A Pledge Of The Heart....

i am sworn to the
flocks of
silence

only my hands
speak for me

i bleed
but my mouth is cursed

when i begin to speak
the world trembles

the storms begin
to rage like a mad dog

the rain pours heavily
on the roof

and the paths
camouflage as thick grass

there is only one way
back

through the silent flocks of
the heart

nature has done
what is best

to keep the order
sun and moon must not meet
