After You Leave Us ....
you must begin to imagine
after you leave
and be gone for years
when you come back
i am still here
this is still the house
but there is no longer
any welcome sign
even like a rug
we are tombs
silent cities without trees
grassy paths
all stones ....

A Companion On The Impossible...
on finished paths
i shy away, the stones there look the same
but no one is complaining
and all attempts to find new ones
seem to be nothing but a respect for
the trivial,
i am faced with forest trees
those that do not know how a man looks like
or how a woman tastes
all they know are the winds from the sea
and the clouds from across the islands of despair
i do not have a cutter on my hand
and i only have my fingers and tongue
i squat under the sun and begin my work
there is so much to cut and clean
been here for years and there is nothing much
that changed
the trees have grown so tall and cannot even see me
the grasses sheltered more snakes and have their party
i am alone with nothing but hope....
and then you come.

A House Without Stairs
do not say
that without the stairs
the house is not a house anymore
without the ceiling
the more the house becomes to me
take the roof
if you want
or the beams
or even the floor and window frames
my house will still be a house
the sky its roof
the stretching grassy plain its floor
all the stars become
my magnificent ceiling
whatever is taken
we must imagine that all things are still there
lest we only have a house
that crashes on the floor
with all of us
dead
crushed to the death of
our imaginations
a door without an exit
because you have not seen hope coming
the lock and key
are all in the mind and heart

Imagine the World
Imagine the world ……………………….
Imagine the world without wars…
Imagine the world without your laws
Imagine your life without fear
Imagine your eyes without a tear
Imagine all men were real men
Imagine…imagine…imagine…
Imagine life without hate
Imagine you knew your own fate
Imagine all children were happy
Imagine all nations were free
What would life be like?
Imagine no-one were blind
Imagine all the woes behind
Imagine…….imagine……..imagine….
Imagi ne earth were flat
Imagine man without a heart
Imagine the day without light
Imagine the dark without the night
Imagine……….imagine……imagine……
Imagine faces without a smile
Imagine birds without a nightingale

There Is Something In Her
something that i cannot understand
her own emptiness
she felt it when the old house burns itself
for no cause at all
at the other side of the road
i can't help but hum a song
whistle within
for i own nothing
and then i dance my way back home
along the paths of sharp stones
this is my poverty here
that no one shares

To Give You Away....
i am going back to the fields
of grass
cows still pasture there
and the flock of sheep still silent
and hardheaded
the past as master has lost
control of the staff
and the trees have gone untrimmed
for years
this is the forest of our future
no one minds where the paths
are growing
what mountains move somewhere
and whether abu comes back again
or not
the women really do not care
as they bathe naked in the river
i am going back there to recollect
the rules of my games
for i have lost them
that innocense that has kept me so alive
the swim in the old river
the strength of my legs
that excitement about those which were new
and so uncertain
i am going there to regain what
i once had
now that i am already ready
to give you away

A Pledge Of The Heart....
i am sworn to the
flocks of
silence
only my hands
speak for me
i bleed
but my mouth is cursed
when i begin to speak
the world trembles
the storms begin
to rage like a mad dog
the rain pours heavily
on the roof
and the paths
camouflage as thick grass
there is only one way
back
through the silent flocks of
the heart
nature has done
what is best
to keep the order
sun and moon must not meet

Imagine
Imagine it's me, the hands caressing you,
No longer yours, but mine stirring your soul.
Close your eyes and make believe our bodies are one,
A sublime union of flesh and emotion.
Lips colide, hot breaths mingle, hearts beat faster.
No stopping now, every nerve ending sings.
A slow and steady climb, exquisite limits yielding.
As you approach ecstatic release, imagine me.
Imagine me within you, no longer a far-off image.
No longer an unseen face or a distant apparition.
Imagine it's me that you feel...
And i will imagine you...
Spread the love... The peace will follow...

Silent Screaming
Will you just leave me alone? Screaming in the silent,
This motionless stalemate is cutting me like a knife.
Reaching for what is no longer there-
Trying to appear I care when I don't care.
Just want to run away, run to a distant place,
Where the sun melts my plastic face.
Find a place where I belong, in welcoming arms,
Live on a world of peace, where the ocean's calm.
Where no more do I keep my right hand free,
Where peeling away masks no longer concerns me.
Got my back up against the wall.
Walking, but I ain't there at all.
Knowing what I should be doing, but I won't.
The scars in my back still bleed, ghosts still haunt
Weary from the long battle, the sticks and stones-
They've finally, in my armour, smashed a gaping hole.
Flinching from every little hit, grasping at straws,
Falling for the final count, lying on the floor.
Silent screaming deep inside, ripping me to shreds.
Lying here, pounding my hands on my bed...
But let the fire come, the armies, the dragons of the land,
I will fight them with my last breathe, with whatever is in my hands.
I will not die a coward, but rather a lion bold.
Though I may not win, I will earn my place with those who didn't fold.
Screaming in the silent, bracing myself for yet another 'final' fight...

We Decided To Cut Some Trees
we planted the seeds together
we were thinking of fruits
for our children
we were thinking of the shade
where they can
in the future play
then the fruits in bounty came
mangoes loaded
and some water apples
shining on the twigs
the fruits ripen and some birds
came and ate them
the fruits ripen and some fell
on the ground and some
worms came and ate them
the trees get tired finally of the
seasons
flowering, fruiting, falling and
rotting and trying to
repeat the cycle all over
again
for years and years
we got old of waiting for something
new and exciting
we got bored of the fruits
the children of the neighbors
got married and left the place
we got old and tired and this day
we decided to cut the trees
some for the first time
we are too shaded
we want to see light come
we want to know what sunshine is
again, after all those years
of coldness and darkness under
the shady trees
perhaps, this is something new now
light and sun and another way to look
at our lives
something exciting something to open
to see blue skies to see the full moon
to feel warmth to let the worms sing
to see some precious stones
hidden all these years in our common paths

The Fish Pound and Violin
My grandpa stay in the house
Near the river
Where its water flow end in the South Ocean
His garden hedged with Bamboo trees
In front of the garden planted three tuft trees
The children like to climb the tuft tree
Pick up the fruits and eat on the tree
Glad and laughing
My grandpa was silent and said nothing
He just smile subtly, and gaze at far away
There is a fish pond in the backyard,
In its edge planted pineapple and banana trees
My grandma always give brand and papaya leaf to the pound
Giving food for the fish like Gurame, Sepat dan Nila,
While my grandpa make a biola, gitar and bass
In the litlle studio, near the kitchen
I passionatedly gaze the fish jump around
And glad
While they don’t know their destiny
Decided by mothers in the cities
On the frying pan, roastibng, caserate,
With imagine to ecpanced their plan on the rice filed
Near the road forgeted how farmer produce,
Fish, rice and vegetable,
And actually
Their Self conscience.

A Village Far Far Away
Far, far away is my village!
Where fireflies of my childhood
Still glow in thick folliage
Of Pipal trees.
My lisping words
As they fell from my lips
Are still alive
On old, bent, dying stairs
Of the long-deserted house!
Like rapiers thrust into silence.
Far, far away is my village!
Where darkness
Spreads its wing before it is evening
Tick-tocking sound of the flour mill
Long flights of birds
Going far, far away
Tinkling bells
All become a single tune
To drown into the dark lake
Of night.
Far, far away is my village!
Where I saw
Dreams of happy days to come
While learning my lessons
In the dim light
Of hurricane lamp.
Far, far away is my village!
Where reflections of my first love
Still linger
Where paths are shrouded
In sadness
And loneliness laced with secret longings
Peoples fields, ponds, the school
And trees herded together.
Far, far away is my village!
Where wind still finds
Its way in moonlit nights
Through silent streets
And sleepy courtyards
Calls for me in silence
And turns back, not finding me.
Wind has the same old habit
The same old routine
But life has trampled me
Under direction-less feet
Of crowds in cities.

How Many Years Has It Been Now?
So right you are.
When you say to me,
I don't know you.
How many years has it been now?
Everything you do,
Competes with the wind.
And I am not looking,
To begin questioning a habit...
I should not let begin.
This should have ended,
The moment it began!
So right you are.
When you say to me,
I don't know you.
How many years has it been now?
I wish you had been a cigarette...
And said that when I became first introduced.
I wouldn't be smoking now.
And of course,
I would not have had anything to do with you.
Neither one of you would have existed...
To get me to believe,
There was something in it for me...
Other than a habit that addicts I can no longer explain!
How many years has it been now?
'Too many! '

Sycamore Trees....
i don't imagine sycamore trees
we don't have them
i can't imagine the sea-breeze bringing to me
the perfume of your hair
or remembering once that there was spring and that you were with me
not that i do not like spring
but because there is no spring here
and one last thing,
i can't remember you because you are no longer here with me
honestly what for? do i take another dagger and stab my heart again with
it?
how foolish can i be- that is what my friends are telling me.
i don't remember sycamore trees, and i have no plans remembering them.
we don't have it here.

Tree Sparrows
Than their cousins house sparrows they are far more shy
The moment they see you into bushes or trees they do fly
They do look attractive when seen in the sunlight
Though in colouration from the house sparrows the difference does seem slight.
Tree sparrows are birds one doesn't see every day
From human dwellings from their cousins they live further away
For insects and seeds they search on the ground
And in Winter in flocks their numbers abound.
Like house sparrows chirpers they too cannot sing
But than house sparrows more wary of humans which is a good thing
They seem rather restless when humans are near
One might say of them their's is a healthy fear.
In grassy places near bushes and trees them I often do see
But they fly into cover when they notice me
Their cousins compared to them seem rather tame
Tree sparrows for them is an often used name.

Imagine That
Imagine That
Close your eyes...
Now relax your mind...
Now I want you to picture yourself
Far, far away
(You know your thoughts inside, girl we're 'bout to take a ride)
I don't want you to have a care in the world right now
(Let it go, let it go, let it go, aw yeah)
It's just you... and me
In this moment
Quiet... listen...
Baby take your mind into a zone
Imagine that we're all alone
2-way's off and our friends are gone
Now picture you and me gettin' it on
Take my hand and come with me
Let's indulge in fantasies
Cast your cares and worries
And slowly fall into this ecstasy
I'm gonna rub your body so baby just relax
You've been pourin' out your lovin' and now it's time to pour it back
Imagine that
Imagine that, imagine that, imagine that, imagine (all night long)
Imagine that
Me strokin' your body, imagine that
Imagine that, imagine that, imagine that, imagine (ohh-ho)
Imagine that
Whipped cream and strawberries, know what I mean?
Imagine that, imagine that, imagine that, imagine (ohh-ohh)
Imagine that
Candles and oils surrounding the bed
Imagine that, imagine that, imagine that, imagine (ohh-ho)
Imagine that
And me kissin' your body from feet to head
Imagine that
We don't have to talk
Ohh lay your body here, and watch my fingers walk
Take a second... and imagine the opportunity
You and me sharin' sexual energy
Now girl just meditate on you bein' in this chair
Now close your eyes and act like we're not even here
Girl I'm gonna rub your body so baby just relax
You've been pourin' out your lovin' and now it's time to pour it back
Imagine...

Memories
*Whisper* Memories, Memories, Memories
In This World You Tried
Not Leaving Me Alone Behind
There's No Other Way
I'll Pray To The Gods: Let Him Stay
The Memories Ease The Pain Inside
Now I Know Why
Chorus
All Of My Memories
Keep You Near
It's All About Us
Imagine You'd Be Here
All Of My Memories
Keep You Near
The Silent Whispers
The Silent Tears
Made Me A Promise I'd Try
To Find My Way Back In This Life
I Hope There Is A Way
To Give Me A Sign You're Okay
Reminds Me Again
It's Worth It All
So I Can Go Home
Chorus
Together In All These Memories
I See Your Smile
All The Memories I Hold Dear
Darling You Know I Love You Till The End Of Time

What We Have Become
in the shallow part of the river
we decide to play: life is a game
we like to believe that
our arms drip like cold water
on the side of the glass
that you hold when you have felt
the first thirst
i shall not satisfy you
and so i have become the bait
of the fish
you have become more interested
on what i have to say
not to be mistaken as trivial
i have also taken more glances at you
i believe you
and so with this trust i ask you to go with me
to the deep part of the sea
i swim first then you follow
you know how to swim and you swim well in fact
like a fish
at the shallow part
i told you that nothing is hidden
nothing signifies anything
the stones are stones
and nothing else
your questions are just ordinary questions
which i have answered to well
and you believe me more until
we dive deep
deeper into the ocean floor
where the sands though silent
have more to say
than what i can tell you
the stones on the sides of the deep
now are telling you more
and you begin to understand
why for all those years
on that dry land
i have kept my silence
my distance.

Perhaps Just To Myself Alone.....
perhaps to leave a mark
of what i am
i must leave a memory of
us,
but it is not just possible
there is no us
we're like lovers who
got entangled in the arms of
foreign cities
so perhaps to leave a mark
without us
i can just write and write
anything i wish
anything i can imagine that
could have been a possibility
or perhaps i can tell you
that the best i can do is to accept
that without you my life
can still be a beautiful thought
whatever,
i still must a leave a mark
a kiss on the earth's surface
that perhaps you can
feel
sometimes i laugh at myself
awed by the
wonders of my
own grasping about what is this
loneliness
all about
perhaps after i have crossed this
border
i shall remember
perhaps alone i can smile in the
mirror
and then finally
tell it all
whatever, perhaps just to myself alone

Hand
Clouds darken the plain.
From all sides, the mountains of the horizon move forward; the plain shrinks, crumpled into valleys that grow deeper. The three rivers become torrents that flow swiftly in their cavernous beds towards those dark spots where they meet: the cities.
Then the sun again.
The mountains move back to the distant circular horizon; the valleys disappear, and the three rivers flow placidly in their scarcely perceptible beds of luminous sands. The cities glisten with their crystal walls and the hard light is reflected from house to house along the glass streets. Men no longer drag their dark-blue shadows like long chains that rattled on the opaque cobble stones. Silence of light: frozen wines of sound. No wind stirs, sleepily coiled around the towers that are transparent stems bearing the white flowers of clouds which float, vehicles for our pure thoughts, like water-lilies on the surface of a stream until they fade into the blue depth of space.

Give me a Sign
The whole world has been brought to its knees, and I still have these nervous shakes.
Don’t be fooled you push me too far and I will kill you, no matter what it takes.
Leave me alone, then pull me closer then ever before because I’m insane.
I lost my mind to you two years ago, do something to rid me of this pain.
We burned through the summer so fast. I wish each of those days were years.
No matter how strong I will you back, this emptiness still brings me to tears.
Was all of my love a waste? Because I can’t command it back into my heart.
Help me I scream at anyone passing by, or finish me and completely rip me apart.
I’m barely hanging on, nothing to hope for, no light waiting for me on the distant shore.
Your long brown hair and eyes gave me inspiration you still are the only one I adore.
Now this music is playing in my head, give me a sign, just give me a sign.
Do something, do anything, but give me a sign that shows me you’re still mine!
