To The Other World
try standing naked by this mirror
see yourself to every detail
look closer to your eyes
count the waves of your eyelashes
open your mouth and see how many teeth you have
all white, pure white lining up on your pink gums
feel your lips with your fingertips
feel the pulp the flesh of the lower lip
to the upper lip
touch your hair
do not imagine them all black
closely they are not at all
move a little bit closer and see your body
this beautiful human body
flesh, contours, curves, some muscles
the whole of your skin wrapping
everything in your body holding them all
nothing falls, on this erect body, this
god before you, standing steel-like with dignity
in front of the mirror
do not claim you have seen your soul with your eyes
do not lie
be honest to yourself now,
alone, you are alone, do not imagine
any god, any soul, any spirit,
just be honest,
touch your body with your hands
feel the joy of having this body

Building My Body
I'm building my body
I'm happy when I'm building my body
I'm tired of fighting, let's make friends
I'm tired of burning both ends
That's why I'm building my body
It hurts me but I'm building my body
And I know what the pain is worth
I know I feel the pain of birth

Time To Refocus
Many souls Satan will deceive, through a religion they believe,
Void of many Truths of God, taught through a deceptive nod,
And many who know and understand, for God, take no stand,
Enticed by men politically correct, even if they’re God’s Elect.
Since we’ll be with Christ forever, why can’t we stand together,
Opposing darkness, men portray, as being normal in our day?
For we, in Christ, know what’s right, guided by Truth and Light,
But, dark dulls the thinking of, many who are born from above.
Do some no longer fix their eyes, on the One above the skies?
The Lord’s only Eternal Son, Who made The Church Body one,
One unified Body on this earth, born in one Spirit, by new birth,
To serve Christ, in one accord, not following men but The Lord.
Men outside the Body of Christ, fill the Church with undue strife,
Not even mindful of our Savior, mock the ways of their Creator,
God’s Truth they may not believe, yet, their ways some receive,
Simply adding divisiveness, in a Body asserting righteousness.
We need to take a spiritual pause, to focus again on our cause,
Being for God the salt and light, in a world where wrong is right,
Guiding men to the Perfect Lamb; the only Savior of every man,
Opposing men’s dark behavior, as we point souls to our Savior.

When sorrow is forgotten
the sun can finally be seen in the dusk sky of warm hues
your mind feels light and open
and your body that was once locked up in chains is free as a young eagle

life presents you with the gift of love and happiness
your wings can dry from the tears that dampened them
you can finally let go and soar
The higher you fly, the lighter you feel
the weight that once kept you confined, starts to fall from your shoulders
your lungs can finally envelop the cool air
of Earth

My Soul
My soul is not the coward
that my body seems to be.
For my soul does remember
that my body will be free,
free of all its fears and fright
while passing through this earth,
free to experience once again
a brand new type of birth.

The Body Of Struggle
we earn the body of struggle.
time beaten well worn pages
of a book no one cares to read...
anymore.
having learned to trust what we feel,
what we know that no one can take,
and to question everything else!
what we've lost merely feeds the fire,
what we've given at all costs remains.
and the truth we know is the pathway
of the heart... our feet bruised
by stones and hard travel... keep walking.
