Gaze Into The Crystal
Gaze into the crystal
and tell me what you see within.
Is my future rosy,
will I have many friends?
Look into the crystal;
pray tell me what you see for me.
Am I going to be rich,
or am I to remain poor.
Will I be loved always
or is it just a dream?
Gaze into the crystal
and tell me what you see.
Look into the crystal
I beg you please.

Crystal Ball
Written by tommy shaw
Lead vocals by tommy shaw
I used to like to walk the straight and narrow line
I used to think that everything was fine
Sometimes Id like to sit and gaze for days through sleepless dreams
All alone and trapped in time
All alone and trapped in time
I wonder what tomorrow has in mind for me
Or am I even in its mind at all
Perhaps Ill get a chance to look ahead and see
Soon as I find myself a crystal ball
Soon as I find myself a crystal ball
Tell me, tell me where Im going
I dont know where Ive been
Tell me, tell me, wont you tell me
And then tell me again
My heart is breaking, my bodys aching
And I dont know where to go
Tell me, tell me, wont you tell me
Ive just got to know
Crystal ball
Theres so many things I need to know
Crystal ball
Theres so many things Ive got to know
Crystal ball
[extra verse used occasionally live]
If you should see me walking
Through your dreams at night
Would you please direct me
Where I ought to be
Ive been looking for a crystal ball
To shed the light
To find a future in me...
To find a future in me...
Crystal ball
Theres so many things I need to know
Crystal ball
Theres so many things Ive got to know

Light Of Pure Life
Went to a shop to look at crystal lamps when my
eyes were caught by crystal lace fabrics perfect
for creating the beautiful gown I always dream
of, formed when I walk in the sea splashing
with my feet till sprays of crystal drops
cover me in silver white layers
I wondered how to make a dress from liquid crystal
to shimmer and shine wherever I went, now having
found the perfect crystal lace my dream is fulfilled –
though my book on Secret Tools for Six-Sensory
Living recommends seeking psychic healing
through the power of crystals
as the only dream worth cherishing; but a crystal
dress seems more attractive to me than people
who try to sell the psychic power of crystals -
only charlatans use these devices - I love
New Age ideas but without evidence of
their success, crystals remain
enchanting symbols representing the beauty,
clarity and light of pure life…

The Plough of Time
Night closed my windows and
The sky became a crystal house
The crystal windows glowed
The moon
shown through them
through the whole house of crystal
A single star beamed down
its crystal cable
and drew a plough through the earth
unearthing bodies clasped together
couples embracing
around the earth
They clung together everywhere
emitting small cries
that did not reach the stars
The crystal earth turned
and the bodies with it
And the sky did not turn
nor the stars with it
The stars remained fixed
each with its crystal cable
beamed to earth
each attached to the immense plough
furrowing our lives

Crystal Clear
How do you feel now? I want to know
Clear as crystal, I can see your face
In my glass of water, I can see your face
How do you feel know? I want to know
Does your love burn like a summer's day
Or is it still on hold in an ice cube tray?
Clear as crystal
How do you feel now? I want to know
Clear as crystal, I can see your face
In my glass of water? I can see your face
Winter has passed now, did you ever know?
Is your love forming like the springtime
Or is it still a snowdrop in the snow so fine?
Clear as crystal
Clear as crystal, I can see your face
In a glass of water, you can see your face
How do you feel know, I want to know
Now I can see you so crystal clear

They Will Cry
You cant see the future
When youve no crystal ball
When you cant see the future
Theres no future at all
They try to stop asking 'who'
Like I try to stop asking 'why'
How can I forgive
When to concede is to die
And I see the future through open eyes
I see the future, through crystal ball lies
I can see who, I dont understand why
And I hope that they weep for the rest of their lives

Crystal Ball
Well, Ive heard it, Ive heard it all
Ive heard it all before
I dont need no gypsy
I dont need no crystal ball
Since you started messin round on me darlin
Now the phones ringing off the wall
And everybody says its so
I got a broken heart comin and they want me to know
And Ive heard it all
I dont need a crystal ball.
I got a lady across the hallway
I got another one way across town
All the people at your birthday party
You should hear the way theyre puttin me down?
It seems the whole worlds out to spy
Its like the cia meets the fbi
And Ive heard it all
I dont need a crystal ball
Well Ive heard it all
I dont need a crystal ball
Well Ive heard it all
It aint no surprise to me
I dont watch no television
I dont read the daily news
Im afraid if I listen to the radio
Ill hear about the latest things you do
I dont want no explanation
Nothin you could say could be a revelation
And Ive heard it all
I dont need a crystal ball.

Crystal Ball
Expert lover, my baby
U ever had a crystal ball?
Expert lover, my baby
U ever had a crystal ball?
Ooh, expert lover, my baby
Ever had a crystal ball?
Expert lover, my baby
U ever had a crystal ball?
As bombs explode around us and hate advances on the right
The only thing that matters, baby, is the love that we make 2night
As little babies in make-up terrorize the western world
The only thing that matters, baby, is love between a boy and girl
Oh, expert lover, my baby
U ever had a crystal ball?
Undercover, no maybe
All 4 fun and fun 4 all
I cant remember my babys voice cuz she aint talkin no more
Only the sound of love and prayer echo from the yellow floor,
Yellow floor
Huh, shes sayin c dear jesus, save us from temptation
Dear jesus, save us from hell
Save us from the madness that threatens us all
Can u hear us? its hard 2 tell
In your name we pray
Expert lover, my baby
Ever had a crystal ball?
Undercover, no maybe
All 4 fun, fun 4 all
As soldiers draw swords of sorrow
My baby draws pictures of sex (yes, she does)
All over the walls in graphic detail - sex!
Everybody say it now
Expert lover, huh, my baby
Ever had a crystal ball?
Under undercover, ha, no maybe
All 4 fun and fun 4 all
Rip it, ouch! uh
Expert lover, my baby
Ever had a crystal ball?
Uh, expert lover, my baby (my baby)
Ever had a crystal ball?
Crystal ball
Expert
My baby, my baby, my baby, my baby
Kiss me, lick me, trick me, whoa!
Oh yeah, yeah
Come on, come on, come on, wont u come on?
Expert lover, huh, my baby
Have u ever had a crystal ball?
Dont u wanna?
What my drummer wanna say? {x2}
Yeah! drummer
Tell me what the bass said
Yeah
Oh, ow!
Listen 2 my, uh, listen 2 my bass man play
(alright) (expert lover, my baby is alright)
(alright) (undercover, my baby is alright)
Listen 2 the guitar play
Hey! wait a minute now
Its groovy
Ouch! guitar, guitar
Come on now
Oh yeah!
My baby licked me fast
Her mama watch her gas
Come on, baby, do me fast
Come on, come on
Your mathematical gas
Uh
Ooh wee!
Darlin, darlin, u know u want a crycrystal ball
Crystal ball
I dont know, I have 2 ask my mommy first
As bombs explode around u and hate advances on your right
The only thing u can be sure of is the love we make 2night
Expert lover, my baby
Ever had a crystal ball?
Take off your clothes, baby
Come on, get the crystal ball
Oh, expert lover, my baby
U ever had a crystal ball?
Come on, take off your clothes, baby
Come on, get the crystal ball
Come on!
Expert lover, my baby
Ever had a crystal ball?
Oh, my baby, my baby, my baby
Come on, get the, get the, get the crystal ball
Oh, u ever had a crystal ball?

Oooooooo
Merry christmas, children
Bring your toys to crystal ship
Oooooooo
Well, down in eugene we got girls and boys
Who wake up on christmas morning but dont find any toys
If theyre lucky their healthy mom and dad come to chat
About how theyre missed, but you can change all that
Bring your toys to crystal ship
Oooo, for the children
Bring your toys to crystal ship
Oooo, for the children
Yeah, were the beach boys for crystal ship and toys
cause this christmas we want you to help spread the joy
It would feel so good, it would make them feel well
It would cheer em all up at childrens hospital
Bring your toys to crystal ship

The Swan ~ A Villanelle
Floating upon the crystal pond
She kept wearing her diamond crown
While the other white swan was gone
Never doubting their fierce loving bond
As the leaves went from reddish to brown
Floating upon the crystal pond
Her blue eyes searching far beyond
Couldn't see that he'd recently drowned
While the other white swan was gone
So curling, becoming withdrawn
When ten suns in the sky settled down
Floating upon the crystal pond
She talked to the geese that were blond
And asked where he was with a frown
While the other white swan was gone
They cared not and didn't respond
In the reeds was a kings golden crown
Floating upon the crystal pond
While the other white swan was gone

Crystal Charisma
As clear as crystal necklaces
Worn by celebrities
And snowflakes as each passes
Upon a wistful breeze,
Or spiders' webs with morning dew,
So gossamer, so fine,
Transparent is my love for you,
My sweetheart Valentine...
As clear as crystal solitaires
That grace 9-carat rings
And icicles mid Winter's airs
As each new Christmas brings,
Or skating rinks spread out for all
To while away an hour,
Your eyes to me send out their call
With such hypnotic power...
As clear as crystal stars at night
That twinkle 'gainst the sky,
As if to shine with all their might
Intent to mystify...
I look at you and feel the thrill
Of love reborn, 'Hooray! '
Yet wonder if I ever will
Declare that love someday...
As clear as crystal would life be
If you said, 'I love you! '
Then all my doubts would surely flee,
For what else could they do?
As clear as crystal is my love,
Alas, I'm oh so shy...
Till God grants courage from above,
All I can do is... sigh...

When Crystal Hearts Are Broken
When crystal hearts are broken
You cannot make repair.
The warmth and love you cherished
Turns then, to cold despair.
Its pieces of love shattered;
Though small, shall sparkle still.
So gather them as treasures
And keep them, if you will.
For crystal hearts when broken;
Though shattered and no more,
Are treasured for their beauty
Displayed to you before.
The pieces, just remember,
Though sometimes hid away;
Still sparkle like a treasure
When they're put on display.
The world should see such treasures
Because they're oh so rare.
Crystal hearts add value
To lives of cold despair.
And crystal, when it sparkles
In whole, or just in part;
Still is, of all its vessels,
True love's most favored heart.

Crystal Lullaby
Listen to the song he sings
Cant you see his music brings her
Crystal sleep
As her heavy eyelids fall
Hes taking her to where the dolls
Rule the world
And in that land of make believe
Is where hell leave her sleeping
Softly warm
In a crystal lullaby
Hes weaving her a paper castle
Where dancing clowns with tassels made of fur
Welcome her into their world
That lives inside the dreams
Of every little girl
Shes guarded by a brave tin soldier
Sitting on her shoulder
Taken there
In a crystal lullaby
Sometimes when I listen to
The velvet song that fills the summer afternoon
Something deep within me sighs
And wishes for the peaceful skies
Of long ago
(*) that wrapped my cares
In silver air
And carried them away
Leaving me ...
And a crystal lullaby
Repeat (*)

My Foggy Crystal Ball
I look into my crystal ball
To predict my future
But why is my ball foggy?
Is it because my future
Will never be foretold?
Or is it because
I have no future
And this is my destination?
Shall I know?
Not until
My crystal ball
Is foggy no longer

In this treacherous world there is neither truth nor lie; everything is like the color of the crystal through which you gaze.
A Knock
Black Rover and Red Rover,
The crystal ball is clear to me;
Then, i suddenly heard a knock at the door!
There she stood like the beauty of the moon,
And the heavens were opened to me and i saw the beauty of her love.
Like the expanse of dazzling crystal,
There is a bright future for me on this love.

Looking For Perfection
If you are looking
for perfection
STOP!
Look no further
it does not exist
on this life plane.
We were all born
into sin, sinners
we are.
So we must remain
always searching,
seeking GOD.
We all strive for
it
search for it
few, if any obtain
it.
When at last our
earthly journey
is over
we will then return
to the land of
perfection.
Sit and drink from
the river of life
in peaceful
surroundings.
Gaze into the crystal
sea
meet our loved ones
resting there

Sola Sistim
Come get some orange juice, it's great.
[repeated throughout the song, each time in different speaker]
My eyes burn naked,
my black cold numbers,
my insecurities,
my devious nature,
make it go away.
My rest between rubber,
my spider shadow,
my shattered dancer.
Beautiful, broken,
my crystal fingers,
beautiful, broken,
my crystal fingers.
My glass like rain,
my illumination,
my cracks are sliding,
shaker, feather,
rubber, duster,
cold, cool,
your fingers, broken,
beautiful, wonderful,
paper flaps,
how you love,
love to love,
love and stitch,
shaker, rubber, striper.
Beautiful, broken,
my crystal fingers,
beautiful, broken,
my crystal fingers.

Rainy Daze
Tears falling from my sky
Mixing with the raindrops running from my eyes
And our sky may cry in crystal showers
And tomorrow may seem a hundred miles away
And your hurting may be strong for the moment
But this sadness cannot stay
Bring me the sunshine to dry up all the rain
The sunshine to put and end to our pain
Now you know the years have been hard ones
You see it when you look into their eyes
And you hope for them that these crystal teardrops
Will somehow just pass by
And our skies may cry in crystal showers
And it seems we can't leave yesterdays behind
But you know our sun will shine down again
Yea, you know it's just a matter of time
Bring me the sunshine to dry up all the tears
Bring me the sunshine, it's been raining for years
And our skies may cry in crystal showers
And tomorrow may seem a hundred miles away
But this rain, it just can't stay.
Background Of Softest Blue Sky (Rev.)
Rainfall in thin silver slivers
crystal drops cling to rails
sun a radiant shaft through clouds
gleaming strings stream down
thunder rolls in deep-throated delight
rumbling contentment, satisfied
Rain plays percussion on roof iron, grass
glows in phosphorescent green
sunrays form dragonfly wings in my eyes
as I gaze into a rich, baritone thunder
a symphony in silver
A mint imperial sun winking
playing crystal drops twinkling
on blades of grass, raindrops in chords
on roof counterpoint to thunder’s
comforting booms, sunbeams glistening in
silver clouds, background of softest blue

Can We See The Future Today? [Part 2]
Numerology has been used to peep into the future
since the days of Pythagoras in the B.C era
This is done by adding the numerical digits
of our birthdates until it forms a single digit
Also, numerology converts the alphabets in our names
into numbers for metaphysical interpretation.
The digit summing of our birthdates and birth names from
from one to nine can reveal our future potentials
How accurate is numerology as a tool to foresee the future?
The exactness depends on the numerologist
Can we see the future today?
Geomancy has also been used to peep into the future
Human beings have practiced geomancy for thousands of years
Many cultures and societies have their own form of geomancy
This is the divination by means of signs connected with the soil
Answers to questions can be obtained by writing on the ground
We all remember Master Jesus writing on the ground
when the Pharisees brought a woman caught in adultery to him
This is a classic example of geomancy (see John 8 1-11)
Crystal Gazing is the art of staring or looking into crystal
ball to foresee and predict future events
This tool can also be used for character analysis
and aid in making choices as well as solving problems
For example, a man with four or five girl-friends can use
crystal gazing to decide which one would make a perfect wife
How precise is crystal gazing as a means of peeping into the future?
The accuracy depends on the crystal reader or seer
Can we see the future today?
Some people will prefer to consult the Tarot Cards
to look and foresee the immediate future
Tarot is a system of fortune-telling using a special pack of cards
This special pack contains 78 cards – which is sub-divided into
22 major arcana cards and 56 minor arcana cards
How correct is the tarot in foretelling the future?
The precision depends on the tarot reader or consultant
