A Hundred Years Of Work, A Second Junked
sad. i must tell you it is sad
and there is a reason for me, for us, to be sad
on this sad day bringing the saddest news
you work on it a hundred days
it is read, their heads shaking, they could have told you,
you are wasting your time, you could have spent it planting
potatoes, yes potatoes in your backyard,
you emote, this is my life, these are the lines of my life,
authentic, deep, true, sincere, eathly, mundane,
and too divine, God given, Spirited, conscientiously worded
deep from the heart of me, a prayer, my innermost
my heart, my soul, chasm of pure intentions
honest,
they shake their heads of your piece of shit,
junk, scratch, crumple, into the wastebasket of your days.
a hundred years of work, in a second junked, discarded.
they're honest, you're no good salamagan salamander.
think and be quiet. Hmmmmmmmmm...who cares?
whisper this to yourself: om om om i am good, i am good,
i am beautiful. i am great.
consolaton price. consuelo de bobo.
you're ggggggggggggggggrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrreat. amen.

The Madman
'I should go mad,' he said, 'in such a place!
The lack of company, the loneliness!
Nothing but trees to stare you in the face;
Nothing to do; no life; no pep; no pace!
I'd die of melancholy.' I said 'Yes?'
'Why, yes,' said he. 'The suburbs can be bad.
But this? Why, heavens, man! I should go mad.'
'What do you do?' he said. 'How find a way
To pass the time? Of course, the country's great
For rest and that' (I wished he'd go away;
I had a hundred things to do that day).
'Oh, well,' I said, 'I think; I meditate
And - ' 'Think? A man can't always think
Not all the time. Good lord! I'd take to drink!
'I'd go stone mad,' he said. 'I know the trees
And birds and sky, and all that sort of stuff
Please for a while. But man can't live on these.
I've got my love of nature's harmonies;
But, spare me days, man, nature's not enough.
You work, you say. But then, when work is done,
What in the thunder do you do for fun?
'Ah, well,' he said. 'It's peaceful, that I'll say.
Er - what's the time? Good heavens, I must go!
I've got a crowd of men to see to-day;
I'll miss the train! I must be on my way.
Can't spare another half a minute. So,
Good-bye. I wonder you're not dilly, lad.'
'Ah, that's just it,' I told him. 'I am mad.'

My Heart Is My Responsibility
Could you take a minute to read your pulse,
As it says hundred stories about the truce,
Of many things that are kept in and sealed,
It can reveal the sickening odd and the good.
Just a finger enough to find out the truth,
Press it anywhere where you can feel the beat,
Sit down quietly and count for a minute,
If seventy and two, you are healthy and bright,
If more than ninety and hundred something,
And every day you read the same thing,
For a week or a fortnight or a month,
It is time to go for a check to find out,
the cause that increases your heart beat,
It could be anything ranging from,
Medical concern, consumption of alcohol,
Over reading of pulsating materials,
Over viewing of acting celluloid dolls,
over working under stress without any rest,
over eating of oily stuff with out any fruits,
sitting on the couch and let the heart to work.
Giving work to limb is good,
Giving work to heart is very bad,
As it is your heart, you have to maintain it,
No one can service and serve it other than you.

Wish you're Done.....
a second choice may put you in good hand
and brings your way; to a good tiding wish of
a beautiful morning, in a very voice of sweet
goodbye
let the limit of what my heart desire brings
me to the wisdom of my soul, and
hold my dear breath the divine
acceptance that life, would mean
nothing with out the beginning of your time
oh! beloved who created every splendid experiences
of what each moment to live and to give
that very special gift of love;
who always bring the surfing sky to fly
and keep each promise
of a lasting memory of Life, spirited in you
live my dear one, and begin of what was called,
in the calmness of the sea, rejoice!
for nothing is worth than
a vessel of an honest hand
all had just come and go, yet! not all has given
the wonder to lay a little hand to do …..

.
Spring is alive
Spring is alive
In carolina
Deep in the forest
Where the foxfire glows
High on a mountain
Down in a holler
Thunder and lightning
So it goes
Over a hundred years ago
We came to carolina
Far across the water
Its a long hard road
With little more than courage
We came seeking independence
A little less than nothin
Is a heavy load
From the heather of the highlands
We have found the smokie mountains
Hard work and simple ways
And life is good
Life is good
Spring is alive
In carolina
Deep in the forest
Where the foxfire glows
High on a mountain
Down in a holler
Thunder and lightning
So it goes
You are
You are every morning sunrise
You are every rain
You are every peal of laughter
You are every cry of pain
You are all the summer flowers
You are all the falling leaves
You are everyone rejoicing
You are everyone who greaves
You are all my unknown secrets
You are all my hidden fears
You are known in lovers kisses
You are seen in childhood tears
You are where the stars are shining
You are where the rainbow ends
You are why the war is over
You are how the peace begins
Whisper the wind
Whisper the wind over the water
Whisper the wind all through the night
Whisper the wind along the canyon
Whisper the wind into the night
Whisper the wind brothers and sisters
Whisper the wind all the same
Whisper the wind love one another
Whisper the wind your precious name
Spring is alive (reprise)
Spring is alive
In carolina
Deep in the forest
Where the foxfire glows
High on a mountain
Down in a holler
Thunder and lightning
So it goes

Working Together
We work together
We work as one
Though there may be times
When we don't 'get on'
We may not always
See 'eye to eye'
And sometimes we feel
Like saying 'good-bye'
When this happens
We shouldn't lose heart
For of 'something greater'
We are all a part
Each one of us
Has a role to play
In making this
A brighter day
We work together
For the good of all
It's in our hearts
Where we feel the call
Gods love lives within
Every heart that shares
and every soul
that really cares
So whenever you feel
like going away
Just listen to your heart
For it wants you to stay.

of a Church community and for the 'Greater Good')

Trainwrecks
i think sometimes it takes trainwrecks,
before we'll sit down and look at, really look at,
who we are, what we are, and what we've become.
and i've had more than my share of trainwrecks....
often we bring them on ourselves, but sometimes
we have help...
it is the nature of life now that we get used, abused,
betrayed, and tormented....it makes one wonder how
much of that goes on inside us...
for the real battle is always within.
all the good and evil, all the hatreds, all the love,
all the wars, all injustices, human consciousness,
peace, and equality... all begin and end within us.
read a quote the other day... forgot who said it, that
went something like, '...there are people so good they
could never harm or kill anyone. i'm not one of them.
i wish i was... but i have to work at it.' and i understood!
i did a lot of things, especially when i was younger, that
i regret. and i paid the price.
i've made a lot of bad decisions, worked for a lot of
unscrupulous people, that used you for what they wanted,
and dumped you.
i've lost everything i had more than once, and stand to again.
when you think you dont have anything left to lose, life has
a way of showing you different.
we too often forget the value of the small things. we forget
what really matters.
and so you get pushed in a hard corner, and you stand up
angry, ready to fight. but what you're fighting is so big
you dont know where to start.... and you're fighting a
battle you cannot win!
and part of it is that the times are hard now. we've run
out of options, we have become expendable! the sad thing
is that we let this happen. we turned our heads, and walked
in indifference.
i am not a good man, nor a bad man. i am a man!
58 years old, with health issues, still wanting to work,
still fighting for what i believe is right. i have seen and
known a depth in life that i try to live, that i try to share,
with my actions, words, and intentions.
but i've reached the point where i'm not willing to
take any more shit! if i've done the wrong thing, then i
own my mistakes. but i wont apologize for what i think
is right!
running out of time, and having a hard time finding a
bridge. but that's my problem.
again and again telling my clenched fist to open.....
waiting for a break, some ray of sun....
human,100% human!

I've seen all good people turn their heads each day
so satisfied I'm on my way.
I've seen all good people turn their heads each day
so satisfied I'm on my way.
Take a straight and stronger course to the corner of your life.
Make the white queen run so fast she hasn't got time to make you a wife.
'Cause it's time, it's time in time with your time and its news is captured
For the queen to use.
Move me on to any black square,
Use me any time you want,
Just remember that the goal

Yea, yea, yea.
Don't surround yourself with yourself,

Don't Stop The Music
Heyeyeyeyeyeyeye
Don't stop the music Bobo jam
This is a jam we dance every day
Start out crazy and end up that way
Its not political but I swear
Tremendous group with the powerful snap
One two one two microphone check
Get down on the dancefloor break a leg
Straight to the top this one is a slammer
Stamp to the rhythm like a hammer
On and on on on on on and on and on
Its a new style of another bobo song
Ready for the ultimate dance attraction
Light mixing I can get what is satisfaction
Deep deep down you better keep on moving
Deep deep down you better don't stop grooving
To the T-O-P yes to the top
Work your body don't stop
Don't stop the music
Don't stop the music
Don't stop the music
Don't stop the music Bobo jam
Get on up
Tell me baby
Get on up
Get on up and jam
Get on up
Tell me baby
Deep down it feel so good
Everybody in the place throw your hands in the air
Throw your hands in the air like you just don't care
With the rhythm and the rime let the music flow
Everybody in the place are you ready for the show
All the ladies in the house shake your body sing it loud
Say yaa
Ladies let your body on a mystery tool
You better take that and be sure so
All the fans in the house clap your hands to the sound
Say woho
Fellas its time for you to break it
Make it take it and don't fake it
Jump jump jump and jam
Don't stop the music is the masterplan
To the T-O-P yes to the top
Yo Jocelyn don't stop
Oh no no no no
Don't stop the music
Stand up everybody and jam
Tell me baby
Deep down it feel so good

Blue Dove
The Blue Dove Legend.
says it's born every hundred years,
Blue Doves are true,
and brings love.
They say if the Blue Dove,
lands on your porch, or
near you, only good fortune,
for ever you'll have
Love always will be,
deep in your heart, so touching,
you with other down trodden
people, for you to reach.
An open heart to others,
a gift you will have.
Blue Doves are true
so if you see one,
do not flee.
Blue Doves are hatched,
in a nest of two
one white, one blue,
mother cuddles
with ever loving care,
she knows this little thing,
is so special and true.
The day that Blue Dove flees the nest,
and flys into the unknown
some lucky soul their fortune,
will change.
Blue Doves may be just,
a legend, but if you,
do see one, hope it comes,
your way, to bring hope,
love, life and better days.
Blue dove, does bring,
true love, and many happy
days, so watch out, look,
search the skys, Blue
Dove may be coming,
your way.

Prayer for friend
As the cruel hands approached,
pushed hard to take life and touched,
No more could do the would be wife,
the life hung in balance to the edge of knife,
I would not be accessible for some,
some more days or weeks to come,
Pray for my beloved who is under care, ,
yet he to enter but don’t know when and where?
What more I ask form HIM?
Spare him for rest of my life,
I ask not but make simple pray
life is to be lived by any other way,
Moved her words so deep in mind,
Blood ran high but could not find.
What else more can be done,
prayer to God and prayers alone,
Add my days and years
Prayed earnestly in his ears,
I have lived the best,
he is still under test,
Miracle happen as prayer do play,
after all, we have to perish in clay,
but not before the destined time,
Pardon the sin and committed crime,
’More good news’ as I learnt in few days,
recovering fast in many ways,
happy days back and life will be fast,
Prayer worked first and not at the last,
Smiling days are back again,
Heat waves gone after heavy rain,
dark clouds disappear and sky look plain,
Happiness and gloom are part of the chain

Not because we are friends
Not because we are friends then I will
Be dishonest, calling a spade a diamond,
I don’t work that way, ugly is ugly
Pretty is pretty, and bad is bad and
Good is good to me, no matter what,
And you show me your face with a
New haircut, and ask me if you look
Good, and I say, you look the other
Way around, is the barber still alive?
Then you show me your poem that you
Wrote last night, and you ask me
What do you think? I think it is
I take a look, read a while and
Twitch my face many times than usual
Garbage, throw it in the wastebasket
And you say I am cruel, I am inconsi-
Derate about how you feel. I am
Telling you, you are my friend and
We are friends because we are honest.
Why not try writing another one again?
I will not teach you though, I write so
Bad myself, feeling so bad, but I will not stop
Being myself & be my harshest critique
I bought another trashcan, bigger this time.

A Modern Day Miracle
Where could you find an example
of true faith in the twentieth century?
‘Faith Like Potatoes’ to plant
in El Nino, in drought, in dust
a never grown before potato crop?
Angus Buchan, a farmer, in Durban
South Africa declared before 35,000
“To hell with El Nino! We are going
to plant this year! And we are going
to plant potatoes.” Fool or Man of Faith?
The Wisdom Of The Modern World
Scientists warned farmers not to plant!
“Do not plant this season unless
you have irrigation.” Angus had none!
Planting planting potatoes in dust
would be a massive massive risk!
It would require a miracle!
Did Angus expect a miracle?
Or was he an experienced potato farmer?
Angus was a maize and cattle farmer!
He had never grown potatoes!
No farmer could grow potatoes in drought!
Not in drought without irrigation!
But all farmers and men of faith
know a crop, a harvest is grown,
from a seed, a seed of planted faith.
Angus prayed and prayed
during the planting and he knew;
in his heart that the Lord;
wanted him to plant potatoes.
Angus expected a modern day miracle from God!
God has complained men lack faith!
To dream their dreams large enough!
Angus planted potatoes in dust on his farm in drought!
Without irrigation without water on his farm in faith!
Angus hired two extra farms, planted potatoes in their dust!
If the potato crop failed, Angus would loose everything!
“Faith is the substance of things hoped for,
the evidence of things not yet seen.” Hebrews 11: 1.
Potatoes grow under the ground
and are not seen until the harvest!
Angus planted in faith; reaped a miracle of faith!
“because the righteous one will live by reason of faith.” Galatians 3: 11.
“The condition for a miracle is difficulty,
however the condition for a great miracle
is not difficulty, but impossibility.” Angus Buchan
“Seek and you shall find knock
and the door shall be opened to you.”

My Poems
My poems are my part,
They are my throbbing heart.
When I write them, I wish,
an honest poet's eyes
will bless them to be good
and true to life......
If, the holy souls
can't read, what is the
value of blooming emotion?
Rather, I'll sing the lullaby,
To make them sleep, in the
softest corner of my bleeding,
heart! I won't ever let them to be
in touch with the unholy air.
Because, they are my sacred prayer!

The Good Old Days
i know i'm not too much of a bargain
and you know that's not what you bargained for
as the hours turn into days
pretty soon lost in the haze
it's up to you and me
and who's to say
these could be the good old days
i like waking up after a bad dream
makes it feel like life ain't bad
little kids go out to play
they're just happy it's another day
it's up to you and me
and who's to say
these could be the good old days
i guess i could be a quiet hero
no one knows the good i've done
you're not sure
well that's okay
'cause i am
and i'm not afraid
it's up to you and me
and who's to say
these could be the good old days

Goin To Work
(bill lloyd/pam tillis)
The alarm went off but I wasnt asleep
After tossin and turnin all night what a relief
To go to work, get up and go to work
So I get onto the highway and I head into town
Theres one part of my life I wont let you tear down
Yeah and thats my work-right now Im goin to work
When the whistle blows, Ill be there
Life goes on even when its not fair
And whos got time to hurt, right now
I got to go to work
Now I remember what it is I do
For a while I thought my life was just loving you
But now its back to work
Oh thank God for my work
So from nine to five I take a break from an empty
Bed and a heart that aches, Im good at my work
Oh Im good at my work
When the whistle blows, Ill be there
Life goes on even when its not fair
And whos got time to hurt, right now
I got to go to work
Oh I got to stay busy thats the only way
Throw myself into my business and collect my pay
Watch me keep it together while I fall apart
cause a world wont stop for a broken heart
Oh no, no
When the whistle blows, Ill be there
Life goes on even when its not fair
And whos got time to hurt, right now
I got to go to work
Watch me Im goin to work
Oh yeah you know Im good at my work
Right now Im goin to work
Goin to work

On Looking Back Upon My Poesy's Past!
For long a time, I've travelled by this road!
For quite some years, I'd taken poesy's wings;
For hours on end, I struggled with my pen;
A lifetime's work is already now writ!
I did not start expecting great rewards;
I do not hanker for any awards;
I know I'm one among the well-known bards;
My accolades are not yet in my cards!
Many a thing, we do for love of it;
Some things we do better, for we are fit;
Most things in life don't duly get lime-lit;
Nevertheless, we carry on by wit!
But seasons ought to change as time goes on;
It is not good to have always the sun;
Some things in life remain for long half-done;
But pride is one thing we must always shun!
Good poetry must guide the future men;
Good poetry must make the earth, heaven;
Good poetry must kindle heart and ken;
When readers read them, they must say, ‘amen! '
I have done well despite my struggles past;
This earthly span may not for longer last;
My ship of poesy has now a mast;
But I have reached the ocean very vast!

One Hundred Years
It doesn't matter if we all die
Ambition in the back of a black car
In a high building there is so much to do
Going home time
A story on the radio
Something small falls out of your mouth
And we laugh
A prayer for something better
A prayer
For something better
Please love me
Meet my mother
But the fear takes hold
Creeping up the stairs in the dark
Waiting for the death blow
Waiting for the death blow
Waiting for the death blow
Stroking your hair as the patriots are shot
Fighting for freedom on the television
Sharing the world with slaughtered pigs
Have we got everything?
She struggles to get away . . .
The pain
And the creeping feeling
A little black haired girl
Waiting for saturday
The death of her father pushing her
Pushing her white face into the mirror
Aching inside me
And turn me round
Just like the old days
Just like the old days
Just like the old days
Just like the old days
Caressing an old man
And painting a lifeless face
Just a piece of new meat in a clean room
The soldiers close in under a yellow moon
All shadows and deliverance
Under a black flag
A hundred years of blood
Crimson
The ribbon tightens round my throat
I open my mouth
And my head bursts open
A sound like a tiger thrashing in the water
Thrashing in the water
Over and over
We die one after the other
Over and over
We die one after the other
One after the other
One after the other
One after the other
One after the other
It feels like a hundred years
A hundred years
A hundred years
A hundred years
A hundred years
One hundred years

Hot Potatoes
My baby woke me up this mornin
She said get down that labour exchange,
And if you dont come home with a job son,
Youll get no dinner to-day.
You gotta secure me a weekly workin wage.
Youll get no more fancy cookin,
Youll get no more apple pie,
Youll just get those plain hot potatoes
To satisfy your appetite.
La la la la la la potatoes,
Boiled, french fried, any old way that you wanna decide.
Hot potatoes, yeh,
I want your lovin every single day.
I said I dont need your fancy cooking,
I like the simple things in life,
Just give me those plain hot potatoes
And Ill be well satisfied,
Theyll satisfy my appetite.
La la la la la la potatoes,
Boiled, french fried, any old way that you wanna decide.
Hot potatoes, yeh,
I want your lovin 60 minutes an hour,
I want your lovin 24 hours a day,
I want your lovin 7 days a week.
Yeh, yeh, oh yeh.
I want your love, I need your love,
But all I get is hot potatoes
When I come home late at night
To satisfy my appetite.
Dont give me no more potatoes,
Boiled, french fried, any old way you wanna decide.
Hot potatoes,
I want your lovin every single day.
I want your lovin
La la la la la la potatoes,
Boiled, french fried, any old way that you wanna decide.
Hot potatoes, hot potatoes, yeh.

Love's Menu: Pommes de Terre Frites
Fried potatoes is a dish
Good as any one could wish:
Cheap it is, and appetizing;
Turn a saint to gormandizing:
Good and cheap and tasty too,
Just the thing for Love's Menu.
Love is dainty, and his food,
Even though common, must be good:
Love hath little to disburse,
So his fare must fit his purse:
Love hath fickle appetite,
We his palate must invite:
Crisp and hot, the price a sou,
Fried Potatoes, Love's Menu.
