Boracay Fantasy....
this summer when we are together
in boracay
near as tongue to a cone of strawberry ice cream
licking,
i get so close to you that i can feel the 'tanness'
of your tan
tasting like chocolate without sugar
a little bit bitter but
enduring
after the sun has passed its joys upon you
brown smooth skin
broad spacious nape and black flowing hair
surfing upon a pair of mountain breasts
with trees as nipples
scented with
southern sea breeze and smelling like fried dried fish beside steam white pearly rice
early morning
with barako coffee and cream and freshly scrambled mayonnaise egg
on a sky blue saucer.
how i wish for a premature evening
beds softer than sand, thoughts ever lovelier than lovers
and such questions as,
'what is this moon saying? '
tonight, you are telling me
your room has no lock and your sister is dating
that new guy in town.

Self-centered....
the blond
has a hand that carries a cone of
vanilla ice cream
it is summer
he looks at the sea
and lets his ice cream melt
not licking it yet
the sea is so blue
a woman looks at his
well chiseled body his
butterfly back
his abs and
strong arms
the ice cream melts
the man looks at the sand
and estimates the size
of his shadow
the sand is so white
the woman with her long black hair
in a two piece
the main attraction of this poem
backs out
and buys her own cone of
vanilla ice cream
and she licks it until the ice cream
is consumed
the man goes to the sea and makes
his needed dive
indeed the sea is so blue
and it is a sad summer....

An Afternoon Poem
it is all coffee without cream
no sugar, you say please, no sugar no cream
it is all about cold bread
nothing electrifying
unlike the softness of the arms of the beloved
it is about the coldness of bread
and the hotness of coffee
less the cream and the sugar
nothing sweet really
you guess it: there is something bitter
not from the water (for why should water be bitter?)
not from the cup (is there such a cup which has a bitter taste?)
guess further: you are wrong.
it is bitter, it is really bitter.
it comes from the heart. Not from the saucer
or the spoon.
it is the heart that is bitter. do not attempt
tasting it.
it can be toxic because it is mine.

My mom's hair is made of Chocolate Ice Cream.
My dad's hair is made of Mint Ice Cream.
My sister's hair is made of Vanilla Ice Cream.
My halve sister's hair is made of Strawberry Ice Cream.
My brother's hair is made of Coconut Ice Cream.
My halve brother's hair is made of Blue Berry Ice Cream.
My baby sister's hair is made of Banana Split Ice Cream.
What is my hair made out of?
All of the above,

Is it Tea or Coffee?
Is it Tea or Coffee?
Tell me!
My instant early morning dream
I like it black, white with sugar or cream!
The choice is free
Yet the mind cannot agree
With Tea is a Yippee!
With Coffee it is a Whoopee!
The thought of a little caffeine
The smell of fresh roasted beans
Will once again set off my adrenalin
While my exhausted brain is waiting
That stirring cup of sizzling black
Put on the kettle; spill the beans out of the sack
I will pay the fee; I will pay the levee
I will beg on one knee for a little bit of Coffee
Take a sip of the early morning coffee
Close your eyes and try to see
As you smell the airy aroma like a bee
Tea or Coffee! Perhaps you now understand me
Those swarms of dark brown seeds
They feed my vicious needs indeed
I don’t care how much I pee or how much I wee
For that sparking liquid of hot black called coffee

Bananas And Cream
(Kinky Friedman)
Well, a long time ago in old Tokyo
By the softly flowing stream
I left her there with the stars in her hair
On the other side of a dream.
Well, I traveled through with a heart full of blue
Never quite making my way
Till I come upon a strawberry blonde
Living in Pittsburgh, P.A.
Ah, bananas and rice they used to be nice
On the other side of a dream.
Oh, bananas and rice they used to be nice
But now it's bananas an cream.
I stood hypnotized, I stared in her eyes,
She smiled and I suddenly knew
If I made her my bride then the other side
0f my dream would finally come true.
Ah, bananas and rice they used to be nice
On the other side of a dream.
Oh, oh, bananas and rice they used to be nice
But now it's bananas and cream.
Well, a long time ago in old Tokyo
By the softly flowing stream
I left her there with the stars in her hair

Black Pearl
Deep down in Mississippi
I found a sweet delta blue
She weaved a little southern spell on me
Made a little voodoo
She was born the bright side of midnight
When her mama was seventeen
She was a hot blooded - god fearin' - gospel girl
The finest that I ever seen
Chorus
She's black coffee - little bit 'o cream
Sweet brown sugar - my midnight dream
Black pearl - my kinda girl
Just the kind of thing to rock my world
Black pearl - my kinda girl
Met her in a dixie diner
Put on the southern hospitality
I can still smell her sweet molasses
Running all over me
We started rollin' like the river
Like a twister tearin' through the town
Tongue tied - satisfied - 'n southern fried
As she drove this ol' dixie down
Chorus
Yeah she's alright - yeah she's ok
makin' love night - she really made my day

The Contrasts
cemented pavements
green grass
sounds of motorized cabs
songs of birds on the trees
towering skyscrapers
tall old mahogany trees
neon lights on city escapes
stars on moonlit skies
watching the mountains half covered with
morning mists
busy on TV for the serial stories
strolling on the white sandy beach
observing the behavior of seagulls
window shopping at the malls
watching 3D movies
eating deep fried chicken wings
licking very sweet strawberry ice cream
peeling the ripe mango
savoring the yellow juice feeling the pulp
watching the sunset from a high mountain
reading a best seller novel inside your room.

Naked Before My Eyes
feeling empty
i sense you
i get near you
feeling your hand
and you look at me
knowing something
that fills you too
i like you to be
my empty cup
to my hot water
i can be more
than hot water
i can be a spoon
stirring you and
you can be coffee too
and cream and
sugar and mint
i can be the mouth
that opens to drink
you as coffee and
surely we shall have
a good time together
tonight i like you
to be more than coffee
and cream and sugar
just be yourself naked
before my emptiness
and i can also be more
than a mouth to you

European Food
Europe.
One massive buffet of savory food.
Warm, large flattened crepes
Served with Nutella on the Avenue des Champs Élysées,
And hand-sized rectangular sugar cookies
Sheltered by chocolate and
Decorated with an image of a skateboarder.
Germany carries the sweet apple tea
Warm, salty pretzels and caramel coffee.
Plain yogurt for breakfast, thick and creamy
At first tasting sour
But when mixed with crisp, sweet muesli
It is most satisfying
Italians know ice cream.
The refreshing, velvety gelato
Is displayed in mountainous forms at the shop
Flavors of chocolate, grapefruit, and even pistachio
Are served in a child’s cone tasting of a wafer
from church communion.
The narrow concrete roads of Prague
Sell cylinder tubes of baked dough
Bathed in crystals of golden sugar.
Caramelized crunchy nuts are
Sold in a vibrant red paper cone
And served with milk thick enough to chew.
And while the most fantastic food resides in Europe,
American remains the most obese.
The Wet Blankets Of Childhood
he is tired
drowsy
in the middle
of this stage
he finds images of
melting
memories
same as the old metal
wall clock
dripping on the
wall
floors like
brown sugar mix
with the
carpet and the
shoes
you smell black
pepper
and steam rice
you see
scalding fish
skin
fins separating
like
locks of hair
the feeling is
liquid
flowing like
the usual
river
that you have
been picturing
since
childhood where
you can still
hear the
dissolving laughter
on that
early night earthen
bowl
when darkness is like
a cloak
finally covering
your eyes
neither hot
nor cold
until
you fall asleep
as pain
too
diffuses
like drops of
rain from
the ceiling
to your
bed

The Way We Were
sipping one coffee
licking same ice cream on the cone
spraying same perfume
drinking one coca-cola
eating same slice of pizza
bathing together
sleeping in one bed cover
one fried egg sunny side up
seeing through
one empty hole of dunkin' doughnut
laughing on grin jokes
holding hands while walking
on the boulevard
admiring the sunset
sitting on the bench
under the moon
your head resting on my shoulder
kisses for the night
we made love....
how can we ever forget?
the way we were

If I Were Ice Cream
Wat flavor would I be
Would I be a classic like vanilla strawberry or chocolate some times i wanna run away with the goodness in my pocket. Ive been described as rocky road mmmm velvety chocolate and so sweet. my life hasn't always been easy so it makes since to me I'm soft but a little nutty talking about this icecreams making me hungry.
I wonder why icecream can be so comforting. But at the same time it's Different on the taste buds of everything. My taste buds scream loud for ice cream. But as human we don't realize how much we use that thing we use ice cream for broken hearts icecream has a way to cheer us up it's also used on a hot summer day to cool us off alil as the sun goes away.
what flavor best describes you
I love all types of ice cream so that means (I love you to) as I think of all the extravagant types that sit on the tip of the tongue man there's not even enough days on the earth to try every last one. I love flavors there all unique each one is different

Hot Chocolate
Black Butterscotch, Caramel
Coconut In A Cup
Cookies-N-Cream, Brown Sugar
With A Vanilla Scent Of Lust
Let Me Spin My Straw In You
And Watch The Waves Swirl Through
With A Thick Blast Of Honey Almond
It's A Hot Chocolate Whirlpool
So Hot The Heat Could Melt Marshmallows
And Make Our Bodies Feel Warm
I Could Feel The Temperature Level Rising
In Your Soft Steamy Form
When I Get You On The Table
Or On The Counter Top
You Are A Simply Delicious Delight
From Your Bottom To Your Top
Down To The Last Drop
I Just Don't Want To Stop
Hot Chocolate..... Hot Chocolate.....
So Many Flavors To Savor
Every Time I Finish
You Keep Me Coming Back Later
Addicted To Sweet Sips
By The Touch Of The Tongue
I Believe That I Need You
Hot Chocolate Got Me Sprung! ! ! !

you and I, and the cat
we shared a cup of coffee- you and I,
as the cat looked on.
you had two lumps of sugar, a shot of cream.
mine was black.
I thought to offer cream to the cat; he’d like that.
and then you smiled.
you peered across the rim of your upraised cup, taking a sip,
scrunching your face and smiling through the steam as it
rose from your milky, sweet coffee,
and I forgot about the cat.
he purred.
quickly, I put him outside,
knowing his familiar purr, a purr that soon
would escalate into a full-blown howl
that demanded my attention and some cream.
I wanted only to savor the contented sweetness of your face,
perfectly formed for my delight, but
you felt sorry for the cat.
I had been abrupt, insensitive.
“Why can’t the cat be allowed to purr, even to howl
“if he wants? ' you said.
“Why must the cat be refused a simple request for attention
“and a sip of milk? ”
alright then, I’ll let the cat back inside,
and give him some milk.
are you happy now?
no answer.
the coffee has grown tepid,
along with your smile.
I loathe that cat.
Strawberry Delight
Strawberry
The texture.
The sexture.
With cream
A dream.
The taste
Unchaste.
Made to share.
For a pair
In love.
So red
Does it blush.
When ice has a crush.
In a smooth delight.
Our milkshake
Of the night.
And that kiss,
I reminisce,
Imprinted on my shirt.
The fruit
Of a heated embrace.
The flirt
Still makes my heart race.
Strawberry
The food.
The mood,
Of amour.
My heart beats
Like a sdrum
On the shore.
Will she come
Again tonight.
Another strawberry delight.

That Sandwich
as you take that sandwich
i remember 1971
the ham, and mayonnaise
the purple sliced onions
and cucumber
that you slip between
a big sandwich which you
say is too delicious
that is not how i saw it in the 70's
you were too young then
to know the connotation of the word
or the metaphor of being sandwiched
between two warring forces
who wanted to win by killing each other
they were all civilians mind you
sandwiched between the armed and dangerous government
and the armed and more dangerous rebels
the ham, and mayonnaise
the purple sliced onions
and cucumber
that you slip between
a big sandwich which you
say is too delicious
in the 70's they were not delicious at all
they were maimed, and bloody, killed on the streets
and public plazas bombed and brains scattered
on the hot cemented pavements
people kept in hog wires and secret
detention places
brothers all but so insensitive to the
the roots of humanity
Cains and Abels
the ham, and mayonnaise
the purple sliced onions
and cucumber
that you slip between
a big sandwich which you
say is too delicious
when all i need is simply a bitter tasting coffee
without the sugar and cream

Scrawled In Sap
O the sky grey orange
An the walls stained blue
An I laid right down on the golden satin with you
Into sween dark circles of beautiful eyes
I go round
O lord
I go round
Will you tell me once again
Cream white skin
You are my friend
I seen you walkin and your white hips sway
O girl I will have you no more
To the moan in your voice
Not a charm do you lack
Your skin to touch as a black ravens back
But I cannot go far with these words as they rhyme
As to tell, of the pleasure, your hand in mine
An I pray as I say this song in this way
That your eyes they would close an your head begin to sway
An youll feel how he heals with his blood on our skin
I am yours lady scrawled an thin
Will you tell me once again
Cream white skin
You are my friend
I seen you walkin in your husbands way
Girl I will have you more

A Painting Of Pink Lips
pink lips
melting like
ice cream
from a
pastel brown
canvass
i feel desire
you feel
the toxicity of
dripping
the uselessness of
drifting
i feel the deep sense
of falling
into a dream
of drips of
sweet strawberry

Ice Cream
to be with each other
closer than before
we take turns licking
the ice cream
on the cone, then,
after the taste of vanilla
we savor what sweetness
is still left
in each other's tongue.
