Darkness Of...
Darkness is not the darkness of night
it is the darkness of mind and soul.
darkness is not the darkness of night,
it is the darkness of discrimination between poor and rich.
darkness is not the darkness of night,
it is the darkness of dishonesty.
darkness is not the darkness of night,
it is the darkness of aggravate.
darkness is not the darkness of night,
it is darkness of corruption.
darkness is not the darkness of night,
it is the darkness of indiscipline.
darkness is not the darkness of night,
it is the darkness of animosity.
darkness is not the darkness of night,
it is the darkness of inveterate.
darkness is not the darkness of night,
it is the darkness of perjury.
darkness is not the darkness of night,
it is the darkness that we all brought up inside us,
so, light the lamp of light inside you...

Holding The Lamp
anxious face
the lines are bold
like some veins
about to burst
like a bomb timed
at ten tonight
the flash light
roams around the
darkness
a roomful of darkness
wanting to point
out the truth
the truth is in my heart
in the darkness of
my heart
your flashlight gets
nothing
the view is holographic
mirages and shadows
ghosts and
souls
you are a failure again
i turn off the light
now see me again
in this darkness
this is my truth
this is my life
this is the only light i have
the dark room
a roomful of blackness
inside my heart
inside my soul.

To Love Without Measure
when i say i love you
there is no meter to it
no scales
from one to ten
no scores till the hundred
there is no depth
nothing about height
there is nothing to measure
nothing to price
for love is as light as air
and fills every empty space
for love cannot be weighed
and beyond what is heavy
or burdensome
its depth is beyond comprehension
its value is priceless
its measure
immeasurable.

The depth of darkness to which you can descend and still live is an exact measure of the height to which you can aspire to reach.

Talking To The Moon.
Here it goes every day every night when the moon is shinning the whole earth
The whole darkness of the world with its night
wishing she is like the moon shines the darkness of others' heart
Wishing that she is the candle of hope and strength of their souls
But every once and while she has to stand up for her self
To charge herself with the strength to go on
Forgetting the distance.. Forgetting the '' memorial '' of the distance
Trying to reach his soul by gazing up into it
Trying to reach what he feels by talking to the moon
Wishing they are in the very same page
Because the moon is the only way to herself to feel secure
To feel him around her..
To listen to his heart's beats.. to feel his arms around her
How much distance is cruel and how much the moon is a healer of the pain
How long every night she spends hours and hours trying to find enough words to tell him how much he is loved by her
How much he is missed … how much she wishes that he is talking to the moon far across the distance
Because it is the only thing that reunion their heart

In The Darkness
Why am I here now
What have I done
Running on empty - I got nowhere to run
Cant get an answer
Cant get it right
Just try to make it
till the end of the night
Is there a way to avoid doing wrong
Lead me away from the darkness
Light up my day show me where I belong
Please dont leave me all alone in the darkness
Far in the distance
There is night, there is day
Sounds are waving nets of dismay
Sometimes Im stuck in a shocking delay
Like in a slow motion movie
Im reaching out for something to hold
Life slips away in the cold - in the cold
My heart is so cold - my heart is so cold
Why was I turned down
Whats going on
I wish there was something that could have been done
How can I get there
Where is the light
How can I make it
till the end of the night
How can I turn darkness to light
Leaving my fear in the darkness
Is there a way how can I overcome
My restless nights and my fear - and my fear
In the darkness - in the darkness - in the darkness

Point Of Light
Theres a point when you cannot walk away
Theres a darkness that everyone must face
There are heroes whose names we never hear
When you have to stand up
Straight and tall an mean the words you say
It wants to take whats good and fair and lay it all to waste
A dedicated army of quiet volun-teers
Theres a point you must decide just to do it cause its right
And that darkness covers everything in sight
Reaching out to feed the hungry reaching out to save the land
Thats when you be-come a point of light
Until it meets a single point of light
Reaching out to their fellow men.
All it takes is a point of light a ray of hope in the dar-kest night.
If you see whats wrong and you try to make it right
You will be a point of light.
There are dreamers who are making dreams come true
Taking time to teach the children theres nothing they cant do.
Giving shelter to the homeless giving hope to those without.
Isnt that what this lands all about.
One by one form the mountains to the sea points of light
Are calling out to you and me
All it takes is a point of light a ray of hope in the dar-kest night.
If you see whats wrong and you try to make it right
You will be a point of light.

How Do You Measure Up?
If you measure yourself by ambition,
There will always be someone more ambitious than you.
If you measure yourself by money,
There is always someone wealthier than you.
If you measure yourself by power,
There is always someone more powerful than you.
If you measure yourself with material things,
There is always someone with more stuff than you.
If you measure yourself by where you are in life,
There is always someone farther down the path than you.
If you measure yourself by appearance,
There is always someone that appears than you.
If you measure yourself by God,
Then we are all the same.
We are all wonderfully and beautifully made.
God is love.
And love has no end.
So in God's heart,
You will always measure up!

Infinitely
The hounds of despair, the hounds of the autumnal wind,
Gnaw with their howling the black echoes of evenings.
The darkness, immensely, gropes in the emptiness
For the moon, seen by the light of water.
From point to point, over there, the distant lights,
And in the sky, above, dreadful voices
Coming and going from the infinity of the marshes and planes
To the infinity of the valleys and the woods.
And roadways that stretch out like sails
And pass each other, coming unfolded in the distance, soundlessly,
While lengthening beneath the stars,
Through the shadows and the terror of the night.

There's More Where That Came From
I had forgotten just what love felt like
And in that motel room, all my senses came to life
All the passion in his touch
And I knew I could, never get enough
But the worst part of doing what I never should have done
Is that I know, there's more where that came from
In the darkness, there's a distance as I lie here every night
And I beg the Lord, please won't you get this cheatin' off my mind
But then he'll call to say, that he sure had fun
Just so I'll know, there's more where that came from
My guilty conscience can't kill my heart's desire
Just like a drop of rain can't put out a raging fire
Oh, the price I'm paying now
Is a secret that I'm forced to carry around
But the worst part of doing what I never should have done
Is that I know, there's more where that came from
In the darkness, there's a distance as I lie here every night
And I beg the Lord, please won't you get this cheatin' off my mind
And then he'll call to say, that he sure had fun
Just so I'll know, there's more where that came from
Yes, I'm afraid, there's more where that came from.

From the Depth of Eternal
From the Depth of Eternal
By: Adam M. Snow
From the depth of eternal
where I dare lay;
I long for that which darkness covers.
I search myself, night and day;
and I but a ghost who hovers.

What Conclusion Was Left?
The seizure,
volatile it was,
the way to tell, for the things
he did not want to say.
You suffer silently.
Coming to boiling point,
for the starkness of the torture.
The abridged wholeness was empty.
Only howling remained.
Can you measure the pain?
The depth of the wound?
Start the dialogue with the unseen?
The flame protected in the folds
of a primeval skill,
now singes the clarity.
Between you and I no space was left.

Who Can Measure?
Who can measure?
The pungent pleasure,
Avarice, wrath and rage,
Of the blood lickers.
Who can measure?
The depth of shrieks,
Of the bleeding humanity;
The loudness,
Of the exploding shells;
The blackness,
Of the mushrooms rising;
The callousness,
Of the rulers,
The passive spectators,
Waiting for their turn,
And encroaching doom.

How Did You Get Here?
The good news?
We are not that close to the bottom,
As expected.
The bad news?
We are not that close to the bottom,
As expected.
'So...
Where are we?
And why is that both good and bad news? '
Not knowing where you are can be motivating.
Forgetting who you are and how you got there,
Is total darkness.
That's where ignorance will leave you,
In total darkness!
'So...
What does that have to do with anything? '
Turn off your flashlight!
'I will be in darkness.'
How did you get here?
'I followed you! '
And you believed I knew what I was doing?
With loss of light and without eye contact?

The Night Drippings
In that darkness
some colours brightened
some minds blackened
The night as ever
is dripping blood.
Where?
Somewhere or other
between the poles
How much?
At dawn you can
measure by gallons.
Why?
I’m as dumb
as the dead at the night.

How much I love you
Only God knows how deep
my feelings for you go
and sometimes it’s difficult
to tell you.
How do you say
that’s how much
I care for you,
if there’s nothing
to measure it against.
Ridiculous it may sound,
but at times
words fail me.
.
It’s you, it’s you that I cherish
are words from somebody else
and for me it’s only singularly you
and no other
that I truly want to love much more.
How can you know
exactly what part of you,
your darling loves
and what causes
somebody to adore you?
Or is it something deeper
and much more
that binds people together
and cause that the I and me and you
together becomes us?
Sometimes you ask me to say
how much I love you
and I wonder against what,
must I measure it for you.
Can anybody somewhere gather
all the water of the sea
and give size and depth to it.
Who can catch the wind
and hang words on it,
or really determine
the extent of the sun
and moon and stars
Where must I find words
to say what the extent is,
of that which lies between us.
All that I know
Is that depth and size
of my feelings for you,
are totally unfantomable.

Natural Light
There is nothing wrong in seeing life,
From your perspective and point of view.
That has never been a question I presented to you.
I just have questions why you should have a need,
To constantly borrow my flashlight.
By now your decision to live in darkness,
Seems to be something you are not familiar with.
Or one you are trying to pretend,
Makes more sense than the one I have chosen.
The one I am comfortable in.
And I am to be convinced...
Your way of life is right and envied?
And for you makes tremendous sense?
And you tell me I'm the one in need of therapy?
If I am going to have shadows around me...
The sun is going to be above.
Natural light.
Nothing I need to borrow.
Or discuss its value...
As I stumble around to find my way.
I've done that.
Charading then in masquerade.
No one could tell me I was not fabulous.
A breath of fresh air.
But the staleness of my routine helped me to awaken.
You still have not arrived.
And that's okay.
Either you will...
Or you will kill yourself!

Distance Between
The rays of light, first past night
A rooster of a red ball dawn
Penetrating my space making place
In my mind, my heart, and soul
Got a messenger on my mail
Saying you have a point to nail
The distance between shadow thin
And in silence you assailed
Oh no! for there is no assuramce
Between bookends afterglow
On a sea of promisses drowned
in revenge
The required 1% was not evident
Blood drawn and sacrifice be made
To please foul reasoning
Your embryo was to the point inbred
Now as afternought was hollow grave
As you lay love's carcass down
Cover it with Time's waste words
Of distance that was shadow thin
