Emily asks me write a poem about women
It must be about women
How they are strong
And selfless
And self-giving
Self sufficient
Free
Principled
She is that woman
She must write that herself
She can always do it.
To me strong women
Are not written
They are not for writing
They are made
Self-made in fact
They do not ask me to write about them

Woman Thou art Free
To be a woman there are certain characteristics that you embody
That set you apart, ain't nothing like a strong woman with a good heart.
Some say they curse the day God made woman, but only God understand that he created it
for us to see the good and the bad, life for some without a woman is really sad.
The woman was made to feel the pain and the man to work the land.
But in everything God had a plan.
Women have come a long way from the kitchen to the runway.
Women have broken down all barriers,
and have proven to be able to compete at all levels, so much that it marvels.
Women's long battle for equality and right have gotten them to unite.
Their strength and unity have given them the courage to embrace every opportunity
under the social and economical horizon;
they are now prospering over the men in the dozens.
They now take full advantage for all the times they've been denied passage.
Women have become leaders, more than conquerors,
strong educators, powerful motivators and labourers.
Yet women have not forgotten their role in the home, though some are not full-time.
A little independence is not a crime. But still they are able to make the house a home,
put food on the table, keep their lives stable
for at the end of the day, at home is where their hearts will always stay
so we thank God for Women's Day.

Women
Women behind bars, women in fast cars, women in distress, women with no dress
Women in airplanes, women who play games
Women in uniform, see that woman with her clothes gone
Women who satisfy, women you cant buy
Like women in magazines, and women in a limousine
Women who sip champagne, women who feel no pain
Women in a disco, and women who dont wanna know, no no
Oh, women wanting sympathy, women feeling extacy
Women who live in fantasies, bringing man to his knees
Women who boil to love, women who need a shove
Women who cant be beat, get that woman in the back seat, yeah yeah
Women in the usa, those women steal your heart away
Women into rock n roll, women who steal the show, go go go
Women that you write songs about, women that turn around and kick you out
Women you dream about all your life
Women that stab you in the back with a switchblade knife
Oh women, oohoo, talking bout women, all round the world
Yeah women, all the naughty girls, talking bout women, come on baby

what I see...
when i look in the mirror
what do i see?
see a young women trying to find the right path
a young women trying to do whats best for us
the daughter that was never planned but yet brought so much happiness.
u can tell the girl standing in front of the mirror has been through so much
so much it made her the person who she is today...
a strong hearted women who can get through anything if she put her all into it.
but behind that strong women, is a women who isn't as strong as she thought.
a women who quits when things get ruff,
a women who is afraid of change,
afraid of doing the wrong things
afraid of losing the ones that mean the most
when i look into the mirror,
what do i see?
see a young women who is willing to do whats right.
willing to take that next step
willing to start the future over and have a new begining.
see a young women
who is finally letting the past not get the best of her
and moving forward.

Woman Kind
The woman kind,
Mysteries of the female mind,
I'm just a guy,
Simple and strong,
But always wrong,
When we fuss and fight,
Step into the light,
And you'll see I'm right,
write I will,
Until,
My point is made,
Paid,
In full,
My debt to women.

The culture demands writers?
What for do you write?
For an applause.
What from do you write?
From borrowings.
Why should you write?
To get pleasure in catharsis.
Why do you chose writing>
Most suited to an idler.
Do you write to cure the society?
No.
Do you write to save the society?
No.
Then, why?
Writings to people
Are cosmetics to women.
The culture demands them

When I Write About Giving Up Writing
WHEN I WRITE ABOUT GIVING UP WRITING
When I write about giving up writing,
I am not giving it up
I am instead trying to find another justification for continuing-
I am not giving up then-
If the whole effort is futile
If in the end it will mean nothing
If I despair of it even as I continue it
Still
I will not give up.
I cannot give up.
What else do I have, after all, except the writing?
After all these years of giving my life to it
What other work could ever mean so much?
Even if I fail in it
It is who I am
And what I can do.
I am writing again now
What else can I do?

To be a writer
They say, when you have nothing to say
Do not say anything
They say when you have nothing good to say
Do not say anything
He is not convinced
He wants to be a writer and to be one he must write
What is in his mind
To be a writer he must write and write and write
Even when there is nothing to write
Even when there is nothing to say even when nobody listens
Even when the word is dead even when there is no sense at all
Even when he gets blind and deaf and mute even when his fingers are cut even when his mind is blank even when his consciousness is lost
Even when you are angry even when you say what is written is nothing
But trash, dung, cadaver, corpse, poo, pee, even when there is nothing
Anymore,
He writes because he is a writer and no one can stop him now.
he is
he is writing
he is writing always
he is writing always whatever that needs to be written
and here you are foolishly reading. thanks to you, audience of one.

Women's Intuition
My women's Intuition gives me this sneaking suspicion
that the truth is really different from this story you're presenting
My Women's Intuition says something has changed
Something's very strange and I can't decide who's to blame
My Woman's Intuition keeps me up late at night
makes me wonder if its right if its even worth the fight
My Women's Intuition tells me somethings going down
Notices you're not around Catches every whispered sound
My Woman's Intuition is driving me crazy
Has me wondering 'maybe' What's been going on lately?
My Woman's Intuition puts these bugs in my ear
'Why isn't he here? ' 'Does he still even care? '
My Woman's Intuition senses something's wrong
Has known it all along Seems to be quite strong
My Woman's Intuition continues to bring it up
Wants to know what's up Made me look it up
My Woman's Intution saw every message you sent
Followed every where you went Tracked every minute you spent
My woman's Intuition took note of where you've been
Thinks it's time for this to end Doesn't want to be your friend

Dance Between Two Women
Thank you for the flowers you brought me today
And thank you for the kindness you showed me today
No love can be stronger than between two strong women
No man can ever know the dance between two women
We can dance... my lady... may I have this dance?
Thank you for the wisdom the knowing from inside
And thank you for the comfort only a woman can provide
No man can ever know the dance between two women
Love cant be stronger than between two strong women
We can dance... my lady... may I have this dance?
Thank you for the strength without a need for power
And thank you for the rhythym, the sacred circle
Love cant be stronger than between two strong women
No man can ever know the dance between two women
Like you and i
We can dance... my lady... may I have this dance?

Many Can Teach Few Can Write
many can teach and be good teachers
some even aspiring excellent teachers
but few can image write wondrous words
who are now waiting among
those who have words worth writing
words waiting to be written?
writing will cost much
demanded much
then will cost yet more
a small fortune in wages
wages spent not made
still to be spent and yet
accumulative cost is nothing
for there are hunger hearts
minds waiting for these words
looking even searching
for quest sought words
therefore it matters not
if for a specific poem
or passage paragraph
only a few or one is searching
these thoughts
are important
still must be written
some of what we write
even much of what we write
is of no prime importance
but that small portion
which is important
that tiny potent seed
which is important
must be written
translate many can translate
some even translate
almost perfectly precise
but those writing
original thoughts
are far more precious
and their words
will also in their time
be sought after read
but there time is not yet
that which is not
written cannot
be read
therefore write
write
and write well

Tea And Scones
I didn't think women made scones
any more.
People still have tea and scones!
Home baking and scones
are memories remembered...
from the earliest childhood years...
when family was primary
and the housewife's role, was esteemed honoured.
What is wrong with being a mother first?
What is wrong with putting your children first?
What is wrong with providing, a loving caring, nurturing home?
What is wrong with giving, an abundance, of love and security?
What is wrong with putting husband, children and home first,
so that family life and family, will be strong and thrive?
A woman of determination and ability will still work.
A woman of determination and ability will still triumph.
She will still achieve, a productive rewarding, successful career.
She may still rise, to the top, dominate any profession her abilities;
dedication, education, personality, management skills; training allow.
Few men, will achieve any better, most will achieve far less.
A man, a true partner, can will, also be a house husband.
A man, can will, also sacrifice, for the career of his partner.
Society, including women, still predominantly, frown on this?
I didn't think women made scones
any more.
People still have tea and scones!
I thought the feminist's philosophy
had driven most women...
forever out of the kitchen and sadly
a few into emulating the worst...
kind of ruthless; misguided
male clone type; exploiting women...
or into brand lesbianism,
forever espousing, rights of women...
forgetting love for fathers
forgetting love for brothers sons...
forgetting a strong family equality practices
strong societies like families safeguard female liberties rights...

Are Women Weak?
Around the world women
Are considered weak
Making them invisible
In most societies
Demarcation lines at front and rear
Women stand putting themselves in gear
Working in fear
'At home is where she should be'
But her inner eyes help her to see
That she will be free
Are women weak?
Doing the work of man
'Yes! they can.
Keeping the house from a band
Working as hard as any man
Are women weak?
Expecting nothing but doing everything
Enough to make ones heart sing
A goddess in her own right
Deeply crying in the night,
But never losing sight
Are women weak?
Taking up where the man left off
Leaving her the boss...
The unheard of she does
Her voice slowly whispers
'I'll be free the woman in me'
Punish me if you most
I can rise from the dust
Are women weak?
Having a child here and there
Maybe that is not fair,
And that make no delays
Even when the man is out to play
The best thing that ever
Happen to man for man
Is a Woman right in his hand
Given props to his plans
Thinking that world is his land
Forgetting of God's touch
Who loves woman just as much
'Foolish, foolish, man'.
Are woman weak?
Women suffer because men refuse to see
Woman is just like he
Man do not understand that
They are cool just keeping woman Fat.
Not in heels but in flats
Imagine that.
Are women weak?
The fear men have makes him strong
By God he know he's wrong
Still a woman works hard and long
Are women weak?
Woman no matter where you may be
You have a friend in me.

Women I Know
Strong are the women
In my family.
Every last one...
Seem to have the strength,
To shadow some men...
As if they had none!
And f-i-n-e! Yes!
Beautiful with power.
Mothers who have raised children.
Some without their fathers.
To become themselves...
Strong and bright!
And dynamic in one's sight!
And yes...
They too,
Are f-i-n-e!
Some ask me 'why'...
I have no better half!
Why I am divorce?
And my relationships seem not to last!
I know the answer...
Of course!
Strong are the women
In my family.
Every last one...
Seem to have the strength,
To shadow some men...
As if they had none!
And the men in my family,
Are even stronger than some!
And...
Yes!
They too are f-i-n-e!
And I am left spoiled.
Wishing for one like them!
Not the men! !
But then...
These women I know and related to...
Are few in the market!
And I have stopped shopping...
For a companion to compare!
Beauty, strength and independence are rare.
And these women in my family have it all!
And even more to spare.
I would have to leave this Earth...
To discover someone not to compare,
To these women I love!
And we are related too!
This for me is so difficult.
For me to feel this...
Is so unfair!
However...
No burden is this do I bare!
But then..
To know so many women,
With qualities I like!
Cousins or aunts...
Of my blood 'everywhere'!
And joke,
I do not!
It's true.
Every woman I ever adored...
Has my last name too!
Yeeeessss!
God...
Please lift me from this curse!
hahahahaha
I can't like some I know...
Rehearse wedding after wedding,
After wedding after wedding!
Addicted to romantic delusions!
I know what I'll do!
I will move.
Build a hut in the Amazon.
Or the Congo!
And get it on...
With the monkeys!
Feeling free not to bother,
To ask for ID.

Women and Food
Women the color of cinnamon
Is the salts and stripes
They are made to preserve life.
Women the color of milk
Is the sweetest type
They are of the utmost strife.
Women the color of chocolate
Is made to devour
It is the tastiest wine
Women of any nature
Posses these qualities
Made from harmony
Made to harmonize
As one alone
Are more beautiful
Then the flour
Used in a bakery
Used to make
The finest pastry
The delicate art
In of it self
That is
Women and foods

Girls vs. Women
Girls are insecure; Women are confident.
Girls dress trashy; Women dress classy.
Girls are students; Women are teachers.
Girls are listeners; Women are preachers.
Girls makes babies; Women raise babies.
Girls have sex; Women make love.
Girls are weak; Women are strong.
Girls fight; Women walk away.
Girls argue; Women speak.
Girls give in; Women compromise.
Girls envy. Women appreciate.
Girls give up. Women strive.
Girls look. Women see.
Girls take. Women give.
Girls follow; Women influence.
