It's alright to dance, laugh, play, sing..

Let loose your hair in the wind, really, it's no sin.
Appreciate..
Embrace the arts.
I think of flesh and beautiful things.
I wish to live and love someone who loves me for who I am,
The true me.
You, too, can be a gypsy like me.
Fight the constraints that bind you.
They've been cutting into your
Wrists for a reason.
While you've had that false composure about you,
Secretly, you've been fighting everything
That binds you.
Learn to fly
Your landscape may change, bring about
Unfathomable things.

Regrets

I have done things wrong,
I will never forget.
But I cannot live,
A life of regret.

I am not a bad person.
But I have done bad things.
When a guitar gets broken,
You can change it's strings.

Life can be a song.
You can choose to dance.
Or you can sit in a corner.
And not take a chance.

It can be an adventure.
It can just be mundane.
You can dress it all up.
Or just leave it plain.

You can live for the moment.
You can live in the past.
You can live for tomorrow.
Or all you've amassed.

You can live for it's gifts.
You can live for it's treasures.
You can live for it's pain.
Or live for it's pleasures.

You can live it for Jesus.
Or live it for you.
You can live it for everyone.
Or just for a few.

And when it all,
Comes to an end.
Will you feel it's been true?
Or just been pretend.

Will you feel like you gave it,
Gave it your best.
Or did just what you had to.
Like all of the rest.

Did you make a difference?
Or did you blend in.
Did you look forward to where you were going?
Or stuck where you'd been?

Did you take life by the horns?
Or did it take you?
When things got real tough?
Just what did you do?

Did you sit in a corner?
Did you mope, did you cry?
Did you simply give up?
Did part of you die?

Did you fight the good fight?
Did you give it your best?
Did you go through your journey?
And complete your quest.

So live for the moment.

Edge of Insanity

Tortured eyes...I can't see
as my soul burns in a flame
of cold misery
darkness in a land
that you can't tame
who am I to blame
for not feeling the same

Look at my life through a mirror
I see a lonely face
so full of disgrace
but that's not me
in my reflection
he's grown so colder
filling his heart with hate
at the images
of what it use to be

Things are so much clearer
touch me..I feel no affection
as this pain gets nearer
to the edge of insanity

I use to be the man
able to stand tall
and make a stand
like the hero in the night
would'nt give in without a fight

Now these walls are closing in
coming down all around me
my mind can't break free
from this world full of madness
oh, should I live in shame
to take away my sadness

Like lightning
thunder rolls across the sky
my heart pumps blood
so full of anger
that runs through my veins
like a wild child of genocide
think it's too late
to save me from what's inside

I wake from this dream
as I try to scream
while I stood there to watch
it all fall before me
with a demon of suicide
just laugh and take my pride
here on the edge of insanity

my soul is trapped

Everyday I walk with a frown

I just want to be free
And live my life the way it used to be

Mum I'm happy you are there to help me through life
And that is true I don't have to think twice

Mum my whole life went down the drain
Ever since I went to court
And went through all of that pain.......

I wish I could go back
And walk through life on different tracks

Mum freedom doesn't come free
Especially for me

Mum I have committed many sins
But I have to stay strong
In my life I haven't seen many grins
But I'll be strong no matter how long

I still have a lot to learn
No matter how much my heart burns

Mum I'm sorry for all of the fights
Especially the ones that lasted all night

Mum my life is surrounded by a shell
There are not many things I can do

I don't know if you can tell
But I'm not taking it very well

Mum I just want to tell you
That I'm sorry for all the hell I put you through
And I want you to remember that........
