Passion Takes Flight

Walk any crowded city street
See vacant stares on a sea of faces
How stiff they walk on frozen feet
Of long forgotten social graces

Is passion within human hearts gone
As far as knowing eyes can see?
Love and joy no longer paragon
'Lord', why won’t they look at me?

Your passion Vincent helps them find wings
As paint on canvas did so long ago
Lovely are the words your paintings sing
As if by magic, vivid flowers seem to grow

Soon, God’s Hands shall touch hearts again
Of long forgotten buried and the walking dead
Made afresh what was once arcane
The Will of God shall once more embed

Countless souls shall launch an upward flight
None shall rest, until they reach Eternal Light

The Skylark's Message

SWEET little upturned faces,
Poor little hands and feet,
Little eyes that are careworn and anxious
From hunger and want in the street,
Hear ye that skylark singing
5
Like an angel far away?
'Tis bringing to you a message
From the Golden Gates of day.
Ah, little know ye of the meadows,
Poor little blistered feet,
10
Down in the smoke of the city,
Down in the noise of the street!
But it sings of a better country,
Where tired little hearts can rest;
Of a sun that shines for ever,
15
And the love of a Father's breast.
O poor little weary spirits,
I would that ye knew its song,
For the world is very heartless,
And your journey may be long;
20
And ye need such heavenly music
To cheer you in the night,
Little hearts that are now so noble,
Little souls that are now so white.
I would that ye heard it always,
25
That sweet bird's voice within,
When the heart is sad and lonely
In the long, long struggle with sin;
Till a rest comes out of the sunset
For the labouring hands and feet,
30
And a silence has fallen for ever
On the noise and the dust of the street.

Wake Me Up When September Ends by Greenday

I walk a lonely road
The only one that I have ever known
Don't know where it goes
But it's only me to me and I walk alone

I walk this empty street
On the Boulevard of broken dreams
When the city sleeps
And I'm the only one and I walk alone

I walk alone
I walk alone
I walk alone
I walk alone

My shadow's the only one that walks beside me
My shallow hearts the only thing that's beating
Sometimes I wish someone out there will find me
'Til then I walk alone

Ah-Ah Ah-Ah Ah-Ah Ahhh-Ah
Ah-Ah Ah-Ah Ah-Ah

I'm walking down the line
That divides me somewhere in my mind
On the border line of the edge
And where I walk alone

Read between the lines of what's
Fucked up and everything's all right
Check my vital signs to know I'm still alive
And I walk alone

I walk alone
I walk alone
I walk alone
I walk alone

My shadow's the only one that walks beside me
My shallow hearts the only thing that's beating
Sometimes I wish someone out there will find me

Maelstrom Of Memories

Walking down a street
where we lived many years ago,
the faces behind the doors
are not the same anymore.
As we walk, we look back
at a time that inherited our name.
Remembering the times there
in the maelstrom of memories
that come flooding back
to haunt us with faces
of that long ago.
Our head spins as we walk
stepping back into our yesterdays
with its happiness, sadness
and grief that came our way.
We stumble over things
we had forgotten long ago
as we are overtaken
in a maelstrom of memories.

Where Is My Passion

Where is my passion
Far too much pain

Where is my passion
Must I love in vain?

Where is my passion
I need must know

Where is my passion
I want so much to grow

Where is my passion
Lost in your lips

Where is my passion
I feel for your kiss

Where is my passion
Lost in your eyes

Where is my passion
Release me to fly

Where is my passion
There in your hands

Where is my passion
Touch me…expand

Where is my passion
Please…be a man

I No Longer Sing The Songs Of Societal Significance

i no longer sing your songs of societal significance
i have forgotten them

honestly, i do not remember a word
i cannot even hum the tune of your songs of protest
(our songs)
against the government, honestly, i do not like them anymore
even if i remember

all i remember are unnecessary, premature, untimely deaths
of friends
of our self-made revolutions when we were so young and full

of idealism
in our hearts
now i dim
like a dying light

tempted by the shining sun of new rules and
the philosophy of
mature contentment

i no longer climb your mountains, i no longer walk the long walks
on dark nights, passing the snake rivers
and gorilla forests and monkey trees and slippery fins of fish
and eels and
eagles,

i no longer have your callous feet
i cannot remember you

you ask me
if i love you still, i cannot remember, i have none of your bravery

honestly,
i have become this coward cloud, raining
regrets

the peace that i do not deserve
the hiding

in open places, without a name, without a trace,
mouth shut, tongue clipped,

and then you walk away

Lovely One

Lovely one,
Just as on the cool stone
Of the spring, the water
Opens a wide flash of foam,
So is the smile of your face,
Lovely one.

Lovely one,
With delicate hands and slender feet
Like a silver pony,
Walking, flower of the world,
Thus I see you,
Lovely one.

Lovely one,
With a nest of copper entangled
On your head, a nest
The coloUr of dark honey
Where my heart burns and rests,
Lovely one.

Lovely one,
Your eyes are too big for your face,
Your eyes are too big for the earth.

There are countries, there are rivers,
In your eyes,
My country is your eyes,
I walk through them,
They light the world
Through which I walk,
Lovely one.

Lovely one,
Your breasts are like two loaves made
Of grainy earth and golden moon,
Lovely one.

Lovely one,
Your waist,
My arm shaped it like a river when
It flowed a thousand years through your sweet body,
Lovely one.

Lovely one,
There is nothing like your hips,
Perhaps earth has
In some hidden place
The curve and the fragrance of your body,
Perhaps in some place,
Lovely one.

Lovely one, my lovely one,
Your voice, your skin, your nails,
Lovely one, my lovely one,
Your being, your light, your shadow,
Lovely one,
All that is mine, lovely one,
All that is mine, my dear,
When you walk or rest,
When you sing or sleep,
When you suffer or dream,
Always,
When you are near or far,
Always,
You are mine, my lovely one,
Always.

In Search For The Beating Heart

words break on cobblestone paths,
as bare feet testify.
hearts spill from fugitive ashtrays,
while thumbs stand in line to pray.
damned souls with railroad faces,
shuffle by the barrel.
small babies paint their faces with ashes,
dogs crow, and fences stutter.
bodies cling to scattered dirt,
messages written on dirty windows.
if it is for this that god expressed,
then let the funeral begin!

how far we walk in search of near!
at each scent of identity we shudder.
even water burns in this wasteland,
and robins walk on broken eggshells.
there be no tongue that is not lit,
as frost scorches the pilgrim's eyes.
if love then breathes it sweats and growls,
while pencils claim their souls.
the very sky rent with passion,
this madness lifts the cup....
these lips melt with hunger unrestrained,
in search for the beating heart!

The Long Road

And I wished for so long cannot stay
All the precious moments cannot stay
It's not like wings have fallen cannot stay
But still something's missing I cannot say yea
Holding hands are daughters and sons
And their faiths are falling down down down down
I have wished for so long
How I wish for you today

Will I walk the long road the long road
Cannot stay the long road
There's no need to say goodbye say goodbye
All the friends and family
All the memories going round round round
I have wished for so long
How I wish for you today

And the wind keeps roarin'
And the sky keeps turning grey
And the sun is setting
The sun won't rise another day

I have wished for so long
How I wish for you today
I have wished for so long
How I wish for you today
Will I walk the long road
We all walk the long road
Will I walk the long road
We all walk the long road
Will I walk the long road
Will I walk the long road
We all walk the long road
Will I walk the long road
We all walk the long road
Will I walk the long road

Walking Man

Moving in silent desperation
Keeping an eye on the holy land
A hypothetical destination
Say, who is this waliking man?
Well, the leaves have come to turning
And the goose has gone to fly
And bridges are for buning
So dont you let that yearning
Pass you by
Walking man, walking man walks
Well, any other man stops and talks
But the walking man walks
Well the frost is on the pumpkin
And the hay is in the barn
An pappys come to rambling on
Stumbling around drunk
Down on the farm
And the walking man walks
Doesnt know nothing at all
Any other man stops and talks
But the walking man walks on by
Walk on by
Most everybodys got seed to sow
It aint always easy for a weed to grow, oh no
So he dont hoe the row for no one
Oh for sure hes always missing
And something is never quite right
Ah, but who would want to listen to you
Kissing his existence good night
Walking man walk on by my door
Well, any other man stops and talks
But not the walking man
Hes the walking man
Born to walk
Walk on walking man
Well now, would he have wings to fly
Would he be free
Golden wings against the sky
Walking man, walk on by
So long, walking man, so long

One, Two, One... For You

the dust in the empty pockets
of the poor man,
walking home from work.
the plowed field just planted,
at the feet of sun and rain.
the simple house built by hand,
lifetimes written into the walls.
the last touch, the last kiss,
the moment never forgotten....

hearts wrapped in hearts,
live and die as one...
one set of footprints,
one name on the stone.
one set of wings,
one fire, one clap of thunder.
two words spoken, two empty vases.
one heart, one hawk flying,
two hands times two,
one dream!
two sparrows part,
one nest, and one tree!
two sides, two faces...
one memory!

My Childhood Hero

Caught a glimpse of my childhood hero
As he strutted along the path today.
He created pictures from words,
Made this world come alive, with
A magic that was never matched.

As he swaggered past me today
He looked old, tired and grey
Flashes of songs, floated cross my mind,
Stirring long forgotten memories
Made by the man I saw today, long, long ago.

There was a touch of aged slowness in,
The walk of the man I called my childhood hero,
What had happened to the man I remember
As invincible and beyond question
In that childhood world of mine?

And then I saw a wink and a twinkle
A spark of dancing magic and
A mischievous glint
In the icy blueness of the eyes
Of the man I called my childhood hero.

Time Travelers of Darkness

Outside the court house there is a photo
A picture of three only it isn't three
Outside there wakens one in the canyon
Who sees the sun in the light of your eyes

Standing in your tower you return
century after century
Time traveler from the depths of terror
Your legacy is yours alone

And when they walk to the road and see
There can't be another so beautiful
But the planned and the deemed are free
And the smirks on the faces of the wise
Will give their hollow hearts away every time

Don't tell too much or else you will be walking
Back down that devils canyon into the abyss
And that long road to nowhere is a road well traveled
For the souls of darkness of the father of the son
Of the father of the son Of the father of the son …..

The clock it is broken and so is one so lovely
Time is all wrong and can't speak for itself.
Only those who sleep will ever see how time flies
And when you have escaped the limits of time
Your soul also shall walk down that lonely canyon

Just walking, no talking, of the father and of the son…
Sleeping now their anger is no longer free to walk the earth
The girls are finally free, the girls are finally safe.
Fly free little doves of darkness, and little doves of light….
Never to return to the canyon of darkness, the canyon of light..

This verse is a bizarre one indeed
And the words of the message
are finally freed.

But the one who would revel
At the message it tells
Is wandering in the darkness of
His own personal hell..
And forever shall be...

Three Words

Three laconic words I love you enshroud
The hearts of those of dead love
Angels whom hide behind love's cloud
Below here on earth from up above
Each line a line in their ivory dipped wings
I love you I love you captivate
Thine hearts of hearts the angels sing
As our hearts draw close and gravitate
Dead words in dead song the poet grieves
At the grave of love of dead grizzled white
To resurrect thee with I love you he believes
In love, every love, love at first sight
As the clouds, separate and light shine through
All hearts eyes gaze and learn
It's true, it's true
In the words I love you we burn….

I Believe in Love Eternal

I am an old man and even an older soul that's been around many life times. I will find the one that will make my journey complete so I won't have to do this forever endlessly. We are here to meet each other many times over and correct the problems/mistakes we have encountered and lessons not yet learned. I hope I have learned all I need to learn to pass on to pure energy and remain till all ascends.

I Believe In Love Eternal
Written by Wilfred Charles Mellers Tuesday, August 19,2008

The meeting of two souls is what’s important
To find oneself is of the utmost significances
Reaching out to seize the moment when you find someone
Boundaries not known race, shape, creed, or color
Statures slender, petite, voluptuous, doesn’t matter
The body is nothing more than the souls vessel

Always growing founder for love is eternal
Magic happens when you find one another
Once in a lifetime it only happens
Do we hold back what we feel due to social stereotypes
Do we pursue with a vengeance the love of each other for life

All things relative for love crosses space and time
In a human shell life is energy enclosed and refined
Loving souls will meet always again
Specific gender souls are not rendered
Colors, creed, and cultures souls cross
For that purpose we are all here
To love and be loved in return

Greater than love there’s nothing
Like a ton of bricks when love hits
Eternity seen at a glance in each other’s eyes
The gates of heaven are flung open to embrace us inside
The world now seems a new

I’ve gone around many times I’ve been told
Patiently waiting for my love to have and to hold
Recognizing my true love in a crowd I could never pass
A sparkle in my old eyes and a gleam overcomes at last

A wasted life without passion is
A crime without love life is
A squandered life without loves intimacy
No life at all without living inside your love

I have been to many places
I have had so many, many faces
I have been far to many races
I’ve search through the depths of time
For the love of my life once more I’ll find
I will not rest until I make you mine

Coming back looking for you I have been
Through the centuries for your love to win
I will search till the end of days and time
Until I finally make you mine
All withstanding for the greater powers
The days are long and so my sunlight hours
My love for you is never ending
These words for you I will always be sending
I’ve been longing to hold love so true
Come find me for I have been waiting so long for you

P.S.

Walk good and never be afraid of the rain for God is in the rain.
One love
Blessed

Riding On The Wings Of A Butterfly

i walk the dream
where the street
breathes in the shadow
of moon-light,
the lovers night.

oh, sweet love
long time coming
longer time whispering
us free.

i sing your eyes
as willows
stretching into
the ever passing winds

i speak the words of my heart
i sing the songs of my dreams
i see in the water
your image
and it’s true...

as i ride on the wings of the butterfly,
i offer you a rose, if given the chance.

Hearts Made Of Feet!

and so we struggle,
turning in the womb,
choked by the cord.
conceived in darkness,
becoming light!

we are hearts made of feet,
feet that walk the path.
feet that slip and fall,
feet that take the wrong turn.
feet that keep on walking,
sore, tired, hurting.
feet of desire, and purpose,
feet of soulful intent!

all the great philosophies
come to this...
feet that only stop walking
to bandage other feet;
then walk together,
leaving one set of prints!

What Have They Done To Me

What have they done to me
To the air that I breathe and all I see
Diseased and abused and alone
Tell me what have they done to me
They took everything I had
And crushed it all into dust
Erased all my names so I would seem
So lost
So lost
So lost
I pulled myself from my woman
To wander through the night
I'm a long, long way from emptiness
So step aside
Am I to feel alive
Am I to feel alive
Am I to feel alive
But I nearly died
Am I to see the light
Am I to see the light
But I cried
For so long
So long
What have they done to me
To the birds that sing, yeah the simple things
I held all my curses
I can't seem to rest
But it's alright
It's alright
They took from me all that one could take
My children
My loves
My orchards of tears
It's all been borrowed so we must say
They sit in the kingdom of light
And now you know how one can be
As free as one could wanna be
Cause time won't let you walk away
Time won't let you be afraid
So don't be afraid
For too long
Too long
Am I to walk alone
Am I to walk alone
Am I to walk alone
But I nearly died
Am I to see the light
Am I to see the light
But I cried
Am I to walk alone
Am I to walk alone
Am I to walk alone
But I'm almost home
I might seem alive
I might seem alive
But I nearly died
I might seem alive
I might seem alive
I might seem alive
But I nearly died
Am I to walk alone
Am I to walk alone
Am I to walk alone
But I'm almost home
Yeah, I'm almost home
I might seem alive
I might seem alive
I might seem alive
But I nearly died
Yeah, I nearly died
So long
