Is this dream a heaven or a hell?
Stand back and watch the future unfurl
Well all be living in a virtual world
In a virtual world
Ah-ah, in a virtual world
In the name of progress science stands
Pushing all the frontiers known to man
When they go too far the frontiers break
And were left to deal with their mistakes
Stand back and watch the future unfurl
Well all be living in a virtual world
In a virtual world
Ah-ah, in a virtual world
Images projected on a screen
Step into an artificial dream
Programme all the things you want to feel
Make a world where fantasies are real
In the name of progress science stands

Stand back and watch the future unfurl
Well all be living in a virtual world
Stand back and watch the future unfurl
Well all be living in a virtual world

Images

I think images are worth repeating
Images repeated from a painting
Images taken from a painting
From a photo worth re-seeing
I love images worth repeating
Project them upon the ceiling
Multiply them with silk screening
See them with a different feeling
Images, oh, images
Images, oh, images
Some say images have no feeling
I think theres a deeper meaning
Mechanical precision or so its seeming
Instigates a cooler feeling
I love multiplicity of screenings
Things born anew display new meanings
I think images are worth repeating
And repeating and repeating
Images, oh, images
Images, images
Im no urban idiot savant
Spewing paint without any order
Im no sphinx, no mystery enigma
What I paint is very ordinary
I dont think Im old or modern
I dont think I think Im thinking
It doesnt matter what Im thinking
Its the images that are worth repeating
And repeating, oh, images
Images
If youre looking for a deeper meaning
Im as deep as this high ceiling
If you think technique is meaning
You might find me very simple
You might think that images boring
Cars and cans and chairs and flowers
You might find me personally boring
Hammer, sickle, mao tse tong
Mao tse tong
Ooohhh, images, images
Images
I think that it bears repeating
The images upon the ceiling
I love images worth repeating
And repeating and repeating
Images, images
Oh, images, oh, images

Images

All the images that occur in my mind
have had me think of places.
I may not have seen them in this life
But then again my memory erases
where they are from or why they are seen.

Could they be from another time?
They seem to haunt my being.
Oh that I could remember
what it is I'm seeing?

They're all mixed up with love and death
and I confess my need to know
why they've surfaced in my mind
and why they never let go.

I remember the images mostly at night
right before I sleep.
They form water-colored pictures
and sometimes make me weep.

not from sadness, but from joy.
For the images have made me think
that they have surfaced for some reason.
So from them I do not shrink.

I want them to stay. I really do.
For they connect to who I am.
For I've known since I was very young
that life after death comes again.

Welcome

welcome
brother
i will take you to
a succession of images,

my thoughts,
about
this family
all our
emotions passing through
the ancestral mind

during sleep
we will be the
objects seen
involuntary on this
daydreaming

the reverie.
an aspiration
do you still need
A trip to Europe
your wild
and vain fancy?

we summon
unreal beauty,
charm, we strive for
excellence.

oh something
in a very remote way

I wouldn't dream of asking you
or them
to reconsider
things and options

suppose,
what if?

i dream away the afternoon.
ideal? hmmm, not really

do not turn me off
i am real
touch my fingers
they wriggle

i sometimes
dream up
the most impossible
plan.

those with
unusual vividness,
clarity,
order,
and significance,

do not be turned
off
i am real
i am the one that rambles and
rumble
and mumble
and bubble up

like a gum on your cheek

Imaginations Real

Voices across all the nation,
Echo in my mind.
In the streets,
In the factories,
In the towns.
Living out what imagination made real.
Got to leave the old world behind,
Use a fantasy,
Imagination is real.
Chorus
Im so much in love,
I cant explain,
Imaginations real.
Build your dreams,
And make them strong,
Lmaginations real.
Imaginations real,
Imaginations real,
Imaginations real,
Imaginations real.
No solution,
Hatred,
Fear of whats to come.
Dont cry,
Cant you feel it inside,
Cant you see its the only way it can be.
For our past has left us alone,
With a cold reality,
Imagination made real.
Chorus
If you use a dream
To change a mind,
Then imaginations real.
Think with your heart,
And you will see,
Imaginations real,
Imaginations real,
Imaginations real,
Imaginations real.

Thriving Upon An Accepted Illusion

The fruit of the
center of this Paradise
One that i see
One that i always love to see
Feast always to my eyes
Without failure
One that i gaze upon
A touch on the gloss of the
Paper
Closing my eyes and feeling that it is real
But it isn't
These images live only inside my dreams
They die with the coming of Light
They escape on the hours of
Waking
I am faithful to these images that do not feel me
Do not know me
They are all dead a long time ago
The first time i ever knew them
But i insist
ON this illusion for without it, i die.

What He Did

as law professor teaching civil and political law
he did not tell his students that he writes poems during some
breaks of their studies.
as the students hurdle a legal problem in marriage
he preoccupies himself with some images: an old weary man
carrying an ax, debarking a tree without leaves.
it can carry him far away to some hills in his mind.
clouds and storms dock on his forehead.
he shakes his head, and goes back to the legal words
right on the page of his book. Finds himself again, strong willed.
Astute. Wise. Objective. Sharp.
A student raises his hand and recites a solution the problem.
He listens and claps his hands.

The class is dismissed and he is left alone in the room
It is 8: 45 in the evening.

Images come again. The tree is finally cut. The barks turn into paper.
He knows now the cause of the decay. Some termites.

The old man is dead. Cut by the ax. The ax is gone.
Who did it? Why?
These are his mind games.

He opens the door of the car and begins to drive himself back home.
He has a poem to write again.

It is about that old man who died beside a tree that he debarked.
It is not more of the ax or termites.

It is the tree. A tree without leaves.
A very lonely tree which is cut.

He is happy now.

Everything Vivid oh so Real

So surreal
everything appears
too real to be real
sober wide eye lucid mind
hallucinations?
How dull our perception
what we deem to be real

hydrogen strawberry patch
purple atmosphere soil
harvest dawn
streaks of violet orange-red
blood shed
sky's living proof

cloud's ceremonial formation
channeling spirits of great
distant cousin mountain ranges

sky
vivid oh so real
trees
vivid oh so real
auto metallic body paint
vivid oh so real
neighbor's sleep eye smile
vivid oh so real
morning rabbithole obligations
vivid oh so real
stage and spot light silence
vivid oh so real
flying feathered wake-up calls
vivid oh so real
everything I see
everything I touch
vivid oh so real
everything I feel
everything I imagine
vivid oh so real
dew transfers from
air to grass to my
bare flesh
vivid oh so real
my body
everything within
everything without
vivid oh so real
tepid bitterness
lukewarm caffeine fix
vivid oh so real
every illusion
performed by the senses
vivid oh so real
meditations under fulsome
tree branches
peace of mind
vivid oh so real

Somewhere In Between

I can't meet
Losing sleep over this
No I can't
And now I cannot stop pacing
Give me a few hours
I'll have this all sorted out
If my mind would just stop racing

Cause I cannot stand still
I can be this unsturdy
This cannot be happening

This is over my head
But underneath my feet
Cause by tomoroow morning I'll have this thing beat
And everything will be back to the way that it was
I wish that it was just that easy

Cause I'm waiting for tonight
Been waiting for tomoroow
I'm somewhere in between
What is real
Just a dream
What is real
Just a dream
What is real
Just a dream

Would you catch me if I fall out of what I fell in
Dont be surprised if I collapse down at your feet again
I don't want to run away from this
I know that I just don't need this

Cause I cannot stand still
I can be this unsturdy
This cannot be happening

Cause I'm waiting for tonight
Been waiting for tomorrow
And I'm somewhere in between
What is real
Just a dream
What is real
Just a dream
What is real
Just a dream
What is real just a dream

Real Life

Certain, genuine, almost positive
Right definite, sincere
Broke vitality, truth humanity
That's not what's happening here
oooh, oooh, this is real life
oooh, oooh, this is real life
I'm sitting here waiting, wondering where you been
Don't you know you're late again?
Sitting here thinking, figuring you would call
The phone don't ring at all
I'm not a girl whose living in a fantasy world
So tell me are we fictional, fact
Cause right now I gotta know (gotta know)
I wanna know where we're at
Get a grip baby we're no rehearsal
It's not a game, we are not playing virtual
When are you going to wake up and realize
This is real life, this is real life
?Have honey? would never be true love
I can almost never be in love
I tell you straight up, not telling you twice (you twice)
This is real life, uh, this is real life (real life)
You're blowing hot and cold
And I don't know where you're coming from
What planet are you living on?
And I'm not the girl of a type who will forgive and forget
(Have I, Have I got you attention yet?)
I'm not a girl whose living in a big dream world
This time there's no compromise
So if you want me for good, you better open your eyes

Real Love

How to say love?
How to see love?
or to seize love?
saying love u out of your lips
not the way to say love
say i love u in your heart
whom u love then they can hear
with their hearts
if u sees in your eyes
u still never see the real love
but with open heart
and open mind
if u accept the real light
then u can see the beauty
the beauty of be love
and to be in a real love
in every where
in every time
u can seize the real love
when u let the devotee to fly
and to shine
like the sun of the noon
like the moon
fade the darks of night
like the birds of the north
coming back to their home
from south
u can say in every word
the real love
u can see in every where
the real love
and reveal
the real love
in your soul
the real love
the
real
love
at the end
is a dream
of real woman
and the deeds
of real man.

in the mirages
amidst the desert heat
there will be images
fifty or so
for one real tiger
multiplying all the
fears of being
devoured
in the hunger of
its mouth
and the sharpness of
its fangs

this is the hunger of the mind
amidst the heat of the quest
for knowledge and truth
in the rush
what is open for viewing
is the scenery of lies

the key to the door
is the night of peace
the moon in full view
to the eyes that weep

The Perfect Perfect Poem

Imagine that God asked you to write the perfect poem.
You sat down at the table, pen and paper at the ready.
You let your mind drift, as if in gentle wholesome prayer.
You wait for some guidance as to the main theme.
Into your mind came the title. How? You could not say.
Yet there it was, as if it were your destiny... your duty...
You write the title down and pause to think about it...
Into your mind come images, unbidden, unrehearsed.

Images unfolding, as from some midnight dream.
You think you should write down the first line.
You force the first verse to fit your new desire.
The words work well and you are warmly pleased.
With a faithful heart, you press on with joy.
The images continue and more words flow...
Who is the writer now? Who is leading the pen?
You are puzzled as the images stop suddenly.

You are given time to catch up, so all is well.
The words become eloquent, bold and fanciful.
The story becomes more than what is first known.
A hidden meaning has yet to be revealed.
You sense it is on its way and you strain to know it.
What can it be? Is it a secret from the Lord?
Is it a precious prophecy, is it a holy revelation?
And you tremble, with eyes closed tight, waiting.

'Tell me! ' you plead with God... 'Tell me! '
Then the secret comes and all you see is light.
White hot burning light, the essence of God's glory.
It is fitting to kneel in the presence of Christ.
Behold the Son of the Most High, the risen Lord...
And all that was written before means nothing.
Now is the time for revelation, for the Lord speaks.
And you are truly ready, for now is the time to write.
