I Am Bewildered

there is that spider
spinning its house of memories

trapping some flying strangers
wrapping them
putting them in a warped time
eating them

is it mourning now?
one hears the sound of the falling of the leaf

now on the river
spasmodic to a distance

rushing rustling rubric
breaking finally at the junction

of cataclysm
change and destruction and then

the inner peace of the pond
that runs dry

consumed by itself
to the pebbles numb to the sun

HALO (High Altitude, Low Opening) freefall insertion (Terzanelle

Falling through space with rushing air
you dropp from a plane as if flying on wings
with wind blowing everywhere, sweat in your hair

with the morning glow radiating between things
and the sun creeping over the horizon in a red ball
you dropp from a plane as if flying on wings

with oxygen feeding through the mask you feel small
seeing the earth rushing in at great speed
and the sun creeping over the horizon in a red ball

and your eyes watch the altimeter spinning, taking heed
trusting implicitly on the gear
seeing the earth rushing in at great speed

you are falling at terminal velocity with fear
and sensing the distance
trusting implicitly on the gear

and you pull the drawstring, expecting enemy resistance,
falling through space with rushing air
and sensing the distance
with wind blowing everywhere, sweat in your hair

Falling Down

Is this world spinning round
Has this ship run aground
What's that shape
What's that sound
That's just me falling down

Some of us are free
Some are bound
Some will swim
Some will drown
Some of us are saints
Some are clowns
Just like me they're falling down

Well I lied to the nation
While my reputation ran dry
From my lungs to my liver
I clung to the river bank's side
Yeah well I'm back in the water
Doing what I oughta
Trying to lead an ordinary life

Is this world spinning round
Has this ship run aground
What's that shape
What's that sound
That's just me falling down

Some of us are green
Some are brown
Some are lost
Some are found
Sight unseen baby
Sound on sound
Pray for me I'm falling down

I was lost in the jungle
Crossed over enemy lines
Well I got me a red nose
By sleeping under hedgerows at night
Yeah well I tried levitation
Flying in formation
Heaven kows the weight of this crime

Is this
Is this world spinning round
Has this ship run aground
What's that shape
What's that sound
That's just me falling down

Drifting Away...

two leaves falling on the surface of
a very clear pond

there is no flood, no storm, no quake
but it must be fate

perhaps putting it bluntly a misfortune
all dead and numb yet still drifting away in some junctions

one to the left
and the other to the right

and i who stands on the bridge
seeking peace
looks at it with all
ease....

I Could Have Told You

THAT YELLOW
SOLO LEAF floating on a very clear pond,

was it last summer?
will it really matter when someone is finally gone?

will the wind remember?
will the deep water of the pond be always true to its clarity and peace?

that yellow leaf that sank on the very clear pond on one peaceful day

will someone still remember?

i think, i will,
if i, too, shall live
longer than
you.

Falling Waters..

falling waters rushing to and fro
boundless love, nature's gift from above
how wide, how wonderful, i stand in awe
Oh Lord, you are so good and true

its sound gives me peace and serenity
my heart leaps with joy, i couldn't ask for more
my soul is thirsty, you give me plenty
this falling waters rushing to and fro

there is so much that i can give to you
but you give me more than what i expect
this falling waters rushing to and fro
is more than enough of the love you give

i will be singing the songs of nature
of falling waters that runs to and fro
in my heart, in my dreams
saying..THANK YOU LORD..for this wonderful gift..

God is here....

last night i had a very sound sleep
it felt like a still pond without a fish
but only moss and stone and light

like there was a full moon
drifting among the tree tops
no ripple of the air from the winds of the sea

and i remember what i dream
no bridges and flood below this time
it was like a Chinese painting of a river and mountains behind

it was so peaceful
that i can hear the sound of the leaf falling from its branch

and i told myself
this is home,
this is heaven
and what i have been dreaming has become all too true

i now, believe,
God is here.

When The Rain Stopped Falling

there is this heavy rain
falling on top of your roof and it is so disturbing
that you wake up
and lock your windows
to shut yourself away from the sounds
of falling

but you cannot help worrying even when you cannot
literally hear the sound of the falling rain

you still imagine how they fall inside your mind
as though you can hear every syllable that every neddle of rain
is pricking in your brain
your ears
and your eyes still have the image of these
series of fallings

that even if the rain finally stopped
and you open your window to check
in the middle of this time
when morning cracks fromt the shutters of your windows

you still think like crazy
you hear the sound of the wind and it is like the sound of the falling
rain
and even if the wind has left like a leaf flown to the eastern side
of your house
even if there is no shadow of the leaf anymore
you hear your heart falling from your chest

now you must accept
leaving.
now you must accept the pain.
do not deny it.

it is you that is falling out
from the grace of her love.
it is you.

cry it out!
shout it!
it is you.!
it is you!
it is not the rain, it is not the wind, it is not the leaf that was blown away
towards the eastern part of the house.it is not the design of the house.
it is not the purple curtains. it is not the lonely courtyard
it is not the red bowl. it is not the tower.
it is not the blank sheets of paper.
it is not the bell.
it is not the winding stairs.
it is not the dirty garage.
it is not the scaffold.
it is not the white paint.
it is not the doorbell.
it is not the turbulence of the plane.
it is not the slap of the hand.
it is not the blue fan.
it is not the cellophance floating in the air and whirling in that corner
a dead-end.

it is you! and that is the truth!
be calm now. wipe the tears.
try sleep and dream.

The Neglected Pond

i may have neglected this pond
some fish are no longer swimming
eventually die in the water
their same burial place
some moss float and the lotus
has not borne any flower since
that day of mourning

someone as i leave may take
notice of this pond
and have pity and pour
everything there
to revive it or
take more perhaps for the
replacement

a new koi or
a gold fish
white pebbles and
a janitor fish

it does not matter for i still grieve
and grieving does not know what hope is
what a new house means
the trails to San Antonio
what are they? but same vomiting mud
and i won't take it
for an answer

Spinning :)

Round and round
Spinning to the ground
This sound of joy and happiness
The noises of enjoyment

The dance that takes place
Flying colours
Twirling shapes
Childish laughter

Round and round
The world keeps spinning
Despite all the anger
It’s spinning through darkness
Shedding light in all directions

This dance is fun
This dance will be won
Spinning, falling, laughing
I hunger for more of this
This colour, this happiness
This constant excitement

Spinning to the ground
The things that you see
Things that you hear
Leaving little space for fear

Jump up! Fall down!
Don’t ever stop spinning round!

Roll Away

(will jennings / martee lebow)
Everyday when I look in the mirror
I try to see where my souls at now
Happy day - is it further or nearer?
On the way, will I find it somehow?
Yesterdays gone
Love lead me on, oh
I wont ask why
Roll away - its only time and the river
Roll away - to the endless sea
Roll away - it could all change tomorrow
This is life in its glory
And the river runs free
Roll away
My dreams build the walls of the city
Broken hearts tear them all down
It aint always easy and pretty
Its just the world turning around
Give us this day
Give us this night, oh
Itll be all right
Roll away - its only time and the river
Roll away - to the endless sea
Roll away - it could all change tomorrow
This is life in its glory
And the river runs free
Oh, roll away
Everyday when I look in the mirror
I try to see where my souls at now
Roll away - its only time and the river
Roll away - to the endless sea
Roll away - it could all change tomorrow
This is life in its glory
And the river runs free
Roll away - its only time and the river
Roll away - to the endless sea
Roll away - it could all change tomorrow
This is life in its glory
And the river runs free
Roll away, ahh, oh
Ahh, ha, ho

When time began

Try to imagine our world without time
A timeless world that festers and rots;
But if some change no matter how brief
Could change this world and make a difference.
The “now” would be different than “before”
Indicative of the passing of time.
Thus time and change are related events
Because passing of time depends on change.
In our real world changes have never ceased
Some happen repeatedly some just once:
The breaking of waves against the seashore;
Or it’s a particular falling leaf.
When we first counted repeated changes
It was only then, friend, when time began.

Pushed It Over The End

Good lookin millys got a gun in her hand
But she dont know how to use it.
Sooner or later shell have to take a stand
And she aint about to lose it.
All the towns people gather around
Theyve come to see whats going down
Although no one hears a sound
Theres another poor man falling down.
Falling down, falling down.
Falling down, falling down.
On this lazy shore
Standing at the edge of you.
Could those dreams of yours be true
Or did you, did you, did you
Pushed it over the end?
How much time did you spend?
Pushed it over the end.
Good lookin millys into politics now
And things are looking much better
She keeps ten men in her garage
Knitting her fine sweaters.
At the end of a weary day
She feels hard and she looks hard.
Although no one hears a sound
Theres another poor man falling down.
Falling down, falling down.
Falling down, falling down.
I came back for more
And found you waiting at the door
And far inside your walls I called
Did you, did you, did you
Pushed it over the end?
How much time did you spend?
Pushed it over the end.
How much love did you spend?
Pushed it over the end.

Cascades

thoughts cascade
and the sound of your words make the
cascading sound of the rushing waters
a river
a flood
a rage that goes into the sea
taking everything: driftwood, pebbles, sand,
leaves, houses and even lives and islands

emotions like magma and lava flowing
from volcanic eruption

and then everything calms down, you see the shapes
solidifying

rage of rocks and cliffs in gray and silver colors
you see yourself

a mountain of rock facing the sea
breeze blows and cools off

a rage
and then some seeds fall and grow and become grasses
and trees
too green for your anticipation
and then

there is peace and
tranquility and a house that you start building
a woman
a wife and some children a

name, a father a family
a pillar of hope and a vision of the new sun

Dead Shells

not at all times that we stay on the deep
portion of the river we get tired sometimes
our limbs soft and weary we long for a little rest
a place where there is only foam and bubbles
and the sand and pebbles touching our pelvic bones.

there. On the shallow waters we rest our weary souls.
No thoughts. Just descriptions.

No descriptions. Just silence.
No silence. Just a driftwood.

No feelings at all. Numb and dumb.
Dry leaf buried on the sound. Dead shells.

What I Like From You

i like to think that you think that i am not at all serious about memories.
memories are not like seeds
they do not grow anywhere when thrown
memories are selective
for instance in our minds these memories think that they are special
and must be treated in such ways
like an important guest to be fed and pampered

there were memories that i killed
say i am cruel say i am one of those savages in the mountains
killing innocent natives direct to the eye

bull's eye bullshit bull's eye
the man fell straight to the ravine without the benefit of any doubt

at first we shiver but it will only be for that first time
and there is the second
and there is the nth time
and we become numb to ourselves
to our own words we embrace the silence of the

whatever whoever whenever
the who what where and when

there was that woman naked bathing in the river
and there was that monkey
did you hear the sound again? i wish i have no ears
i wish i have no mind at all

what have you made out of me? a doughnut, a black hole, a grass
a cloud.

Water so Deep and Profound

Water so sinuous and devious,
And as mystifying as you.
Water is always hiding its true self,
Never in one form.
Water can be the shimmer,
Reflecting off the light of the pond,
Making the pond seem magnificent.
Water can be the rushing sound,
As it escapes the secretive pond,
And runes down into the vast ocean,
Seeking adventure and unfound dreams.
Water can be the feeling of calmness,
As it sits there, overlooking the pond,
With wonder and seeing how it made it what it is.
Water so supple and wondrous,
The pond is born from the water.
Water so deep and profound,
Just like you,
The pond so incomplete without water,
Just like your family.

Not A Dry Eye In The House

Not a dry eye in the house
After loves curtain comes down
Listen and youll hear the sound
Hear the sound of a heart breaking
I can still see you standing there
Midnight wind blowing through your hair
Kisses sweet in the salty air
When love was forever
Turn the page and we fade to blue
The scene has changed now Im without you
Walked away when the act was through
And the dream was over
It was almost like a movie - the way you said goodbye
You must have a lot of time rehearsing each and every line
Now theres not a dry eye in the house
After loves curtain comes down
Listen and youll hear the sound
Hear the sound of a heart breaking
Not a smile left on my face
The endings just too sad to take
And theres not a dry eye
Not a dry eye in the house
The greatest story was you and me
Had it all we had everything, but now the
Storys done its just history
The last act is over
You every line had the sweetest sound
Your every touch turned my world around
But the light came up and my world crashed down
End of show - its over
It was almost like a movie
Those nights we touched the stars
Time stood still for you and i
Now its sad enough to make you cry
Now theres not a dry eye in the house
After loves curtain comes down
Listen and youll hear the sound
Hear the sound of a heart breaking
Not a smile left on my face
The endings just too sad to take
And theres not a dry eye
Not a dry eye in the house
Act one - the storys just begun
Act two - I fell in love with you
Act three - knew it was meant to be
Act four - you dont love me no more
And theres not a dry eye in the house
After loves curtain comes down
Listen and youll hear the sound
Hear the sound of a heart breaking
Not a smile left on my face
The endings just too sad to take
And theres not a dry eye
Not a dry eye
Not a dry eye in the house
After loves curtain comes down
Listen and youll hear the sound
Hear the sound of a heart breaking
Not a dry eye in the house (3x)

In a Train-Car to the Moon With You

Waltzing through the cars,
Soaring through the stars,
Love comes flooding down,
With it comes the sound,
Music from magnetic fields,
In a train-car to the moon with you.

Fireflies light up your eyes,
Like burning suns in darkened skys,
So far away, on distant worlds,
Inhabited by pretty girls,
Rushing fast through time and space,
In a train-car to the moon with you.

Dreams of flying can't compare,
When we dance, we dance on air,
The wheels are spinning without rails,
My heart is spinning fairytales,
The world is fading far behind,
A train-car to the moon with you.

Rain

Rain falling always falling pain hurting never ending
Tear come off tears of sorrow fear after day tomorrow
Cry when there's no use crying goodbye there's no use trying
It all runs together when your love once are gone
And your head spins in circles you're lyin' with your face down and you're afraid
Salvation army band playin' in their all night stand
Rain pourin' from the sky blind people passin' by
No one will help 'em now no one will even try
It all runs together...
This is his time at last (this is his time) his life is fading fast
His faith is fled away (his faith is gone) he tries but cannot break
This is the way we live (this is the way) we take and never give
It all runs together...
Rain falling always falling...
Someone could have helped him but no one would try
Cause their pride wouldn't let them and now he's gonna die there in the rain
Shall we gather at the rain (shall we gather at the river)

A Top made of a Coconut Tree Leaf

A weaving magic on a green coconut tree leaf ;
The leaf top rotates on the childhood rod fast.
No canker, the child runs with the top of green leaf,
Which, making the rustic road dizzy, spins fast.
Moss of disgust never gathers on the spinning top;
The drooping boredom spins away, as the child runs
With the top.It withers and gets slow under hot rays.
It did spin clockwise: one wishes anti-clockwise.
