I'm Sorry...
i've met two kinds of
i'm sorries,
one is short and scheming and
escaped from the
gallows of the just and
the noble,
the other, got caught in the
clutches of his conscience
and with a self-inflicted gunshot wound
pronounced the sentence
upon his chest
and finally rested in peace.
p.s.
what will be next? who?

From a Wound Self Inflicted
How many days of sadness,
Have you sat?
With still no reception,
Of an inner peace.
Or a wish to be reprieved,
From a wound self inflicted.
You pamper it as if...
Holding onto it,
Will eventually...
Clear the air you breathe.
Who came to visit you with agony?
And you decided to keep it to host!
Who came to convince,
A draining of your happiness...
Was a duty to impose.
With a closing out of any light...
That has left you etched against a darkness,
You decided to select with a satisfaction...
You chose!
How many days of sadness,
Have you sat?
With still no reception,
Of an inner peace.
Or a wish to be reprieved,
From a wound self inflicted.
You pamper it as if...
Holding onto it,
Will eventually...
Clear the air you breathe.
And nothing but a suffocation,
Is all I witness!
All that I see...
That keeps you shadowed.

All Kinds Of Time
The clocks running down
the teams losing ground
to the opposing defense
the young quarterback
waits for the snap
when suddenly it all starts to make sense
he's got all kinds of time
he's got all kinds of time
all kinds of time
he's got all kinds of time
all kinds of time
he takes a step back
he's under attack
but he knows that no one can touch him now
he seems so at ease
a strange inner peace
its all that he's feeling somehow
he's got all kinds of time
he's got all kinds of time
all kinds of time
he's got all kinds of time
all kinds of time
he thinks of his mother
he thinks of his bride to be
he thinks of his father
his two younger brothers
gathered around the wide screen t.v.
he looks to the left
he looks to the right
and there in a golden ray of light
and there his open man
just like he planned
the world is his tonight
he's got all kinds of time
he's got all kinds of time
all kinds of time
he's got all kinds of time
all kinds of time

(The) Benefit of Needless Conflict
Blessed are those,
Who awaken with insight!
Those who have been shakened,
From a need to maintain...
Routine indoctrinations,
Of a perceived sanity.
One in which restricts limited beliefs.
Inflicted to sustain pain and grief.
And becoming less frightened,
They are...
By a Creator who wishes them to envision,
A 'truth' that is!
A truth that frees a consciousness,
Reaching to seek a peace within!
A peace shared and released between mankind.
And with truth accepted,
This without obstruction...
Can and does finally begin.
Blessed are those,
Who awaken with insight.
Those who have been shakened,
From a need to maintain...
Routine indoctrinations,
Of a perceived sanity.
One in which restricts limited beliefs.
Inflicted to sustain pain and grief.
At the benefit of needless conflict.
That produces sicknesses of all kinds.
And let it be said,
It has been to no one's benefit...
To admit on this Earth,
In their minds reflecting upon it.
That any conflict ever condoned...
Has created a respect for peace.
At least none as yet that has been expressed,
Or urgently digested to put an end to conflicts known.
To manifesting a peace that increases this benefit,
As can be shown!

Pain is pleasure
When I took you in my arm
I felt having conquered.
When you took me in your palm
I felt having succumbed.
Upon holding you for manipulation
I ruled a victor.
Being held in your clutches
I slaved as a captive.
Every wound I inflicted upon you
Is a pleasure of pain to you.
Every friction you produced on me
Is a pleasure of strain to me.
I grew erotic, having chafed
While you did, having been chafed.
The Act of Love, a two way pleasure.

Fate and Conscience
In one corner sat my conscience
In the other stood my fate
My conscience it called out to me
Asking to negotiate
But fate refused to listen
And I lay right there between
The nagging of my conscience
And the seductiveness of dreams
When fate began to listen
And conscience ceased to rail
Against all of my weaknesses
Asssuming I would fail
Then peace fell full amongst us
And these players took their place
As artefacts of reason - not fundamental to the soul
And I stood tall amongst them
And finally felt whole.

Bullet Below Her Breast (missed...udderly)
Sad, Saggy Saga
Ninety three year old lady,
sad and bereft
By her beloved husband’s
untimely death
Decided to join him
and no longer be apart
Twould best be done
by a bullet to the heart
To her doctor posed the question,
“exactly where does my heart rest”
The doctor replied,
“just below your left breast”
Gunshot under her left breast
Failed to set her free
She was admitted to hospital
With gunshot wound to left knee

Forgiveness is not always easy. At times, it feels more painful than the wound we suffered, to forgive the one that inflicted it. And yet, there is no peace without forgiveness.

Glinda's Theme
Come over here and rest awhile
Look at the trip you've made
I know you must be tired by now
So rest here in the shade
Oh, the journey that you've had to make
I've watched you bear the load
But you can always stay at my place
When you come off the road
And if you ever need someone (need someone)
Count on me anytime (you can count on me)
I'll be here to pick you up
Because a rested body is a rested mind
Because a rested body is a rested mind
(Because a rested body is a rested mind)
A rested body is a rested mind

She Takes
She takes one step back
And falls to the ground
Can not seem to stop laughing
Joking they say to all she has done
Not nearly what she sees tonight
All kinds of time she says
All kinds of time
She has all kinds of time
Drinking with despair they take her down
Throwing it all around
She has no money to spare
As she ask for help from her friends
All kinds of time he says
All kinds of time
He has all kinds of time
Writing it all for him to see
The way he use to be
No father around as she passes out
From not sleeping she's been wishing
All kinds of time they say
All kinds of time
All kinds of time to break her down
Nothing around as she picks herself up
In a place that has no name
Came on a bus with a bottle
She's been drinking
She settles down with no help
Can't remember the last night she felt sound
All kinds of time she says
All kinds of time
She has all kinds of time

And Justice Is Done
when you wish no ill upon no one
when at the end of the day
you keep a conscience free from anger
and hate against anyone
when you finally rest your mind
in peace
and harmony with all the senses
of your self
when you wish peace and love
and goodness
when you keep yourself beautiful
in thoughts and deeds,
it is only then
when justice is done.

Out of fear
Out of fear
I had forgotten my own name
Somehow, I remembered yours
Calling by your name I escaped
From the clutches of robbers
They knew you
They admitted you
Friend and guide.

FAiLUREs
If you have become
Another failure
You must always give
Yourself a chance
There are no failures they keep
On saying that.
There are only suspended
Successes.
Everything is temporary.
Just like success.
Just like failure.
Keep on trying.
There is no harm on trying
They keep on saying that.
A failure is nothing
But a blessing in disguise.
Keep on writing then.
Until the perfect poem
Comes along.
Keep on thinking then.
Until the right idea
Reigns.
Keep going.
There is no stopping.
There is no quitting.
My friend,
I am here
Standing before your coffin.
To deliver this eulogy.
You keep on trying.
Until death
Has finally caught you.
Dear friend
Sleep now.
I must say you have
Finally rested
From our failures.

That Decision....
it was within my reach
but i keep my hands inside my pocket
my eyes compensated
but soon did they close
and rested upon the
clutches of
Reason and then there
was this quiet
where the immortal soul
sleeps

The most unkindest
For Mark Antonio to cry out:
‘This is the most unkindest cut of all’,
He required the brutal wound
Of Caesar, inflicted by the noble Brutus.
For me to feel with glut,
‘This is the most unkindest act of all’,
I had your resolute refusal
To grant my wish of you wearing my gift.
Happiness or sadness you can give me.
I shall take it with gladness or fortitude.
But no injurious moments, please.
I shall then be put to mental torture.
No lady kills her bird
that loves her hard!

A Lucid Dream Escape
I had a lucid dream
Not certain of waking or sleeping
I was inside another dream
Yet I was not sure of anything.
I tried to move my numb hands
Limp and paralyzed stiff
I tried unfeeling legs to stand
But I can't even move my lips.
My mind broke in a silent shout
As my eyes in quick vivid view
Scanned the darkened room about
If I was dreaming I had no clue.
Then pressure rested on my chest
And hardened breathing started
Gasping now, escaped that rest
I took in air and the dream had ended.

Escaping From Your Hands.....
i have escaped from being
one of those marionettes
and so i proclaim that
i
do not need much
i
have enough
of me
and you
and i do not wish to prolong
our
agonies
in the luxuries that have numbed
us into
wood and tin cans
and
scarecrows
i have finally escaped from your hands
slipping like
mud
and with my own hands i sculpt
a face
that you will never love.
