Escape
you are in prison and you know it
there are no bars
but you simply feel the closing in of space
around you and you sense the choking
and tightening
of your body with so much pressure
against the walls
of your imagination
the concrete beams
and ceiling moving
towards the floor
and you are at the middle
of all these things
you want to escape
and you assume the shape of a very small bird
growing wings on your sides
like the new born leaves
of a seed
without still the claws and beak and tongue
you fly away
unhesitantly without so much waste
of time
& words
except the note
of a very sad song
left on the barren floor
for someone
you no longer love

Love is you (2x)
[Maxi Jazz]
My TV barks at me, from the corner
Life on the street is like a sauna, it's too hot.
Put bars around what you've got,
And the whole city lucky that we ain't been shot.
We got full blown decent into argument
Here we go.
Times to overthrow the parliament, so
In these struggled times
I wanna know, do you
Make a stand or just follow the flow
Even though, you know y' leaders are fullup of ego
Do we go where the others go and lay low
Only moving on someone elses say so
I say no!
What's in my heart is unexplainable
I ain't a fool
And happiness is attainable
And even on the days when rain will fall
I still plan to love and I always will
It's a calling from when I rise in the morning
This is a love we were born in
Ya tap it and it just keep coming and coming and coming
[LSK]
Love is you, love is us, love is ...
[Maxi Jazz]
Hmm. It's a powerful thing that can make a man sing
And bring people together with strength of feeling
Now, be connected from the floor to ceiling
Ecuador to Beijing become all the same thing
Like a movement, love too strong to deny
Born to fly but we stay grounded and I don't know why
We have a powerful tool, no need to cry
With it you separate the truth from a lie
The point I wanna make,
Is you could never escape from your fate,
The mistake is to take without giving.
So, break the tradition.
Make a decision, cause no matter how hard you try
You're still in prison,
If ya born with wings and you never fly
Listen, you don't stop,
Especially when the going gets rough.
That's when it's real
And I love that stuff,
[LSK]
Love is you, love is me, love is us, love is free
Zip up your front all ya want
But there's a heart in every seed
Love is you, love is me, love is us, love is free
Zip up your front all ya want
But there's a heart in every seed
[Maxi Jaz]
And I love that stuff (2x)

Imagine Freedom
the mind is always
our own
prison, we must
free ourselves
from the bars of all
these thoughts,
imagine that you are a dove
your wings
like the eagle's
your claws like the
tiger's
imagine, yes that is the key
to freedom
imagine that
imagination is a dove with wings and claws and
swift and
lost in the vastness
of space
like a grain of sand
in the
widest ocean

Love and Rapture!
What can a prisoner say about his bars?
When, he can't extrapolate an escape.
Ah, I love you— but farewell—hurrah!
O let other I's within, permit my leave'.
Though in heart, I'll stay an outside visitor.
Question: What is a key without a lock?
A jail without; walls in small-diameter?
Who turns the key to an open-shut door?
A door hinged without walls ceiling or floor.
Life then asks what dream-makers are for
'Death answers love and rapture! '
And all that is and is not for Nevermore…

One Mans Ceiling Is Another Mans Floor
Words & music by paul simon
Theres been some hard feelings here
About some words that were said
Been some hard feelings here
And what is more
Theres been a bloody purple nose
And some bloody purple clothes
That were messing up the lobby floor
Its just apartment house rules
So all you partment fools
Remember: one mans ceiling is another mans floor!
One mans ceiling is another mans floor
Theres been some strange goins on
And some folks have come and gone
Like the elevator man dont work no more
I heard a racket in the hall
And I thought I heard a call
But I never opened up my door
Its just apartment house sense
Its like apartment rents
Remember: one mans ceiling is another mans floor!
One mans ceiling is another mans floor!
Theres an alley
In the back of my building
Where some people congregate in shame
I was walking with my dog
And the night was black with smog
When I thought I heard somebody
Call my name
Ah-- remember: one mans ceiling is another mans floor!
One mans ceiling is another mans floor!

Growing Up
Folded in your fleshy purse
I am floating once again
While the muted sounds are pumping rhythm
All the walls close in on me
Pressures building wave on wave
til the water breaks and outside I go, oh
One dot, thats on or off, defines what is and what is not, one dot
Two dot, a pair of eyes, a voice, a touch, complete surprise, two dot
Growing up, growing up,
Looking for a place to live
Growing up, growing up
Looking for a place to live
Growing up, growing up,
Looking for a place to live
My ghost likes to travel so far in the unknown
My ghost likes to travel so deep into your space
Three dot, a trinity, a way to map the universe,
Three dot
Four dot, is what will make a square, a bed to build on, its all there,
Four dot
My ghost likes to travel so far in the unknown
My ghost likes to travel so deep into your space
All the slow clouds pass us by
Make the empire state look high
As you take me in your sea-stained sweetness
It spills, it tingles and it stings
All the pleasure that it brings
til the door has let the outside inside here
Well on the floor theres a long wooden table
On the table theres an open book
On the page theres a detailed drawing
And on the drawing is the name I took
My ghost likes to travel so far in the unknown
My ghost likes to travel so deep into your space
Growing up, growing up,
Looking for a place to live
Growing up, growing up
Looking for a place to live
Growing up, growing up,
Looking for a place to live
Growing up, growing up,
Looking for a place to live
My ghost likes to travel
My ghost likes to travel
Moving inside of your space
My ghost likes to travel
My ghost likes to travel
Moving inside of your space
My ghost likes to travel
Moving inside
My ghost likes to travel
Moving inside of your space
My ghost likes to travel
Moving inside
My ghost likes to travel
Moving inside of your space
The breathing stops, I dont know when
In transition once again
Such a struggle getting through these changes
And it all seems so absurd
To be flying like a bird
When I do not feel Ive really landed here

A House Without Stairs
do not say
that without the stairs
the house is not a house anymore
without the ceiling
the more the house becomes to me
take the roof
if you want
or the beams
or even the floor and window frames
my house will still be a house
the sky its roof
the stretching grassy plain its floor
all the stars become
my magnificent ceiling
whatever is taken
we must imagine that all things are still there
lest we only have a house
that crashes on the floor
with all of us
dead
crushed to the death of
our imaginations
a door without an exit
because you have not seen hope coming
the lock and key
are all in the mind and heart

A Beautiful Bird That Cannot Escape From The Cage
there is a beautiful bird caged in my house
its flumes are red
its beak of course is black
its claws neat and clean
and cannot scratch
its eyes blank
its feathers dull
(perhaps she is bored to death
but she is still that beautiful bird caged in the heart
of my house)
when she sings
usually in the night before everyone sleeps
everyone hears
what sadness lies in the heart of its
throat
i know that it wants to escape from the cage in the heart of the house
but someone more cruel
wants it caged
forever
there is a beautiful red bird caged in my heart
i want it set free
she understands it well
she wants to be free
i know it too well
but things will just be what it is
there is nothing we can do
she is the beautiful red feathered bird caged
and shall never be free
like the stairs, like the walls, like the beams like the stars
shall this red bird be.

Prison bars
What can a prisoner say?
To bars he cannot escape.
I love you; but farewell,
I love you; but permit me, some leave!
Within his heart, yet, remains a serpent.
An unwelcome visitor sounds a hiss…
But unlike a stray-dog, he'll not bark nor
Snake through the undergrowth an adder?
So then Lord what is a key without a lock?
Or a jail without four walls…
Who turns the key to a door, without-walls?
To a door that's got no hinge.
No ceiling or heavenly vault
No floor or a cellar-basement.

A Picture Of A Bound Man
one time
by chance i see a man bound
with ropes
all over his body
that even his toes and
fingers cannot move
i recall the feeling once
when i let time bound me
when i let time pass by me
and i have done nothing
to change
who i am
and what i am supposed to be
when my being
is simply left to the winds
and the seasons
to the blackness of the night
and to the bleakness of my days
when i just lay on the floor
crying
when i just let the door close upon
its face
when the windows are useless
without its hands
when the floor has no mouth to make the
sound at all that
even the termites shy away
when i feel the nearness of death
hushing upon my ears
when i simply close my eyes
and let things
hop and hover upon
my being
when i have forgotten
even to say
to hell with
life....

What Must You Do?
oh, those little things
like the brown grasses of summer,
a flower that blooms in the middle of those rocks
the worm that crawls its way slowly to the humid part
the black bird that stays alone on a branch
the tree that keeps on shedding off its leaves
the dry wind, the post in the middle of the rice field
a banana leaf torn on its sides
a concrete fence surrounding the university
these and those that people do not mind
are mine to write about
we make out our links to all these
we make our own definitions of the self
with what we also mean to them
the black bird staring, the concrete fence of indifference.

Love Gone
Maybe you think that I dont love you, and this is of my own gain of deserving.
Actions sit loudly upon your face.Broken is my heart upon the floor,
and blurt out from my tongue, are words that should of never have been said.
I see too far, too late upon your eyes, love no longer felt.
My heart in my hand, faling to the floor. I sit here darkened is the night.
Black are my tears, my heart upon the floor.

Nicklin’s Torment
I woke up in a cold sweat
and turned on the light.
A shadow was moving over me,
cast by a spider of the night.
By the time I’d blinked
it’d vanished from view,
but then I saw a larger one,
followed by another two.
I closed my eyes for a moment
hoping they would disappear.
When I slowly reopened them
the bedroom was spider clear.
With my hand I mopped my brow
and then saw several more,
they were crawling on the ceiling
and marching across the floor.
I told myself that I was dreaming
or suffering from withdrawal,
but that didn’t stop the spiders
from crawling up the wall.
Sweat dripping from my brow
was stinging in my eyes.
Spiders were now on my bed
at my feet and on my thighs.
The whole room was full of spiders,
on the ceiling, walls, and floor.
My bed was covered and so was I.
I screamed stop! But out came even more.
Spiders crawling on top of spiders,
in my mouth, nose and ears,
their scary eyes staring into mine,
I was choking with utter fear.
I tried in vain to fight them off,
but my hand didn’t move a one.
I must have blacked out just then,
when I awoke they had all gone.
Things are becoming better now
and the spiders are getting less.
I’m told they’ll eventually go for good,
along with my shakes, thirst, and mess.

Now I Decide To Fly Away From The Home Of The Pigs
everything has been concealed
for years
i have lived with the pigs
in the mud
and ate the left-over foods
of our masters
but then today
i feel the feathers growing on my side
i have strong wings
my claws are pushing in my feet
no longer hoofs
and hair
the wind from the sea
breaks the truth it brings
on my beak is the break
once upon a time a seagull lost an egg in the pigsty
unaccounted
i was that egg
i am a seagul now
to the full
of my potentials
goodbye brother pigs now i must fly away to the farther seas
to the higher skies
my destiny

In the same space (Concrete poetry) ^^^^^^^^
(These two poems are conceived for making one poem, belonging to concrete poetry.
The shape is ''two-in-one''.It's my version.)
Nothing ever happens.......................in the city.
A man is beaten and robbed..............on the street
But passers go further........................nothing had happened
And marathon runners are silent........beside parking cars,
So hard on themselves, .....................in a race against time.
Close-circuit cameras.........................in subway stations
Show the same video........................on the screens.
The walls are closing in......................painted in the same colors.
The air smells......................................of fear, anxiety, and simplicity.
The willow trees grows.......................until they are looking so green
Nothing happens for a long time........until it is all too late..
Nothing ever happens.........................if we don't make it happen.
But it happened that
We felt in love each other....................in the same space
And our love is growing.......................every day,
Our unconditional love
Making us a whole.............................. for true happiness,
In a profound
Sense of fulfillment...............................and reason to live.

Outta Space
Every day it's all the same no matter how I turn or twist my brain
I toss my body and scratch my f*ckin' mind
I bend and duck but I bounce 'gainst things all time
I'm left in this box I'm firmly and all stuck
I'm neatly tied and shelved I'm choked contained withheld
Outta space I'm growing outta space
I think I'm goin' crazy
Outta space I'm growing outta space
It's driving me crazy
Outta space I'm growing outta space
I think I'm goin' crazy
Outta space I'm growing outta space
I think I'm goin' out of my mind
I open my eyes wide to see some light
I take a breath and feel my box too tight
No matter how I press and push all day
That f*ckin' lid of mine won't give away
I'm left in this box...
Outta space...

Act Like You Know
Uh
Big Will and Tra-Knox
Yo yo yo yo jump
When I tell you make your way up to the front
Addicted to the way I kick it I know what you want
The don jiggy catering to what your feeling
Pack it to the floor up to the ceiling
Shake
What ya momma gave you baby don't let nothin' break
Yo watch cause we don't care how much time it's gonna take
Dance floor packed and it's lookin' like a lake
It's obduction here's your instructions
Slide
Get up off that wall girl stop tryin' to hide
Trackin' afrodesiac won't be denied
Chill with that cigarette take it outside
Messin' with my vibe
I don't like that
Bounce
I'm a press your player when it counts
Party like a lamb and a wolf about to pounce
The don jiggy catering to what you're feeling
Pack it to the floor up to the ceiling
Bring it on the nothing
Ain't no time for fun things (come on)
Just let it flow (jump on)
Act like you know
The only floor is jumpin'
Ooh these girls are somethin' (come on)
Just let it flow (jump on)
Act like you know

Closing In 2. 0
I cant see ever feeling right again
Im on a raft in a river thats roaring away with me
What good does it do me to have what I want
When Im in no shape to enjoy what I have
Boiling
Im burning
Im losing my hold
On the life that I had
Running
Im hiding
Im telling myself
That these things arent so bad
I can see theres just no way out of this (one)
I can feel the walls closing in on me
The door at the end of the tunnel is far too small
And theres 24 metric tons of fear closing in on me
