Cascades
thoughts cascade
and the sound of your words make the
cascading sound of the rushing waters
a river
a flood
a rage that goes into the sea
taking everything: driftwood, pebbles, sand,
leaves, houses and even lives and islands
emotions like magma and lava flowing
from volcanic eruption
and then everything calms down, you see the shapes
solidifying
rage of rocks and cliffs in gray and silver colors
you see yourself
a mountain of rock facing the sea
breeze blows and cools off
a rage
and then some seeds fall and grow and become grasses
and trees
too green for your anticipation
and then
there is peace and
tranquility and a house that you start building
a woman
a wife and some children a
name, a father a family
a pillar of hope and a vision of the new sun

Are You Willing To Pay The Price?
there are two houses
two distant islands
on one island there are only two colors
black and white
nothing in between
no shades, no hues
no compromises of
blending
it is a hard, disciplined structure
where rocks are rocks
same shapes, same weight, same burdens
on the other hand the other island is
full of colors,
it is like law being let go
into freedom
call it a rainbow where pots of gold are found
where seemingly everything goes on and on
but with
responsibility
the trees grow leaves of different
colors and
striations and shapes
it is surprising
it happens
the rocks there move
like living heads of mushrooms
the rivers sometimes take their rest
freezing cold
and hard and then turning into mobile water again
singing
there is no bridge between this two
no connection
nothing familiar about each
but i live in both
i know the secret path
and if you want to know it
let me ask: are you willing to pay the price?

Rage And Then Regret
Was it rage or regret
Or the love I was feeling
In this age - who's perfect... are you?
Wasn't made to forget
This moment worth stealing
Was it rage or regret or the two
Every morning when I wake up
Wake up dreaming then... wake up dreaming
Build a temple from you fragrance
Build a chapel in your heart
Do you really understand
Do you feel the need to try
Do you even care for me
Do you ever wonder why
Rage and then regret
'Bout as real as real can get
Rage and then regret
Through the violence the angry silence
Does our love grow strong or die
A parachute or a pilot's licence
Do we fall in love or fly
Do you really understand
Do you feel the need to try
Do you even care for me
Do you ever wonder why
Rage and then regret
'Bout as real as real can get
Rage and then regret
The harder we come
The harder we fall
The harder it is to stand tall
The more that we fight
The more that we brawl
The more we're alike - that's all... that's all
Rage and then regret
'Bout as real as real can get
Rage and then regret
Rage and then regret
'Bout as real as real can get
There are things you don't forget
Anger cools to idle threats

A Bed On The Water
a bed floats in the middle of the river
you swim
to catch sleep
the bed is taken by the rage of the river
on a flood that rises
up to your chin
you sleep on the water
the cruel bed is gone
the rage of the river subsides
there is peace now
among the lilies

Do Not Go Gentle Into That Good Night
Do not go gentle into that good night,
Old age should burn and rave at close of day;
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.
Though wise men at their end know dark is right,
Because their words had forked no lightning they
Do not go gentle into that good night.
Good men, the last wave by, crying how bright
Their frail deeds might have danced in a green bay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.
Wild men who caught and sang the sun in flight,
And learn, too late, they grieved it on its way,
Do not go gentle into that good night.
Grave men, near death, who see with blinding sight
Blind eyes could blaze like meteors and be gay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.
And you, my father, there on that sad height,
Curse, bless, me now with your fierce tears, I pray.
Do not go gentle into that good night.
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

No One Steps Twice On The River Of Life...
it is not the rage of this river.
when i was a child, as mother says,
i keep my finger inside my mouth
sucked by my throat, to keep hunger away
beside the bank of this river
i am the spectator
and the river believes in the magic
of my innocence
it flows always in a distant
affection,
it is not the rage of the river,
it is i, the grown up man who goes swimming
in the river and feel
the joys of its cool waters
always moving on towards
a destination
it is the swimming with a friend
and then
with a lover and then with a wife
and then my silence,
what we do not have we force to forget
it is the bathing in the river
the rinsing and the cleansing of the waters
it is not the rage of this river
and then we become too weak to be in this river
the river moves on and on
towards the deepest sea looking for the
opening
i wait by the bank of this river
many things have been missed
the more important ones
the one that gives the posterity of
my humanity
it is denied of me because of this river
that gives me nothing
all the while i was the leaf that fell off from
the tree
on the side of this river
and i floated because i have nothing to do
because i can do nothing about
the flow of the river
i become the dead leaf that the air
rides upon
tossed and bumped on boulders
till i sink
deep down the river
that i shall pass only once.
time.

Just Follow The Flow
just follow the flow
of words like the water flowing on the river
like the paper boat on the water flowing to the river
like the river flowing through the edges of banks
above the stones and pebbles of
everything swerving from mountain to mountain
of least resistances
the rocks that block your path you
just kiss them and then you go
following the flow again with the wind above you
just folow the flow of your thoughts in your heart
you do not even like to see
everything is smooth, freely flowing, taking shape
and form and having scent and perfume and so exuding
and then
an explosion inside well kept and taken care of
it is great, it is really great that feeling
so short and quick and yet so appealing
no one hears it except you because you
love it and so it has become so real
to your touch

Fluid
emotions you must realize are fluid
and they flow sometimes misguidedly
sometimes blocked and
dammed and you see
a jail, a cell, a wall, an island without a bridge
a sea without a boat
a rainy day without any rainbow,
you are fluid, you must realize that too,
you flow, and surge and rage and
fall, sometimes, you splatter
and feel like a splinter
of a hand
grenade.
you feel something that behaves like a river inside you
and you hear the sound of rage, sometimes just a hush
or even a rain dropping from the sky to the gutter,
and you feel you're inside this gutter
and you have no control, about where to go and what to do,
this is
what is dripping all about
drip, drip, drip, and you feel this sloshing mind like a slime
getting inside the sensational strips of your throat
like words in your mind
pouring unceasingly, to make this poem.
what is this all about? you pretend to know. What to do about it?
i know you do not really know. Gut it. Gut feel it. Trust your heart.
Let the rage seep in like it is an innate part of you.

What I Need
a rising sun between two breasts
of mountains green and lushing
trees and a blanket of daisies on
grasses soft and rivers with waters
flowing on a bed of rocks and stones
and sand, a hushing sound of a song
a maiden young and wondering if i
this man shall kiss her lips tonight
when the moon is full when the stars
are glistening like diamonds in the skies.

Us
The river in you moves
Taking the least resistance
You shall be the water
That seeks your own level
In calm and still moments
Let me fish
In your moments of rage
I shall be the rock
In the moments of your dryness
I shall be the river bed nearby
We shall be always here
I shall be the bamboo grove
And you shall be the waters of the creek
Slowly passing, gently flowing by

How I Can Smell Like Dusts And Molds....
i take a walk this morning
in this village of trees where there are no houses of
dwellers,
i am looking for a peaceful place as i carry with me a load of some
thoughts heavy on my hair
i do not think that i am being punished with these
i am just trying to take my time
listening to my own footsteps
to the sound of the leaves on those grasses and trees
a river walks along with me
that is how i see it
it is a water traveler wanting a companion
towards a far end
that it knows too well for i am but new here
a lost stranger to his view
a novice of distance
i bring peace in my heart, i have set some pigeons free
my gifts to the balding mountains and to the hills with brown grasses
no pen, no paper, nothing about personal computers or cellphones
no signal, i am satisfied,
i am sucking air, words are carried with it in my nostrils
the river smiles, flows, and winds itself like a snake smooth on the grass
i listen too much, i become this earth
the river winds around my hair, birds are building nests,
the owl sleeps for the night beside my ears,
how peaceful is this place, how foolish had i been for all those years
hiding behind those rooms and rooms of books,
which explains why the river says that i smell nothing but
dusts and molds.

Listen
What is that sound?
Like the trailing of a fan
through a silent anteroom?
It is the murmur of air
ruffling leaves.
It is the herald of the whirlwind
which will strip those leaves from their trees
and wrench the trees from the hillside
and blast the soil from the rocks beneath,
leaving the skeleton of the earth
to bleach and crumble.
And what is that sound?
Like a cascade of pearls
on a silver salver?
It is the rushing of the waterfall
in the Italian garden.
It presages the tempest and the raging ocean
which smashes the earth's boundaries
and drives the rivers back up to their sources,
drowning and destroying everything that lives in air.
And what is that sound?
Like the crackle of dry twigs
under the heavy boots of soldiers?
It is the fire in the hearth,
logs spitting, blue and yellow flame dancing
under the granite lintel.
It is the messenger of the Sun
which will rage and burn the planet
to a cloud of incandescent interstellar dust
for the winds of space to disperse forever.
And what is that sound?
High and plaintive
behind the polished nursery door?
It is the crying of a two-day-old baby.
It tells of the heavy tramp of armies
across the continents of the world
marching to the rhythms
of dark gods
bringing the destruction of cities
and the extinguishing of civilisations.
It is the sound of an empty skull
there in the desert,
abandoned by dog and raven,
dry and bleached and splitting along the seams,
home to gusts of wind
and the occasional locust.
These are the sounds of the end of human
endeavour,
the end pages of books,
the silence which silences the symphony.
When the gums shrivel and decay,
the teeth are cracked and broken
and there is to be found no place where the smile
or its shadow has ever been;
no echo of long ago laughter.
This is the sound of eternity.

Cascading
i am like a cascading water
fall
rushing to meet you
even in the midst
of some
boulders of rocks
beside
cliffs and ravines
the moment i
touch you
love cascades too
like rain from
a heavy cloud
an outburst of
desire
an explosion
of an absence
long suppressed
deep inside
our palpitating
lusts
two waters cascading
from our
bosoms and hands and
thighs and feet
like a big murky river
longing
for the mouth leading
to the sea

When a million people congrugate and,
Fillin' up the day good streets.
They join in the celabration,
Hey Domingo can't be beat.
Each body look just like the last one.
Twenty-one through twenty-five.
Before you, if you dont belong here.
Fatalidelity is ours.
One voice united for a purpose.
One voice to rise above the others.
Is it the rage?
Where is rage oooOoo?
Is it the same?

Rage Hard
(gill/johnson/nash/otoole)
Rage! rage! rage! rage!
Rage hard!
Laugh like the head of apollo
Young and strong on the wings of tomorrow
Rise up in millions get off your knees
Dispelling the demons
In the valley of danger
We all work together, sculptures in sorrow
With love light to follow, on
Sweet head of apollo
Rage hard, into the light
Rage hard, doing it right, doing it right
Rage hard, against the dark
Rage hard, make your mark
Let the tournament begin
Dont give up and dont give in
Strength to rise up, strength to win
Strength to save the wor(l)d from losing
Rage hard, into the light
Rage hard, doing it right
Rage hard, against the dark
Rage hard
Rage!
Rage hard
Though blue eyes of children
They shine without fear
Hope is the future, with oceans of cheer
Nothing to fear
Theres nothing to fear
Though laughter of angels resounding
From heaven keep fighting the favours
Of charlatan saviours, charlatan saviours
Rage hard, into the light
Rage hard, doing it right, doing it right
Rage hard, against the dark
Rage hard, make your mark
Let the tournament begin
Dont give up and dont give in
Rage hard, into the light
Rage hard, doing it right
Rage hard, against the dark
Rage hard, make your mark
I dont know which way to go
My loves like driven snow
When we past the test of time
My love you shall be mine
And if only, lost and lonely
Is all thats wrong with me, we ll be free
Be free, be free
Laugh like the head of apollo
Young and strong on the wings of tomorrow
Rage hard
Rage hard
Let the tournament begin
Dont give up and dont give in
Rage hard, into the light
Rage hard, doing it right
Let the tournament begin
Dont give up and dont give in
Strength to rise up, strength to win
Strength to save the wor(l)d from losing

(Angry Poem) Bringing Forth A Demon
I make a cut a so clean.
Bring forth a soul of a demon.
Wicked thoughts of what I can do to you.
The rage is building inside.
Looking through blood shot eyes.
Lightning raining down from the sky.
The storm has arrived. let chaos reside.
Like I haven't dealt with enough.
Like I'm not already fed up or mentally done.
Come put your stuff on the pile.
I'll get around to it in my own good god damn time.
Patients is a virtue that has just ran out.
I lose all my composure.
I scream and shout at the top of my lungs.
Like anyone can actually hear me.
Let it fall on deaf ears.
Finally the end is near.
I can feel the fear, as one can smell the rose.
Its is closure in all its glory.
I'm ready to close this book.
The last of a story so old.
I have grown cold and tired of it.
So with the last of my energy. I make a cut so clean.
Bring forth a soul of a demon.
Wicked thoughts of what I can do to you.
The rage is building up inside.
Looking through bloodshot eyes.
Lighting raining down from the sky.
Let chaos reside.
So many tears run red.
becoming one with dead.
Vicious words are said.
You just can't let it go.
You can't just leave me alone.
The hell hounds are always biting at my heels.
Just wait I'll show you exactly how it feels.
Here's the deal.
See these scars are part of me.
So with the last of my energy.
I make a cut so clean.
Bring forth a soul of a demon.
Wicked thoughts of what i can do to you.
The rage is building up inside.
looking through these bloodshot eyes.
Lighting raining down from the sky.
Let chaos reside
just let the chaos reside.
I can envision a river of bone.
Crossing it alone.
You act if this is the way i wanted it.
when you know damn well I was at my last resort.
whine and moan, as everything burns.
Liquid fire melts everyone and everything.
This is all my little black heart desires.
With the last of my energy.
I make a cut so clean.
bring forth a soul of a demon.
wicked thoughts of what i can do to you.
the rage is building up inside.
Looking through bloodshot eyes.
Lighting raining down from the sky.
Let chaos reside
Just let chaos reside
Just let my chaos reside.

The Life I Live
It has been said that blue is the color of the sky although others may say
Blue is an emotion when someone is close to tears-
Sad, melancholy and disheartened-
I look upwards toward the sky on a sunny day when
I don’t feel sad and blue.
Green is the color of the leaves upon the trees, although
I have heard others say they are jealous- green or envious-
I enjoy the trees, especially in the summertime,
Blown about in a gentle and cooling breeze-
The same leaves turn yellow, gold and orange in the autumn and
Fire blazes a bright red in color-
It is the fire of my spirit that burns
When anger plagues my troubled mind-
Rain falls and puts out the fires but
The rage inside of me is a shade of red that will not be tamed.
I look upward towards the sky on a sunny day,
As the leaves upon the trees rustle in the wind-
I pray for the rain to fall to quench the fury that burns my soul-
I don’t feel melancholy blue or jealous-green-
I have days when I enjoy the colors of the autumn foliage-
But the color red of rage defines the life I live.
Today I glance upward toward the blue sky and the leaves upon the trees-
Today I feel sad and blue and close to tears because
Of the pain that the fire inside of me that is always burning-
If the sun and the trees could laugh and send me good vibrations perhaps
They would cheer me and I could capture the colors blue, green, orange and yellow-
And perhaps even red as being bold and beautiful-
And with these colors I could paint a rainbow upon my horizon and
There would be no reason for anger to smolder my heart again-
I could laugh with the sun at the splendor of the rainbow against the sky of cobalt blue- And glad to say that raging fire of resentment
Is behind me now and I never feel sad and blue because
I have repainted my world with colors of joy, happiness and eagerness
To live my new life beneath that rainbow of contentment.-

Being With All Of You
to be honest
being with
all of you
is like a rock
protruding
in the middle
of the rage
of this strong
river
you are the rock
and i am the
rage of that
strong river
moving away
from you
