for K....
BEWARE, the end is about to touch you
what you have in your hands
none shall be taken when you are finally taken
what you keep in the house shall dissolve like ice
all your secret stories revealed
all your hidden books open themselves like arms of the mad woman
all your accounts exposed
you are dirty, your are sick
and you are dying....
we are ready with the prayers for the dead
we have picked the best flowers for your coffin
we are not at all cruel
despite....
we are forgiving, we shall understand,
even death does not deserve you
much less
hell.
we shall shed no tears for you
it will serve no purpose.
we will not tell those who mourn for you
that you have done us evil.

Facing Hell
You make promise of protection
To a future after life
To the final resurrection
And to eternal paradise
But then I'm blinded with temptation
And to every mortal sin
Is it God that sits there waiting?
Or will the darkness suck me in
Let's wake up the dead
Oh yeah
It's better that never you know
More tears are shed
Oh yeah
I'm praying that you'll never know
That I'm facing hell
Oh the children sit and listen
The belief was in their eyes
In a land without tomorrows
Through the night you hear their cries
But then your eyes just skip the pages
Of a book that never ends
Is it God that sits there waiting?
Do you hear the call again?
Let's wake up the dead
Oh yeah
It's better that never you know
More tears are shed
Oh yeah
I'm praying that you'll never know
That I'm facing hell
It's just crazy world we live in
And I'm out of my mind
You pray tomorrow but your leaving today
Evil one is coming and he's knocking your door
Cause todays the day you'll pay
Let's wake up the dead
Oh yeah
It's better that never you know
More tears are shed
Oh yeah
I'm praying that you'll never know
Let's wake up the dead
Oh yeah
It's better that never you know
More tears are shed
Oh yeah
I'm praying that you'll never know
That I'm facing hell
That I'm facing hell
That I'm facing hell
That I'm facing hell

When A Hero Comes
When a hero comes
There'll be no more fear
When our hero comes
No longer will we shed tears
When that hero comes
They'll pave the way
To a brighter and better day
When a hero comes
When our hero arrives
Evil better beware
You better be prepared
Cause the bullets will rip through the air
When a hero comes
Now you better get ready
Cause its starting soon
And our hero will arrive at high noon
Cause when our hero comes
You better listen to what I say
Or you'll forfeit your life today
And now our hero comes
And now here he comes
To end all of our pain
And now that he's come
He'll clear away the stain
Cause our hero's come
And as the bullets fly
We will hear them cry
And finally the evil will die
Cause our hero came

Res Gestae
it is his belief that nearing death
and conscious of his end
feeling the lazy flow of his blood corpuscles
on his nape
the numbness running from the tip of his ring finger
to the veins of the heart, that
a man shall tell the truth finally
about his hidden love
his thoughts long buried like a lost treasure
in the secret recesses of his brain
she waits as his head rests on her lap
she has been waiting that long for him to tell the words
of love
he closed his eyes surrendering his soul to the heavens
he did not say anything at all
not even her name
despite that she shed some tears
letting him go finally where his destiny takes him
taking revenge she writes in her diary
that on that day she shed some tears of joy.

What She Said
What she said :
How come someone hasnt noticed
That Im dead
And decided to bury me ?
God knows, Im ready !
La-la-la ...
What she said was sad
But then, all the rejection shes had
To pretend to be happy
Could only be idiocy
La-la-la ...
What she said was not for the job or
Lover that she never had
Oh ...
No no no ...
What she read
All heady books
Shed sit and prophesise
(it took a tattooed boy from
Birkenhead
To really really open her eyes)
What she read
All heady books
Shed sit and prophesise
(it took a tattooed boy from
Birkenhead
To really really open her eyes)
What she said :
I smoke cos Im hoping for an
Early death
And I need to cling to something !
What she said :
I smoke cos Im hoping for an
Early death
And I need to cling to something !
No no no no ...

Coffin Car
Coffin car, shes riding a coffin car.
People watching her with tender eyes,
Friends whispering in kindly words,
Children running, waving hands,
Telling each other, how pretty she is.
Coffin car, she likes to ride a coffin car.
Friends making ways for the first time,
People throwing kisses for the first time,
Showering flowers, ringing bells,
Telling each other, how nice she is.
Coffin car, shes riding a coffin car.
Wives showing tears for the first time,
Husband taking their hats off for the first time,
Crushing their handkerchiefs, rubbing their nose,
Telling each other, how good she is.
Half the world is dead anyway,
The other half is asleep.
And life is killing her,
Telling her to join the dead.
So evry day, she likes to ride a coffin car,
A flower covered coffin car,
Pretending she was dead.

The Lingering Concerns
some books open up
and show their pages
like tongues
and you watch them
as you begin
to salivate like a
mad dog,
there is nothing new in
there
except the ears and the
words that dissolve too
in a distance
those that you like to go
back again
and grapple with
or perhaps even embrace
and shed tears again

Completely shaken
I saw her completely shaken
Mentally unstable and bodily broken
As if hell was let loose on her
Whole world was for her to bother
No doubt it was cruel joke
Her future was in complete smoke
She had absolutely no idea of cruel blow
It was painful and had come in very slow
First no one informed her about tragedy
That her friend was in grave condition and unsteady
His pulses were sinking very fast
At any moment he will be about to last
She had inkling about impeding danger
She had lot more to tell with anger
Why fate had played such game?
Why she was only picked by the name?
Soon she will be left alone?
He will be already away and gone
What will be her future without shield?
What will be she doing in those green field?
She had wore white cloth as mark of grieving
None of the stories are meant for believing?
Now she has to face rough weather and stand?
Who will take her care and understand?
Thousands of thoughts crossed her mind
She was no where near and in position to find
The fate had deceived her and acted unkind
Now future stood bleak for darkness only behind
I shall overcome all shocks
She asserted boldly while soaked
This is not the time to shed tears
All pain and agony is there to bear
Let cruel hands not reach to me
Let me brace up and again feel free
The sky has limit so I shall stand again
He is no more but his efforts will not go in vain

Devil Woman
Ive had nothing but bad luck
Since the day I saw the cat at my door
So I came into you sweet lady
Answering your mystical call
Crystal ball on the table
Showing the future,the past
Same cat with them evil eyes
And I knew itwas a spell she cast
Shes just a devil woman
With evil on her mind
Beware the devil woman
Shes gonna get you
Shes just a devil woman
With evil on her mind
Beware the devil woman
Shes gonna get you from behind
Give me the ring on your finger
Let me see the lines on your hand
I can see me a tall dark stranger
Giving you what you hadnt planned
I drank the potion she offered me
I found myself on the floor
Then I looked into those big green eyes
And I wondered what Id come there for
Shes just a devil woman
With evil on her mind
Beware the devil woman
Shes gonna get you
Shes just a devil woman
With evil on her mind
Beware the devil woman
Shes gonna get you from behind
If youre out on a moonlit night
Be careful of them neighbourhood strays
Of a lady with long black hair
Tryin to win you with her feminine ways
Crystal ball on the table
Showing the future,the past
Same cat with them evil eyes
Youd better get out of there fast
Shes just a devil woman
With evil on her mind
Beware the devil woman
Shes gonna get you
Shes just a devil woman
With evil on her mind
Beware the devil woman
Shes gonna get you...

When I First Lost My Impatience
I felt dirty and betrayed,
When I first lost my impatience.
I felt...
Used and so unclean.
I knew I had been stripped,
Of an innocence I would never have again.
To be vicious, cruel and mean...
Was all I saw and knew,
As a child growing up...
To be exposed to seeing these scenes.
People were being cussed out and talked about,
For not sharing their potato chips! Seriously.
I didn't know exactly why,
My impatience had been taken away...
In the manner it was done.
But I grew to understand there was a purpose.
And even if I shared all my chips...
I can always buy another bag. I learned!
Today I have discovered,
I have more patience than I have ever had.
And some who have come to test me...
Are surprised I am not so quick,
To give them a taste of impatience.
I have found a life I am determined to live.
One with a peace of mind...
And freed from 'identified' evil people.
Patience taught me how to observe first,
With my mouth closed and ears open to listen.

Tears Of A Woman
The tears of a woman
Which can be used to deceive
The many weak minded man
And the man who will easily believe.
As they are the mighty tools
To sway a mans heart and his mind
So she can use and control him
Anyway and of course anytime.
As the tears that she uses
Sometimes in her mind they are conceived
To get the pity that she needs and wants
And used so her lies someone will believe.
And the effect of the tears she had shed
Many men through their course had died
While she had used them once again
And all because a woman had just cried.
As the tears run down her cheeks
Even before they touch the ground
She is ready to deceive once again
GOD pitied the sad soul she has found.
Though they won't confuse other women
As they too know the tricks of that trade
They know when they are used to cover up lies
They know why those tears were created and made.
So sad for all man and all boys
When to this world they shout we have no fears
But in the shadow their might be that woman
Getting ready once again to use her tears.

Woman, You Deserve More
Woman, you deserve more than flowers.
You deserve more than vows.
You deserve more than that ring,
Woman, you deserve more than love
The beauty in your eyes
Woman you deserve more than tender touches
The beauty of your voice
Woman you deserve more than kisses
Dear you deserve more,
something unseen, someone untouchable
More than gold, more than diamonds triple fold
Trust me, you deserve more

The Pain of the Earth
DOES the earth grow grey with grief
For her hero darling fled?
Though her vales let fall no leaf,
In our hearts her tears are shed.
Still the stars laugh on above:
Not to them her grief is said;
Mourning for her hero love
In our hearts the tears are shed.
We her children mourn for him,
Mourn the elder hero dead;
In the twilight grey and dim
In our hearts the tears are shed.

Every tear you shed for the dead you love
Reminds them of the earth people who love them
And the dead are now confused
To go or not to go
To finally leave and be full-fledged souls to the other world
Every tear confuses them
And you are so cruel, you shed so many tears
Enough for the dead to be restless and crazy,
Please stop crying, let the dead go, we just buried them.

The Intruder Of A Family Affair
there are so many
who died taking with them
in their own graves
the lies of their lives,
it is unethical to judge them
the way you wanted to make them
divulge these secrets is an invasion
you destroy their territories
you burn their safe-houses
it is like stepping upon the
sand palaces of the ants
and then spraying their whole population
with pesticide
you think that you have served so well
those who are still living
look at them, they mourn and
still will mourn for the years
they feel being deceived
and tricked into a misery that they do not deserve
because you have taken hold of the truth of the dead
and revealed them to the grieving
(it is none of your business, intruder!
you deserve a thousand deaths!)

What Have I Done To Deserve This?
(lowe/willis/tennant)
------------------------------------
You always wanted a lover
I only wanted a job
Ive always worked for my living
How am I gonna get through?
How am I gonna get through?
I come here looking for money
(got to have it)
And end up living with love, oh, oh
Now you left me with nothing
(cant take it)
How am I gonna get through?
How am I gonna get through?
I bought you drinks, I brought you flowers
I read you books and talked for hours
Every day, so many drinks
Such pretty flowers, so tell me
What have i, what have i, what have I done to deserve this?
What have i, what have i, what have I done to deserve this?
What have i, what have i, what have I ...
Since you went away Ive been hanging around
Ive been wondering why Im feeling down
You went away, it should make me feel better
But I dont know, oh
How Im gonna get through?
What have i, what have i, what have I done to deserve this?
How Im gonna get through?
What have i, what have i, what have I done to deserve this?
You always wanted me to be something I wasnt
You always wanted too much, oh, oh
Now I can do what I want to - forever
How am I gonna get through?
How am I gonna get through?
At night, the people come and go
They talk too fast, and walk too slow
Chasing time from hour to hour
I pour the drinks and crush the flowers
What have i, what have I done to deserve this?
What have i, what have i, what have I done to deserve this?
What have i, what have i, what have I ...
Since you went away Ive been hanging around
Ive been wondering why Im feeling down
You went away, it should make me feel better
But I dont know, oh
How Im gonna get through? (baby)
What have i, what have i, what have I done to deserve this?
How Im gonna get through? (baby)
What have i, what have i, what have I done to deserve this?
How Im gonna get through? (baby)
What have i, what have i, what have I done to deserve this?
How Im gonna get through? (tell me)
What have i, what have i, what have I done to deserve this?
How Im gonna get through? (baby)
What have i, what have i, what have I done to deserve this?
How Im gonna get through? (yeah)
What have i, what have i, what have I done to deserve this?
Gonna get through?
Gonna get through?
What have i, what have i, what have I done to deserve this?
Im gonna get through, right?
What have i, what have i, what have I done to deserve this?
We dont have to fall apart, we dont have to fight
What have i, what have i, what have I done to deserve this?
We dont need to go to hell and back every night
What have i, what have i, what have I done to deserve this?
You never ever left me, baby, think of me...
What have i, what have i, what have I done to deserve this?
Oh, babe
What have i, what have i, what have I done to deserve this?
We dont have to fall apart, we dont have to fight
What have i, what have i, what have I done to deserve this?
We dont need to go to hell and back every night
What have i, what have i, what have I done to deserve this?
Gonna get through, baby, Im gonna get
What have i, what have i, what have I done to deserve this?
Forever
What have i, what have i, what have I done to deserve this?
Gonna get through, baby, yeah,
What have i, what have i, what have I done to deserve this?
Gonna get through, get through, baby, ooh
What have i, what have i, what have I done to deserve this?

Never Mourn At My Funeral
Never mourn at my funeral
Because i'm not dead but sleeping
And relaxing on Abraham's bossom
Never mourn at my funeral
You that come in view to mourning
But within you, you're here to mock
Because my poetry has once expose your secret-deeds
Throw my body where you please
Or let it be dismembered
Never mourn at my funeral
You the insect that bites my daffodils
And you who want my fish to swim on a dry earth
Throw me on a stormy sea
Where Jonah fell
But its a glorious shame
I can never sight the river bank of Joppa
Never mourn at my funeral
You that come in my maker's name
Just to bless my end
Go thy way and search for lust souls
Wear them a garment pure as snow
Before they lie low with me
And journey hell eternal
Never mourn at my funeral
But mourn for we're debtors of death

Remembering Mother
my mother was cool
like halo-halo
she was too private
and exclusive
to me. The rest about us
was always kept
as a secret.
When she died
she left me the sweetest
smile. The rest of my siblings
cried. Their faces broken.
They want to curse
and think that life is unfair
that God did not hear
their prayers.
I kept tradition. I wore my
tinted sunglasses
i shed no tears at all.
She told me God is fair.
She took pride of her love
for me. Always for me.
When her coffin was finally
laid, I smiled.
She found rest and
She is happy that I am
the only one
Who understood her.
My happy mother
I remember.

We mourn the death of the forest universal
The town outside my window moans.
We mourn not for the death of Industry
Nor for the ghost of the English gentle men
We lament for the stars that have been hidden from gazers.
We lament for dead rats trapped electronic cages.
Have we learnt nothing through the ages?
We mourn the death of the forest universal
We mourn the death of culture as media vultures
Prey upon the minds of the young.
Outside the rain takes its toll upon the pavement
Washing away the reminents of Autumns presence.
He awaits in hibernatuin, a soul ready for consideration.
I dreamt last night of a gleaming crown, An Angel
Came forth to say. ‘Embrace the child don’t shoot her down,
Make love throughout the day.

Reconciliation
WORD over all, beautiful as the sky!
Beautiful that war, and all its deeds of carnage, must in time be
utterly lost;
That the hands of the sisters Death and Night, incessantly softly
wash again, and ever again, this soil'd world:
... For my enemy is dead--a man divine as myself is dead;
I look where he lies, white-faced and still, in the coffin--I draw
near;
I bend down, and touch lightly with my lips the white face in the
coffin.
