Fences And Fidelities
marriages were made
to be broken, that seems to be the rule now
women have long demanded
fidelity
not 1% of unfaithfulness is considered
as an excuse
now, i travel alone, watching the long roads
approach me like a movie
houses in the cities forestalled by
tall buildings
inferior to the heights of modernization
seemingly the old houses are gone
now like marriages
except those in the suburbs
where old house still persists
with their fences
like fidelity, i guess it must be fenced
to keep it away from
infection, love a green grass
marriage still like an old lifestyle
where the wife picks the flowers
while the husband still plays
with his favorite dog
and his kids.

Preserve Family
Man will put his trust in woman
For an exchange of fidelity.
Breach of fidelity amounts
To the forfeiting the trust of his
Restraints of sexual impulses
Are the outcome of fidelity.
Restraints of evil tendencies
Are the result of trustworthiness.
Trust is wider than fidelity.
A part of the trust is fidelity.
In spite of infidelity,
Trustworthiness can be still there.
Marriage is built on mutual trust.
Fail marks in one of the subjects
Should not warrant total dismissal.
Be that field improved or overlooked.
A man tends to flirt with other women
And still stands by his own woman.
A woman who responds to men’s lure
Can still be loyal to her husband.
Man’s disloyalty doesn’t hurt
Woman as much as woman’s does.
It is more from his possessiveness.
It is more from his assertiveness.
Love and trust travel beyond sex.
Wife’s status is husband’s status.
Child’s status id parents status.
Identity will take care of trust.

The Reason For Divorce
The reason for divorce you've guessed right marriage without marriage there would not be divorce
With birds and animals things are so much different they make love and leave Nature take it's course
They do not have acrimonious breakups when their relationships end they merely go their way
Though some species are known to be faithful and until one die together they do stay.
Some claim to know that us humans are polygamous if this be so the truth we ought to face
That we live an un-natural existence that marriage between man and woman never should take place
We'll look at sheep since sheep are polygamous the ram and ewe they make love for a day
Tomorrow he has another to make love to sheep do live true to Nature one might say.
What God has put together let no man pull asunder whoever first said that told a big lie
For ninety per cent of marriages as we know are long over before the husband or the wife does die
Of undying love you won't find many cases and this thing called love is an over-rated thing
Though the romance writers make their fortunes from it and of love the pop singer paid to sing.
The reason for divorce you've guessed right marriage though of undying love romantics love to read
But facts don't lie and the facts always tell us that more often than not marriage to divorce lead
Married till death do you part coined by some religious zealot any untruer words perhaps have not been said
And though a few marriages known to last the distance before old age most marriages long dead.

Marriages are semi-happy.
Maybe marriages are made in heaven
But it's on the earth that it is tested.
Marriages, arranged or led by courtships,
Is bound to be semy happy marriages.
What semi happy marriage means is that
It has happiness as a family
And lacks pulls at the sight of each other
Between the husband and the wife in life.
Lovers are passion orientated.
Couples are partner orientated.
Husbands and wives are mere faithful friends.
Ownerships and identity bind them.
They sublimate their sexual energy
In the family chores and children upkeep.
With their romance and passion forgotten.
Half happy and half sore they lead their life.
Every marriage is a semi happy one
And even then marriages are welcome
By the society as it is the nest
Well fit for the children to grow in.

Meaning Of Fidelity
Fidelity is filled with eagerness and passion,
Fidelity is deeper than any emotion,
Fidelity is full of trust and compassion,
And is filled with a keen devotion.
Fidelity is filled with eagerness and passion,
Fidelity is a state of faithfulness from the heart,
Fidelity is an adherence to a special cause
And its' sworn vows will never part.
Fidelity is filled with eagerness and passion,
Fidelity is an allegiance bound to stand,
Fidelity is part of a Nation's domain,
And is steadfast throughout the land.
Fidelity is filled with eagerness and passion,
Fidelity is full of piety and ultimate care,
Fidelity is filled with an intense sense of duty,
And is like soothing music in the air.

Old Fashioned
call me old fashioned
i will not mind, i still cling to marriage
despite the odds.
i am not an angel
but i always know how to ask
forgiveness.
my wife is hardheaded
taking me in again
with all arms embracing
this prodigal husband
this philanderer
with nothing to give but love
reborn
and promises relived
life is hard
fidelity is a long lost virtue
but marriage must remain
as the cornerstone
of life
inside the house still
lies the real home

A Brief Note On Marriage!
Flute music is coming when I am writing this poem;
The sweet music is being rendered by a flute vendor!
Flute music reminds all of the hero of Bhagavad-Gita
Who proposed the policy of nonattachment in life!
Marriages are fixed in heaven many say since long time
But why are some going for divorces after the marriage?
Love or arranged marriages should be based on love;
But too much attachment finding faults ends in divorces!
Nothing is perfect in the world let alone love and marriage;
What is more important is love to be cherished as humans
So that relations would last longer making happier life here;
Critically seeing differences one cannot find peace of mind.
Bond of marriages is supposed to last till the end of life
But not to suffer by marriages till the end of life in the world!

Trendy
most of my friends who went to Chicago
on care giving jobs
finally left for good the marriage
they had in the Philippines,
just this morning i had a chat with a
close friend whose husband had her
declared presumptively dead in court
so he can marry another,
she says it's a trend
marriages are bound to be broken
vows have no meaning
she did not mind at all if she is
'dead' to him and to the law,
she too has a man of her own now
a work to attend to,
another summer vacation in California
and in Paris sometime
this April,
and then she enumerates other names
who marriages are
dissolved,
it is not that time is cruel, it is just that
with money now,
they are free to find love
(and lust) .
so long, i may meet other names.

Old Sadie At The Corner
Old Sadie at the corner feels bitterness towards men
She has been through four marriages her last husband was Ben
Her first husband was Andy followed by Jim and Joe
And she has not had an affair since Ben left years ago.
She never more will marry she says enough no more
I would not try for a fifth time I've had enough in four
To each of them she bore children she raised six kids in all
But of the men in her life few good memories to recall.
She says they all abused her but those who know her better say
That Sadie's not an angel and no small part she did play
In the break up of her marriages all of her ex husbands would agree
That Sadie is not the victim she makes herself out to be.
She never more will marry she was four times a wife
And now she feels contented for to lead a single life
And old Sadie she is destined to end her days on her own
For not even one man shows interest in her if the truth be known.

The virtue is supreme.
Elegance is nice,
But inferior to kindness.
Composure is sweet,
But inferior to compassion.
Charity is great,
But inferior to justice.
Honesty is fine,
But inferior to fidelity.
Intelligence is strength
But inferior to wisdom
Every good trait
Is inferior to virtue,
Which must be the axis,
Around which one runs.

Mistake of Fact!
Crow! Crow!
Male crow! Female crow!
Love each other,
Wife and husband;
Wife crow lays eggs,
All are white!
Husband crow suspects
Loyalty and fidelity;
Ignorant husband,
Innocent wife,
Wife crow shows
other nests;
Trust assured
Sorry sorry,
Mistake of Fact, Forget it,
We love for ever!

In The Beginning
In the beginning was the WORD,
And the WORD was with YAWEH ALMIGHTY;
The power of Yahweh created the Universe with,
The Light to shine upon the Universe;
'Let there be Light' and, there was Light.
Then HE created man out of the soil of the ground,
A living man who needed a suitable companion;
Out of man came woman as the companion.
Oh mankind! You were made from the soil and,
You will return to it one day;
Yahweh joined then together as Husband and Wife.
Creation has a very long way but,
Time after time we do go against the laid down rules.
The essence of Marriage is lost today and,
Where are the ethics of the Creator?
We cannot even see to our mistakes.
To err is human but, to know is better;
Where is the integrity of our marriages?
Where is the beauty of the Creator's rule?
We have lost the true meaning of marriage.
'Let there be Light'! But, our lights no longer shine.
HE created man out of the soil and,
Woman out of man;
But, we have used the man-made laws to change the rules.

Other woman
‘Other woman’ is an ego booster
And a sexual stimulant to man,
Though an enigma to woman, his wife.
It is past that marriage is eternal;
It is past that woman is house bound.
Both are employed; both have exposure.
The time spent by colleagues across sex
Is longer than the time spent by couples.
Proximity brings about intimacy
And intimacy leads to sexual love.
Other woman need not be a better lot.
That she is untried and hard to attain
Is itself her potent charm to tempt man.
Her presence acts like an aphrodisiac
And her nearness makes man alcoholic.
Marriage can give him a blanket of warmth
But can not keep him off from yearning.
Other woman fills the void existing
Or dig one and fill it with herself.
Other woman enjoys her quota too.
The marriages old and staid are shaken;
The marriages loosely held are broken.
Nay, ideal couples too bite their dust.
Staying separate is a catalyst.
Emotional infidelity sets,
To be followed or not by adultery.
Potent man each draws his ‘other woman’.
Who is no one but some one’s fertile wife.
‘Other woman’ is not a certain woman
But a woman of a certain period.
‘Other man’ and ‘other woman’ are drawn
To form a perfect pair by heart and soul.
They both enjoy their companionship.
She takes care of her looks and he, of his,
Which throw benefits to their spouses too.
Hormones in spate, they find purpose in life.
Husbands, by and large, have other women.
Wives shed their qualm to play other woman.
Male promiscuity is manliness;
Female titillation is womanliness.

And pine for what is not’ - Shelly

to my sister in L.A.
and so you have learned
how to take the train
and be silent along the way
seeing the trees
and green patches of grass
and buildings and houses
rushing to meet you
through the glass windows
for how long shall you grieve
and heal that bleeding heart
for how long shall you go away
from the clutches
of pain
inflicted by a loved one
time simply waits
out there
far from us in that foreign land
you shall find your
balms
take care my dear sister
do not let your heart be weakened
let it be strong and kind

New Generation Marriage Vows Are Gone
New generation marriage vows are gone (11/2/11)
This is the first day of your new life
This is the day you chose to be his wife.
You both feel that your love is strong enough
That a marriage you could share
And for each other you would always be there.
A marriage are vows that are made to each other
That you will always “ love one another”.
You say you will love each other until death do you part
Is it what you feel? Is it really in your heart?
The vows of marriage has changed drastically
Marriage is not - what it used to be.
Fear of the unknown has changed the way you think
Six out of ten marriages are now on the brink.
Living common law is now the new rage
They don’t want to feel like they’re
Locked up in a cage.
It’s easy to walk away from a relationship
If there are no vows.
And if there’s any children, they’ll survive somehow.
We don’t need a marriage certificate to
Have a sexual affair.
We can change partners, and different beds we can share.
This is the thinking of the youth of today
All our teachings and values have all gone astray.

My Fidelity
Is it something ritual
Im caught in, cant break the spell?
Is it moving in my body
Is it biological?
I gotta hand it to you
Youve got one heart ten times divided.
Did you cut yourself in pieces
To get them all inside?
You dream about her, cant you see?
Shes only shining bright
cause shes so out of reach.
You dream about the seven seas
While Im staying home each night,
Making love to my fidelity.
Im rocking in my bed
I cant talk cant think cant sleep.
And nothings jumping fences,
I only count what I cannot keep.
I lick my wounds,
I chase my instinct, like a cat.
I dont know how I got so good
Or why my hearts a trap.
You dream about her, cant you see?
Shes only shining bright
cause shes so out of reach.
You dream about the seven seas
While Im staying home each night,
Making love to my fidelity.
Why I love you, why I love you
Why I love you I dont know,
Why I love you, why I love you, why.
Taking sides with my enemy
Making love to my fidelity.
You dream about her, cant you see?
Shes only shining bright
cause shes so out of reach.
You dream about the seven seas
While Im staying home each night,
Making love to my fidelity.
Im landlocked, stuck in here,
I dont want to take my freedom.
I cant change what makes me high
And I cant change what I believe in.
Im not pleasing no guru,
Im not out to look for jesus.
Im not afraid to break the rules
Its just, one love keeps me breathing.
You dream about her, cant you see?
Shes only shining bright
cause shes so out of reach.
You dream about the seven seas
While Im staying home each night,
Making love to my fidelity.
Why I love you, why I love you
Why I love you I dont know,
Why I love you, why I love you, why.
Taking sides with my enemy
Making love to my fidelity

Valgovind's Song In The Spring
The Temple bells are ringing,
The young green corn is springing,
And the marriage month is drawing very near.
I lie hidden in the grass,
And I count the moments pass,
For the month of marriages is drawing near.
Soon, ah, soon, the women spread
The appointed bridal bed
With hibiscus buds and crimson marriage flowers,
Where, when all the songs are done,
And the dear dark night begun,
I shall hold her in my happy arms for hours.
She is young and very sweet,
From the silver on her feet
To the silver and the flowers in her hair,
And her beauty makes me swoon,
As the Moghra trees at noon
Intoxicate the hot and quivering air.
Ah, I would the hours were fleet
As her silver circled feet,
I am weary of the daytime and the night;
I am weary unto death,
Oh my rose with jasmin breath,
With this longing for your beauty and your light.

Marriage. Why do we do it Everybody knows the stats. One in two marriages end up in broken dishes and a trip to Tijuana. Is it loneliness Partly. Is it teamwork Definitely. Things just kind of go easier when there's two of you. One of you can wait in line at the movie theater while the other guy parks the car. Get better seats that way. Better room rate when it's a double. Are you ready to file jointly...Above you is the sun and sky. Below you, the ground. Like the sun, your love should be constant, like the ground, solid.

Fidelity cements
Two hands in fight
Will not break away
If of the same torso.
Two women in fight
Will not split away
If of mother and daughter.
Husband and wife in fight
Will not part company
If hung by fidelity.
