A Pause

A lonely traveler stood frozen
up on the highest peak, the apex
of a floating, sullen iceberg
in an isolated sea of nowhen

A mind focused on a single task
a heart filled with love as, for him
universe existed and revolved
around that one single person

Had he taken his heart out
and showed her it's still beating,
still bleeding for her, but nay
he didn't, and she'd have known

Instead, had his eyes closed
with a lost smile on his lips
mere memories of eventides and
auroras playing on his inner eye

The iceberg sank slowly, with
him on its top, crawling under
as the questions burned him
and lead to the final meltdown.

was but apex tip of an unknown unseen iceberg
seen from far distant coastline sea shore
while continent iceberg was at a distance vast
bobbing up down over distant far horizon

The Imaginary Iceberg

We'd rather have the iceberg than the ship,
although it meant the end of travel.
Although it stood stock-still like cloudy rock
and all the sea were moving marble.
We'd rather have the iceberg than the ship;
we'd rather own this breathing plain of snow
though the ship's sails were laid upon the sea
as the snow lies undissolved upon the water.
O solemn, floating field,
are you aware an iceberg takes repose
with you, and when it wakes may pasture on your snows?

This is a scene a sailor'd give his eyes for.
The ship's ignored. The iceberg rises
and sinks again; its glassy pinnacles
correct elliptics in the sky.
This is a scene where he who treads the boards
is artlessly rhetorical. The curtain
is light enough to rise on finest ropes
that airy twists of snow provide.
The wits of these white peaks
spar with the sun. Its weight the iceberg dares
upon a shifting stage and stands and stares.

The iceberg cuts its facets from within.
Like jewelry from a grave
it saves itself perpetually and adorns
only itself, perhaps the snows
which so surprise us lying on the sea.
Good-bye, we say, good-bye, the ship steers off
where waves give in to one another's waves
and clouds run in a warmer sky.
Icebergs behoove the soul
(both being self-made from elements least visible)
to see them so: fleshed, fair, erected indivisible.

Thanks for playing with my feelings,

Thanks for playing with my feelings,
How i wish i could stop my heart from beating,
Thanks for playing with my heart,
At least to you this was a fun part,
you have left me broken, with my eyes filled with tears and fears,
At least you are whole, with smile on your face and not a sight of fear,
To you i was just a game, that you tried to win and succeeded,
Now that you are bored you've left me deserted,
Thanks for playing with my head,
Your sick little mind games,
You kept me guessing, till the very end,
Thanks for playing with my emotions,
According to you this was my weakness,
Thanks for your fake love,
Thanks for pretending that your cared,
Thanks for strengthening my belief, that LOVE is nothing but a pain causing pill,
Thanks for showing me that friendship is something that does not really exist,
Thanks for breaking my trust, for opening up, for sharing my thoughts, for placing my trust on an unknown soul,
Thanks for opening my eyes, you honestly showed me that Love too like friendship is something that does not actually exist,
Thanks for showing me the right path,
A path where to help is to hurt, to love is to lie, to share is to sin, to smile is a crime,
Thanks for showing me, a man with a heart is not a man at all,
Thanks for proving that I'm a fool, to have trusted you,
I will hate myself, till the very end, for loving you...........................

My Heart is Broken

Does anyone know that my heart is broken?
Perhaps no one really knows because of the laughter I show when I'm with them,
Nobody knows that my heart is hurting because of that person.
Those days in love it was the laughter that made me happy,
Waking up in the morning next to the person that I loved,
It was everything that I could wished for,
But the laughter faded when the person said it was over.

Years have passed by but the memories are still here,
And I don't think I could ever erase the person from my mind,
Those wonderful memories from my heart.
My heart is bleeding from the sad memories that were once happy,
I can laugh and laugh,
I can lie to myself and my friends,
But the tears from the laughter are the tears from the heartbreak.

Sometimes in the nights I hear myself laughing,
The laughter that echoes through the nights,
Through the lonely dark room,
I sometimes realize that not all of the echoing sounds are laughter,
But they are the tears and sadness coming from my heart.
How can I erase anything when the person's love was so beautiful?
How can I erase that person from my memory,
When I still love that person so much

Dark Bodies (demo)

Dark bodies floating in darkness
No sign of light ever given
Imprisoned in a world without a memory
Unconscious, or am I conscious?
Cut from the heart I am part of
Sometimes it feels as though I'm frozen in heaven
And I saw my own face in the black lonely space
Like a spark frozen grey
Floating away [x2]
In dreams I see myself flying
Closer to the sun and I'm climbing
Tried to touch the sun
But the brightness burned my eyes
Unconscious, or am I conscious?
Fell from the sky like a star
Sometimes it feels as though I'm frozen in heaven
And I saw my own face in the black lonely space
Like a spark frozen grey
Floating away
And I saw my own face in the black lonely space
Like a spark...
My mind was so dark...
My life was so dark...
My mind was so dark...
My life was so dark...
Everything was dark
Unconscious, or am I conscious?
Fell from the sky like a star
Sometimes I feel as though I'm frozen in Heaven
And I saw my own face in the black lonely space
Like a spark frozen grey
Floating away [x2]
And I saw my own face like a spark...floating away

Barely rhymed sonnet: Love and Law

The universe, a single act of love,
it’s said; and ever so, then, must remain;
is never other; has no place for hate,
save in the minds and hearts of less than men..

the universe, a single, lawful law;
from which all laws emerge, as reason does;
emerge as justice, in those laws observed;
and known and lived, a promise of true bliss;

may we, then, share a single, wholesome view
in which the love of law, and law of love
rest warm in heart and bright in eye and mind,
and meet to know this mercy from above?

Thus live as the Creator’s mind – a prayer
I barely dare; yet hope That heart to share..

My Heart Stood Still

I laughed at sweethearts
I met at schools
All indiscreet hearts
Seemed romantic fools
A house in Iceland
Was my heart's domain
I saw your eyes
Now castles rise in Spain!
I took one look at you
That's all I meant to do
And then my heart stood still
My feet could step and walk
My lips could move and talk
And yet my heart stood still
Though not a single word was spoken
I could tell you knew
That unfelt clasp of hands
Told me so well you knew
I never lived at all
Until the thrill of that moment when
My heart stood still
Though not a single word was spoken
I could tell you knew
That unfelt clasp of hands
Told me so well you knew
I never lived at all
Until the thrill of that moment when
My heart stood still
All that moment when
My heart stood still
My heart stood still
My heart stood still

Single Day

Not a single day goes by..........
Where she is not in his thoughts
Not a single day goes by..........
Where his heart does not feel
Not a single day goes by..........
Where he does not want to reach out
Not a single day goes by..........
Where he dreams of his love for her
Not a single day goes by..........
Where he does not dream of kissing her
Not a single day goes by..........
Where he does not dream of holding her
Not a single day goes by..........
Where he does not ask. Why?
Not a single day goes by..........
Where she is not his first thought on waking.
Not a single day goes by..........
Where she is not his last thought before sleeping.
Not a single day goes by..........

Every Single Day

Every single day
We'll remember what we do today
Words we didn't say
We'll remember every single day
Then years go by
To wonder why, and wonder what we learned
Was that the bridge we should'a crossed?
The one we burned?
Every empty night
To regret a life that could've been
Maybe you were right,
just forget that emptiness within
So if you go
before that moment's gone
look at me the way
I'll remember every single day
From now on
You deserve,I don't know,
what the man I'd love to be
That's not the way it turned out
No, you fell in love with me
Everything you doubt
I will fight for every single day
Help me work it out
Make it right for every single day
But this I swear
I'd stake my life upon
If you go or stay
I will love you as I do today
And I love you
Every Single Day
From Now On

Icebergs

Good is the basis for this island,
A joking commands this iceberg.
My ice is cold and the air is hot
For we hear all the atmosphere.
Why do cold tears arise for existence?
My hot air gives me oxygen
For the end of this island is near.
This raises us in sleep,
The sleep of all sleeps arises,
For the death of an iceberg is accidental
Like that event.
Where is this good of an iceberg?
Why do you joke about my toga
That I wear when I sleep?
It was an Eskimo who entertained me,
Not a Roman.

Pestilential Solemn

From a deep slumber, a forever rest; lies abreast from me a lowly being.
T'was the same like before who showed no signs of fleeing.
He looked at me with his eyes he glared,
he looked at me with his nostrils flared.
He reached within me and grabbed my soul,
disappearing now into a world of cold.
An ethereal place where nightmare lurks,
as I wonder alone being the berkes.
I stood there edgewise as a crow flew to me,
he showed no fear, from what I could see.
He spoke with a voice so soft and ease,
'Weary traveler, let your trouble seize.'
I am stricken with angst as time before me froze
'What is now to come, but one of many woes? '
The crow before me, glisten and glowed;
forming a mirror, myself it showed.
Upon his chest a darkened hole,
and in his right hand beating, his heart and soul.
He reached with his left, grabbing my arm from the mirror,
my eyesight blurred for a second now is clearer.
He dragged me in as the mirror liquefied,
leaving me alone on the other side.
My body it burned as I looked upon my breast,
my heart was gone, a blackened hole upon my chest;
a beating in my hand with my heart in chains,
agony overwhelms as insanity now reigns.
A ghost beside me, a face like mine;
he laughed and jest as I am benign.
Time still froze while I lay restless,
lost in this dream, nonetheless.

Eyes of Green Meet Eyes of Blue

Lonely mornings crawling by
Lonely nights where time won't fly
Lonely days with no hand held
A pounding heart that's never quelled
Crawling slowly back to you
Eyes of green meet eyes of blue

Sitting silent in a daze
A life alone, it never pays
All behind and nothing here
Hiding all the pain and fear
Crawling slowly back to you
Eyes of green meet eyes of blue

Troubled words meet nervous ears
Fighting through the hurt and tears
Finding peace back in your arms
Giving in to all your charms
Crawling slowly back to you
Eyes of green meet eyes of blue

Lazy mornings, all time lost
Melting back the cold and frost
Holding hands and holding hearts
Forgotten endings, brand new starts
Lying right here next to you
Eyes of green meet eyes of blue

When Love Dies

What first began with ecstacy continued for a while...
She captured every part of me with each seducing smile...
It's not that she intended this, yet that's how things turned out
And some would say that perfect bliss is what life's all about...

The weeks flew by, yet time stood still each moment we embraced
And I recall the utmost thrill of how her lips would taste...
I held her close, we stood as one, our hearts were beating fast...
So how was I to know our fun just wasn't meant to last?

She didn't call, she didn't write, I saw no reason why...
But then one night, I gained insight and then watched my love die...
And die it did, at first quite slow, for who wants love to end?
Its death struck me a mortal blow... I'm not the same, my friend...

A part of me, with love, died, too... How can I love again?
How can what's left of me pursue true love like trusting men?
So here I am, alone once more, no lips to kiss at all,
Indeed more lonely than before, since memories I recall...

How many years are left to live, if living's quite the word?
A broken heart, what can it give? To love would be absurd...
If I've one chance, then that's enough, perchance to raise the bar!
For broken hearts still yearn to love! That's just the way they are!

Sleeping Single

Heres the house.
Heres the city and the stream.
Heres the father to my dream.
Heres the lost and lonely look in your eyes.
When you leave I will break down and cry.
Sleeping single -
I will wait for you.
Im sleeping single -
til you change your mind.
Sleeping single -
I will wait for you til time
Has gone by.
Ill pay the price
For all the love you poured like rain
toujours lamour over again,
But the midnight chills are getting so rough
And the bed is big enough for both of us.
Sleeping single -
I would die for you.
Im sleeping single -
Wont you change your way.
Sleeping single -
I will pray for you to stay,
He-he-hey...
He-he-hey...

Single Is Fair

Single
I am single
Question of double
Does not arise.

I am single
Only single.

Single sun
Single moon
Single earth
Single air
Single sky
Sngle water
Single fire
Single soul
Single body
All are there
All are fair.
Single is single
Single is beautiful
Single is fair.

Splitting The Light

then I saw and we knew
a single light spark
buried unlit
a single breath mark
of a misfit
lighting a fire for two

then I heard and we tried
a single right word
shyly uttered
almost unheard
I frozen muttered
before it died

then I smelled ashes and we ran
a single step covered all dust
left the world living in a den
left each stammer rotten and rust

then there was the hand I raised
a left heart beat but the hand was right
my sunward eyes stood still amazed
at the horizons splitting the light

Not The Kind

When I'm away from you
I think about the things you do
And every single day
I hope that love will stay this way
When I'm alone I just worry about you
It shouldn't matter if I'm with or without you

Everybody wants to have a boy like you
And there's not a single guy who doesn't look at you
You're so fine
You're so kind
Can't believe
That you're mine
Heaven sent me love like you

Well I'm not the kind of girl who will play around
Well I'm not the kind of guy who will let you down
So you're not that kind of guy
So you're not that kind of girl

We're good when we're together
But it's hard when we're apart

I'm not the jealous kind
But you've been playing with my mind
In every single way
I think about you every day
When I'm alone I just worry about you
You say you love me boy so why should I doubt you

Listen to your heart
There's no mistaking
Listen to your heart
You'll find the truth
Listen to your heart
When life is breaking

Every single answer
Is right there inside of you

Well I'm not that kind of girl
Well I'm not that kind of guy
So you're not that kind of guy
So you're not that kind of girl

I Was Born To Love You

I was born to love you
With every single beat of my heart
Yes, I was born to take care of you
Every single day...
(chorus:)
I was born to love you
With every single beat of my heart
Yes, I was born to take care of you
Every single day of my life
You are the one for me
I am the man for you
You were made for me
Youre my ecstasy
If I was given every opportunity
Id kill for your love
So take a chance with me
Let me romance with you
Im caught in a dream
And my dreams come true
Its so hard to believe
This is happening to me
An amazing feeling
Coming through -
(chorus)
I wanna love you
I love every little thing about you
I wanna love you, love you, love you
Born - to love you
Born - to love you
Yes I was born to love you
Born - to love you
Born - to love you
Every single day - of my life
An amazing feeling
Comin through
(chorus)
Yes I was born to love you
Every single day of my life
Go, I love you babe
Yes, I was born to love you
I wanna love you, love you, love you
I wanna love you
I get so lonely, lonely, lonely
Yeah, I want to love you
Yeah, give it to me

Not a single thing

Not a single thing could comprise
The secret geography of this body
Limbs stretching close alive
Hands weaving the lines fingers apart
The head bountiful pillowed
And the beating beating of its heart
Not a single thing to account for
The rhythm of the footsteps
A horror vacui sealed in each step
Feet silent directions bespoken by the sand
The sand dust of eternal walks
Through the mind in the mind
Head caput over heading horizons crowns
Or silver coins of the Moons engraved
Deeply cut into the doors of the night sky
I waited there long enough to learn
Not a single thing can totally define
The lenghts of the smile on the lips then dry
Before the blue was taken away
Into the sunrise red and the ocean
Torrent mind reached for another embrace
Shower spells of the wishing well waters
Dipped a forefinger to stir a ripple to circle inside
In wild wet circles where all wishes lent
A beautiful colour to once broken sides
Four-cornered spaces geometrically divine
Symmetry silent perfect shapeful something
That wanted to call my name
In the name of peace a final spell of sunshine to feed
When the world thought there was nothing else nothing more to say
It smiled secretly enough to know
There's not a single thing that an eartlhy milked path
Could any longer fluctuate in those breasts
Not a single thing could be brought out of its womb
Without being full lungs alive
Nothing
Not a single word
Not a single colour of the beautifully created soil
Could reach the richness of this body
Stretching hand horizons heart
Building stepping stones for the feet to fly
Weaving locks of hair set loose
Hooked on the heavens above

Mine Forever

Body and mind, trapped in a cage,
Heart and soul, filled with rage,
Losing control,
Breaking down,
Giving up,
Eyes blinded,
Filled with tears,
Loss of sight,
My heart slashed open,
With an axe,
Broken,
Bleeding through the cracks,
Feelings flying on a kite,
String cut, lost in flight,
But just as I was about to give in,
An angle showed me the light,
A girl That I dream of at night,
She breathed, breath, back into my body,
Made my heart beat once again,
Warmth filled every vein,
Felt like dancing in the rain,
Her beauty could not compare,
She loves me, and I'm aware,
I love her, and she knows I care,
Her soft sweet voice gives me butterflies,
Between me and her, there are no lies,
Her cute little smile makes my day,
When I look into her beautiful eyes,
I just don't know what to say,
She will always be
My baby,
My sweet heart,
My cuddle buddy,
My cutie pie,
My one,
My only,
My guardian,
My angle,
Through thick and thin,
Good and bad,
I'll never let go,
I'll never leave,
No matter what,
Forever and ever,
She'll always be mine,
Forever and always.
