The Portal
Whenever I walk this riverside path I can't help but think back
to when I was fifteen years old… Oh what bliss!
In my mind's eye I see myself walking hand in hand with my love
stopping every couple of paces for a passionate kiss.
I can clearly recall the time as though it was only yesterday,
we sat away from the path and close to the ears of gold.
The grass was lush and long, and away from prying eyes,
whatever we said and did would remain until now untold.
The echoing sound of the nearby river silenced us as it flowed by,
beneath the hot sun we lay holding hands, heaven came to mind.
Just listening to the water enriched the happiness in our hearts,
we wished we could stay there together until the end of time.
Her fragrance excited me and I told her that I like her perfume,
she said thank you, but it was only the shampoo.
She smiled and kissed me on the lips softly to express her love,
passion took us to the portal, together we went through.
Afterwards we talked about our thrilling, amazing journey
and our feelings of guilt when we returned.
Whole heartedly we agreed we had to go there again very soon,
if only to confirm what we had learned.

Heaven Came To Mind
Whenever I walk this riverside path I can't help but think back,
to when I was fifteen years old… oh what bliss.
In my mind's eye I see myself walking hand in hand with my love
stopping every couple of paces for a passionate kiss.
I can clearly recall that summer as though it was only yesterday,
we decided to sit near to the cornfield to kiss and caress.
The grass was lush and long, and hidden from the path,
silently we lay holding hands, this was togetherness.
The hypnotic sound of the nearby river silenced us as it passed by,
what a beautiful, warm and peaceful day… heaven came to mind.
Just listening to the ripples enriched the happiness in our hearts,
we wanted to remain there together until the end of time.
I could smell her hair and told her that I liked her perfume,
and she said thank you, but it was only the shampoo.
She smiled, and kissed me softly on the lips to express her love,
through the heat of passion we became an inseparable two.
Afterwards we talked and were shocked by how far we had gone,
our parents certainly wouldn't want us to be together.
Despite that we made the decision we would do it again very soon,
in any suitable place and whatever the weather.

Do I Ever Cross Your Mind
Oh, sometimes I go walking through fields where we walked
Long ago in the sweet used to be
And the flowers still grow, but they don't smell as sweet
As they did when you picked them for me
And when I think of you and the love we once knew
How I wish we could go back in time
Do you ever think back on old memories like that
Or do I ever cross your mind
Oh, how often I wish that again I could kiss
Your sweet lips like I did long ago
And how often I long for those two loving arms
That once held me so gentle and close
And when I think of you and the love we once knew
How I wish we could go back in time
Do you ever recall these old memories at all
Or do I ever cross your mind
When old memories appear my eyes wont stay clear
When I think of those happier times
Do you ever recall these old memories at all
Or do I ever cross your mind
Do you ever think back on old memories like that
Or do I ever cross your mind

Young Couples First Kiss
a young couple walking the darkness at night
wanting to experience their first kiss of delight.
he had a knot in his stomach which he could
not explain, and she like him felt the same.
anticipation growing to an extreme height
not letting one another, out of their sight.
they grasped each others hand and continued the walk
she became hesitant, and started to balk.
he squeezed her hand a little tight
and told her it was alright.
they found a secluded spot where no one could see
then they held each other and kissed passionatly.
a kiss so passionate, that it could
not be explained, and their lives
would never be the same.
they pulled apart and looked into each others eyes
a feeling so strong that it could not be denied.
they learned about the first kiss, and thought
about other things, that they must have missed.
so they decided to go a little further
and experiment a little more
and found themselves on the floor.
the passion started to rise faster than
a flaming fire, filling them with desire.
they knew in their hearts that it could not be
they would hurt themselves, and their families.
so they stopped at a point of no return
and just let their fires burn.
they had finally experienced their first kiss
and knew that it was something that they
would forever miss.
they walked away hand in hand
and a smile on their face
and their hearts, beating in a rapid pace.
the rememberance of that fist kiss
will always stay, it is a memory
that will never go away.

A Matter of Trust on a Summer's Day
Jane's mother said
she was up by the church
and so you went up
the path leading
to the church of St Mary
and there she was
laying some flowers
on a gravestone
she looked up
as you approached
and smiled
your mother told me
you were here
you said
I think Mother
must like you
she wouldn't
have told you
otherwise
Jane said
getting up
from the graveside
and brushing her hands
on her summery dress
who are the flowers for?
you asked
looking at the flowers
placed in a small jar
on the grave
a parishioner
we used to know
who used to like
this type of flower
oh I see
you said
looking at the graves around
and the Downs further back
and the trees nearby
where did you want to go?
you asked
how about a walk to Cocking?
we can do some shopping
while we're there
and enjoy each other's
company in the process
is it far? you asked
a mile or so
she replied
ok
you said
and you followed her
down the path
and along the lane
to her house
and you waited outside
while she went inside
after a few minutes
her mother came out
with her and said
it's very good of you
to go with Jane
all that way
I wouldn't like her
to go alone
that's all right
you said
and she smiled
and went in side
and Jane said
see she trusts you
not many boys
around here
she'd say that to
oh right
you said
looking at
her dark hair
and her eyes
gazing at you
and her hand
holding a shopping bag
and her lips
breaking into a smile
come on
she said and
so she took
your hand
and you walked
along the lane
keeping close
to the hedgerow
the sun warm
and the sky blue
and you sensed a joy
of it being
just her and you.

A Perfect Day
Through a field of early summer grass
we walked holding hands,
stopping only to smile and kiss;
love was easy to understand.
We talked of our love for each other
on this perfect warm sunny day.
It was as if we were in another world
and life was beautiful this way.
We laughed and aimlessly wandered
then stopped, and passionately kissed.
A deep feeling of desire came upon us
and we didn’t want to resist.
A carpet of untouched grass beckoned,
the most perfect place to be found.
Away from watchers and prying eyes
we made naked love on the ground.

What Others May Think.
Apart from the water tower
and the farm
and a few scattered cottages
there were no other buildings
for a mile or more
just you and Jane
and birds in the early morning sky
I like it at this time of day
she said
I like the fresh smell of nature
and the farm
and having few people about
you walked beside her down the lane
that led away from the farm
you noticed how her black hair
seemed freshly washed
and blew slightly in the mild wind
does you father mind
you being out with me?
you asked softly
he doesn't know
she replied
he thinks I came out alone
for a morning walk
why didn't you tell him?
you asked
he was busy writing his Sunday sermon
and it was easier to just go out
and not disturb him
she said looking around at you
her eyes studying you
as she walked on down the lane
would he mind you being with me?
you asked
I don't think he knows you as yet
seeing as you have only moved here
a few months and don't come
to the church
you stopped and took her hand in yours
it was warm and soft
and pulsed with life
she looked at your hand
holding hers and she rubbed
her thumb over the back
of your hand
you wanted to kiss her lips
or cheek just to feel
her flesh on yours
but you didn't you just looked at her
and waited to see
what she would do next
she let go of your hand
and looked around her
there might be people looking
from those cottages up there
she said suddenly pointing up
at the rising bank which went up
to two cottages high up
if they see us they may tell Father
and then it would be awkward
and he might suspect things
and then she went quiet
and looked at the running stream
by the lane
but we haven't done anything
we just walk out and talk
and hold hands now and then
it's not what we do
it's what others think we do
she said softly
and stood looking at you
waiting for you to speak
but you said nothing
just leaned in close to her
and kissed her cheek
and said
even Christ permitted kisses
even the one from Judas
and she smiled
and the early morning sun
pushed through trees
and shone on her hair
and there was the sound of birds
singing in the air.

Happiness And Joy
when you look for yourself and find
this self
within your heart
and you touch this self
so lovingly
with the understanding of your mind
you have found happiness
like you put your hands behind your back
and embrace your shoulders
fleeting and sometimes
tiring this search
of self that ends sometimes
in questioning
how long does this last?
this won't
it will pass but it may come again
but to last
it will not
you either go deeper
or you go higher
always beyond yourself
to find another
a heart to your heart
a mind to your mind
you talk you understand you reach for another hand
you kiss, you make love, you share each other 's bodies
each other's long lonely nights
this can be more than happiness
we call this joy
but you go deeper this time or higher if you
prefer it
this search for joy greater than joy
this joy beyond bodies beyond nights beyond hands
beyond time
eternal happiness, this is joy greater than joy
we sense it
but not completely
we sense it when we look at the eyes of the person we love
and who loves us in return
truthfully and so beautifully
the feelings in our hearts
as we sleep and make love and dream and stay together
with clasped hands
we have mere glimpses
vague but it is there
it is the joy that always lurks but cannot fully make us see
we are too small yet
too young to fully dance the steps and leaps of this
i am still looking for this
this joy
i know it is there, but i just can't utter it
i must know better
i live some more and perhaps if need be
die and then travel and be there
beyond, yes always this feeling of beyond
my armpit is warm and my eyes are still rolling
i am holding it
i have it in my heart but not competely
and so i ramble
in so much waiting, this impatience
but lovely still, and yes, so beautiful....tomorrow.

And The Grass Won't Pay No Mind (Undubbed Master)
Listen easy, you can hear God calling
Walking barefoot by the stream
Come on to me, Your hair's softly falling
On my face as in a dream
And the time will be our time
And the grass won't pay no mind
Saying nothing, lying where the sun is
Baking down upon our sides
My lips touch you, with their soft wet kisses
Your hands gentle in reply
And the time will be our time
And the grass won't pay no mind
Child, touch my soul with your cries
And the music will know what we've found
I, hear a hundred good-byes
But today I hear only one sound
The moment we're living is now
Now now now now now now now
Young bird flying, and a soft wind blowing
Cools the sweat inside my palms
Close my eyes, hear the flowers growing
As you lay sleeping in my arms
And the time will be our time
And the grass won't pay no mind
No the grass won't pay no mind

I Remember You
Woke up to the sound of pouring rain
The wind would whisper and I'd think of you
And all the tears you cried, that called my name
And when you needed me I came through
I paint a picture of the days gone by
When love went blind and you would make me see
I'd stare a lifetime into your eyes
So that I knew you were there for me
Time after time you were there for me
Remember yesterday - walking hand in hand
Love letters in the sand - I remember you
Through the sleepless nights and every endless day
I'd wanna hear you say - I remember you
We spend the summer with the top rolled down
Wished ever after would be like this
You said I love you babe, without a sound
I said I'd give my life for just one kiss
I'd live for your smile and die for your kiss
Remember yesterday - walking hand in hand
Love letters in the sand - I remember you
Through the sleepless nights and every endless day
I'd wanna hear you say - I remember you
We've had our share of hard times
But that's the price we paid
And through it all we kept the promise that we made
I swear you'll never be lonely
Woke up to the sound of pouring rain
Washed away a dream of you
But nothing else could ever take you away
'Cause you'll always be my dream come true
Oh my darling, I love you
Remember yesterday - walking hand in hand
Love letters in the sand - I remember you
Through the sleepless nights and every endless day
I'd wanna hear you say - I remember you

Behind The Door Of A Metaphor
We were walking along the tow path
when suddenly out of the blue
she came right out and asked if I loved her,
I was knocked back for a second or two.
She stood there waiting for an answer
and seriously looked me in the eye.
'Now is a good time to answer, ' she said,
'does my question deserve a reply? '
So I said, 'Does a boat sail on water?
Is a beautiful summer sky, blue?
Do lovers hold hands and kiss?
If they do, then we do what lovers do.'
She smiled as I pulled her closer,
and I kissed her passionately.
'Yes, ' she said, 'but do you love me? '
And then I said, 'Is the air that we breathe free? '
She said, 'Why can't you just say 'I love you',
are you afraid or are you unsure? '
I said, 'You haven't told me yet that you love me.'
And she said, 'Oh, it's there behind a metaphor door.'

Dreary Night
What happened on that day before the sun set?
Has anyone ever seen a star in the sky on a dreary night?
Has anyone ever ridden upon the tail of a shooting star?
Too hard for me to believe, as I cannot fathom reality-
I would go in my father’s garden trying to find myself- though
All I can see are the roses-
My eyes see clearly and I look all about but all I see are roses.
Yesterday I was walking home terrified of people walking behind me.
I saw a daffodil in full bloom, in all of its glory.
But I wept, though unobtrusively- tears of destitute fear.
It cannot be spring on the fourth day of February,
Although I may long for it to be-
I cannot sing songs of love and hopefulness, as
I have never been in love, or never wished to be.
I ask myself- have you ever seen a star on a dreary night?
Did you ever ride bareback upon the tail of a shooting star?
My sanity is buried beneath tons of stones upon
Which I have fallen, while running, trying to escape the pathway of my delusions-
I am strong inside, I have been told, and I rarely scream aloud.
When I close my eyes all I can see are roses-
As those growing in my father’s garden-
It has been years since he has passed away.
I hear voices early in the morning threatening me.
They cannot be silenced. It is still dark outside.
But when I close my eyes I can still see the roses- yellow, red and white-
I ask myself- what happened on that night I recall, twenty years ago?
My father died and his garden remains-
My mother died soon afterward, leaving nothing but memories behind.
I remember the daffodil I saw yesterday-
I should have picked it for my mother and placed it in a vase-
But she would never see it because she left this world- without saying “goodbyeâ€.
I am a stranger to this world and am still trying to find my way through the darkness.
I could take a ride on the tail of a shooting star and close my eyes and dream, as
I am searching for a new place in time, even though mysteriously-
When I close my eyes- all I can see are the roses dancing in a gentle winter’s breeze,
Though they are now withering away and dying.
It is a dreary winter’s night - but the stars are out and the moon is full.
It now illuminates the path I walk and I would give my soul to the world for
Some peace of mind and all I can do is close my eyes and
Follow the pathway of my fantasies and pray-
My wish would be to see the light shine upon the world of my delusions.
As I close my eyes and wish upon a star I weep- though
All I can see are roses, their petals to the wind- dead to the world outside.
Darkness prevails but I believe I see a star on this dreary night, silencing my tears.
And while that daffodil looks striking beneath the light of the full moon-
A night has never looked so beautiful, not even in a dream.

The Doubted Journey
I really want you, ceratainly,
I really need you, definitely
As a poor man in solitude,
Holding bags looking at the sky,
Seeing no hope in the clouds,
As they gather power to rain,
Should I go or maybe stay,
Its me and the doubted journey
The trains are all gone, hopeless
And my message is not getting through,
Its raining and im torn, merciless,
Some told me to walk away,
Some told me to walk towards,
I went on bended knees,
Its me and my doubted journey
And all the wars im fighting,
All the thoughts that come along,
Should I step foward,
Will you open your arms almost lover,
Or maybe close them for good,
Looking foward is like looking backwards,
I am not a mad man, im falling in love,
Its just me and my doubted journey
Looking at you was like coming,
Looking at myself was like going,
Such precision my mind did deny,
Yet such purity my heart did desire,
Such thoughts she want me to retire,
Yet such a feeling is full of disire,
Im not amorous, im a man in love,
Poor me, love is walking away,
Yes my heart is seeking thee,
Yet my mind thinks otherwise,
Its me and the doubted journey
Her eyes were like balls of white snow,
Her ears so perfect and adorable,
Stretched by the golden hearts hanging,
With the posture of real womanhood,
And modesty of a unwavering lady,
Will you ever feel the same noble woman?
Or maybe life has less to offer?
More to offer to them not me?
Time was my friend and I trusted,
He bacame Judas, like always,
Being so perfect together we seem,
Yet its just the wrong time,
The roses we see,
The thorns we see,
The gardens we enter,
The gardens not ours,
The minds we have,
The ideas we device,
Should I steal a rose,
In my garden how will I place,
Have I found you yet,
Or maybe otherwise,
Unto the garden you reside shall i walk,
Or unto that garden shall I stay away,
Its me and my doubted journey
I would choose to be a warrior of love,
Than fear hang around itself on my neck,
Too bad he might drag me into oblivion,
Yet the journey I have taken,
Its just me,
And the doubted journey

Supergirl, Remember Me?
The first time we met, she stood before me,
She spoke just as I was looking,
Not knowing her before that time.
She was suddenly so close to me,
There and merely a few feet from me,
Her face deserving more fascination,
As my mind took in her every word.
I hadn't heard the first words at all,
My eyes taking in her super beauty...
The twisting curling waterfalls,
Her precious cascading golden hair...
Her blue eyes looking straight at me,
As if I held some importance to her...
Her sweet lips moved quite quickly,
Her words bombarded my ears,
Suddenly my mind understood...
And I asked her, 'Please start over...'
She looked confused at that request,
But I explained how she affected me,
She smiled at my honest compliment,
Yet she needed some information...
How strange that my answer was so easy,
I could have told her in seconds,
But then she'd say farewell and be gone,
Thus not fitting love's purpose...
I asked if I told her, would I see her again?
Would she soon return to talk once more?
Or would she never return, leaving me,
Forever like this, being affected by her...
'Tell me what I need to know...' she said,
'I will return to you soon, right here...
We can talk! ' she promised, with a smile,
A smile that took my breath away...
In seconds, being told, she left me, lonely...
I waited there as the hours passed...
Returning each day with a rose bouquet
Of red, yellow and blue roses for her.
Days passed, then I saw her flying overhead.
'Supergirl, remember me? ' I shouted to her...
In a heartbeat, she stood beside me...
She kissed my lips, said, 'TOMORROW! '
Then she and the roses were gone...
Today has come... her promise kept...
She kissed me again, lifting me high...
Then clear across the pure blue sky...
Landing together, some private place...
Walking hand-in-hand upon that beach,
With me thinking it but a dream,
Yet too beautiful for a dream to be,
Because that's how it felt to me...
Love all consuming, engulfing,
Surrounding, swirling, revolving,
Involving every heightened sense,
Controlling every heartfelt hope...
I wondered if she felt that way
Upon this brilliant sunshine day,
That Supergirl could like me, too,
Maybe someday say, 'I love you! '
Undeserving of this Supergirl,
Yet somehow love returned...
What luck is this in all the world,
This joy I haven't earned?
She speaks of Krypton far away,
A distant world so grand...
Yet there she stands upon my left,
As we walk hand-in-hand...

Somewhere In Fantasy Land
Yesterday, as we strolled
together in a fantasyland,
I was taken back to another
time of our youth.
A handsome young man, a
young naive girl, holding
hands. Looking at each
other with stars in their
eyes.
Anticipating tomorrow.
The grassy meadows were
lush and green. Valleys
were ablaze of color.
Baby buds yawned, waking up
from their long winters nap.
Began to open their eyes
as the warmth of the season
penetrated them.
Petals opened displaying a
pamorama.
You gently touch my
lips, asking me, I agreed.
That day so long ago, I
found my hearts delight.
Knowing this love would
last forever, and it has.

Lonely Tear
I close my eyes and you are there
As you stand in front of me
I reach out my hand to hold you
As you have set my soul and mind free
You then give me a smile and then a kiss
And now my heart and soul is on fire
I tremble and shake with thoughts only of you
My heart is full of want and your desire.
You then close your eyes and walk towards me
We then kiss with both passion and need
You gave me what I want I gave you what you have
To each other our passions we will feed.
You then step away to show me who you are
I ravish you with my hands and eyes
I then caress your breasts and touch your lips
Once again I am a man deep inside.
You turn around just one more time
To prove to me that your the woman for me
I take a deep breath it explodes in my soul
My soul and mind of all other women is free.
You take me by the hand and lead me to our bed
We lay down together with you at my side
Your head is on my chest and my hands in your hair
My passion for you for this night I will not hide.
You then make me a man I can barely stand
I look at you as you are covered with silk and lace
We then kiss again you’re my lover and friend
As I can see the pleasure upon your face.
I open my eyes and now you are gone
And sadly it was a dream you are no longer here
I now forget the passion and the words I had spoke
Now I walk away alone, with one lonely tear.

We Close Our Eyes
We close our eyes
We close our eyes and dream and the world has turned around again
When everybody is running in the big race
And having a good time
Who am I to cast a shadow
Who am i?
I looked death in the face last night
I saw him in a mirror
And he simply smiled
He told me not to worry
He told me just to take my time
Chorus:
We close our eyes and the world has turned around again
We close our eyes and dream and another year has come and gone
We close our eyes and the world has turned around again
We close our eyes and dream ...
And if you come to me
And if you touch my hand
I might just slip away
I might just disappear
Who am i?
And if you think Im worth it
And if you think its not too late
We might start falling
If we dont try to hard
We might start falling in love
(chorus)
Were on the healing path
Were on a roller coaster ride
That could never turn back
And if you love me
And if you really try
To make the seconds count
Then we can close our eyes
(chorus)
We close our eyes and the world has turned around again

At A Time I Did Truly Love (Sextilla / Sestet)
At a time I did truly love,
as if it comes from God above
with something in every kiss,
something that I cannot explain,
and I longed for you again,
longed for happiness and bliss.
Memory brought me to this place
to your words, to your smiling face
the kisses from your glowing lips
and all of this comes back to me
as if I can once again be
between your loving tender hips
but life cannot be as before,
time we cannot turn back, once more
and sometimes we do love in vain
and although we know to forgive
the words, all that I then did give,
brought nothing to me but sheer pain
and time now does move somewhat on,
years and some feelings are now gone
and at a time love meant something,
to some it stays through a lifespan
and now I am another man,
who finds life and love amazing.

Talked Me Into It
I'll stand and hold onto
everything I wished for
I'm stubborn, but you talked me into it
You have the key to my mind
I melt in front of you
You turn me on without trying
You talked me into it
And I let you, at that time
I could have believed
anything you said
You ignored me before that night
but I was desperate for your attention
If I was psychic,
woulda wished for anything but you
You talked me into it
Into everything I wished for
I'm stubborn, but you talked me into it
Wondered if you knew I existed
I was enchanted with you
Never felt more forgotten
I'm stubborn, but you laughed
Said, I'll never leave you in the rain
I took your word, let you
Talk me into it
You're the only one that has
enough of me to love
and wish
You talked me into it
Banished me to the back of your mind
after all these years
Never felt more forgotten
I'm stubborn, but
I remember that night
When you talked me into it
But I stood and held onto
everything I wished for
I'm stubborn, but you talked me into it
