BBC NEWS (AN internal reflection)

THERE will be wars in this world,
many lies like masks on the faces of diplomacy
agenda are hidden like
cockroaches in those dirty cabinets
what they say on TV
mislead everyone
guffaw
the terrorists wear suits
silk tuxedos
armed with international resolutions
in effect
destroying the right of each nation
to self-determination
freedoms smashed like glasses and plates
after a toast and
party

WHATEVER, the lies are hard to figure out
the experts know how to package them well
like statutes of David
like the Trojan Horse

THERE are more victims
Triumphant less
Exploiters myriad
There are excuses on the death of innocent children
and strangled women and silenced men
of this World
The collateral damages are buried
underneath those shattered facade of mosques
and markets

The gates are interfered upon
AT night the moon bleeds blood
The air at dawn sighs
A morning is broken again
People have no choice like native now
Rejoicing over a new master

The frogs has not started yet
To worry about their numbers
The greedy white Heron eyes
Its next prey.....

Deception

Sighs and lies fill the air
Appearances deceive

She may seem weak
But she hides her strengths
The silence you mistake
As unintelligence
Masks a bright mind with
Things to shout at the world
Behind and exterior of calm
A war rages just below
And underneath a still facade
Her eyes burn bright and true

Sighs and lies fill the air
Appearances deceive

Use Your Mind, Activate Your Instincts

those that know how to please
go up the ladder
when they are there
they too shall dance for the
sky
flatter the clouds
and even
make lies to the sun
and mislead the moon
with their
mastered smiles
and rehearsed
conversations

they do nothing good actually
they do not shine
their own light
they only borrow
the faces of those
that please gods

they have their own motives
hidden agenda
to grab what power is their
inside the moon

when they finally have it
they shed off their masks
their clothes
and fake skins
their tails and fangs become
evident

and soon those who believe
them shall become
their slaves
even eaten raw
in their hunger for power

Facade

A little girl trapped in her knowledge and craft
Came tripping to my room last night
I cooked her a steak and I tried not to fake
And still make everything alright
She had dreads in her hair and problems and cares
She tried hard not to let em show
She was decent and sweet and I was sizin up the meat
But doubts fell in my mind like snow
And when the shove comes down to love
The facade falls down
And when the bricks fall from the tricks
The facade falls down
Its a sunny afternoon and Im sitting in my robe
Im dirty and Im here alone
Theres a story on my table that talks about me
And I want to stuff it down the authors throat
And Im sleeping with someone new every night
And in the morning politely saying bye
And Im nowhere and no one
And I only wanna run
And I feel like a hamburger bun
And when you must
Believe or bust
The facade falls down
When youre scared of a brand new care
The facade falls down
I got no reason to believe
I got no reason but Im new york scumbag tough
And Ill keep on truckin
So night is falling
And Im getting tired
And its time to get my slippers and books
Got a sweater and glasses
And something that passes
For a way to get by in this world
And Im getting tired
Of so many different things
I guess Im just plain tired
Or maybe too intelligent to believe
In the obvious side of things
And when voice says make a choice
The facade falls down
When your knees start to concede
The facade falls down
When the shove comes down to love
The facade falls down
And when the bricks fall from the tricks
The facade falls down
The facade falls down
The facade falls down
The facade falls down
The facade falls down
The facade falls down

Master Of Insanity

Look all around
Cant you open your eyes
Voices are calling
Killing rain falling down from the sky
Crying with nightmare tears
Out on the street
Youll see blood on the ground
Cities are burning
Feeling the pain cutting right to your soul
Goodbye now
Youre caught in his spell
Your freedom is gone
Hes taken everything
You ever had
But if youre strong youll survive
Youve got to hold on
Open your eyes
Chorus:
Behind the lies you will see
The master of insanity
Under the mask there will be
The master of insanity
Innocent minds
Theyre the victims of shame
Staring in sorrow
Promises lying there
Broken and crushed
Confusion-just disappear
What can you give
To be left all alone
When theres nothing at all
Your freedom is gone
Hes taken everything
You ever had
But if youre strong youll survive
Youve got to hold on
Open your eyes
Chorus
Behind the lies you will find
Hes trying to get inside you
Just open your eyes and you will see
The master of insanity
Chorus
Between the lies you will find
That hes trying to get inside you
Out of the night into your mind
Hes always right beside you
Yeah, between the lies you will see
The master of insanity
Open your eyes or you will be
The master of insanity

The MoonWalker

Here lies The Moonwalker
The greatest of all performers
The one who inspired the whole world
And brought us closer together

Here lies The Moonwalker
The greatest vocal artist
Whom he himself suffered
But still brought our world together

Here lies The Moonwalker
The greatest dancer of all time
He was diagnosed with vertigo
And still brought our world together

Here lies The Moonwalker
One of the best human right fighters that ever lived
Whom himself was accused and trialled
But still brought our world together

Here lies The Moonwalker
Who without a choice was turned a different colour
Who was convicted and discriminated
And still brought our world together

Here lies The Moonwalker
Who was cheated and lied to
Whose children were forced to were masks
But still brought our world together

Here lies The Moonwalker
Who performed his heart and soul
Who millions of people idolized
But still brought our world together

HERE LIES THE MOONWALKER
Who donated over $150,000,000 to the sick, hungry and poor
His songs were amazing amongst them were:
Man in the Mirror, Will you be There and Heal the World
These songs are all based on life....
Michael Jackson Brought The World Closer Together

Inside The House Of Pain

a damaged brain inside a house of pain.
pieces of broken porcelain, all white and tiny.
under my feet. flying plates landing on walls.
smashed to the sound of bangs and cracks.
running mantels and falling glasses.
and viands splattering on the floors.
dirty carpets. stained curtains. broken windows.
loud words buzzing like giant bees in such a small
room. where everything is a crowd of cruel
words and slapping hands and pulling hairs.
mother wails and shouts for help.
father strikes her face. some blood bleeding
on unwashed handkerchiefs.

children running away. hiding in corners of
this world. all silent not needing any help because
they are all to afraid to become big like them.

An Island War Tragedy!

Their hero is no more but then,
He is alive in every heart
And mind, for whom he fought so well,
Until he ultimately fell
To bullets sprayed from ruthless guns,
That brought the valiant man to earth.

The land is freed from ‘tigers’ now?
A mighty myth was rendered false;
The landscape lies in ruins much;
‘The people are refugees, ’ ‘Oh! ’
They died by thousands, all in vain;
Most families in tents just live.

Denied of equal rights for long,
The people hum a plaintive song
Of sufferings and unfairness,
Unleashed upon them by brethren.
Their trauma is too great to tell;
Their island life is now like hell.

They razed all buildings to the ground;
Their ravished women look like ghosts;
The mutilated ones too die,
For want of proper treatment fast.
Has God abandoned them also?
They have been victims of all crimes!

The war is over but so what?
Their fate lies hanging in peril;
Their shattered dreams of wealth and health
Have gone awaste in dogged lives;
Their families are dejected;
They wonder why they are alive!

The world stayed watching them suffer!
Their neighbors were insensitive;
A rosy world has turned blood-red!
Their future is in smithereens!
Where is the God who had made them?
Should wars cause wounds that cannot heal?

What tragedy had struck their isle!
Their land was like a paradise;
But things have gone all awry now;
They have no water, food to take;
Like cattle driven to their pens,
Their victors treat them worse than beasts!

Could not the genocide been stopped?
Is there not ways to avoid wars?
Innocent men, women, children,
Fall prey to perpetrators’ guns!
The world is silent while more die
Of diseases and lack of care!

The people need a soothing touch!
Let nations rush to help these souls;
They had not slept for days on end;
Their ears are deaf by blasts of bombs!
If human love is supreme, then,
Let nations hurry up to help!

Syria

Is this the end of the world?
What have happened to you world?
Why you became so savage and your brutality is hard to be told
It's breaking my heart to millions of pieces
While the children of the same country
Brothers.........
People who have the same nationality are killing, hurting.destroying each other
Motherland Syria you are wounded my dear land
You're crying blood because It's hard for a mother to behold
I know your heart is broken the most
It's hard for a mother to bear this ugly reality which is unbelievable and destroys A mother's heart the most
When brothers hurt each other
Nothing stood in the world the same
After today nothing could be the same
The world has lost its measures and all theories have been changed
Everything has became above the ability to be understood
When the pity from the world is lost
While the brother is wishing death for his brother
When the hungry eyes of the people are gazing around
As the animals in the jungles looking for blood
To satisfy their hunger
What else left yet world?
More ugliness tell us world?
Do you have more?

The Very Wars They Inflict Upon Us

history remembers names
sculpted on white marbles
of soldiers who died
in their own valor

the very wars they inflict upon
us perhaps history too must not forget

the civilian, the innocent children, the crying women,
the mosques, and churches in ashes, the playgrounds missing,
the markets all blown up,
the trails erased one day, the forest flaming, the art museums gone

they planted the mines
and those who may have not forgotten
still clearly remember

on some days while they sleep on bed
some explosions still come alive

the dead still keep on dying

The Death Of Goddesses

It used to be hard
for women,
snowed in their white lives,
white lies,
to write books
with that fine frenzy
which commends genius
to posterity,
yet estranges it
from its closest
friends.

Women were friends to all,
& being too friendly
they could not command
the unfriendly prerogatives
of genius,
though some were
geniuses still,
destroying
only themselves
with the torment
of the unfriendly ghost
trapped in a friendly
form.

Oh the women who died
dissembling friendship
for the world!
Oh the women who turned
the dagger inward
when it wished
to go out,
who impaled themselves
on Womanhood itself!

No vampire
could be
as greedy for blood,
no father or husband
as bullying.
A woman punishing herself
with her own pain
is a fierce opponent indeed.

It is self against self,
dagger to dagger,
blood of her blood,
blood of her daughter,
blood of her mother,
her menses, her moon,
all pooled together,
one crimson sea.

It is the awful auto da fé,
the sublime seppuku,
Sante Sebastiana
as archer
& victim too.

The arrow flies from her bow.
She runs, fleet as Diana,
& stops it
with her breast.

Enough!
cried the Women-Who-Cared.
Henceforth we will turn
our anger where it belongs.
We will banish the whitest lies.
We will speak the black truth as it is.
Our father- we spit back their sperm.
Our husbands- we spit back their names.
Our brothers- we suck back our love.

The self-righteous inherit the earth,
& anger speaks louder that love.
Love is a softness
the weak cannot afford,
& sex a Darwinian bribe.

But who wants the earth as a gift
when it is empty as space,
when women grow hard
as bronze madonnas
& Diana loves only her stag?

When Persephone stays in hell
the entire year,
then how can spring
begin?

Lies Told To Children

religious incantations,
written with dead bodies,
buried in ditches
with face drawn shovels.
the tint of skin tastes
like things done in the night.
and lies told to children
to let them sleep!
redemption killed
on a desert highway,
left to stink in the sun
of another faceless day.
we are what we have done,
in the final end.
yet we close our eyes,
and wash the blood from our hands!
blame it on the cost of freedom,
a white god with special needs.
religious incantations,
and lies told to children!

written for the spirits of over
100 million Native Americans killed!

We Wear the Mask

We wear the mask that grins and lies,
It hides our cheeks and shades our eyes,--
This debt we pay to human guile;
With torn and bleeding hearts we smile,
And mouth with myriad subtleties.

Why should the world be overwise,
In counting all our tears and sighs?
Nay, let them only see us, while
We wear the mask.

We smile, but, O great Christ, our cries
To thee from tortured souls arise.
We sing, but oh the clay is vile
Beneath our feet, and long the mile;
But let the world dream otherwise,
We wear the mask!

Because Of Us

We will never defeat the terrorists with our oppressive laws
We will only defeat terrorism by fighting it's root cause
What are we doing one well might ask to alleviate poverty
In war torn and Third World Countries? not much if you ask me.

Because of us thousands of innocents in New York and Washington have died
And because of us so many dreams of life have been destroyed
And because of us in Afghanistan suffering and death dropped from the night sky
Those who say we are the good guys even believe their own lie.

And because of us in Iraq there is fear and death and pain
Far worse than the worst suffering inflicted on his people by the deposed despot Saddam Hussein
And since the Gulf war more than a million Iraqi citizens have met with a premature and tragic end
And why should they wish to believe us when we tell them we're their friend.

In a World where there is so much poverty terrorism will abound
For places of suffering and poverty are to the terrorists breeding ground
If we put as much effort into combating poverty as fighting terrorists then terrorism would subside
And people would live in harmony and peace would be Worldwide.

For the wars and deaths and suffering the terrorists we'll blame
But we ourselves not innocent we too play the dirty game
The game that causes grief and heartbreak they call it Us and They
But one man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter at least that's what they say.

Because of us there are refugees and these poor people we demonize
And that they do not seem to like us comes to us as a surprise
And because of us and because of them there is only hell to pay
And that beautiful rose the Rose of Peace is withering to decay.

Third World War

Where the young mens brave new visions threaten old mens selfish
Dreams
And they try to crush the spirit with their money and machines
And they call it communism because they dont know what it means
In the third world war
And the rich keep getting richer and as wrong as they are right
And the poor become the victims of the armies of the night
And the odds are never even and their skins are never white
In the third world war
Broken rules and dirty warriors spreading lies and secret funds
Cant defeat the campesino with their money and their guns
cause hes fighting for his future and his freedom and his sons

In Days Of Blood

Buried by the wind, a yellow house
Gains acceptance in the eyes of God;
Underneath the realms of fantasy,
Lies a world of tragic blood and torture,
We speak of crafts they conceive,
We see rivers of fire in our house,
The destroyed ones are buried by those winds.
Very crude animals taste the fortune of colours
That entwine the engines of sound.
A broken twig mutters its anger
As you wake up in a hundred days.

Tip Of The Iceberg

what you know of me for the whole year
when you read my poems are not at all true.
they are all lies.
words pretending to be hands
and feet.
Lines pretending to be faces and bodies.
i do not wish to tell you that you must disregard them
you want them to believe to be true.
i cannot stop you.
the women and their names are lies.
the white horse
that father rode was also a big lie.
It was father who
gunned the horse down, and he even sold all the meat and bones
of the poor animal in the streets of the town where we live.
the places and events and other
sighs and moans, the squeaking beds and mournful
moons and crying stars: they are all lies.
they are but tips of the icebergs of my glacier
of lies floating in the middle of the arctic.

you always follow me and
i do not wish to stop you.
and i will tell you wrong directions.
i will tell you about
the wrong places that i have not ever been to.
i will tell you about the errors.
the wrong things about me.
i will tell you exactly the opposite of who i am and where i am going.
you may be lost as i will mislead you.

But, IF you really want to know me, i will compromise.
You must remove your clothes.
Everything.
Even your skin.
Your face.
Your eyes.
Tighten every screw and bolts that hold your bones.

If you want to really know me, not just the tips of the icebergs about me,
you must be naked first.
Undress everything that covers you.

Then we must swim together. Let us dive under.
Let us go deeper
together. It is where my soul lives.
Deep under the tip of the iceberg.

Do you see me now? I am bigger and wider under.
Do you not fear me? Be not afraid,
I am the one that you always followed
for years and more years to come.
I am huge, deep down under.
Do not fear me now. Hold me.
Do not leave me. I am your truth too.

For one thing, there is no exit going up.
Now we must suffer together. IT is forever.

Walima (Wedding Dinner)

A ceremony where hidden absurdities,
Underneath the rustling dresses, coated skin,
Painted lips, combed hair and shaved faces,
Come up shamelessly to jump at the opportunity.

A competition of filling the big containers,
With sweet spicy warm dainty dishes,
Of chicken, beef, mutton, rice with salad.

How gluttonous participants stuff the bellies,
The leg in mouth wing in hand, chest in plate,
Avaricious eyes stare around to have more!
And how frantically like horses they eat,
When they are let loose in the lush green corn,
They eat less and spoiling pillage more,
As if the doomsday will cease the world tomorrow.

Ah! The simpletons move with empty plates.
With huge yellow greasy spots in front,
The uninvited seem happier than the invited,
Trace out they far fetched thread of propinquity.

Oh! Man! Behave like Man, if thou are a man.
Gentility lies but underneath the surface,
In presence of the opportunity springs up,
Whatever is hidden in flesh, blood and bones.

Peace Save The World.

Innocency is suffering
Peace save my world
Begging you my God
Send us your angels to protect the world
Look at my earth
Innocent souls are crying
Please send your angels to protect our world
Peace come our side
May somehow you can find the way
To enter and ease those angry souls.
To stop harming, beating and destroying
Peace enter all hearts
Can't you see all these pains and hurts?
Innocent people are dying,
Poor mothers are crying
Please stop destroying,
Our beautiful earth.
Purity is weeping
Kids are hungry crying
Young men are dying
And my heart is bleeding
The poverty is surrounding
All the world are suffering
Stop killing and destroying
where are you going
With all these hurtings
Stop blood bath!
Stop the wars!
Peace come to our world.

Men And Women

I can't see how I can
Turn around what has been done
I was just like a child
With my eyes wide open
History and any cause
And my eyes are still open
But my mouth my mouth is shut
I'm closing off the lies
Making my own mind up
When I can I will
How many dirty little secrets
Were kept behind my back
Men and women
Men and women
Men and women
Giving each other the sham
Hungry at any cost
Now my eyes are still open
But my mouth my mouth is shut
I'm closing out the lies and promises
Men and women
Men and women
Men and women
Giving me the sham
