Poor Unfortunate Souls
How poor unfortunate souls they are;
Who neither know nor care to know,
What causes purity in the snow,
What causes sunshine in the hay.
That do not know the realities,
What pains and sorrows are given by hate,
What lifeless things so captivate,
What peace and charm thrives in the seas.
What yearns the trees and bees to grow,
What makes it special -our human lives;
What things in you that success drives,
What takes the ego, of things to throw.
Needless they be, yet are deceitful
These colourless souls, these powerless minds,
Of morality, of types and kinds,
Of what it takes to be the fruitful.
And thence we have this rising breed,
Those who seek no dreams, no colorful thoughts-
Of midday illusions, of nightly draughts,
Yet only the demised peoples' greed.
So, this is it that we must do,
To end this streak, once and for all.
Have faith in heart, you will stand tall;
Against these pigmies of all worlds too.

Smh
So I was talking to a friend
Just the other day
And we were talking about relationships
I told her about a special someone
The first thing she asked me if
The guy and I had sex
Naw Boo
See people fail to realize
That is why things die
Things end before they begin
Because people don't care
About what they put into
Themselves
In their eyes
In their minds
In their souls
In their hearts
So things fall apart
From the start
Take time to know the man
Or woman
Chances are if somethings wrong
You will see it before
You take your clothes off
So you won't be hoping
That the emptiness of sex
Can fix the brokenness
Naw not me I think
I will pass
On that
I don't care how long it takes
I will not walk into a situation
With my eyes open
Don't want no mistakes

Leap Of Faith
All over the world the rain was pourin
I was scratchin where it itched
Oh heartbreak and despair got nothing but boring
So I grabbed you baby like a wild pitch
It takes a leap of faith to get things going
It takes a leap of faith you gotta show some guts
It takes a leap of faith to get things going
In your heart you must trust
Now your legs were heaven your breasts were the altar
Your body was the holy land
You shouted jump but my heart faltered
You laughed and said baby dont you understand?
It takes a leap of faith to get things going
It takes a leap of faith you gotta show some guts
It takes a leap of faith to get things going
In your heart you must trust
Now you were the red sea I was moses
I kissed you and slipped into a bed of roses
The waters parted and love rushed inside
I was jesus son sanctified
Tonight the moons looking young but Im feelin younger
neath a veil of dreams sweet blessings rain
Honey I can feel the first breeze of summer
And in your love Im born again
It takes a leap of faith to get things going
It takes a leap of faith you gotta show some guts
It takes a leap of faith to get things going
In your heart you must trust

Special
I been trying for so long
To get you where I stand
Feel like I been climbing all my life
Everybody told me
I'd never ever get this far
I know I can make it if I try
There's the special things that come your way
?I'll be praying? no matter what they say
Special things that somehow come to you
(come to you, you too, to you, do to, be do, you)
Special things come to you
There's no sense in trying to fight it
When I want something so bad
No, it's not as easy as it seems
Simple things are the hardest
Of the things we do for love
And I won't give up cause I'm not just what it means
The special things you dream about
And the special things you're all about
Special things that somehow come to you
And it's the simple things to just believe
And the special things that you want to see
Special things somehow come to you
(come to you, doo doo doo, to you, doo doo doo)
Special things (doo, doo ahh, you doo)
Do do doo, on you, do do doo, to you
Do doo, ahh, do do doo, too
There's the special things that come your way
?I'll be praying? no matter what they say
Special things that somehow come to you
The special things you dream about
And the special things you're all about
Special things that somehow come to you
There's the special things that come your way
?I'll be praying? no matter what they say
Special things that somehow come to you
And it's the simple things to just believe
And the special things that you want to see
Special things somehow come to you

Sonnet: All Things Are Possible for God
The God who made all creatures most perfect,
Is fairest Judge of all, in universe;
But man has turned the earth so imperfect
And tends to make it even much more worse!
The God who made all creatures, big and small
Is duty-bound to give them, fair a deal;
He loves all creatures: man, the most of all;
Takes care of every want and every meal!
The Maker guards the poor, unfortunate:
Takes special care of handicapped and weak;
And yet, gives chances for those fortunate,
And those who pray to Him and favors seek.
How difficult a job, this seems to man!
Do things impossible with ease, God can.

Earth-quakes?
God shakes
The earth with quakes –
A way, some men, He wakes,
To know the genuine from fakes,
And to prepare more souls for Elysium Lakes!
God takes
Some lives, He makes –
Like fallen leaves, He rakes,
And gives some men more pains and aches –
A way, sometimes, the ‘cakes of souls’, He bakes!
Man takes
No blame for quakes;
He is not wise but makes
All blunders, mortal sins, mistakes,
Without in life, ever applying the brakes!
God makes;
The Maker takes;
Should man not for God sakes,
Then understand the pow’r of quakes –
An index of the Omnipotent’s aches?

Favorite Things
Im thinking of my souls sovereignty and I know everything you hate in me
Fill me up with over-pious badgerings, to throw them up, oh, one of my favorite things
Remember all the lessons fed to me?
Me the young sponge, so ready to agree
Years have gone
I recognize the walking dead now aware that Im alive and way ahead
Too bad the things that make you mad are my favorite things
And Im so happy I see you looking,
I know that youre thinking that Ill never go anywhere
The things that Ive done and teh things that Ive seen
I dont really expect you to care

To Stand Tall
all it takes to stand tall
is to believe
that you are tall
and feel and
do what it takes
to be tall. You do not need
kin or friends or relatives
or politics or religion
or sorcery
what you need is only
to believe and then
the length
of your dreams begins
to grow
and become true
this is just a matter
between the heart
and the mind
and of course,
the determination to be
you.

Almighty’s Ways are Incredible
The ways of Almighty are strange,
And mysterious, miraculous;
No human mind can understand
The timing of the things, He does.
Yet, God has plans for all of us,
And executes them so deftly;
The world is surprised by God’s works,
And how He goes about His job.
God raises righteous persons to
High positions in earthly life,
That gives them contentment so great,
The world cannot but stay amazed!
God heals the wounds of hearts and minds,
Removing indelible scars;
God gives peace lasting for lifetime
To lives, who plead and pray to Him.
God arranges such mighty things
That man’s efforts cannot achieve;
God builds the homes of upright souls
On rock, and blesses them amply!
The man of wisdom trusts in God;
The foolish man believes in self;
Mere human strength will fail most times;
God’s grace is needed for success!
So, trust in God and ask of Him;
God is ever-ready to help;
His heart of love is eager to
Listen to pleas of frantic souls!

Sadness Traps The Unfortunate
Sadness traps the unfortunate.
Those who will never be honest with themselves.
And live for things to comfort them.
To fulfill empty lives committed to hiding.
These are the ones who compare themselves to others.
These are the ones who feel significant,
If they can impress.
If their conversations express,
An interest that is common with pretensions addressed.
Sadness traps the unfortunate.
Those who will never be honest with themselves.
And live for things to comfort them.
To fulfill empty lives committed to hiding.
And those glass ceilings crack.
Precious plastic cards lose appeal.
Credit ratings plummet.
And those living leased lives are revealed.
Sadness,
Traps...
The unfortunate.
And looking back floods the tears,
From those who could not show compassion.
Now it is something that seems to flow.
But not from those doors padlocked and foreclosed.
Sadness,
Traps...
The unfortunate,
In minds where fear is found.
With compassion for others.
But no one is around to notice or care.
Since a cold indifferentness had always been there.
From those who exposed,
Their wishes just to feed their greed.
And egos.
Sadness traps the unfortunate.
Those who will never be honest with themselves.
And live for things to comfort them.
To fulfill empty lives committed to hiding,
Lieing and deceit.

If I may say
Love comes and goes and it rarely lasts these days
That's one of the things that makes me sad if I may say
It becomes more and more difficult to find a true friend these days
That's one of the things that makes me sad if I may say
Too often siblings fight each other for property these days
That's one of the things that makes me sad if I may say
Greed and desire are what many people nurture these days
That's one of the things that makes me sad if I may say
Moral and ethic less and less people care these days
That's one of the things that makes me sad if I may say
Too many dubious actions and decisions I have seen these days
That's one of the things that makes me sad if I may say
With paper-white mind and evil thoughts astray
How much I yearn for my childhood life left behind so far away.

SONNET: A Bard’s new venture
God, let me knock the doors that remain locked!
Open their windows and let sunshine in;
Soothen the souls that are quake and shell-shocked;
Empty the misdeeds, vices off soul’s bin.
God, let me make them see Light that is true;
And let me show them way that is aright;
Help them to turn their hearts and minds anew;
Let me help them their temptations to fight.
God, let me show the greatness of thine love;
That earthly things and human ways shall pass;
That human passions are things just for now;
That men are not like sheep who ingest grass!
God, let me bring more souls to heaven, then;
By freeing those struggling from devil’s curse!

True Love Divine...edit
Our inner selves electrified
With love
Drives the inner souls
Beyond oneself,
To ride the galaxy
To unite
Our souls as one my love.
Attracting rays of the sun to
Weld our hearts,
Moonbeams cool our blood.
The stars stand witness
To our divine union,
Blessed by gods universe.
Compelled with all this wonder
And with love truly
Running thru our minds and body
We commit to a life
Of faith hope and charity
Towards all mankind
Of every faith and creed
Who all look up to the same
Bright light shining from the sky,
True love of all kinds will never die.

Love Is Prime On Earth And In Heaven
Love rules all things though man may disagree
Love’s key opens man’s problematic locks
Love is the cause for Maker making man
Love is the reason why God takes him too!
Love is the winner clear over hatred
Love gives a deeper meaning to our lives
Love makes the brotherhood of nations true
Love goads man’s heart to seek the creator
Love is the basis for man’s existence
Love turns each home, a living paradise
Love makes a man akin to God at times
Love brings us forgiveness of God and bliss
Love turns the earthly transience worth living
Love gives an aim divine in our journey
Love helps us face our challenges in life
Love makes all human beings more humane
Love keeps the human race to grow stronger
Love moves all hearts to remorse, repentance
Love made the one God sacrifice His Son
Love is the cause of heaven’s reality
Love fills the empty heart with hope anew
Love opens new windows and vistas
Love fuses souls to Maker’s intentions
Love adds dignity to our earthly stay
Love is the most potent weapon on earth
Love is the lasting solution to peace
Love makes the earth a somewhat paradise
Love is a gift more precious than all wealth!

I Don't Call Him Daddy
It was six in the morning
When I made the county line
There's someone I got to talk to
I can't get it off my mind.
He's just a kid
And he's in a pretty rough spot
Two dimes to make a phone call
That's about all I've got.
How's my boy today?
I know it's been three weeks
But you know how far I've got to go
To make those loose ends meet.
How's your mama now
With her new live-in friend
Oh, how I hate the wounds
That never seem to mend.
Chorus:
And he says I don't call him daddy
But he takes care of things
When you pick me up on Friday
Are you gonna bring me anything?
Oh, don't worry dad, ya know
It don't matter what we do
I don't call him daddy
He could never be like you
Never be like you.
God bless their little hearts
They're the ones who really pay
When mom and dad can't get along
And go their seperate ways.
In a way I'm glad there's someone
There to fill the empty place
Tears of understanding
Streak down a dirty face.
Chorus:
And he says I don't call him daddy
But he takes care of things
When you pick me up on Friday
Are you gonna bring me anything?
Oh, don't worry dad, ya know
It don't matter what we do
I don't call him daddy
He could never be like you
Never be like you.
He is quite a little man
Growing up as fast as he can
And I don't get to see him
Half as much as I had planned.
There's so much I need to tell him
So precious little time
A little rain on the window
In a little way goodbye.
Chorus:
And he says I don't call him daddy
But he takes care of things
When you pick me up on Friday
Are you gonna bring me anything?
Oh, don't worry dad, ya know
It don't matter what we do
I don't call him daddy
He could never be like you
Never be like you.
Chorus:
And he says I don't call him daddy
But he takes care of things
When you pick me up on Friday
Are you gonna bring me anything?
Oh, don't worry dad, ya know
It don't matter what we do
I don't call him daddy
He could never be like you
Never be like you...

Intuition
My intentions are good, I use my intuition
It takes me for a ride
But I never understood other peoples superstitions
It seemed like suicide
As I play the game of life
I try to make it better each and every day
And when I struggle in the night
The magic of the music seems to light the way
Ah, intuition takes me there
Intuition takes me everywhere
Well my instincts are fine
I had to learn to use them in order to survive
And time after time confirmed an old suspicion
Its good to be alive
And when Im deep down and out and lose communication
With nothing left to say
Its then I realize its only a condition
Of seeing things that way
Ah, intuition takes me there
Intuition takes me anywhere
(takes me anywhere, alright)
Ah, intuition takes me there
Intuition takes me there
Intuition takes me there
Intuition takes me there
Intuition takes me there
Intuition takes me there

Little Bit Of Love
Yeah
Woo...ooh...ooh...ooh...
You say you want to be the one I need
You say you want to be the one for me
You say you want to be the one I need
But then you go and act so crazy
You say you never want to let me go
You say you want to be the one I hold
You say you never want to let me go
But then you go and leave me lonely
If you want to make things right
Love can make a way
If you want to take the time
Act like what you say, yeah
A little bit of love is all it takes
A little bit of love goes a long, long way
A little bit of love is all it takes
A little bit of love is lovely
A little bit of love is all it takes
A little bit of love goes a long, long way
A little bit of love is all it takes
A little bit of love is lovely
You want to be the one who makes me shy
The one who makes me laugh and makes me cry
You want to be the one to change my life
Then maybe you should treat me kindly
You want to make believe you never left
You want to make believe I never wept
You said youd never ever leave again
Oh, baby, wont you quit pretendin
If you want to make things right
Love can make a way
And if you want to take the time
Act like what you say, yeah
A little bit of love is all it takes
A little bit of love goes a long, long way
A little bit of love is all it takes

God Amply Blesses Righteous Souls
At last, some things do happen much sought for,
in strange a manner, and in God’s own time;
The world is taken aback by such feats –
those happen by mere trust in Almighty!
God blesses righteous souls in mighty ways!
Our prayers can bring forth miracles quite fast;
God does not forsake nor abandon souls;
His love for righteousness is too steadfast.
The world looks down upon all righteous souls;
Yet, truth triumphs always ultimately;
Our foes and friends cannot believe their eyes;
God showers blessings on His beloved souls.
The righteous win against such heavy odds;
When God does things, He does them perfectly;
Our earthly tries end up in vanity,
But God gives upright souls some thumping wins.
Let worry not engulf one’s heart and mind;
Keep purity of soul foremost in life;
Sin shouldn’t decrease the bond of man with God;
God does great things if one truly deserves!

Differemt People
Well things can be broken down
In this world of ours
You dont have to be a famous person
Just to make your mark
A mother can be an inspiration
To her little son
And change his thoughts, his mind, his life,
Just with her gentle hum hum
So different, yet so the same
Two sisters only have their parents to blame
Its rare that two can get along
But when they do, theyre inseparable
Such a blessing comes to few yeah
The sky is full of clouds and
My worlds full of people
You got the different kinds with different ways
It would take a lifetime to explain
Not ones the same
He and she, two different people
With two separate lives
Then you put the two together
You get a spectacular surprise
Because one can teach the other one
What she doesnt know
While still the other fills a place inside
He never knew had room to grow
The sky is full of clouds and
My worlds full of people
You got the different kinds with different ways
It would take a lifetime to explain
Not ones the same
Oh ueah and once in a while I sit back
And think about the planet
And most of the time I trip on it
To kick back and think about
How massive it all is
And oh how many others are on it yeah
I often think about the world
In which I live today, of animals and plants
And natures gifts set on display
But the most amazing thing
That Ive seen in my time
Are all the different people
And all their different minds minds minds minds
And different ways
It would take a lifetime to explain
Not ones exactly the same
So many different people
So many different kinds
So many many many different people
So many different
Look at me, Im a person
Look at me, Im my own person
So many different people
So many different kinds
For better or for worse, different people
