It Isn't Enough
One paramount truth
our society smothers
in petty concern
with position and pelf:
It isn't enough
to exasperate others;
you've got to remember
to gladden yourself.

Low Society
A judge a dentist or physician
In this low society
Trade ambition for position
In this low society
Have you heard its in the stars
Next july we collide with mars
Have you heard it in the bars
In this low society
No more pay and lots of leisure
In this low society
Low society
Im just doing what I can
In this low society
But Im an incidental man
In this low society
I give away what others sell
The secrets yours so never tell
cos if you do youll go to hell
Low society
Side by side and always tired
All for one and no-one hired
All thats left is love inspired
Low society
And when the party is complete
And youre still standing on your feet
The taste of victory is sweet
Low society
And darling dont forget
In this low society
To turn off your t.v. set
In this low society
The most important thing at all
In this low society
Is not to stand too tall
In this low society
In this world that never learns
I can see rome as it burns
All the passion and the power
Turns to ash within an hour
No more play and no more pleasure
In this low society

For survivability
Hunters have no concern
For the forest they hunt from.
Farmers have much concern
For the field they plough in.
Treat the society as farm land.

What they did was to make a pilot and it may well go to series at the next festival but I don't have any news on that. It's already been on Paramount actually, but as it's on Paramount it'll probably be on several more times... hopefully.
The Ghost
Down the street as I was drifting with the city's human tide,
Came a ghost, and for a moment walked in silence by my side --
Now my heart was hard and bitter, and a bitter spirit he,
So I felt no great aversion to his ghostly company.
Said the Shade: `At finer feelings let your lip in scorn be curled,
`Self and Pelf', my friend, has ever been the motto for the world.'
And he said: `If you'd be happy, you must clip your fancy's wings,
Stretch your conscience at the edges to the size of earthly things;
Never fight another's battle, for a friend can never know
When he'll gladly fly for succour to the bosom of the foe.
At the power of truth and friendship let your lip in scorn be curled --
`Self and Pelf', my friend, remember, is the motto of the world.
`Where Society is mighty, always truckle to her rule;
Never send an `i' undotted to the teacher of a school;
Only fight a wrong or falsehood when the crowd is at your back,
And, till Charity repay you, shut the purse, and let her pack;
At the fools who would do other let your lip in scorn be curled,
`Self and Pelf', my friend, remember, that's the motto of the world.
`Ne'er assail the shaky ladders Fame has from her niches hung,
Lest unfriendly heels above you grind your fingers from the rung;
Or the fools who idle under, envious of your fair renown,
Heedless of the pain you suffer, do their worst to shake you down.
At the praise of men, or censure, let your lip in scorn be curled,
`Self and Pelf', my friend, remember, is the motto of the world.
`Flowing founts of inspiration leave their sources parched and dry,
Scalding tears of indignation sear the hearts that beat too high;
Chilly waters thrown upon it drown the fire that's in the bard;
And the banter of the critic hurts his heart till it grows hard.
At the fame your muse may offer let your lip in scorn be curled,
`Self and Pelf', my friend, remember, that's the motto of the world.
`Shun the fields of love, where lightly, to a low and mocking tune,
Strong and useful lives are ruined, and the broken hearts are strewn.
Not a farthing is the value of the honest love you hold;
Call it lust, and make it serve you! Set your heart on nought but gold.
At the bliss of purer passions let your lip in scorn be curled --
`Self and Pelf', my friend, shall ever be the motto of the world.'
Then he ceased and looked intently in my face, and nearer drew;
But a sudden deep repugnance to his presence thrilled me through;
Then I saw his face was cruel, by the look that o'er it stole,
Then I felt his breath was poison, by the shuddering of my soul,
Then I guessed his purpose evil, by his lip in sneering curled,
And I knew he slandered mankind, by my knowledge of the world.
But he vanished as a purer brighter presence gained my side --
`Heed him not! there's truth and friendship
in this wondrous world,' she cried,
And of those who cleave to virtue in their climbing for renown,
Only they who faint or falter from the height are shaken down.
At a cynic's baneful teaching let your lip in scorn be curled!
`Brotherhood and Love and Honour!' is the motto for the world.'

Life and human society are the chief concern of Confucianism and, through it, the chief concern of the Chinese people.
Petty People
Petty People...
Could care less if they are petty.
That's who and what they are.
Constantly seeking the center of attention,
Addressing petty issues
Most people wouldn't mention!
And having a way to nip and tug.
Much like what a little dog does.
Snapping and barking at the slightest little thing.
Petty people...
Exploding their mini volcanic 'tops'
Just to shoot off itsy bitsy lava drops!
That's all those petty people really got!
With their poked out lips...
Like children a closed ear often ignores a lot!

Two thousand years of male society,
Smoke-filled land of the rising sun.
History indicates that they're good for nothing,
Time has come for all male retirement.
It's time for women to show her true self,
With women soul and power let's open a new era.
Female-up, position banzai,
Female-up, position banzai.
Two thousand years of male society,
Mah-jong ridden land of the rising sun.
History shows that they're good for nothing,
Time has come for female-up position.
It's time for women to show her true power,
With women soul and power let's open a new era.
Female-up, position banzai,
Female-up, position banzai.
Two thousand years of male society,
Violence-controlled land of the rising sun.
History shows that they're good for nothing,
Time has come for women's solidarity.
It's time for women to sing her true song,
With women soul and power let's create a new era.

Female-up, position banzai.

Don't You Find Yourself In An Odd Position?
Don't you find yourself in an odd position?
Remember,
It was years ago...
When you mentioned to me,
I could be a bank president...
If I chose to be?
And you went on to gain success in finance.
Only to find you and your position...
Assessed as being outdated and flat broke.
And even with your 'genius' mind...
You can't make a dollar worth more than a dime.
Don't you find yourself in an odd position?
Remember,
It was years ago...
When you mentioned to me,
I could be a bank president...
If I chose to be?
And I chose to see myself happy,
And free of sustained delusions.
And you?
Well...
I can not say,
You did not make your own choices.
You've got your title.
And I've got my life!
With a basicness only happiness,
Has fulfilled.
Don't you find yourself in an odd position?
If not...
You must have adopted fresh delusions.

The need to speak the truth and even to seek it for oneself is only conceivable in so far as the individual thinks and acts as one of a society, and not of any society … but of a society founded on reciprocity and mutual respect, and therefore on cooperation.

I remember your smell.. the sweet scent of musk.
I remember your sound.. High black boots, click, click click.
I remember your eyes... The look of concern.
I remember your passion... passing on your strengths
Oh Momma I remember and I miss you so.

Enjoing Life
The truth comes to me with so many mouths
so many colourful tongues
it jumps out from so many mirrors
so I'm confused
Do I have an option? !
Can I bargain a new truth, my own
Can I ignore all the other truths
You may certainly try
but are you prepared to pay the prize?
From my experience with the history
Any new truth was borne in a blood bath
As far as I am concern
Establishing that truth is only a convention
I choose to free myself by
Living
Enjoying life truth by truth

Never let go
Never let go my love,
We came so far,
Yet reaching so near,
They say its petty,
You and i know,
Fact and fabbles,
We growing together,
Never let go
The care and concern,
The passion of yours,
The affection and intimacy,
Could i be ever better,
Where else except here,
Never let go

Ladys Aid Society
In every little town and village too
Somewhere in the neighborhood
Youll find a little band of ladies who
Cant stop doing good
Good for the pigeons in the park
Good for the weekly tea
Good for the national bank where they keep their treasury
Were the ladies aid society
And were really a great bunch of girls
Were the ladies aid society
And soon well take over the world
Here they come marching down the street
Witgh their picket signs in hand
With their blue and white pleated uniforms
And their all girl five-piece band
Down with long haired singing groups
Down with the mayor too
And if you;re under 65 theyre down on you
Were the ladies aid society
And we just want to sell you the truth
Were the ladies aid society
And its time we clamp down on the youth
Were the ladies aid society
And were really a great bunch of girls
Were the ladies aid soicety
And soon well take over the world
Were the ladies aid society
And we just want to sell you the truth
Were the ladies aid society
And its time we clamp down on the youth

Hold Your Position (Stones)
Now here comes the great musical thing called "hold your position"
Rasta, them style ya a just levelment Uncle seen
Hold me position, Just a hold me position
I ya, hold me position, just a hold me position
Go on, hold me position, just a hold me position
Just like Jesus Christ in the valley of decision
Devil come along and tru to deceive man through him
Got him plan from the older one
Him had to hold him position, had to hold him position yeh
Hold him position, had to hold him position
Well rhythm like this makes me and me daughter
Go down at the dance, bubble on the corner
When the rhythm is sweet, we a go hold tighter
Rub-adub like this makes you go one
So you hold your position
Say you hold you position aya
Hold your position, say hold your position
Things and time was a getting slow let off the rhythm
Let the good time roll
Don't bother go a slow and stay a back row
I man come to make the rhythm
Just a rock and flow, because me hold me position
Just a hold me position
Special request to 39 Acker Tree, Frontline, everyman on Kime
UB40 say come and rhyme
Yes, Daddy Stone, me in the dance hall style
So we really come to make it versatile
Because one of a kind we come to blow your mind
So you should hold you position
Yes, hold your position, aya
Hold your position, hold your position
Hold Your Position (cont'd) Stones
Skank steady, Skank Steady
I tell you rock the rhythm
You should skank down steady
You know you say, it heavier than lead
Kinda tougher than tough
You know that Jah, Jah covers
Since he stands over us
So hold your position
Hold your position
Move to the east, and you could a move to the west
Lyrics like this Jab know never go jest
Say chunk ice water say right to your chest
Intercity, outer city everywhere the best you better
Hold you position, just hold your position
Hold you position, say hold your position
Well rhythm like this is really so hot
Let off the vilse because a legal shot
Because we hold our position
Yes, we hold our position aya
Hold our position yes, hold our position
Hold on tight never let go
Tee, ta, tee, say them all in a row
Donkey want water, you should hold him
Joe hold on tight and never let go
Hold your position, just hold your position
Hold your position a ya, just hold your position
Wah dat, hold your position
I say hold your position settle hold your position John
Hold you position Aunty, hold your position
Say hold your position go on
Hold your position, tell them rhythm so crucial
Rhythm so nice like sugar, like a spice
Cause when we a come a dance give you rough, nough, choice
A youth like me should a drive Rolls Royce
Sugar my tea baby, you're irie thought the two of us
Will go to bed cosy
Just a hold me position, hold me position

Secret Society
When we were young they would break our hearts
You and I had to go undercover
We knew in time we would be pulled apart
We found a way we could hold on to each other
Gave our souls to another world
Sealed in blood with a sacred vow
Now weve forgotten but beneath all this
A part of you and me is still there now
Go on and sing
Go on and dance
Itll all come back if you just give it a chance
Dont you remember me?
We had a secret society
Refresh your memory
We were the secret society
I never see you in the waking world
We make an effort to avoid each other
But every night we penetrate the veil
Where everybody acts like sister and brother
You never speak the words in broad daylight
Theyre much too delicate and too naive
But everybodys been a witness sometime
It doesnt change it if you dont believe
So go on and sing
Go on and dance
Someday soon youll hear that little bell ring
And youll remember me
We have a secret society
Not just a memory
We are the secret society
Youve got to come with me
Youre in the secret society
Until eternity
We are the secret society (its no secret)

Don’t disgrace the work
Don’t disgrace the work
‘O’ dad, please leave this petty job.
He was a Gardner, who flies the birds to save fruits from them.
‘O’ my son always remember that no work is small of big.
Several bricks are bound to go in the foundation
Only few reaches on the top of the building.
Efforts of a soldier and commander have equal significance.
Their best efforts are essential for the success.
Every men could not be the manager.
For the development of the society
Every type of work is necessary.
So, please don’t disgrace the work.
