The sentiments apparent
The lightness of approach
The tresses of caresses.
Without worry or suspicion
Your eyes confide in what they see
Seen by what they gaze at.
Confidence of crystal
Between two mirrors
At night your eyes are lost
To fuse waking to desire.

Une nuit que j'étais près d'une affreuse Juive (On Night I Lay With A Frightful Jewess)
One Night I Lay with a Frightful Jewess
One night I lay with a frightful Jewess,
Like a cadaver stretched out beside a cadaver,
And I began to muse, by that peddled body,
About the sad beauty my desire forgoes.
I pictured to myself her native majesty,
Her gaze with power and with grace endowed,
The hair which forms for her a perfumed casque,
And whose souvenir awakens love's desire.
For I would fervently have kissed your fair body
And spread out the treasure of soulful caresses
From your cool feet up to your tresses black,
If, some night, with a tear evoked without effort
You could only, queen of cruel women!
Soften the brilliancy of your cold eyes.
— Translated by William Aggeler
One Night When, near a Fearful Jewess Lying
One night when, near a fearful Jewess lying,
As one corpse by another corpse, I sprawled —
Beside the venal body I was buying,
The beauty that was absent I recalled.
I pictured you in native majesty
With glances full of energy and grace,
Your hair, a perfumed casque, whose memory
Revives me for the amorous embrace,
For madly I'd have kissed your noble frame,
And from your cool feet to your great black tresses,
Unleashed the treasure of profound caresses,
If with a single tear that gently came
You could have quenched, O queen of all the cruel!
The blazing of your eyes, their icy fuel.
— Translated by Roy Campbell
A Bed of Shame
One night I lay, a hideous Jewess at my side,
We were stretched out, corpse to like corpse, on my cold bed,
And all my thoughts, leaving this foul bought body, sped
To that sad beauty whom my own desire denied.
I pictured all her native majesty, her pride,
Her glance in all its force and grace and subtlety,
Her hair, a perfumed casque, and the mere memory
Rekindled my love's thirst, ever unsatisfied.
I would have kissed your queenly body fervently,
Spreading the treasures of my rapturous caresses
Upward from your cool feet to your warm onyx tresses,
If some night with a tear bestowed effortlessly
You could, O queen of cruel women, that I prize,
Obscure the glacial splendor of your scornful eyes.

Thats My Desire
(loveday / kresa)
To spend one night with you
In our rendezvous
And reminisce with you
Thats my desire
Oh woa woa woa
To go where gypsies play
Down in some dim cafe
And dance till break of day
Thats my desire
Oh woa woa woa
To sip a little glass of wine
And gaze into your eyes divine
To feel the touch of your lips
Pressing on mine
To hear you whisper low
Just when its time to go
Cheri, I love you so
Thats my desire
Oh woa woa woa
Thats my desire
Oh woa woa woa
Thats my desire

Gaze Into The Crystal
Gaze into the crystal
and tell me what you see within.
Is my future rosy,
will I have many friends?
Look into the crystal;
pray tell me what you see for me.
Am I going to be rich,
or am I to remain poor.
Will I be loved always
or is it just a dream?
Gaze into the crystal
and tell me what you see.
Look into the crystal
I beg you please.

Dante himself is open to the suspicion of partiality: it is said, not without apparent ground, that he puts into hell all the enemies of the political cause, which, in his eyes, was that of Italy and God.

My Eyes
As you gaze into my eyes
there is nothing I disguise.
You see desire, nothing more.
You see what love has in store.
As you gaze into my eyes
the only thing you'll realize
will be the love I have for you.
And then what is it you will do?
Close your eyes, shut them tight
or open them and see the sight
that holds you in a lover's spell
and captures the image of how you fell
in love?

Your Gaze Has Always Made A Difference
i wonder why your gaze makes
a lot of difference from all the gazes
i have seen in my lifetime
i look at you. I steal a moment to
look at you. I am not afraid. I am silent
about this gaze. It is true.
Your eyes are different. They speak
They sing a love song.
Not necessarily for me.
But i like it that way. For me.For me?
then you gaze at me. I pretend
I do not understand the language
of your eyelashes. They say,
why are you avoiding me?
Don't you know that my eyes
did not sleep last night because
you were there kissing my lips
in the metaphors dancing
in the ceiling?
I stop thinking. This cannot be.
How are we speaking in the midst
of this crowd without using
a word, or even a syllable?
I walk away. No, this cannot be.
This is strange. This is impossible.
Two gazes speaking a language
of their own. Saying: this is love.
This is desire. And the night is
waiting. It is short. It not demanding
in knowing a true name, or a place, or
a space in the future.
I close my eyes. I open them again.
I walk away. Now, I am tellling myself
I cannot hear you. I am safe.

I Believe My Own Eyes
As performed in the musical tommy
With alistair robins as mr. walker
Written by pete townsend
Alistair: this cant continue
It makes no sense
Were getting nowhere
Ive lost all my confidence
The boy wants something
Unsatisfied
He needs attention
And care our love cant provide
And then, theres the matter of us
Id like to prove
That I dont think youve seen the best of me
Ive stood up for the boy
And Ive clung to the hopes and the lies
I wished that the pain in your gaze
Could again be a test of me
But when I look in the mirror
I believe my own eyes
I believe my own eyes
Now Ive come to the end
All my patience is gone
When Im doubtful I tend
To believe my own eyes
Kim: Id like to declare
This devotion and care is a life to live
That nothing has changed
And the time isnt passing us by
But I have to say here
That for us there is a clear-cut alternative
When we look at eachother
We believe our own eyes
Both: I believe my own eyes
Now Ive come to the end
All my patience is gone
When Im doubtful I tend
To believe my own eyes
This has gone far enough
After all weve been through
We can be brave
We done all we can humanly do
Its a time to be tough
A time to be wise
We must stop chasing our dreams and recover our lives
I believe my own eyes
Now Ive come to the end
All my patience is gone
When Im doubtful I tend
To believe...
Id like to believe
But I dont think that weve seen the best of us
And a way to believe is to see where the real future lies
I hope that the pain in your gaze can again be a test of me
And when I look in the mirror
I believe my own eyes
Lets believe our own eyes
No weve come to the end
All our patience is gone
Lets admit we intend to believe our own eyes
Kim: ... to believe our own eyes

Mother Mine
Nevermore her sweet caresses
Nevermore her soft blue eyes.
Heaven-blown her ebon tresses,
Smiling lips I idolized.
Sing farewell, farewell forever,
Child of the wind-blown sea,
Tender heart and soul unfettered
Garlands in eternity.
Fleeting soul transcends the sparrows,
Soaring with the snow-white dove;
Sad of soul all my tomorrows,
Grieving for her purest love.
Sweetest voice a loving whisper
On the wings of memory.
Tender canticle of sisters,
Song of all maternity.
Child am I to my dear mother,
Evermore her child to be.
Child is she to yet another,
Sisters in eternity.
Envoi
Nevermore her sweet caresses
Nevermore her soft blue eyes.
Heaven-blown her ebon tresses.
Mother mine I eulogize.

Under Suspicion
(b. tyler/p. hopkins/p. oxendale)
Producer for bonnie: jim steinman
I put my trust in you cos Im not the suspicious kind
But it seems to me that theres someone on your mind
And maybe Im wrong and maybe theres some mistake
But I wont take any chances, Im watching every move you make
I never felt so scared and helpless before
I wish I could believe in you but I just gotta be sure
Youre under suspicion all of the time
Youre under suspicion all of the time
When we talk I can see you cant look me straight in the eye
Whats all the secrecy, you got me wondering why
Is it someone you met that could make you regret your decision
How could you forget all our plans and all our ambitions
Dont try to pull the wool right over my eyes
You think youre pretty smart but I can see right through your disguise
Youre under suspicion all of the time
Youre under suspicion all of the time
Instrumental
Youre under suspicion all of the time
Youre under suspicion all of the time
Youre under suspicion all of the time
Youre under suspicion
Instrumental
Youre under suspicion all of the time
Youre under suspicion all of the time

One night (Terzanelle)
One night I recalled
the picture of your majesty
where over me you sprawled
and the sweet memory
burns in me with energy and grace.
The picture of your majesty
revives the sweet embrace,
the treasured caresses
burns in me with energy and grace
and my eyes see your auburn tresses
and I still feel them against my cheek,
the treasured caresses
and kisses flowing over me as if from a creek,
tears of joy that gently came
and I still feel them against my cheek,
as a sign scrawled over my frame.
One night I recalled
tears of joy that gently came
where over me you sprawled.

Caramel
It's under his electric gaze
She
Begins to melt
Like Sugar
In a burning hot pan
Turning into caramel
It's the way his eyes linger
Over
Every
Little
Inch
Of her
That hunger
That makes her blood sing
Sizzle
Heats her from within
Lava in her veins
Dancing in delight
Making the warm summer breeze
Gently
Caressing her
Cold enough to cause goosebumps on her
Warm
Soft
Smooth
Skin
It's that look in his eyes
Like she's some delicious thing
That taste
You didn't know existed
Until
You tried it
Now
You crave it
Can't live without it
Want every time
To be like that first bite
It's that hunger
That reduces her to nothingness
Yet,
For that second
Makes her feel like his everything
Infects her with a power
She was not aware she possessed
Enchants her
Forces her to see herself through his eyes
After which
She only wishes to be seen by him
That gaze that lingers
Caresses her without so much a touch
That want
Desire
The igniting of that fire
The kick from the combustion
She feels deep within her
Pulses in her core
Sending waves of delight
Waves of heat which ignite everything they come in contact with
Her being
Consumed
Turning to caramel
Burning sugar
Melting quickly
That alchemy
Under his electric gaze.

The Prisoner
You have watched me, safe in your anonymity
I have dreamed you, held in your security
Some people believe a photograph traps your mortal soul
Your eyes were the camera and youve take hold
And you captured me
I need you to take control
I am a prisoner of no confidence
Youve entered me now make me whole
Every place I go I feel your lenses trained on me
This distant concentration takes away my energy
Your image burns its negative
Behind my waking eyes
Then the night comes and you stalk your prize
And you captured me
I need you to take control
I am a prisoner of no confidence
Youve entered me now make me whole
Some people believe a photograph traps your mortal soul
Your eyes were the camera and youve taken hold
And you captured me
I need you to take control
I am a prisoner of no confidence
Youve entered me now make me whole

My Sad Eyed Angel
You gaze at me
with your sad eyes
seemingly to be
as old as time
a dull but bright beauty
made of agonizing crystal
enough to make me cry
you look so scared
so painful
but i never want to change you
my sad eyed angel
gaze upon me
with honey orbs
the smile on your face doesnt match
there pools of sadness
oceans of agony
crashing in those eyes
and i get to see them everyday
my beautiful
sad eyed angel.

In the spirit of Rumi - 47 - A Confession of Love Withheld
Now with surprise and sadness, I have realised–
I do not love you as much as I thought…
When you are beside me
in the bed when I awake
I whisper with my waking breath
to your open or your sleeping eyes,
‘I love you’…and in that,
I find myself…
But when you are far away
my first involuntary waking thought
is not of you, or love, or God
Who guided me through the night,
Who taught me to enjoy
His great invention, sleep…
but of myself…
myself and world as two
and I am lost to myself…
and know, I have not yet
surrendered all my mind and will
to God…
O My Beloved
how can I love you fully, as God loves, when
I do not yet see God
in every waking moment
in myself?

The mirrors here
The mirrors here
They reflect my deep desire...
And what it aspire...
The mirrors are tears
The desire is rape, fears
But it always mirror...
Is that my wish today is you
Your smile, hot for a while
Same do not knowing if you do it too
I'm like a child, getting wild
The mirrors here
Are a glass cover
Making me over...
The mirrors are tears
The cover is cold, years
What makes me excited...
Is that my wish today is you
Your wisdom, your freedom
I trust in moon
I want to listen the flute, true
Don't run, I can't
The sun tears can hurt deep
Without I feel very weak
I know I'll never stand
Stay, Give me fondling
The moon trust in the power from lovers
So we could keep us touching
So, trusting, we could be under covers
The mirrors here
They reflect my deep desire...
And what it aspire...
The mirrors are tears
The desire is rape, fears
But it always mirror...

The Eyes Beyond
we have eyes
besides our eyes
that we see on us
the eyes that come alive
in the depth of the quiet night
when we know someone is
looking over us just nearby,
his focus ruffles that calmness
the ripple in the calm lake
our eyes meeting with
those invisible eyes
that send vibrations
through our soul
a synergy of mental energies
the eyes from beyond
that meet the eyes of my mind
could he be the almighty?
or the long lost loved ones?
i yearn for more sensors
to get closer to the owner
of those eyes that watch over
me in the middle of the night
those unseen eyes from beyond

We can gain no lasting peace if we approach it with suspicion and mistrust or with fear. We can gain it only if we proceed with the understanding, the confidence, and the courage which flow from conviction.

Jessie
When I remark her golden hair
Swoon on her glorious shoulders,
I marvel not that sight so rare
Doth ravish all beholders;
For summon hence all pretty girls
Renowned for beauteous tresses,
And you shall find among their curls
There's none so fair as Jessie's.
And Jessie's eyes are, oh, so blue
And full of sweet revealings--
They seem to look you through and through
And read your inmost feelings;
Nor black emits such ardent fires,
Nor brown such truth expresses--
Admit it, all ye gallant squires--
There are no eyes like Jessie's.
Her voice (like liquid beams that roll
From moonland to the river)
Steals subtly to the raptured soul,
Therein to lie and quiver;
Or falls upon the grateful ear
With chaste and warm caresses--
Ah, all concede the truth (who hear):
There's no such voice as Jessie's.
Of other charms she hath such store
All rivalry excelling,
Though I used adjectives galore,
They'd fail me in the telling;
But now discretion stays my hand--
Adieu, eyes, voice, and tresses.
Of all the husbands in the land
There's none so fierce as Jessie's.

Drunken Of Fatigue
as crystal eyes sway
they long for a dream
for a weary mind
is not quite sane enough for consiousness
the glass tear dropp pendulum
softly swings from an unsturdy hold
fate seems fantasy
in this breif moment of vacillate thinking
yet through complete uncertainty
a glimpse of you alerts me
with thoughts of love and somewhat desire
for i long to be entangled in your complex mind
swinging from every silk-soft thread
with these crystal eyes
fixed on the oceans inside yours
sweep me away
wrapping me with deep red satin
as our souls entertwine
and our hearts join together mending each other
lost in your soul my mind losses
it is defenseless to your power
this deep red romance in which no one of us leads
yet our bodies both lead on their own
tender lips meet mine sweet and intense
forever leaving this memory in our hearts
this deep red romance
our deep red satin romance
makes even swaying crystal eyes
steady themselves

An answer you have
Each coin has another side
The differences may be dominant and wide
We may try to overcome and not hide
There is need to solve and confide
Nothing is difficult and solution is possible
It can be made easy even though looked impossible
You must go deep into it and involve
You may have all he ability to resolve
We get bogged down with little hurdles
When it comes, it comes in abundance or in bundles
We loose the sight of goal and slip into uncertainty
Here comes your chance to prove the ability
Each individual has different approach and views
They may try differently to get their dues
Still basic angle and worry remains same
It can swing both the ways to bring name or shame
It is nice to tackle it brilliantly
The result can be brought instantly
The efforts have to be on continuously
You may have full confidence not to act as errorneuously
