For Things That We Cannot Change
the establishment
is at it again
deaf ears
strong hands
stiff minds
hard bodies
resisting change
of the clenched fists
there they are again
on barb-wired fences
defining boundaries
of thoughts
exclusiveness shutting out
variations of the race
this is the political science
of exclusion
of prisons and walls
here they are again
at the emphasis of penalties
and fines
setting aside the art
of compassion
the fusion
the inclusions
this art of loving
and giving meaning
and welcoming whatever
differences
in colors and creed
the magnanimous
art of toleration
here we are again
back to the beginning of time
the age of
renaissance
the flowering of hope
the blooms
of thoughts

Marking The Boundaries
this is yours and
this is mine
you do not step within
my own line
and circle
i exclude you and you
must exclude me
as we mark the boundaries
of our
lonely territories
what if we change
this law of exclusion into the
nicer code
of inclusions like
this is ours and we
are one
we are brothers and sisters
the earth as our mother
the sky as father
and the rest of the humanity
as stars
the heavens smile
the space bends into a vow
the journey though long
and there is no time
nor light years
to mark our differences
there are no more fragments
of this porcelain jar
there is only a spread of silk
in space
and we are the intricacies
of that beautiful design
embroideries of God
sequins and diamond glitters
of that whole dress
in that party of happiness

Accustomed To Ignoring Their Own Treasures
When I came to give,
Hands were closed.
And fists were clenched.
Prepared what seemed to me to be,
Arguments conflicting with my interests.
Then when it became discovered,
What I came to give...
Would be of benefit.
Hands surrounded me opened like cups.
And those with clenched fists,
Were prepared to pat me on the back.
As if a lost relative had for them been missed.
When I CAME to give,
Hands were closed.
And fists were clenched.
An impression made,
I have not forgotten since.
When I CAME to offer,
I was immediately dismissed.
And NOW...
Today?
I've learned my worth is too valuable.
Too genuine to just give away.
Especially to those,
Accustomed to ignoring their own treasures.
And suspicious of those,
Who have chosen them to give.
Prehaps my approached for them was too sincere.
Since from them 'then'...
I HAD asked for nothing.

Need Your Loving Tonight
No I'll never look back in anger
No I'll never find me an answer
You promised me you'd keep in touch
I read your letter and it hurt me so much
I said I'd never never be angry with you
I don't wanna feel like a stranger no
Because I'd rather stay out of danger
I read your letter so many times
I got your meaning between the lines
I said I'd never never be angry with you
I must be strong so she won't know how much I miss her
I only hope as time goes on I'll forget her
My bodies aching can't sleep at night
I'm to exhausted to start a fight
And if I see her with another guy
I'll eat my heart out because I love her
Love her love her love her
Come on baby let's get together
I'll love you baby I'll love you forever
I'm trying hard to stay away
What made you change? What did I say?
Oooh I need your loving tonight
Oooh I need your loving
Oooh I need your loving
Oooh I need your loving babe tonight
Hit me
Oooh I need your loving tonight
No I'll never look back in anger
No I'll never find me an answer
Can't be no warning how could I guess?
I'll have to learn to forgive and forget
Oooh I need your loving
Oooh I need your loving
Oooh I need your loving tonight

Cutting The Heads
how many heads have my thoughts
grown? aplenty, and you say
thumbs down, you do not like the way
these thoughts are going,
i give you the power to cut all of them
extract my eyes so i cannot see
chop my ears so i cannot hear
but give my power back to grow
them all again
these time faces that you cannot
remember
thoughts that bloom like flowers
long eradicated by your
time,
let me have the seeds of thoughts
that will grow moments again
about a new
beginning
sprouts of my requests
no longer begging
for mercy.

Some Prisons Don't Have Walls
As I walk down this busy street
I think about your leaving
How my life may never be the same
I know I should be planning ways
To enjoy this endless freedom
Losing you has put my heart in chains.
Darling, some prisons don't have walls
Your memory won't let me go at all
I found no way out since you've been gone
Some prisons don't have walls.
Every night I turn the tv on
To break the sound of silence
For a while it takes you off my mind
Just when I feel over you reality surrounds me.
There I am right back doing time.
Darling, some prisons don't have walls
Your memory won't let me go at all
I found no way out since you've been gone
Some prisons don't have walls...

Tapped The Doors Of Sky
Just extended my hands to the sky
Tried to knock the doors of the sky
Just my mind rose up tired of all those thoughts
Those thoughts are dark hard to be solved
but how a pity this time they are on my road
No way to run out of these dark thoughts
Unfortunately they are the realities of our world's
With both of my hands I tapped the highest skies
Just wanted to talk with my God
I asked him for patience
Though God knows my patience is strong enough
But these days nothing is strong enough to survive
Just begged him and asked him for help
I know nothing but my faith in God
Still survives in my heart
Everything else is waist of time
Only the God can help us now.

Thoughts Just Thoughts0
Who am i?
A lonely vesicle
An open shell
Only to be filled with thoughts
Only thoughts
Thoughts capable of causing
Causing so much damage
Thoughts that falsify good intentions
Thoughts I hope will never cross
Even the darkest of people
But I continue to smile
It’s all we can do
But we are continually
Insisted to cry
We let our eyes fill
With salty waters
And lock those doors
We hide behind
Reassuring ourselves
Those others are on the outside
So we are stuck in this isolation
That is welcoming and intimidating
All at the same time we cry
We show our emotions
To no one but ourselves

In The Movie Of The Mind...
to get back the substance of
my meaning
i must learn to speak the wisdom
of nonsense
you laugh and it only in the absurdity of your
childish laughter
that you get back what is long due you
that understanding
that there is actually nothing great that
amazes us
into belief
into the appreciation of the apparel of life
its accessories
there are no earrings to the
ears of mankind
there are only ears missing what it must
rightly hear
to get back the real meaning of my existence
i must believe in nothing
i must float in air
and this is what they call as soul
ghost
winds, sighs, whispers
sweet nothings
i take back meaning and i throw away everything
that i have collected in my hands
i hold emptiness now
and so i have become so full
it is this irony
this paradox that makes reality
one is not one and earth is never earth
thoughts can never be thoughts
dog to dog, dust to dust
when we speak again try to find out what is in our mouth
i am opening my mouth now
you laugh, it is still the same tongue
same teeth
there is nothing about this philosophy
there is only this restlessness that looks for a seat
in the dark, waiting that somehow this is another movie house
and there is coming
the next show.

Beyond Our Prison Walls
our prisons are too many
the penalties imposed upon us
are heavy
everything is passed from one mouth
to another
this prison of tradition
and what we have are just kettles and
ladles
a few spoons and some
crooked forks
some moldy fats of pork
and hardened bread like bricks
upon our walls and rooms
i am tired of those other prisons
handed to us and
well kept by our respect for what
is old
the mind is the prison
and thoughts and imagination are our wings to our well deserved freedom
we do not deserve this
weakness this self imposed defeat
we are not worms
we butterflies and all these fragile wings
shall take us
beyond the tops of molded hills
beyond us
our better selves
our very own proclamations that we are not the children and heirs
of gods
but that we too
are godly creatures with divinity in our hearts
our sacrileges tattooed on our skins and bones

Loving thoughts
Loving thoughts
~
it is not my heart but ours
which beats to this
not a single dream held
and chased as one
but something aspired to
by two minds
two hearts together
sharing thoughts
and feeling the same
it is not one tear
not even on cross word
or loving kiss
a hand caressing
neither one loving look
but a life, two life's
openly shared
it is not my heart
but ours which beat
to thoughts such as this

0270 Strange Day (for DW)
You’re walking down the street
in the usual way
when you catch someone’s passing gaze
and just like that you suddenly hear
all their inner thoughts – non-stop,
all over the place: good ones, bad ones,
a cacophony of stuff, you wonder why
they don’t go mad with it – you look at them,
they look quite normal, unconcerned…
then you look at someone else – the same thing happens;
what can you do for them? You can’t start
to talk to everyone about their thoughts
all the time, you’d go mad yourself…
what makes them like this? What
are they all looking for that they have
to do all this thinking?
Suddenly you feel tremendously sorry
that they should be like this; you’re
overwhelmed with –- compassion - for
the human race, that all this stuff
should get in the way of – what?
and as you walk, slower now,
trying to hide the flood of tears
and feeling some sort of holy idiot,
glorious and embarrassed at the same time,
the terrible chaos of those thoughts goes quiet, peaceful, silent, still,
and now you feel light and full of light,
and loving what you see in them
yes all of them,
as if you’d never felt any other way
and you’re so sure of this, that you’ll
always know how to tell them, some way, too
that this is how they really are
it’s all so obvious

Love Has No Color
(pilson, hendrix)
Imagine if you had a second chance at life
What would you change that time to try and make it right
With black and white, uniting colors everywhere
When all the violence stops will love be in air
With living theres hope
Youve only got to care, oh yeah
No matter how far down you go
Theres always a way back
Lets all come together now
A whole lotta loving is what we need
Join hands now brothers and sisters
Dont you see its time for a change
Everyones afraid to believe
Love has no color
Love has no color
Mr politician how do you sleep
Youre making promises you know youll never keep
Were gonna spread the message all across the land
Lay down your arms so we can hold each others hands
With living theres hope
Youve got to understand, oh yeah
You know that while theres a still a sun
There always wuill be light
Lets all come together now now
A whole lotta loving is what we need
Join hands now brothers and sisters
Dont you see its time for a change
Everyones afraid to believe
Love has no color
Love has no color
Lets all come together now now
Love has no color
Join hands now brothers and sisters
A whole lotta loving is what we need
Lets all comes together now now
A whole lotta loving is what we need, yeah
Join hands now brothers and sisters
Dont you see its time for a change
Everyones afraid to believe
Believe in love
You know you gotta believe
Believe in love
Got to got to believe
Believe in love
You know you gotta believe
Believe in love
Love has no color
Believe in love
Love has no color
Believe in love
Love has no color
Believe in love
You know you know you know you gotta believe
Believe in love

May we not succumb to thoughts of violence and revenge today, but rather to thoughts of mercy and compassion. We are to love our enemies that they might be returned to their right minds.

This Newly Loving Game
I had some time this morning that clarified my mind
The thoughts that drifted past me were of a quiet and gentle kind
I'm not saying I'm in love with you, I'm just saying that I find
That thoughts keep drifting past me of a quiet and gentle kind.
The feelings that I'm having are not easy to explain
It’s been some time since I've been in this newly loving game
It's all slow moving on now and I really can't explain
The rules that we should follow in this newly loving game.
I took the time this afternoon to write my thinking down
And all the time I wondered why and let my mind go round
Around and around the time we've spent and what I feel I've found
It took some time, I wondered why and said my thoughts aloud.
Then I ripped up the paper and I threw it on the floor
The words that I had written were like trying to keep a score
I'd tried to use my reasonings as I had done before
And the marks upon that paper had no meaning anymore.
The way that all this seems to me is not easy to explain
It’s been some time since I've been in this newly loving game
It's all slow moving on now and I really can't explain
The rules that we should follow in this newly loving game.
I spent some time this evening thinkin' of just who I am
What I like about me and what is it that I can
Offer up to someone who, when all this thing began,
Was not needing of lover nor even of a man.
Yes, we do have common interests and we can talk for hours
We share a love of poets and a questioning of power
We hold each other closely even though we're wondering how
This thing that we are making could be completely ours.
The feelings that I have for you are not easy to explain
It’s been some time since I've been in this newly loving game
It's all slow moving on now and I really can't explain
The rules that we should follow in this newly loving game.
There is a lack of time for us and some hurt within our hearts
And that got me on to thinking that our paths are really hard.
The time I took to think today was 'bout us being apart
And the way we are beginning yet not knowing how to start.
The feelings that I have now are not easy to explain
It’s been some time since I've been in this newly loving game
It's all slow moving on now and I really can't explain
The rules that we should follow in this newly loving game.

Whatever The Cost!
into the wetness, ,
lips burnt and bare..
hard hands gone soft,
thoughts falling like drizzle.
gentle, almost tugging,
pulled close to the fire.
till singed, still smoking,
left in the darkness to die.
a thousand deaths though it be,
with each a universe conceived.
the walls of Rome crumble,
to the shouts and the horns.
a crucifix, and a blade,
sharp on both edges.
the taste of blood and beginning,
raw, simple, and strong...
into the wetness,
whatever the cost!

Purple Glitter.....An Ode To Writers
When blackened skies shroud
Purple thoughts are thrust
As sprinkles of glitter dust
Up through the atmospheric pressure
To islands of pixies
Who share
Clouded thoughts and wishful dreams
As silent screams
Fall on ears
As bloody tears
Recite out loud or whisper
Of autumnal leaves
Crisper
Are the icicles which dance through eyes and minds and lips
Softer
Are the tears that flow
Through meandering streams of minds which weep
Than the thoughts of ones
Own......

barb-wired it

Thoughts Mind Soul Echoes
thoughts like children
scatter from our mind
thoughts were part of us?
thoughts came from us?
thoughts live beyond us?
thoughts outlive our lives?
thoughts mind soul echoes
haunting fragments of mind
light shines through prisms
separates into colour bands
thought trails sunset colours
spectrum ribbons thoughts
spiral into keen conceptions
meaning insight discriminates

One Earth and One Sky
The sky is one
The earth is one
But we are not one
We are divided in the name of
caste, creed, race, religion and culture
and so many other differences
Science has developed
but could not adjoin us
it is a pity?
why we are unable
to understand feelings of others
Are we blunt?
The birds are better
they can fly anywhere
but where we are?
Are we engaged
only to rejoice the reins
and powers
Must not we proceed
we simplify our action
accessible to all

My Thoughts
Thought in the eyes,
The ears.
Thought in mind,
The brain,
Thought in heart,
The soul.
Great thought is great
when it becomes great deeds.
With my thoughts within
Building my world within
Learning with thought;
Is great learning wisdom.
Learning without thought,
Is opportunity lost.
Thought for others
Thought for God
Thought for good
Thought for God’s blessing
Thoughts teach me,
Thoughts educate me,
Thoughts clarify me,
Thoughts enlighten me.
Thoughts make me wise
Thoughts make me patience
Thoughts make me trust others
Thoughts make me clam.
Thoughts before act
Is smart and wise
Act before thoughts
Is stupid and foolish
That’s my thoughts
They make thinking clear
They make belief deepen
They make confidence high.
In thoughts, my world
In my world, make my thoughts.
In thoughts, my words
In my words, make my speech
It’s my thoughts count
Counting my thoughts
To endless counting thoughts
Thinking the thoughts endlessly
My thoughts and thoughts again.
