A Sigh into the Present Air...

things would have been better
if left untouched
like some women opting to
become virgins
not having seen any man
nor thought
of masculine symbols

like nature
the forest would have been better
if its trees are left
uncut

the weeds tall like grown up natives
the grasses spreading
without the
artificiality of
the manicure
of the mower
like a river flooding the land
overfilling banks

words would have been better
if not uttered
like raw emotions like
sushi
that you savor with your tongue

how delicious to see
all these things
and feelings
unadulterated by explanations
or justifications

of reason that does not want to be overpowered
by the innocence of ignorance
no apple on the esophagus

none about analysis
just plain description of what is there
nothing about
additions
or conceptualizations

i would have wanted
my love to be like this

but look at it now
this heart folded like an origami
deceiving you with a stork

feelings cut into pieces of
graffiti of pent up emotions

what they ought to be
what they must or
should have been

dado joints fitting into
rules
or universal concepts
lacking now
the originality of
truth...

Nature’s Feelings

Words do not describe the feelings inside of my soul;
The experience of winter and summer encompasses the world
Like my soul and the rest of the souls that work and turn
According to Nature, Mother Nature, that also cannot describe
Or reiterate the surge of emotions and feelings.

To expertly decide the future of the globe needs your feelings at heart,
And the heart has many turns and praise can eliminate you.
The world of praises has not enough to constitute a victory for the soul,
Nor do the animals and birds feel at ease just with your feelings,
For at their hearts is also an emotion erupting and awaiting to be called.

The heart and mind creates a description of the soul,
The soul has painted itself on all of Nature, for Nature.

Emotions

i am feeling empty inside
maybe! it's because the feelings that i hide?
at times it's a feeling of loneliness
and at times, it's loves and desires hidden away.
but with all this i have to say.

i will never change the sensations
of feeling different emotions.
love, joy, sadness, bitterness, sorrow, anxieties, and stress.
but closeness is the one i love the best.

to be close and to be inspired, is my lifelong desire.
to have someone to hug you and to tell
you that everything is going to be alright.
and that someone is there, when you're down and out
that is what emotions is all about.

i found love and it was bursting to be free
a love, so deeply hidden inside of me.
i saw the love in someone elses eyes
feelings and emotions that they could not hide.

i felt their exhileration, and each and every sensation.
i felt the pains that a heart must go through
to bring all feelings closer to you.
the heart and the mind work hand in hand
but it is the soul that makes the plan.

(is it the mind that tells the heart what is love, what is pain.
what is sorrow? or is it the heart that tells the mind these things?)

the soul is the one that instills all these things into us
and this is what we have to trust.

emotions is lifes key
it could make you a slave, or set you free.

Carry Out Feelings

Nazareth
Im not just something you can pick up or put down
Entertainment value, like some circus clown
Dont give green stamps
With my emotions
Donthave a cut price soul
Dont do,
Carry out feelings
Or take away love
Carry out feelings
You take away love
Carry out feelings
You take away love
Dont have the kind of heart
You reap and you take away
Keep in your cold store to use at some future date
Dont give a refund on my emotions
No discounting on my soul
Dont do,
Carry out feelings
Or, take away love
Carry out feelings
You take away love
Carry out feelings
And take away love
Im not just someone you can pick up and throw away
Someone to join you in arecycled love affair
Dont give green stamps with my emotions
Donthave a cut price soul
Dont do,
Carry out feelings
Or take away love
Carry out feelings
You take away love
Carry out feelings
You take away love
Carry out feelings
You take away love

On this silly hill

On this silly hill I remember the silly things
That we did
We were so young and we decided to pick
Some ripe mangoes on this silly
Isolated hill away from
Our teasing
Silly friends

And I really liked her a lot
My heart was trembling
Her heart too quivering
We felt we like each other
Feelings like hot chili
Heating our ears

We said we love each other
We promised to love each other
Till the end of days

And so I climbed the mango tree
And picked the most luscious
Delicious mangoes as may be gleaned
From their color and shape
Thinking all the best for her
That I could give
To her

I put all the mangoes in my shirt
And I was silly looking silly like a tray to her
And she picked them one by one
Near my chest lower to my tummy
Nearer to my bulge

I was breathless
As she took more
Ripe mangoes from me
Slowly
Gracefully
Peeling with her mouth and tongue
Licking the yellowish pulp
And she said the mangoes were all
So sweet smelling and delicious
Like me

She was craving
She was raving
I was simply receptive
Giving in
All
To what she wanted

She touched my heart and we were silly
On our teens we did
What married people did on this silly hill
Isolated from silly friends

We did something adventurous
We had something marvelous
We did all those silly things
Like wild horses
In nature’s ways
Galloping
Breath taking

The years passed and now I am reaching fifty
Looking back I remember the silly things that we
Young silly people on our early teens did on this silly hill

We went and parted and she married the right man for her
I too went my own separate direction, taking a wife on my own

Looking back,
I feel sad,
I feel happy
What we silly teeny people did which we think was silly

Was all done in the name of pure love so endless
We were all virgins in love & we all thought of nothing else

Love and love and love
The mango was a symbol also of love
The silly hill was the seat of love
The mango tree was a climb of love
The isolation was all in the name of love
The whole was but love’s marvel
Love’s adventure

Love and love and love was all that we had
All love and love
Pure love
Unmixed untainted unblemished unadulterated
And they think it was silly
And I once thought it was silly

On that silly hill remembering the silly things we did
The silly things we said and promised

We did not talk about money, politics and family strategy
We did not bother about inheritance, a family name, a community reputation
We were not told whom to marry and when and always why.

Love can be developed and marriage can always be arranged
That to me are the silly things that we people do to ourselves.

A Wheelbarrow

a wheelbarrow
is a mere wheelbarrow

even if it is not
red or glazed
with rain water

it is
what it is
just a wheelbarrow

but look beneath
ourselves in the forest of our wanderings

there are trees there
growing in the dampness of darkness
looking for light

a river comes flooding
that is where

meaning sprouts
upsurging emotions
now without walls coming before your fences

a wheelbarrow
is not the same wheelbarrow anymore

emotions
your emotions made it
for not what it is

transmutation
from William to you and this world
looks not familiar
anymore

petals of meanings
red so real
thorns and stalks and dews

What Is Poetry

What is poetry more than words
Thought into existence by a writer.

What is life than a mystery unspurred
No explanation seeming any righter.

What is death than sad feelings blurred
Friends’ burdens becoming not lighter.

What is love than adoration preferred
A bond constantly growing ever tighter.

What is pain than good feelings deterred
Emotions never growing any brighter.

Poetry is so much more words
Reflecting emotions felt by a writer.

Crazy Feelings

It's the poetic expressions,
of unspoken actions,
intensified to mesmerize,
my deepest depths of emotions,
the electrified senses,
signaling the waves,
the waves of love,
disconnecting the network,
of simplicity and misconception,
the chaotic quarels of inner feelings,
persists on internal war,
battling between the heart and the belly,
yet the opponent stood at a distance,
without expression of interest,
whatsoever,
crazy feelingz at boiling point,
i am left to erupt,
an erosion of emotions,
i have no choice but to burst,
this is the results of crazy feelings,
whatever it is,
it isn't love.

Lonely Traveler...

I see the lonely traveler,
Why is he so quiet?
Maybe he's in passion,
Maybe he's in fear,
Maybe sheer happiness,
Something to control in silence,
Without telling anyone...

To walk through the jungle trees,
Stare, climb and then sing,
A song, one happy, scary, so heartfelt,
I started to cry,
A mixture of feelings,
Something to divine to share,
Only with the invisible shadows,
That travel with him...

But I followed him,
For no real reason at all,
His gentle side as well as fierce side,
All in one,
All in control,
But still he walks alone,
Never to be confronted,
The Highwaymen fear him,
And those people are fearless,
Stealing money, for that you have to be...

But still, people kept away,
From this man, who sang his heart out,
Fear, despair, the quality of happiness,
This lonely traveler meant,
He spoke in a gentle voice,
When taken aback he changed his tone,
Rapidly to say,
He played his guitar on and off,
Sang to it, played to it,
Until he once met a cat,
No ordinary cat though,
A cat like him,
With feelings...

He understood,
Placed his loneliness away,
For he then took the cat,
Stroked it, Matured it, made it Free,
From the bounds of its old master,
He now only had his bag,
His guitar and many other
Instruments he picked up along the way,
As well as his cat, the only one that can breathe,
The same breath and feelings,
People don't know how,
For once the traveler stroked the cat,
The cat became lonely...

One of quality, one of defense,
One to never fail,
With only the man to lead,
Nobody else, may feelings rule,
We rely on nobody else,
I realized that this man was rich,
He never however used this for expenses,
For nature to take and give,
For his feelings to rule,
But his nature to stop him,
The cat too, took all it needed for good health,
Nothing more or less...

This is unity,
One so precise and profound,
The Heavens couldn't tear it apart,
I took the chance to go up to the man, the traveler,
And say hello,
He replied, in a gentle voice,
No man of fear, only emotions,
Ones of type and quality,
We talked, he wasn't lonely now,
But when I left him,
I carried on following,
And he remained even until I died...

And there I still remember that,
That person that controlled his emotions so well,
That loneliness was the only option,
And there he is on my memories,
Pressed, like a scar,
Walking through those woods,
Those jungle trees,
Humming with the bees,
Controlling his emotions so well,
Just so well...

Loneliness was an option,
He placed that option first,
Never to stop,
Never to cease,
For he is the one to travel,
Alone, with only his cat,
One of which to he talked was me,
I don't know since,
But the Highwaymen still stay away,
From that Lonely Traveler of Feelings,
And I refer to him as this,
For he was everything in this name,
In this emotion world,
It sounds like a game,
But he was the one,
The one of only ones...

The man himself with his cat,
His majestic, playful guitar,
His bag,
His free, pure emotions,
The Lonely Traveler of Feelings... that was his name...
One to never forget...
It resides as a scar in depth memory,
Sheer memory of feelings...

Whence You Left (ed.2)

as the sun shine
to shine
on me by day
and set
by the sunset
to set
my foot, get set
to accept whence you left
the pain in my heart
and the thought
on my mind
the joy in my strength
but the weak in my knees
as moon light stole my innocence
to get
a clear thought
of mine
as the winds blow through my mind
taking away
all the memories on my mind
from my heart,
the energy of emotions to find
a way to my own
and live a life alone
as you never did come back home
whence you left...

a marriage of emotions stubbornly
molested and seduced me
threw me in agony
of thought but a stalemate
as now, whence you left
you never did come back
since you gone
i am all alone
not lonely, but alone
and just alone
with myself

For The Humanity's Peace

Who knows how do we feel
We are the art lovers we breath feelings
Our strength is the love of the humanity
Our most valuable possession are our emotions
The honesty of the feelings are our wealth

We pour down our feelings upon white papers
We try to draw down our aches.others pain with colors of our emotions
An expression of a happiness or a love and the most the time about others broken smile
Because we are the most people who really care for others pain

We are the artists the peace and humanity lovers
we pour down our emotions to an empty white papers
To write down a poem
To protect others rights we forget our's
Our feelings are our values
And for humanity's peace we do care the most.

Shocked

Written: stock aitken waterman
1a:
Tell me Im only dreaming and Ill believe you
Cant see how this could be true
Surrounded by feelings I hardly recognise
I look for explanations Im taken by surprise
If you told me yesterday that I could feel this way
I would sure enough call you a liar to your face
Chorus:
Because Im shocked by the power
(shocked) ooh
Shocked by the power of love
I was rocked to my very foundations
Shocked by the power, shocked by the power
2:
Maybe this time tomorrow
Ill discover this aint really real
cos it struck me like lightning
Like a bolt out of the blue
Emotions inside me, all over you
Im high above the universe, losing track of time
And falling free
I cant believe that you are really mine
Chorus:
Rap:
Shocked, like the lightning from up above
Down from the heavens and it gave me love
From a man who respects me
Loves my mind as well as my body
No retreat and no surrender
Equal to you regardless of gender
Giving me love that is warm and tender
Thats why I gotta tell ya
You and I are of the same mind
It seems to me that were one of a kind
Its true to say that when love is blind
But then true love is so hard to find
You respect me and the things I do
It was meant to be
I was made for you
Open the door to my heart, its stopped
And Im shocked....
Chorus:
3:
Surrounded by feelings I hardly recognise,
I look for explanations Im taken by surprise.
cos it struck me like lightning,
Like a bolt out of the blue,
Emotions inside me, all over you.
Chorus:
(repeat & fade)

For You

No words to say
No words to convey
This feeling inside I have for you
Deep in my heart
Save from the guards
Of intellect and reason
Leaving me at a loss
For words to express my feelings
Deep in my heart
Deep in my heart
Look at me losing control
Thinking I had a hold
But with feelings this strong
I'm no longer the master
Of my emotions

No words to say
No words to convey
This feeling inside I have for you
Deep in my heart
Save from the guards
Of intellect and reason
Leaving me at a loss
For words to express my feelings
Deep in my heart
Deep in my heart

Dear One

Dear one, how do I find the words,
the words I need to say?
Do they even exist my love?
For words can never convey
my feelings
my emotions,
my love for you
not on any day.

Dear one,
What good are words
that only drift away?
Words that I need to stay,
uttered sounds are here a while.
I speak and then I smile
hoping that in some small way
you'll know on every day

You are my dear one.

Poetry At 4: 09 A.m., Numb Left Arm, And Fear

discover that poetry
are mere feelings, others
who succeed at this
craft have nothing
to tell really,
falling out of logic
and taking side
with images
like a slide show of
children's pictures
with their overprotective
mothers in
fantasy land,
riding on teacups and
having pleasantries
with Alice
in Wonderland,

know that poetry is
a crutch, a dam of
emotions, to protect
the fields of corn
below the belly of
the great river
of destruction,

you write more with
a numb left arm now,
the fear spreading
on the chest, as the hour
gets creepy, and
threatens you with
a sad goodbye.

there is a rush here
to take the bus
you're late for almost
every appointment,
it is raining and you
have no umbrella,
you step inside
only to find that
the heel of your right
shoe is broken.

fear has more to offer
now, than love and lust.

and then, you keep on
writing about it,
as though, words can
help.

Tears To Tell

The time has come to watch you go watch you go
We weathered rough storms together
Couldnt conceive of the end
When I heard of your leavin
It came as a shock and surprise
Like the deepest kinds of love
Lost on the inside
Locked right on the inside
What is the greatest expression of love,
To let go and wish well
But all these finer feelings have left me with tears to tell
I couldnt be the one to hold you stop you go
It is like stripping the soul
Letting all the finest pieces go
You know these feelings between us
Could not be expressed
You will never know my old secrets
They are so deeply felt they are so deeply felt
What is the greatest expression of love
To let go and wish well
But all these finer feelings have left me
What is the greatest expression of love,
To let go and wish well
But all these finer feelings have left me with tears to tell
Leaving me with my anecdoted and private jokes
The memory of a friend
You dont seem to know my old secrets
They are so deeply felt they are so deeply felt
What is the greatest expression of love
To let go and wish well
But all these finer feelings have left me
What is the greatest expression of love
To let go and wish well

Then

Sometimes the hidden secrets, just come out
How they come out is never known.
The ones who are closer to us, reveal our feelings
Ones which we never want to reveal, also get exposed
Nothing remains hidden as our feelings, do get revealed in some way
The things we want to hold within us, also do find an outlet
Even though we never want to let the feelings be known
Then so many emotions get disjointed
Trusting becomes impossible to do
Unworkable, is what everything becomes
Then, what to do?

For Art Does Not Tolerate Reason

Truly fertile Music, the only kind that will move us, that we shall truly appreciate, will be a Music conducive to Dream, which banishes all reason and analysis. One must not wish first to understand and then to feel. Art does not tolerate Reason. (Albert Camus)

precisely my friend
i have too much of reason's justifications.
bored. fed-up.
drunk. hollow.
emptied.there is this boor.
another boar.
a bore. pestered. gouge out.
this analytical mind
causing so much
chaos in the world
of understanding
feelings.

i cross over the fence
of art.
lying on a hammock.
with a hat on my head.
a little warm sunshine
on my shoulder.
under the coconut trees.
beside a white sandy beach.
i welcome the sun
of feelings.
i breathe the breeze.
i touch the sand
and then i let loose the
grains through
my fingers.

this i like to do today.
just loaf and
dream.

i dream about us.
the two of us
in an island
our moans
music
to my ears.

The Heart Wants What It Wants

You say one thing and there I go turning around again
Working things over better left unsaid
Spinning around in my head
Talking a moment
Too personally

I have told you just half the words
I've wanted to give you
Fear of rejection keeps my heart at bay
Feelings I'd rather not say
I'd rather have you close
Than never at all

But every now and then
When my world is closing in
I feel you breezin' through my mind
I can attempt to close my eyes
I can avoid the wrong or right
But something deep inside
Says my heart wants what it wants

Baby
Stay away
Do the right thing
I know I should run
But my heart wants what it wants
Baby
Stay away
Do the right thing
I know I should run
You know the heart wants what it wants

You do one thing and
Then I go
Always imagining
Reciprocating feelings that aren't there
Sometimes I think you're aware
Your body languge it gives you away
Maybe I should run
Turn my back
Head for the sun
Feelings left to come undone

Maybe you like what's goin' on
Deep down inside I know it's wrong
I know I should run
But the heart wants what it wants

Baby
Stay away
Do the right thing
I know I should run
But my heart wants what it wants
Baby
Stay away
Do the right thing
I know I should run
You know the heart wants what it wants

It's not even a love affair
I'm makin' plans with the ghost of what was there
I've become a desperate fool
And it's all because of you

Baby
Stay away
Do the right thing
I know I should run
But my heart wants what it wants
Baby
Stay away
Do the right thing
I know I should run
You know the heart wants what it wants

Baby
Stay away
Do the right thing
I know I should run
But my heart wants what it wants
Baby
Stay away
Do the right thing baby
Because the heart wants
What the heart needs
Can the heart get
What the heart wants

I Am Beginning To Understand Myself

last night was different
inside my dream i was gentle
kind to myself there was no blaming
no enumeration of sins and no formula for what must be done
it was more of taking things like a shallow river
i step on it and there is no qualm
no sounds of wild ducks
just the cool, calm waters with slight ripples from the drops of dew
from the leaves of mountain trees,
last night, we were different
we simply gaze upon our bodies
naked as we are to the honesty of who and what we are
i kissed you on the mouth and your tongue licked mine
we closed our eyes we caressed our bodies with our hands
not a word, just a savor of the fleshy feast,
no justifications, no explanations
we grip our fingers
we bite our lips
on joint orgasms, a celebration at last of having discovered
our souls, fused, divine, and forgiving.

Heaven And Earth #2

when i look to the heavens and see the beauties of the sky
then i know the reason why.
why i was put on this earth, and why to me
my mother gave birth.
she gave me birth so that i can see
all the beauties that GOD put here for me.

heaven and earth are in unison as one
just like the sky is to the sun.
just like the crops are to the soil
through mans sacrifice and toil.

here on earth the LORD has said
is where you'll come to rest your head.
but in my kingdom of heaven
what you thought was impossibilities
'you now will see' living in immortality.

you will no longer have the human frailities
and emotions such as hate, envy, sadness
bitterness, sickness, desires
they will all go away, but other things will stay
such as love, joy, happiness
and a desire to help others
we have left behind.

in hopes that they could find the meanings
of the words that GOD has spoken
and pull out those inner emotions.

HEAVEN AND EARTH IS HERE AND NOW
IN YOUR HEART- IT WILL BE FOUND.
